2861  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's FIFA World Cup Pool Discussion Thread on: July 12, 2018, 07:09:43 PM
Well done to Croatia, they deserved to play in the final. England showed just a pathetic gameplay tonight with Harry Cane in total shadow, in fact I don't remember if he got a ball tonight. Croatia this year have world calibre players, but against France it will be tough if not impossible for them to win.

Did you see how Croatia played?  They been beating down Kane, Lingaard, Young and a couple others, and were getting away with some of it.

Anyway, I could def see them win it depending on how France reacts to Croatia's rough play.  And I could see it already...  Poor Giroud, Mbappe, Pogba and Kante... They gonna take a beating.  Grin
I don't think what Croatia did for England will work for France as well. Remember that France defeated Belgium which is one of the strongest teams in the World Cup. Their defense held them scoreless in the rest of the much as well after Umtiti scored. So expect this to be a crazy match but I hope Croatia will win in this tourney, I always like the idea of underdogs winning.
2862  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-12] Crowdsale KYC is Fueling a Black Market for Fake ID on: July 12, 2018, 04:05:08 PM
As much as the government is on the side of cryptocurrencies these kinds of things will make them push into more tougher kinds of regulations and a more stricter enforcement of laws. All they just need to do is to provide legitimate documents in order to proceed with the crowdsale but they are simply pushing it by breaking the law. Now this future ICOs will have the potential to have tougher requirements like a physical registration or even a valid ID that will issue by the government to be a licensed participant of crowdsales.

This is not a group, it's a bot. Blockfolio good application, but as I understand it is still in development and does not see all the prices, some schedules are somehow late. Maybe it's just me. In any case, thanks for the comment. Perhaps it will be more convenient for someone to lie in a telegram like me.
Blockfolio is a good application indeed and I will always choose it rather than have several bots notifying me from price actions. Blockfolio's app development is ongoing but the app itself is running smooth as of now and is covering a lot of cryptocurrencies even the tokens under the NEM wallet is being shown by the app itself. I am not saying your suggestions are bad but speaking cryptocurrency management wise having 1 app to update you all the prices is better than having several bots on updating you with the prices it just makes multitasking much easier, just my two cents.
2864  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Useful services for Beginners on: July 12, 2018, 01:15:50 PM
Are telegram groups really necessary to be alerted on cryptocurrency prices? You just provided a lot of links just to be alerted by several of them when you can just have one app like Blockfolio, the app has a feature where you can be alerted when a certain price has been reach. Unlike what you are suggesting which are several exchanges this one will notify you will all the coins in the market. Also other wallet providers such as Coinbase also have an alert feature that notifies you on certain cryptocurrencies in which they are also handling. Telegram groups are really messy for me as you are part with other people which sends unnecessary things not related to the group, I often mute or leave this kinds of groups that are totally unmoderated.
2865  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: New Casino ZoomDice.com IS SCAM ! on: July 12, 2018, 11:46:54 AM
then site closed and stole all left balance on all user ... the end

This was the last post of ZoomDice before they have disappeared :
There was some issue with the server and I was admitted in a hospital for Typhoid for weeks. The site will be back online soon.

The site was probably a one man show as no one have maintained operations when he was "admitted to a hospital". DarkStar_ would need to take another look at this since he is the one who made his feedback to neutral due to their site going back in operations again. But right now it looks like the end of it for ZoomDice and it won't be coming back as DarkStar_ might be right that they might be on the run now or the man running the website has been re-admitted in the "hospital".
2866  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Tax enforcement of Crypto in 5 Countries on: July 12, 2018, 10:31:23 AM
I am really thinking of these developed countries being concerned more on their tax collection rather then how it will affect the prices in a bad way. If their tax enforcement improve somehow then they will bust some tax evader which will really affect the prices in a bad way but the price decrease brought by it will only be temporary and as soon as the market adjust to the stricter enforcement I think the prices will normalize from that point on. Plus the more taxes the government collects the better the economy will be for that country.
2867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk's FIFA World Cup Pool Discussion Thread on: July 12, 2018, 09:26:49 AM
So I've got this game down as 1-1 and they're about to start extra time with that score now. Got a feeling I'll get shafted again with a late goal like in the Russia game. Getting 700 points from this game is pretty much the only way I'll still be in the running for top five. Really wish it was just the 90 minutes they take the scores from. Far too hard to predict the draws this way.

Edit: Absolute bastards.
It hurts doesn't it? I got the game to 2-2 but I know that a late goal from Croatia will be hard to match by England. The sad thing to see is that the early goal in England got me confident about seeing early goals from each side, my confidence suddenly shrink when the first half suddenly became boring with only a few attempts in each side. But oh well I have screwed up big time on this part of the Pool, Good luck to the rest who is still competing for the top spot of the leaderboard.

Do you have a license to operate as a digital currency exchanger?

There are none in our country
So you can simply register your digital currency exchange in your country and do not need any authorization from authorities?

I think you are talking about stock exchange and we are talking about simple currency exchange (you know like those booths at the airport and and next to the tourist sites but with crypto?)  and for this you do not need a license. Only few countries in the world are just starting to regulate this activity.
I understand that you do not need a license in your country in Europe for exchanging crypto currencies, but you need to register your exchange activity?
I don't think they have too. If their main point for having an exchange is not to trade cryptocurrencies itself I don't think they need to register their exchange part of business. Most dice sites with exchange built in their system are their way to solve the problems of their gamblers who wants to avoid high fees during that time. Also a lot of us here in the forum are trading our cryptos to other cryptos without any license does that make our trades illegal? Do we need some kind of license in order to trade our stuff?
2869  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you think that people will invest in BTC in future immensely on: July 11, 2018, 02:40:44 PM
In the future I think Bitcoin's time will come to an end as the time when the market matures a lot of the investors and traders in the market will venture off in better investment opportunities within the market. Think of it this way a newbie investor in stocks always stick to the safe bets a.k.a. the Blue Chips but after some time they will stray away from their safe bets to risky fast movers as they know their money will grow much faster with the added risk. With this scenario where a lot of newbie investors decided to risk their money in turn for a better investment opportunity they will get to choose a new and perhaps a better altcoin to replace their Bitcoin investments.
2870  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Symbol of blockchain on: July 11, 2018, 10:26:29 AM
The fourth picture in the ones you have shared is their official logo as it is the one being use in their blockchain.com website and you can see it clearly being use as their favicon logo. But instead of using the logo/symbol of Blockchain why not create your own diagram for it instead? If you are creating an article about Blockchain, readers will easily understand what blockchain is if explained with a diagram of how it basically works.
2871  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-11] Huobi offers cryptocurrency trading for US residents on: July 11, 2018, 08:49:44 AM
Not the best time for an exchange to enter a new territory or even expand in terms of their business operation. Even if the bearish market is the best time to buy cryptocurrencies you don't expect that buyers will react the same way as a bear market is not appealing for most newbies which is one of their biggest mistakes, they don't have that right mindset needed in this kinds of situation. They should be starting to get some market share as soon as a bull market is spotted in the market. By that time a lot of newbies will try to buy and buy cryptocurrencies.

Hope you have resolved the problem with your negative feedback given by Stunna first rather than creating a new thread all together. Your new account is still at risk of being tag by Stunna or and DT member in that matter even if you created a new thread as it still is promoting the same website as before. By the way what is the reason for you creating a new thread?
2873  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Legalize Blockhcain - Legal Conference on: July 10, 2018, 07:14:10 PM
For all I know Blockchain Technology itself isn't illegal but the ones behind it (cryptocurrencies) are the ones being questioned by the government. Blockchain Technology is widely being exploited by a lot of companies and industries right now, just take a look on this news about the Retail Company, Walmart submitting and winning a patent claim on how they will integrate blockchain technology in storing medical records. This news is in itself shows that Blockchain technology is not illegal and I don't think that it ever will be.
2874  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to make a portfolio? on: July 10, 2018, 06:18:41 PM
If you are talking about tokens coming from a recently launched bounty campaign chances are all the tokens you will be managing won't be available in one exchange. So relying on their included portfolios (several of them) would be confusing that is why using a 3rd party cryptocurrency management app/website is the best for you as all your holdings will just be in one portfolio. A lot of people have mentioned the apps Delta and Blockfolio. But if you just want a website Cryptopanic also works well.
2875  Economy / Gambling / Re: Unique Bitcoin Game - For The Ultimate Experience on: July 10, 2018, 05:19:34 PM
I think you need to change a lot regarding your website starting with putting the FAQs and How to Play Sections readily available at your home page without even logging in, right now if I am just a new player and I stumble upon your website I will just think of it as a phishing website or something dangerous. I mean just look at your homepage you have no other color besides shades of blue, other than that you have the name "Verge Nine" on your upper right corner you are not providing some screenshots or info about your provably fair system online, or even provide info on what Verge Nine really is. Seriously a lot of people will have second thoughts in creating an account with your website.
2876  Other / Meta / Re: I've just invented dMerits. on: July 09, 2018, 06:15:51 PM
I think that there is fairly serious consideration before a person is approved as a merit source.  One of the considerations is their record in awarding sMerits. If they don't have any sMerrits to award, then this evaluation becomes difficult. I don't think that sources should be able to appoint secondary sources, but maybe they could suggest potential candidates, as could local communities. Removing a person as a merit source is quite a major decision, and could cause quite a bit of bad feeling, and the loss of a valuable member. Secondary sources would not need to be removed, but if they were not acting responsibly, then they wouldn't receive any merits to award.
I did have a similar idea with one of my proposal in this section where the unused sMerits of merit sources would be transferred to another kind of merit source and it didn't get much approval from the other members. But with your idea where they are given the sMerits might work this secondary merit sources just need to be approved or allowed by admins.

Other alternative I see is for you to have some kind of post review where your trusted source sends you links of posts they think is worthy of merits and you yourself decide on how much if any will you give to that post.
2877  Other / Meta / Re: I've just invented dMerits. on: July 09, 2018, 05:08:42 PM
Adding some kind of pseudo-merit source is entirely not a bad idea but by giving the merit source the power to delegate the sMerits to a "apprentice" could potentially lead to some abuse in the merit system overall. They don't even go through the screening process of a regular merit source in the first place.  But this can be avoided if these apprentices will go through some kind of screening process themselves where the merit source will request for approval of the delegation or transfer of sMerit to an admin.
2878  Economy / Economics / Re: ETFs on: July 09, 2018, 02:50:46 PM
How does ETFs actually help the price movement of Bitcoin? Because I don't see any direct relation with it and Bitcoin as they are totally from different market industries. I don't even know if ETF fund managers are allowed to put BTC to one of their investment portfolios due to volatility and lack of fundamental attributes. But if you are talking about the influence of its price movement, I don't think it is the only one helping if other markets as well is going up then we can suspect that the cryptocurrency market is headed to the same direction as others.
2879  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-07-06] BTC to 'rise' as 90% of other cryptocurrencies 'fail or DIE' on: July 09, 2018, 01:40:38 PM
18% by August is achievable considering how much we already lost ever since the start of 2018. This kinds of price forecast are something of a sure shot as we are still seeing Bitcoin on having a bullish momentum also considering what other cryptocurrencies are experiencing in the market. We must keep in mind that this short price rallies or small bull runs is not what we are after if we consider ourselves as investors of Bitcoin but if you consider yourself as a trader this short price rallies are potential selling points for short trading and we can pick up BTC back again at a lower price.
2880  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fastest Dice Site? on: July 09, 2018, 12:31:08 PM
Someone already mentioned the answer and it will vary from dice site to dice site depending on how near you are to their server. Some servers of dice sites perform much better, smoother, and faster on gamblers who are close or match to their location. I have seen previous posts in the past that also has answered this question although I forgot what thread is it exactly posted but they mostly talked about some countries perform much faster bets as they were compatible with their servers. So it is hard to say a particular dice site as you might want to test them all out for yourself.
