1941  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DeltaChain - FAKE TEAM on: April 13, 2019, 06:59:37 PM
At this point I guessed that they won't be doing anymore of the excuses (at least in the forum) you have mentioned since the project is somehow dead. Their campaign manager, Tonyoscar, hasn't been active since September 2018, their social media pages don't have any updates for this year, and their Telegram channel has no active members chatting except for the bot doing automated replies. Everything seems to have went dark all of a sudden even their smart contract address isn't receiving anything.
1942  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-13] What Russia’s ‘Digital Iron Curtain’ Means for Bitcoin Users on: April 13, 2019, 05:25:15 PM
According to proposed regulations, the government wants to restrict Russian traders to local crypto exchanges and also only allow “qualified” investors – e.g., those with a degree in economics and a certificate from the government – to trade Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

WTF?!?!?!?!?!? With that kind of regulation they are exactly doing the exact opposite of what other countries are doing where they allow their citizens to trade and try to limit money from their financial institutions coming in. Why the hell do you need a degree in economics for before you trade legally when we all know most of the economists out here are close minded when it comes to the crypto market itself. They are setting the motion backwards here and I doubt that there is really a big threat in their country to do such thing.
1943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Game of Thrones - Who will rule? Odds and betting discussion [Odds updated!] on: April 12, 2019, 03:12:15 AM
I don't get it Cheesy. How do you make predictions about a thing that is literally a TV show, isn't that too risky for cloudbet ? I mean yay for us of course but it is sooooo undecided that anything could happen. I am not saying Yara Greyjoy will sit on the iron throne (would be very weird) but how come Bran is leading right now ?
There's a lot of fan theory running in Youtube right now and one of the most popular ones is he is really the Night King which he is controlling through is warg ability. Another fan theory is Bran Stark and Brand the builder who built the wall is really just one person and he visited the past to build it.Other than that he knows what will happen next through his greensight power which will really be handy in the upcoming season. Other than that he could technically change the past just like what happened to Hodor.
1944  Other / Meta / Re: Thoughts on people that use this forum as income source? on: April 11, 2019, 08:27:53 PM
This forum isn't like a bodybuilding forum that focuses on workouts and diet or a car forum that focuses on car reviews and parts this is a cryptocurrency related forum that focuses on Bitcoin (and Altcoins) which is or are currencies in itself. You cannot really speak about cryptocurrencies here without actually having a point on were you can't earn them, its like speaking about cryptids monster without actually seeing one. Like what they have said its inevitable on the nature of the forum itself that's why you see a lot of modes of revenue here not only through campaigns and bounty threads but also in the service and marketplace section as well where you can actually sell physical goods or services to other people.
1945  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: April 11, 2019, 07:42:05 PM
Fortunejack was never a sportsbook and just recently added it and I can clearly see that what they are doing is wrong in so many levels that only think I can think of is them either not using a proper third party program in sportsbook system of their casino and also not really knowing whats good or whats bad in sportsbooks for their lack of experience.

They are usually just a casino so this new sportsbook thing is just a new thing they are trying out and it could be understandable if they suck so much but I am sure in the end they will fix it. If it continues for a long time than we can blame them but for now I just put it on their sportsbook incompetence instead of shady move.
Clearly you should understand that FortuneJack only had released their Sportsbook officially last January 29 and early problems like what you have been experiencing and from other people who have posted their feedbacks online is a normal occurrence to experience on newly launch products in their beta stage. It may not be their forte but just give them time they will adjust and match the level if not surpass the satisfaction other sportsbooks gives to their players, they have done it on several of their games surely they can do it on a big product like this one.
1946  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Im a full Time Trader on: April 11, 2019, 07:07:59 PM
Just by considering that the market is having a bull run alone and still you are not making profits suggests that day time trading isn't the right one for you. If you are a full time trader/day trader you should not only trade on mere suggestions or price predictions you see in the internet, you must have a wide range of knowledge when it comes to trading and that includes technical and market analysis in order for you to gain advantage of forecasting every tick of movement. For newbies like you starting at position or long term hodling is the best thing you can do as mostly all you need is patience and the right price to gain money and a lot of newbies in the market are getting away with it.
1947  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Beats the Dow, Outperforming Every Single Stock, in 2019 on: April 11, 2019, 04:19:56 PM
I don't think that "outperforming" is the right word for BTC having a bigger gain compared to DJIA stocks at least at the present. If you look at its historical chart DJIA have not experienced any significant downward trend ever since the recession has stopped in the year 2009. While Bitcoin through its creation has been volatile all throughout its lifetime the latest bear market we experienced started at December 2017 and we still cannot confirm that we are out of it until now. So I wouldn't be comfortable saying BTC has outperformed the stock market generally.
1948  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 10, 2019, 07:41:46 PM
Dirk was one of the few people in NBA history who everybody love in unison. I mean Jordan is still hated by many people, even Wilt is said "he played in easy era" and all that, Kobe was always hated, Lebron is hated by many. There is really not that many people everyone loves, I think Tim Duncan is one of those guys (another power forward Cheesy ) and Dirk is another.
You know why? He is one of the very few players who ever won a championship with a team that he didn't ask for. Dirk Nowitzki is just a cornerstone for the Mavericks and he just played basketball at his best, he never asked for Mark Cuban to recruit all stars to make him win his only ring. He tried to be the very best and maximize his contribution on the team he have. Unlike star players in our current generation which will try to do anything just to win a ring with no loyalty whatsoever. He never asked for a big paycheck to stay because he knows that Dallas is his only team, he even played his last two remaining seasons with the team on only a 10 million dollar contract (5 for each season) which is really not big considering how much players not even better than him are asking.
1949  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Steps to check potential phising links on: April 10, 2019, 06:30:45 PM
For people recommending on hovering on the potential phishing links, this will only work if the url itself is directly linked to the text. But for URL shorteners this trick won't work as they would only show you the url for the shortned website not the website link itself (try hovering on the shortened link posted by whotookmycrypto in the thread). So if you know that you are on a sketchy website or a strange person have given you a URL shortened link then you must be very cautious on looking at the various red flags seen on a phishing website because I myself personally won't even bite and click the link, I would rather search the official website instead in Google just to be safe.

1950  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BitcoinSV Gold - Plagiarized whitepaper on: April 10, 2019, 05:15:12 PM
It may not be a scam but definitely this is just a shitty ERC20 token, this token should be tagged just by using the word "Bitcoin" and creating a token itself based on the Ethereum blockchain. Aside from a plagiarized whitepaper they have not shown any team profile on neither their website or whitepaper or even in their shitty ANN thread which I think are all grounds of a scam if not a shitcoin which I have a no doubt is one. This shitcoin really has no originality behind it, they even copied the supply of Bitcoin (21 Million) but the thing is their token cannot be mined.
1951  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-05]Mafias in Italy Use Bitcoin & Cryptos for Money Laundering on: April 10, 2019, 03:55:00 AM
Isn't the Anti-money laundering regulation in Europe have been changed by the European Union about a year ago? I have read it before that they have updated their AML procedures due to the prominence of cryptocurrencies in Europe so I doubt that the news article is really paying attention on their past news by creating this one. That's why they already have their sights on the mafia already as they have been flagged by the new changes. EU particularly the country of Italy isn't lacking on any kind of regulations as they have been the most active European country on embracing cryptocurrencies in their country.
1952  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Can I SUE A Crypto Ponzi PROMOTER? on: April 10, 2019, 02:51:05 AM
I have a strong feeling that the one who recruited you is a "investor" on the ponzi itself and he is not directly associated with the ponzi scheme itself. He is only after the referral commission he will get from you, just like any other users who wants to maximize their income without putting up additional money from any pyramid/mlm scams. At a point in time these users I am referring too are enticed by the referral commission and when it has reached to a point that the pyramid will be having a exit strategy without any trace the people only left are the ones who have recruited you. Now for chasing recruiters if it has proven that they themselves are users of the scam and has been victimized by it I think they won't be severally liable as they aren't really affiliated to the scam company.
1953  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2018-2019 on: April 09, 2019, 07:35:12 PM
Can't imagine 0-0 in a game between Spurs and City.It will harder for City because City head only 3 days break Spurs had 1 week but City is favorite to qulify
Can't imagine different result other than LFC win by minimum 2 goals margin
So far both teams in the match seems to be pretty even at this point with both teams scoring no goals, but with what I am seeing Man City is definitely controlling the ball more and Tottenham might be in trouble for it. The Spurs also have three key players missing in the line up and one of them Eric Dier which led to the team on having a different formation. If the Spurs could keep up with City I do think they have a chance in the 2nd half.
1954  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [GUIDE] How to convert Bitcoin and other crypto with NO FEES on: April 09, 2019, 06:41:26 PM
Basing it from my experience limit orders are a sort of a waiting game as traders usually use it on setting up prices below the current market price. So in cases such as a bull run which the market is currently experiencing pending orders tends to pile up and don't get match quickly as compared to market orders. In this cases where you are missing a bull run I don't think its a smart move for any trader just so he/she can save a few bucks from a single trade. This strategy would be much better if you know yourself that a crypto is going down.
1955  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China refuses mining? on: April 09, 2019, 05:20:49 PM
I wouldn't this thing to be a problem anymore, since the year 2017 Chinese cryptocurrency miners have considered moving out of the country to mine overseas due to high electrical cost as compared to to other countries. This has been the talks for the past few years now and if they banned mining entirely this would be the likely solution for Chinese miners to do because some already have been mining overseas now just because of the expenses alone. Here is another news talking about Iran as one of the potential countries to be attractive to miners due to cheap electricity, a country banning their own mining industry won't be really a problem for miners as they couldn't kill mining entirely that easily.
1956  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: GABAY UPANG MAIWASAN ANG RED TAG MULA SA PAG-PROMOTE NG KILALANG SCAM(FILIPINO) on: April 09, 2019, 04:06:22 PM
~snip~
Napaka gandang payo kabayan, I never thought that you are a Filipino. I think there's a lot of Filipino's here na DT member din.
1957  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk.org creator? on: April 09, 2019, 07:06:08 AM

I guessed you can blame Bitcointalk's terrible webpage on not having actual reliable sources, you cannot even see BCT links as cited sources for the page. I have read it before that Wikipedia don't count forum posts and links as a reliable source for the web page that is why you can only see others reference links outside of the forum, which is pretty surprising to me as they counted a cointelegraph article as "reliable" source for the page. If they do want an accurate history of Bitcointalk they'll be citing theymos' reply here in your thread.
1958  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 09, 2019, 06:17:38 AM
I think that we can agree to disagree that Bitcoin's movement right now is no way similar to the bull run that happened in late 2017. For one Bitcoin last 2017 isn't coming from it's ATH compared to where Bitcoin is now. If you look at the movements of Bitcoin you can tell that it's slower compared to the rapid pumps we have seen back then. In 2017 we didn't expect Bitcoin to go above 10,000$ and most people didn't even imagine BTC reaching at a price near 20,000$ but now we are expecting it to have a new ATH above the previous price, I think that's enough evidence to say that we aren't following any historical price movements.
1959  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: GABAY UPANG MAIWASAN ANG RED TAG MULA SA PAG-PROMOTE NG KILALANG SCAM(FILIPINO) on: April 08, 2019, 08:16:12 PM
Speaking as a DT member myself hindi naman ganun kabilis magbigay ng negative feedback sa mga kalahok ng participants. As far as I see it they themselves have been victimized or unknowing participants of a scam.
1960  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Bgogo exchange running an IEO without the project's permission on: April 08, 2019, 06:55:43 PM
This cannot be called as an IEO, they are just simply selling their own tokens themselves. The most likely scenario here is Bgogo would sell the tokens above it's token sale price and the exchange would simply earn from it. The ones who have bought through Bgogo will be buying above the market price and Bgogo would definitely know how much they needed to buy for this users. Bgogo would earn a lot of money from this depending on how much they would put on top of the token's original selling price. It's just like Bgogo being a middle man who is taking advantage of both of the parties.
