2861  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will mining be profitable again? on: May 14, 2019, 09:10:23 PM
Now that bitcoin is at 7000k plus is mining becoming profitable again? Or bitcoin still have to surge more in price before profitable mining returns?

if bitcoin is still under $10k, miners find it difficult to make a profit. the lower price for bitcoin should be $10k, then they can get profit. for now they can only survive, if asked whether it is profitable. it is clearly not profitable

They need to invest in renewable source of energy like solar panels to compensate for the cost of electricity. The initial investment is high but it will be recovered in few months time. Then, after that mining will definitely be profitable to them.
2862  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Litigation with Binance - jurisdiction, regulators on: May 13, 2019, 11:50:43 PM
I got confused with OPs post. He just used Google translate to translate the thread that he posted on the link which was on the local Russian board. It seems that he is talking about the recent hack the occurred in Binance. Well, Binance took action on it and they made sure that users funds are safe. They are starting to work on their system to further improve their security.

Using the translator lost the meaning of what he wants to convey. But anyhow, wherever Binance is currently based. They have done their homework where to strategically position their exchange to optimize the advantages of a certain country when it comes to crypto exchange regulations. And in my opinion, BNB will protect their clients from losing their funds.
2863  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Smallcaps on: May 13, 2019, 11:30:30 PM
I've noticed a lot of the smallcaps I've bought earlier last year have come back in price (serenity coin is one of them - did 8x last month which I sold to break even). Anyone have any strategy as to picking the right one?

There is no perfect strategy to choose successful small caps tokens
You just have to continue with your consistent research ability and work it through

If I may add, look for platforms with actual usage in the market. With small cap, the chance of increasing its value is very high. And if you are a holder of that coin, you need to make yourself updated with their developments and other things that might help you decide if you will continue holding or not.

Your logo resembles the PayPal logo. Do you think PP will not pursue any legal action on this behalf? And you have the logo of UnionPay on your card. Does it mean that you have the partnership already?
2865  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you play at a casino where payments are delayed for days? Why? on: May 12, 2019, 10:45:15 PM
The reason why people still playing on a gambling site that doesn't support instant withdrawal yet can be because they are loyal. Sometimes loyalty is non-sense but that's true, another reason could be because they don't know yet about instant withdrawal or not interested with gambling site that provides instant withdrawal but not able to play with fiat. Who knows?
There is no loyalty with money mate. No one would be loyal to anyone to a site that delays payment irrespective of how good the site might be. After all there are no games the site would have to offer that can’t be seen in other sites. I was playing on a site that delays payment before now, didn’t see anything wrong with it because that was where I started gambling and I wasn’t even aware that it is possible to get payment within hours, not until my friends told me about their experience.

I stopped gambling on that site that day. So it is very possible that those people who still play on sites that delay payment are not aware that there is possibility of receiving money instantly without delays.
It is not in the interest of any gambler to gamble on sites with low and bad service and those who understand the difference between good and bad services prefer to stay away from such websites like you did. With crypto a medium of exchange, the transactions should not take anything longer than few minutes or must be instant. There are people who complain about gambling sites blocking their access to chat or different options upon a withdrawal request.

Loyalty is one thing, but seeming to not have any consideration for your users and customers is another. A couole of hours delay would already cause tension and anxiety to most people so what more if it takes days before you receive your payment. Obviously its a serious issue for me and probably for majority of gamblers and site users. There's no use being loyal to a site if you get treated that way.

I don't think payments delayed for days is good for the image of their business. It is like you are waiting in vain. For me, I won't play in that kind of site once I experience such situation. The time is different now, instant withdrawals are very achievable. Are they living in some kind of different era?
2866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some unique advantages of online gambling ? on: May 12, 2019, 10:40:22 PM
There are no casinos close to my home so playing online is much more convenient. I go to a casino at least once a month with friends but I still prefer playing online.

and don't forget that in some countries casinos are allowed only in special areas. but from home we can play in any casino we want.

That is very right. You can play at home at your own convenience time at any online casino you want. Countless benefits can be attributed to online gambling. But one good benefit for me is, playing in various casinos using a small amount of money. You can go from one site to another without spending a lot of money.
2867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao vs Keith Thurman on July 20 on: May 12, 2019, 08:07:40 PM
Saw this fight advertised during the PBC championship fight last night were williams won the title from hurran.
As soon I saw the tail of the tape on both fighters you could say thurman would be the better choice not based on experience but on age. Pacquiao is 40 years old as I didnt know he was that old and thurman is 31.
Anybody else see this as a mismatch because manny isnt a young chicken anymore and could get beat up pretty bad by this younger fighter.

Pacquiao should be in the retirement mode already and give the stage to younger fighters. There's no reason to fight anymore. What is there for him to prove? That he can still box even at 40? Or is it about the money? He has been living a good life already. But I guess, this fight is still interesting. Let us see how Pac will perform this time?
2868  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win a Lamborghini for 0.00056 BTC on: May 12, 2019, 08:02:23 PM
It is getting so famous which is the problem, there are other places that are basically doing the same thing right now and this one is the first one I can think of. Which means the popularity of this topic made other people do the same raffle as well. We now have 3 lambo giveaways that has given away zero lambos so far, they have literally built a whole business model out of giving away nothing.

This has been going on for months now with no give away plus the OP being offline, there is another one like lambowin.com or something like that which has a topic here as well that hasn't given away anything and there is one possibly good one with freebitco.in which I assume will be the first legit giveaway since they require 6 month period and already have a lot of tickets sold, so basically they have built a whole idea around not giving away anything but selling tickets so far.
Agreed. This is a pretty creative way of extracting money from gullible investors. Expected these scams to fall in number ever since the prolonged bear market of 2018 and the rising ICO scams, but looks like I was wrong.

These scams will only fall in number once investors improve their brains in this aspect.

The OP has been offline more than a month already. This will go nowhere. I guess. The other one, lamboforbitcoin was very aggressive getting their tickets sold out. But the authenticity? Still questionable. Freebitco is no doubt very legit. So if you want to participate in a legit lambo lottery, freebitco should be your choice.
2869  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Any knows the mathematical formula to winning the lottery? on: May 11, 2019, 11:30:45 PM
Have you gambled lottery?
Why Mathematicians aren't riches now in gambling since they know and expert in equation solving finding the x value?
Equation solving in Mathematics are helpful to finds or pick the numbers, how did you know if it is even or odd numbers in right combination?
Is the binomial coefficient formula will really help you to find the right winning combination?

Share your thought here and let's discuss this. Cheesy
If there is even one verified formula I'll definitely buy one, but until now, everything is just a theory, there is no exact formula, even a good mathematician can't do that if you are lucky you are going to win, there are some people who are born to be lucky, I come to think that winning a lottery is a destiny.

I seriously doubt, there is a verified formula in lottery contest. If there's even one single formula, it should have been out already. It is pure game of luck and no genius or expert until now has crack such mystery formula for this.
2870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Just Announced New Tokensale on its Launchpad! on: May 11, 2019, 11:24:07 PM
Be careful, tokens bought on this platform are hyped and price is growing only first days after exchange listing, after that big corretion happen, when people realized that they pumped a coin which is still in development, in phase of promising.  Smiley

And after couple of days of trading, you can see the trend is in downward position. Though Binance can market this easily but still, investing in IEOs is a very high risk investment. You need to be ready for whatever consequences might occur after investing your money. As long as you are in profit, I don't see anything wrong selling early of your tokens.
2871  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Time to choose Kucoin ??? on: May 11, 2019, 10:31:58 PM
I don't think looking for another exchange as an alternative to Binance is the solution with the problem here. It is only a matter of time for Kucoin to experience the same situation. Every exchange is vulnerable to hacking scenario. So, I still prefer BNB to trade my coins as they can show to their customers that even if they lost that huge amount of money, they can replace it in no time. It is just a dent of their operations and it will not make them bankrupt in any way. They can protect the interest of their customers, there's no doubt about that.
2872  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Will Happen To Ethereum Price in 2019? on: May 11, 2019, 10:26:27 PM
As Bitcoin price is growing most altcoins will follow, so stop worrying about the price of Ethereum this year. Bitcoin is doing good and we are not in a bearish trend anymore so the longer Bitcoin keeps growing the more these altcoins price will follow.

As many have observed already, the price trend of most alts depend on bitcoin's performance in the market. And eth is not an exception to this trend. So with how things are going for bitcoin, more than likely eth will follow thru. And with more solid plans happening for eth, no doubt they will be in the increasing trend this year. But we can't exactly say how much.
2873  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC? on: May 10, 2019, 11:09:23 PM
Whoever takes XRP serious does not yet know what he is into. I do not think that a person that has been in the crypto space for quite some time now will prefer XRP over BTC or ETH.
BTC will not only always continue to be at top, but also that ETH will be ahead of XRP.

Exactly my thoughts here. I don't even consider XRP as a threat to either ETH or BTC. So no chance of beating btc here. BTC has already positioned itself to be the most used cryptocurrency ever existed. Even with disadvantages on its part, still it is the first choice of most merchants and other institutions. People always connect crypto with bitcoin, there is no denying such fact.
2874  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long-term plan for investment. on: May 10, 2019, 11:04:53 PM
For long-term investment, bitcoin is still my first priority to hold. When someone talks about crypto, everybody understands the existence of bitcoin. All the others are second choices only. In terms of adoption, btc has come a long way already as compared to its nearest competitor. So yeah, I strongly believe that btc is for my long-term investment.
2875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [WISE TOKEN POWERING IOT & M2M ECONOMY] on: May 10, 2019, 10:15:52 PM
Creating any chip is a very laborious process, especially as you described it? There must be an appropriate production base, technology, scientists. Do you have it?

I think the integrity of the whole project is being called into question and judging by the silence the team has left behind here, I'm guessing this is/was another pie in the sky attempted at blockchaining everything

I am guessing this is another abandoned project or maybe not? The website is still up. But what happened to their private sale? Anyone here knows the status of this project? Their presale round is scheduled until June 19, so is this still running? The one who posted the OP was last active last April 18 about their bounty thread and seems still going. Why is the dev team so silent with their project considering that the presale is currently running?
2876  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] The Blockchain-based Successor to Search and Social Advertising on: May 10, 2019, 10:09:40 PM
Relative to advertising, we are positioning ourselves as a better choice than search or social advertising.

Here's why...

With search and social advertising, the degree to which you can target is fairly limited vs. CYDigital: with CYDigital, you can target the individual based on specific behavior. With search and social, you haven't a clue as to Consumer other than (1) what search term they used, or (2) what social grouping category. It's no wonder CTRs are infinitesimal.

More importantly, with search and social advertising, the brand is one step removed from the Consumer, i.e., brand --> FB ---> Consumer. With CYDigital, it's brand --> Consumer. No intermediary. The brand does not need to wait for the desired Consumer to go to FB, T, G, etc. so as to present the advertisement to them.

Case in point: with CYDigital, the brand can reach the Consumer while the Consumer is looking at a competing item. You just can't do that with search and social advertising.

Hope that helps,

Joe

But to realize your ambitions for this platform, people should know that your services exist in the first place. Even if you have the advantage over your competitors when it comes to specific feature, this will be worthless if only few people are using your platform. How are you gonna address the adoption of your system?

At least for once, I can see that you are not running any crowdfunding campaign here. Aside from the fact that there's no premine, no masternode sale. This is really great! But no bounty programs? It means, you are confident on your project to go through. Good luck and will be watching the progress of this project!
2878  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win a Lamborghini for 0.00056 BTC on: May 09, 2019, 09:53:54 PM
For this scheme I would mostly be concerned if its being run by the person mentioned initially.     If its just a UK run lotto from the person with history of selling/lottoing (effectively its a type of auction imo) his house that way, its seem likely he will risk going to jail for fraud and will run it reasonably.    Theres a risk of deception sure but the main deal is to confirm the identity of the promoter and that the tickets are being widely distributed and the promoter will be held responsible after the draw is done.    Theres some risk with dealing with any establishment

I'm curious how things unfold here. His "competitor" already sold all his tickets - lamboforbitcoin. And we are waiting the live streaming of his lottery draw. Now, what is really going on here? Is this going to push thru in any way?
2879  Economy / Gambling / Re: LamboForBitcoin.com *Win A Lamborghini Huracan With The Ultimate BTC Draw* on: May 09, 2019, 09:49:33 PM
So far I've skimmed throughout every post in this thread and couldn't find anyone that claims to bought a ticket and posted the transaction ID and traced where the funds went. Since I am 110% sure this is a scam, I rather not find out by sending the scammer a test transaction.

If we got at least 1 transaction ID, then we can see where it goes forwarded (if it gets pooled together somewhere) and we can find out if more people actually sent money there. So if they actually sold all the tickets, the balances would show up.

However this is a very sleazy scam attempt and the OP does a horrible job at answering questions. Hopefully the red trust keeps away most new adopters from getting scammed.

We wont see even single transaction here IMO, I do believe all members in this forum are smart enough already. We/They wont spend any satoshi for this kind of lottery. In case there is someone share a transaction and we know where the transaction goes then I think the owner will say "every user has their own deposit address to buy the tickets and we do not collect it into one address"
It is hard to track IMO as I believe the owner is ready for this kind of situation already, if he is trusted person then he should have posted where he collect the money from the ticket sales.

Guess, we will witness the livestreaming of the lottery draw this 13th. I wonder if there are forum members who really participated in this lottery? Who are those people who bought his tickets? For sure, there are gullible people who sent btc to join this shady lottery contest. Is he going to show also the lambo? Let us see...
2880  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Current bounty campaigns that can make you rich? on: May 08, 2019, 11:54:21 PM
If your major aim is to get rich from all these bounties offered in this forum, then, I would say you are bound to deceive yourself with bunch of crap projects here. Many are offering thousands of dollars-worth of their tokens but very few can manage to be listed on exchanges. There's no short cut here and no one will really give you instant riches. Face the reality!
