Dragic is now officially with the Chicago Bulls. And with young Lonzo Ball and Coby White, that's a team that would probably not give Dragic enough playing time. Dragic will become a mentor in Chicago although they might need him on the floor during playoffs.
We are not sure though about the playing time. In Brooklyn Nets, he averages 25MPG even playing alongside Durant and Irving and the team is complete at any role and position. He even points out that he was suddenly put by the Nets on 30 minutes of playing time on his first game with the team after being inactive playing for 4 months. Maybe Chicago Bulls will have the same approach about Dragic's playing time. He is still considered one of the good veteran role players out there. Related story, Dragic has a good point during his Brookly Nets tenure. He said that the Brooklyn Nets are more focused on individual performance, main only on Durant and Irving, and not as a team. We can now conclude that most plays prioritized by the Nets last season are only designed for Irving and Durant. That will limit their role players' teammates to do their very best. Correct me but that isn't the definition of a team. Prioritizing on isolation plays and not on team strategy? Now we are seeing why they didn't even got a win against the Celtics last season and they got defeated by the Bucks 2 seasons ago. I don't know what's the problem with them. Is it the players? Is it their coach who technically is inexperienced or the management but overall, I don't like their style that they are more focused on individual performance rather than helping as a team. Just look at the Warriors. They have 4 titles all because of their chemistry and how they play as a team. Now with regards to Dragic, I believe that he will still be given near 20 MPG there and at the same time, he will help those young players to develop even further. They are the team that surprised me at the start of the season last year because of how good they are as a team and they even reached the top spot IIRC but because of injuries, they slowly fell down in the standings. I hope that they will not get injured this upcoming season (though it's inevitable) and their new players will help the team in their own way. |

Looks like Meralco really made the right adjustment, they were up by double digits early but now they are only up 3 points after the first half. What's important is they started strong, now, let's see if they will be able to carry that intensity in the 2nd half to even the series.
Most of their bigs are into foul trouble because of defending Junemar but they manage to get the victory in Game 2. They really made adjustments, and they are capable of defeating the SMB because in the 2 losses of SMB in the elimination, one of them came from Meralco and one from Ginebra, so you really know that they can do something to defeat the star-studded SMB team. Also the comeback of Coach Norman Black really boost up the morale of the whole team. Basketball is a chess game, so I expected some adjustments with the Bolts, and it worked to them. Getting the pace from the start really helped them because they dictate the pace from the start of the game and that helped them to gain the lead at the first, though the SMB really made some huge runs and took the lead at some point in the 2nd half. Let's see how will the SMB respond and what are their adjustments in Game 3 on Sunday. I didn't expect that Magnolia will almost loss this game, they allow TNT to have a good run, Williams with back to back 3 point shots and that made the game very close. Good thing Barroca was clutch, though he missed 1 of the 2 FT but they are already ahead and TNT can only bring the game to OT.
Great overall performance by Magnolia, Sanggalang and Barroca were the best contributers of this game.
From up to 19 points lead, the lead were down to only 2 points, it was really an entertaining game.
They almost lost the game if only Pogoy didn't step up the line in the final seconds of the game because after Kelly Williams' 3, the lead is only 2 and Pogoy managed to get a steal but unfortunately, he stepped on the line so overall, you know that if you are the Hotshots, you can't be overconfident even you have a huge lead because the TNT is also capable of make runs and make momentum shifts though they only came up short on this one and the game is tied with one a piece. That was an exciting match indeed because TNT manage to make a comeback after having as much as 19-point deficit. For sure, the Hotshots became nervous when the TNT is coming and chipping out their double-digit lead  . The Hotshots made an adjustment in defending Mikey Williams and it worked with them because he only scored I think only in single digits in the 1st half however, they didn't stop him completely especially in the 2nd half and still got 28 points. Let's also see how the TNT will respond in Game 3 but at least they know that they are capable of erasing huge leads already. |

What I'm reading about Howard right now is that he could be the Net's replacement for Drummond. He seems to be interested with the idea too but I think he just wants to land a team for next season and it doesn't matter if its the Nets or the Kings hehe. He's already looking for another career after NBA and he'll probably take another one-year min vet deal before calling it quits. That's plenty of time for him to get a new job.
Howard to the Kings . That's their first move this off-season if that happens. They are the most silent team right now and aside from that, I also read a post in Facebook telling that "The Kings are the only team who doesn't have any losses in the playoffs for the last 16 years." You know what it means right?  . Howard is a really good 2nd option as a defender and he has been a big help to the 2020 Lakers where they got a championship. I hope that there will be a team that will get him even for a veteran minimum deal. If the Nets will get him, I wonder who will be the starting center of the team because for sure Howard will not be their starting Center. Drummond is more agile than him and now that they will replace him and with Aldridge becoming a free agent, who will be the starting center of the Nets. |

Yesterday, my mom did a general cleaning on my room and when she's done, I saw the recovery phrase of my Trezor hardware wallet on the garbage can which I placed on my computer table, I also have that same copy on my wallet but still can't stop myself to tremble in fear to lose that piece of paper.
Too careless. First, you need to learn how to clean your own room (maybe you learned it now after you posted here  ). Your mother doesn't know what it is and she will just think that it is just another trash in your computer table thus, she threw it in a garbage an. You are careless because instead of putting it in somewhere else that is secured, you just put it in a computer table where anybody can just see it. What if there is somebody who knows about recovery phrases and he knows anything about hardware wallet? Your money will be gone completely because of how careless you are. I didn't told her about it to avoid more argument because she wouldn't still understand what it is. This is what I've been scared about when people say to write your recovery phrases on a piece of paper instead of storing it online.
That would be better because after all, she doesn't know about recovery phrases and if she knows it, for sure she will not throw it in a garbage can. I don't recommend writing it online either because what is the purpose of your hardware wallet being a hardware wallet if you will just write it online. Hackers can still get your recovery phrase if you make a single mistake on your computer that will cause hackers to have access to your own PC. I would like to know how others keep these secret phrases if the people in your house are not really knowledgeable in crypto. Would it be safe if I store it online but the file is encrypted and password protected?
I have many wallets that have seed phrases and I wrote every recovery phrase of every wallet thrice so I have 3 copies of each of the recovery phrase of each wallet. 1 of them is being stored in a locker where I only have the keys to open it, 1 is being stored in my physical wallet and the other one is being stored somewhere in our house that only me knows it (or maybe I will also tell it to somebody I trust the most when my time comes). I'm the only one who knows about crypto but I don't have any problems in terms of storing it since I always keep it safe and I'm not putting it into somewhere else that anybody can get it. Storing it online? I'm not doing it so I'm not recommending it. |

They surely have learned from their loss in game 1, they need to work together, they cannot rely on few players only as that's not what Magnolia was made of. I'm thinking maybe betting on them in the first half, they might start strong in game 2, I'm sure they are still listed as underdog.
Yes, still underdog, they really need to work as a team and try to play good defense too. With how dominating William in their last game the need of someone to step forward is really needed, I used to remember the old day when The Big 3 of Purefoods was still playing, King James and Peter Simon for their offensive attacks while Ping will take care of the boards and tough defense to any top scorer of the opposing side, He even take Jason Castro while the Blurr still on his prime. Though it's already a new system and the players are moving according to how the coach wants them to rotate, let's see if how they will counter TNT's attack and what will be the adjustment to win the game. Magnolia is still a decent team though, they were on a winning streak going to the quarter finals, so I'm sure they'll figure out something to win in game 2. Still +2.5 for Magnolia, I think the odds is very attractive knowing they needed to win to even the series if they lose, at least that +2.5 still has a chance. I can't consider Magnolia as a decent team only IMO but with their current roster, they are a championship team. Mental fatigue affected the Hotshots and also the Bolts that's why they lose by double digits against the top teams who has a longer time to rest. They played 3 hard-fought games against NLEX and Ginebra and only have a 1 or 2 day rest before going to Semis. Now we are in Game 2 and a must win for the Hotshots to make it even or else, it will be hard for them to win the series knowing it's the TNT that they are facing. Aside from that, they must find a way to at least decrease the efficiency of Mikey Williams offensively. I wonder who will Coach Victolero put to defend Williams. |

USDT Tether has been the the first stablecoin out there but throughout the years, it has been into many controversies that affected the trust of some people but even though Tether had those problems, many people and many exchanges are still using it alongside other stablecoins.
Will I put my money there? I don't think so because anytime, it might de-peg like what happened to UST. Maybe some will say that UST is different from other stablecoins for some reasons and that might be true but we don't know what can happen. Did we expect UST to be like what it currently is right now? We also saw USDT de-peg momentarily before going back to 1$. Overall, all people can trust any stablecoin out there but as for me, the 2 that I said is what I trust the most.

Harrell must be acquired by any team that needs a defender inside the paint. Let's not forget that he was performing well when he was in the Clippers and correct me but I think he also is a candidate for 6th man of the year. Unfortunately, the Lakers didn't gave him that much time and that affected his value and overall performance but I think he can still contribute to the team. Cousins played quite well in his stint with the Nuggets so maybe the Nuggets or other team might give him a veteran minimum deal. He is one of the most dominant big in the NBA but injuries got him and that affected his whole career. I also think he can still contribute to the team off the bench. I think the veteran experience of Anthony and Williams might help any young team out there so maybe some team can acquire them to a veteran minimum deal as well. |

I think they're going to have a hard time retaining their team for several years given the amount of stars they've brought in. The problem is that all their stars are second tier stars. I don't think they have a shot at winning a title with that roster. Maybe if they all get healthy next year and have career years, but how long do you honestly think someone like Kyle Lowry is going to be able to compete in the playoffs? This is why they'll probably be a top 3 seed in the east, but I'd be surprised if they make it out of the first round. They have too much depth and not enough MVP power.
It's Duncan Robinson, right? The weakest link with a contract so high they weren't unable to maximize his usage as a sharpshooter. I don't understand what Coach Spo planned on their last playoff run. He benched him so long that maybe he forgot to be a shooter, but I don't disagree with his terms, it's his defense that is lacking which they needed most against the Celtics. As title contender, I still believe they could go back there but the improvement of Herro and Robinson will be a crucial part of the next season. Because he is a liability inside the court. His lack of defensive abilities is worse that even though he is a three-point specialist, if he doesn't have a good night then he will just do basically nothing on the court. That is the reason why Coach Spo benched him for the majority of the playoffs, and he will only enter if either the lead is already high or if a core player of the team needs to have some rest, but TBH I'm still curious why the Heat really gave him that huge amount of money were in fact, he can only do nothing but to just shoot threes. He is a shooter, I agree, but not all the time is a good time for him and there will be bad nights for him. As for me, IMO they need to trade Robinson and get another player who is a defensive specialist off the bench. I agree with what @Ognasty said though that their all-stars are just a 2nd tier all-star but what's good in them is that, they built a chemistry, and they have a good coach that's why they are the top-seeded team last season but if you will ask me if they have a shot in a title, I agree that they don't have because they don't have enough pieces for them to win a title. |

To my surprise one of them was 20% in profit last time I checked ( after about a month ) the other one $50 in profit after one day. Not bad ! 20% in one day is high already but it is a memecoin and most of the memecoins have low market cap meaning it is more prone to pump and dump. But to be honest I don't think I would put any money on Doge or Shiba... they're already far too high in the rankings.. way... way higher than they deserve. I disagree, the best gains are made when you are holding Bitcoin for a long time . I'm a conservative person that's why I'd rather choose to invest into Bitcoin than investing in a memecoin. On the other hand we are the same that will not put any money into DOGE, Shiba or into any memecoins. A lot of supporters will sure put their best bet in this game because we all know that TNT are the defending champion last season but now is all Filipino I think Magnolia has a chance to beat their opponents. And as we saw their last match against NLEX Paul lee, jalalon and the rest of the team doing great and the last minute or last seconds of the fourth quarter lee releases a big shot and push to over time and then jalalon is doing it and win the game.
All 4 teams do have a share chance of winning the all-Filipino cup, but personally my pick is for SMB. JMF is on the mission and I will assume that he will do everything to fulfill that mission. He wants to share his success in terms of donation and with the squad they've got right now, they already have a good chemistry. Harizen's offer is really tempting but I can't/ I don't have that amount of spare so better to watch and enjoy instead of taking the risk  Looks like I found a SMB fan here . Anyway, SMB has been the All-Filipino Cup Champions for 6 straight seasons and JMF has been the MVP for 6 straight. For sure the Beermen are thirsty to get that title again and with their new line-up, they have a big chance to win the title. On the other hand, Magnolia also has chance as well because of how pesky their guards are and their full court defense that can be very annoying if your the opponent. Include Abueva as well and how he annoys the opposing team. Overall, they have a chance but they need to defeat the TNT first that has Mikey Williams and RR Pogoy. If they held their Bitcoins until now then they are f*cking rich right now. If they bought Bitcoin right from the start or even 2 years after it was created, they are still rich right now. That is if they are still holding Bitcoins until now. For sure, many here knows the person who dumped his hard drive in a dumpsite and that hard drive contains a private key that can open a wallet that holds 8000 Bitcoins. Probably there are some early adopters as well who just forgot their private keys for some reasons or the like.
No if they sold their Bitcoin holdings immediately. TBH, this is very subjective because not all early adopters did the same. Many choose to held, many choose to buy some things like Lazlo who bought a Pizza for 10000 BTC, many choose to sell for some reasons, many sold because they saw that their profits are good already.

Bam Adebayo shot 60.3% in the paint and had an effective field goal percentage of just 34.1% on shots from outside the paint. That was the fourth biggest differential among 258 players with at least 100 field goal attempts both in and outside the paint. This is what I want to see. Bam keeps on improving on his shots in and out of the paint. A chance they will be on top again when all are healthy. I just wish they won't make any big trades as their chemistry as a team is just Heat-ing up. Bam's efficiency inside the court continues to increase as years goes by and now he is the main big of the Heat and he contributes a lot to why they are at the top seed last season. The only problem that I see with the Heat right now is the consistency because most of them aren't consistent especially when it comes to playoffs. When they need them the most, that is the time where they are failing to contribute. I hope they will solve this with the help of experience and chemistry as well. Like you, I just hope that they will not trades that includes their core players like Bam or Butler or the chemistry might crumble. Just focus on their supporting players and please, I also want the Heat to trade Duncan Robinson. He is a useless player if his threes doesn't sink in because his defensive ability is an absolute sh*t and I know many will agree with me. I'm curious why the management gave him $90M if he plays like that. I believe that Curry would still be a great player if Kerr wasn't their coach.

Mark Jackson is the reason why Curry is playing like that. Curry is shooting threes more often even though Kerr isn't their coach at that time. It's just that he doesn't have enough experience and he is young at that time that's why they can't win titles. Now when Kerr took over the Warriors, he developed Curry way more and also Thompson and look where they are right now. Curry is a great player I also believe but I wonder how Curry is right now if the Warriors' coach is different and not Kerr. Will they still win titles? Yes because many people are being affected of gambling negatively. Yes there are some whose lives are changing just because of one lucky bet on different games but let's see how many people are losing because of gambling. Many people are losing in gambling and because of that, it affects their lives in a very bad way. I want gambling to be banned if only the governments will allow it but unfortunately, they don't want it.
On the other hand, I also say no because governments are earning huge money thru taxes to these gambling casinos and that helps stimulates the economy of the country. It helps the government build some infrastructures or help other people with the money. I don't also think that the government will allow these gambling casinos to be banned because they are benefitting on it.
TBH, this question is very subjective depending on the perspective of the person that will answer it. If you will ask a gambler who lose a lot of money in gambling then he/she will say yes for sure but if you will ask just some regular stranger out there who knows the benefits of gambling to a country then he/she will say no.
If I will pick one though, I would say no because of the benefits of it and I'm not gambling too much that's why it doesn't affect my life.

90's basketball is very physical, now it has evolved because a team who have great 3-point shooters will likely win the championship. Look at Stephen Curry, if he is not good at 3-point shooting, he will not become a great player, and also now, big men are already shooting 3's, we have good 3-point shooters like Jokic which is a good example.
Yes, and I believe this is the trend! It's normal for players' styles to change over time, just look at what basketball was like 40, 50 or 60 years ago. Nowadays, an important attribute is the 3-point shot, most players can shoot the 3-point shot (of course, some have a greater difficulty and others not so much). There are also unicorn players, who are basically big players (maybe over 6"-11' (211cm) or 7" (213cm), they are fast, versatile, have good ball handling, can shot short range, medium and long shots. distance, and who currently play as SF, PF or rarely as SG. Some of these examples are Durant, Antetokounmpo (even Kristaps Porzingis and Jokic I imagine could fit in that category) One player who has just been drafted to the NBA (OKC) and who I see has great promise and is also a unicorn is Chet Holmgren! I even imagine he could be an improved version of Durant, let's see how he will performs in the NBA. Durant is arguably one of the best players in the league when he is healthy. Chet hasn't stepped one foot in the NBA for a regular game. An improved version of possibly the best player in the game is a reach. I'd like to see how chet deals with big bodies in a thin frame, not many can pull it off. How Chet played in the Summer League will not be the same in the regular NBA season. Yes he is an athletic big and a good defender with his 7 feet height but like you said, his thin frame will be his weakness. How he will defend other bigs in the NBA like Giannis or Bam. I mean they are all-star player but there will be a time that he will defend these 2 and some other bigs out there. I hope that the Thunder management will address one or at least let him gain some weight because I'm afraid other players just bulldozed him in the paint and score. Overall, the Thunder roster is very young (I think one of the youngest players if not the youngest) and promising as well. Giddey, Shai and now Chet (an improved one) might carry the team to the playoffs if they develop more skills. |
