Mhh...I tried the node list from chainz but it needs to long to find any node for synchronization. Are there other nodes available? Add the node list from chainz? Twitter handles? New team BTCTalk YEs? Maybe I dunno trying to be to thorough..
What version of wallet are you using? 1.0.9 if you are not it wont sync at all.... But I use the Chainz Node List i get 10-12 connections...

Any progress with any projects?
Edit:
I do not have any updates, besides we have gained another country in the network! Sorry for the repetitive question just trying to keep us on the front page of the ANN forum.
Cheers!

Posted this on Startpeeps! Hello Startpeeps! I know this site is mainly for START but I would like to try and spread the word about #Orangecoin! I have a new Team and Dev, we have been working on Orangecoin behind the scenes for a few weeks now, and in the process we have reacquired the Reddit /r/Orangecoin, New wallet Version 1.0.9 with checkpoints in the chain (currently working on more functions). Orangecoin is a 100% Proof of Stake coin, as it is more than a year old with 283K blocks of transaction history. I am trying to again to reiterate spread the word about Orangecoin (OC) We are traded only as of now on Bittrex: https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-OC Here are a few links to check us out and Thank you in advance, as we in three short weeks have accomplished and overcame many many feats: BTCTalk ANN OP: (To be reacquired and updated with the most accurate information (In the works)) https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=581894.0 ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Feel free to stop in and do some light reading. Reddit: (Please subscribe!) https://reddit.com/r/Orangecoin Chain explorer/Market Infomation: (Look at the time frame when we got a hold of OC! We are serious) Chain Explorer: (Very useful information) https://chainz.cryptoid.info/oc/ Market cap Info: http://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/OrangeCoin/ If you have any questions FEEL FREE TO ASK! I was always told the dumbest question is the one NOT asked, and the worst thing they can say is "NO." Cheers! -Raven Follow me on Twitter @rfarrow7886

"Unless the OP of the old thread agrees, it can't be locked or edited unless it breaks the forum's rules." Bet you can figure out what this is from.
XT.... I BROKE THE RULES.Will we be monitoring both of these threads then? Ha I remember this: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2F247cryptonews.com%2Fwp-content%2Fuploads%2F2014%2F06%2Forangecoin-juicyfeatures1.png&t=663&c=jApKThiIW1QUCw)

So it seems even though that the original use has not logged on for over a year we have to start a new OP: This is what I got from Mprep which apparently people DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW IMPORTANT THE ORIGINAL OP IS!!!!!!! Consent my ass.... Sorry, between Theymos and the XT fiasco, I am almost done with these mods........ Hello Mprep,
We have a new team and a new DEV for Orangecoin (OC). And WE NEED ACCESS TO OP!!!! Can you help me out with this? Can you give permissions to edit the OP at least maybe, or reset the account associated with the OP (Orangecoin) as it has not been active for almost a year now, so we can have ACCURATE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR PRODUCT Please?! Any information or point in the right direction would be GREAT and VERY Helpful!
Thanks in advance!
Cheers!
-Raven
Unless the OP agrees, then the thread stays his. He/she has not been active for over a year. Isn't there an override based on that? Can you bring this up with Theymos??? Please. We are taking the measures to acquire the OP in a proper manner but to no avail no response, non existent addresses... Wall after wall. Thank you in advance again! Cheers! -Raven It's his thread, there's no override without his consent. FIRE IT UP NEW OP! I'd say move it to cryptocointalk..... They have a much MUCH better administration team.... but that's MHO Cheers! -Raven

I got a response from mprep: "Unless the OP agrees, then the thread stays his." Well, we can't get the OP to agree, so we must make a new thread. Our decision has been made for us. But now we know. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I asked him to push this to Theymos..... This is absurd. Non active account for more than a year, we should be able to get access....

All current, relevant progress of this coin starts on page 151 of this thread. Check this link below for soopy's introduction to ORANGECOIN: Hello All,
First of all thank you Halofire for introducing me to the community and for the warm welcome to your home.
Nice Find John! You just made Halo Happy!

Hi ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) what are the features of the 'new' Orangecoin? So Far we have Checkpoints in the chain to make sure it keeps moving with our Proof of Stake far as I know updated wallet versions from the OLD OLD 1.0.4 to 1.0.9; MAYBE GREEDYJOHN Can give us insight.....! Halo as well? As well there are several pages of light reading for information. Thank you for your interest in OC! Cheers! -Raven I forget what was done in what versions, was too many released in a short time but here's the gist. checkpoints were added in 1.0.5 along with seed nodes. error message from 1.0.4 was addressed about old checkpoints. 1.0.6 ?? slow syncing was attempted to be fixed, I think that was for 1.0.6. Not sure. Didn't work anyway. 1.0.7 ?? 1.0.8 and 1.0.9 was the stuck block problem from the yearly block height(count) of block 262799 into 262800. Something was wrong with 1.0.8, so 1.0.9 was released like 15-30? minutes later. Soopy would be the one to write about this in more detail, but I can look them up later. I haven't been keeping track of all the releases and what they entailed, I was leaving it as a to-do when I made the new OP as part of the timeline. I have an idea where all of the releases are on what pages, but I am going to be leaving my apartment soon. My to-do in order of: look up wallet releases double check PoS payout % when fund stakes work on website; including forum research for the website create OP/timeline when time is right Things I'm delgating, PM me or publicly post for details: Supernet radio interview Anything else I should be doing? Have fun HALO what what WE ALL should be doing! Great list: My to-do follows: -Keep up with trending information in regards to OC (Here to post on Reddit & Twitter: @rfarrow7886) -Keep trying to reacquire original OC accounts and update as necessary -Make sure "coinwatch sites" are up to date with new sites and links (I have updated 2-3) -Find advertisement for OC (IN the talks as I type this) If I can provide another hand with something let me know team! Cheers! Keep up the great work we are all doing! -Raven
