We are officially a global network: 11 Countries across the globe. Any news on yesterdays events? Any fixes? I noticed the chain over at chainz hasn't moved for ten hours... I am at work currently so I cannot check my node unfortunately.
Cheers!

Btw guys I m going through all your messages on the thread and the one's and on pm.
How are we holding?
I will work on the issues at hand.
Warm Regards, ~SoopY~
Hello Soop! We're having: Competing chains due to same protocol different clients/checkpoints. I sent halo some debug clips from various scenarios, building bootstrap, syncing from scratch, copying saved chain. I had a scare with the runtime and constantly terminating , I fixed it... It was an error in the config file. Dummy me. Sorry for the bombardment earlier, just trying to obtain as much info as possible. Cheers! -Raven

Stuck on 272699 from bootstrap. My head hurts! Edit: it jumped 100
|
|
|
Got past 262799 with the bootstrap, but with the previous version (2.0 did not get past it)
Now trying to switch to 2.0... It's getting stuck :/
Also the July fix seems to have been reverted in 2.0 with a "version bump" comment, alongside actual version bump commits, could that be the bug?
So Halo, back to our version block conversation. Fairglu, I had a feeling there was something wrong, I could close it, open it and the wallet would sync but, then program not responding constantly once I got green checkmark...

I'm still at 177000, syncing. I used the 286kzip Need a link to my drop box?

I've tried copying that file before in the past and didn't work. Maybe my wallet was on when I copied it? Idk. I'm working on it, it's syncing now from scratch with the copied file. Hope this works for them.
That command work? Or is that what you mean, testing it? Testing was meant as in successfully syncing or starting to sync. The bootstrap actually helps sync faster, probably due the wallet to knowing what blocks to sync to. It still syncs for 500 blocks at a clip, but it doesn't hang up as long. The wallet isn't fully synced but it's going and is currently at 58500. Since it IS working, I gave the bootstrap to richie and fairglu in a PM, if they wanted to get a jump on things. It's posted on the website, but until they confirm it fully works for them as this is my first bootstrap, I'm not releasing the link yet. I took down the latest blockchain download as well. OK ok, Secco @BTCGarden said it downloads very quickly but then stops. So.. Would it still be a bootstrap issue? Also we have noticed out of the "good IPs" 93.123.163.96:18872 is on OrangeCoin:1.0.9........ UPDATE YOUR WALLET!!!!! Can we Ban this node temporarily in the conf? Also I just had him to connect to my node only he's getting 4 connections.... Weird. But these IPs are connected: 50.188.13.41:18872 / 149.202.102.73:18872 / 75.130.163.51:18872 / 93.123.163.96:18872 Edit: Maybe i should take down my node? since these weird connections are there? Consensus? We need all clients to get updated. The longer they don't update, the longer we remain forked. Wonder if soopy if puts in a version ban, if that would work? There's not much more I can do except try to get everyone on 2.0.0 and on the same nodes on the moving chain. Leave your node up for now. I thought we had version ban implemented..... from 1.0.9

I have to open and close my wallet regularly. I am currently on block 288312
Are you using only these nodes: addnode=orangecoinseednode1.no-ip.org addnode=orangecoinseednode2.no-ip.org addnode=orangecoinseednode3.no-ip.org addnode=orangecoinseednode4.no-ip.org addnode=orangecoinseednode5.no-ip.org 75.130.163.51:18872 92.19.22.234:18872 50.188.13.41:18872 149.202.102.73:18872

I am getting the following error (Ubuntu 14) ************************ EXCEPTION: St13runtime_error CDB() : can't open database file blkindex.dat, error 22 OrangeCoin in AppInit()
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::runtime_error' what(): CDB() : can't open database file blkindex.dat, error 22
I am now trying to connect only to the seed nodes in your conf for a full resynch, but they do not seem to be responding (with a connect= to them, I get zero connections) Is this with using the 288k blockchain download? Yes. I have found a couple of nodes that work, and set the explorer wallet to "connect" only them (those in then 288k conf do not respond). Height 27k now :/ I think I left my wallet running when I made the download. please hold. Can you create an actual bootstrap? I'm not sure your DB is portable... the previous snapshot wouldn't load in our configuration. thanks, richie@bittrex Sorry, like I said. I've tried to make it in the past and it didn't work. Maybe I was doing something wrong. That is definitely a possibility. Perhaps Soopy can make this for us. I've PM'd him. Or if someone can post instructions on this. Thanks. http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/23074/how-to-create-a-bootstrap-dat-file Best bet i found it in regards to doge but... Since van der Woerdt's answer in first question you link to indicates you can simply concatenate the blk files, you can open a DOS window (if your using windows), then type CD C:\Users\<my_user>\AppData\Roaming\DogeCoin (if you're on Win7+) And then COPY /b blk0001.dat+blk0002.dat bootstrap.dat And that would be it! That's what I thought, but we don't have any other blk0002 or so on. So would it be the first blk0001.dat only? If that's all we have then yes.

Alright, what block is everyone on?
Here's mine: I'm on 288271. I am 100% synced with 4 connections, 1 of which is a 1.0.9. (Edit: Past good nodes known:) 75.130.163.51:18872 92.19.22.234:18872 50.188.13.41:18872 149.202.102.73:18872
I RE-ITERATE: EVERYONE NEEDS TO UPDATE THEIR OC WALLET TO 2.0.0!
What is everyone else's stats?
I'm ready to go with the blockchain download.
At posting I'm on block 288275 and my IP address is one of the four listed above so I'm good to go on wallet 2.0.0 As am I, I am on the list.

WE ALREADY HAVE 80 VIEWS AT BTCGARDEN!!!!!!!!
And Secco had an old wallet!!!! Another connection!
Edit:
Chainz list of 2.0 nodes:
addnode=107.136.113.252 addnode=108.251.44.118 addnode=137.135.57.119 addnode=167.114.27.242 addnode=174.2.194.186 addnode=182.161.0.5 addnode=182.161.9.244 addnode=207.192.254.156 addnode=5.196.109.69 addnode=50.188.13.41 addnode=69.204.247.90 addnode=75.130.163.51 addnode=88.217.180.107 addnode=92.19.22.234
Chainz list of nodes is on a stuck chain. We are way past that block count, besides they were re-syncing the blockchain last I knew as of yesterday. They were having a slow time syncing, as seen in my twitter convo. I have not heard if they are finished. Current block: 287897 Chainz's current block: 286784, over 1000 blocks behind. I suggest using only these nodes: 75.130.163.51:18872 92.19.22.234:18872 50.188.13.41:18872 149.202.102.73:18872 Yes they are on the chainz list, BUT that list is for nodes seen in the last 24 hours and if chainz is resyncing, the data reflected on the website may be off. Addition: these 4 nodes are on the chain that's moving. Only two are active right now. We need to keep wallets online AND on the same nodes during this phase. Well I got excited for no reason then.. I was wondering why I had a tough time syncing after adding chainz' nodes. But all is well now! I got a tweet from chainz this morning saying they updated links. Which is nice. No, they are still having sync issues. They only updated the bct link as you asked them to do. I saw the tweet earlier. Yes, sorry Toooooo early, Had to come in to work to do inventory @ 6am YUCK. But that IS what I ment, I updated nodes list from your List

I like how the videos show the "preview" imbeded directly to the site. Alter the line of bbc code "New to crypto or Orangecoin?" that's next to the first video. It should go on top of the video. Just so you know: I reserved the second post here in case I wanted to use it for dev fund accounting. Idk yet. As did I Just incase As for the video formatting, I like it. I have made a few changes to the code there for spacing and what not. Check it out Halo now does it look good? Also Secco over at BTCGarden ( http://bitcoingarden.tk/) Is an AWESOME MOD took care of everything QUICKLY! I LOVE LOVE LOVE THAT! Cheers! -Raven EDIT: THEY HAVE A LIVE CHATROOM/Trollbox! AWE MAN! BIG TIMES ARE UPON US! Layout is good now. I like your "nodes link" you added. I will update the OP to include the node link and link to this new forum. You should link to our OP here also, put it under Orange Services after " http://worldcoinindex.com/coin/Orangecoin Price Index" and label as "Additional Forum". I will do the same in the same spot. Addition: Take "op access" off our names under "meet the team", please and thank you. On it.
