the first thing that a local bitcoin exchange business needs is customers. and as long as i can't find enough people around me who know about bitcoin i don't think that is such a good idea.

apart from that, if there is enough people interested in using such service and i can get over the regulations and also the initial capital needed for starting it, i don't really see any other obstacle and i will surely do it.

it is funny how nobody is talking about Ethereum these days, there are zero topics anywhere. most probably because of the constant decline that has caused a 23% fall in the past week and a 35% fall in the last month. and price is still going down.

it is too soon in my opinion to think about picking anything up. most of them are still falling especially those top coins which were in a big bubble.

not everyone is like this. many have started using bitcoin just because they understood what bitcoin really is at heart and they use it as a currency.

what you said is sadly what most people are seeing bitcoin especially these days and that comes from other old users only saying bitcoin is an investment and saying things like to the moon a lot when they explain about bitcoin to a new user.

the first problem here that i think is the biggest mistake that anybody can make in investing bitcoin is that you are looking into something called "investment companies".
that is simply nonsense because there is no such thing called investment company in bitcoin and if there were they wouldn't be accepting tiny investors. they are all ponzi schemes.

instead you should look into investing in "companies" or better said businesses that are working a real job or offer a service.

serious altcoin traders are mostly trading on poloniex, and those who don't like poloniex are trading on bittrex since it is the next best thing that has that many altcoins listed but there are other good places like btc-e and c-cex.

the rest are mostly for fun with lots of problems, and i don't really understand what it is the support that yobit is getting around here it is really not a god place!

i think the simplest way is to show them how they can use bitcoin to purchase something.

for example if there is like a coffee shop, a restaurant a food truck even that accepts bitcoin you can take them there and pay for a cup of coffee for example and show them that "this is the value this none-physical money has"
