Ehhhh ...
Fratello, sì penso che sia molto troppo forte per utilizzare 'truffa' la parola.
Credo che tutto si risolverà per voi. Forse avere pazienza con il Mt.Gox business. Sono molto affidabile credo.

And Cdecker could definitely be considered an expert user. Although maybe not in the area of security. But maybe he has expert level security knowledge but was just complacent and careless. Either way, I feel very bad for him and it is is a very unfortunate incident.
Last year it was widely reported that a user lost 25,000 BTC to a 'hacker'. I believe he posts, or used to post here on bitcointalk.
One interesting tidbit is that Cdecker was using Linux. I wonder if this is the first publicly reported case of theft of a Linux user.
Not that I'm trying to imply Linux distros are inherently safe 'out-of-the-box' or anything, but maybe a lot of people assume that they are immune just by installing the latest Ubuntu. I think it ended up being an issue with him using SSH though, so not directly a Linux issue.
Maybe using Linux is effectively safe though with regards to using a mainstream distro and bitcoin-qt? Not installing any additional packages, encrypting your wallet, and not having anything to do with remote access is good enough to keep secure, or not? I'd be interested to hear peoples opinions on that.

I don't know if this has been covered at all, but could you explain your avatar? It looks like a head trying to eat it's own body, but I'm not sure.
What's the story with that?

How do you mine Litecoins with GPUs? Which software do you use? edit: (I need one for Windoze)
cgminer

Also, if you are RealSolid, I don't think you should hide that fact. You should be open about it and explain why things are different this time. I'd rather know that and be able to see how things have changed, and hear you explain how you learned from the previous failures.

PS At the moment I do not wish to answer questions related to my identity/privacy. So I will ignore all such questions for now.
I got to admit, as a person who's just recently become interested in these alternative currencies, it seems every thread I've read on here has made me weary of PPCoin. I think a simple confirm or deny regarding the question of being RealSolid would have been a lot better than this answer. I mean, I respect your desire for anonymity as much as anyone here, but I think it's reasonable to expect an answer to this question. And yes, I can tell that there are many people here who are critical of you and your project, but I would hope that at some point instead of just being defensive and dismissive, you could address peoples concerns. Especially the technical criticisms that people have been bringing up. If you really believe that the work you have done has the potential to be embraced by the public and used as a currency, you would think that a couple of people on a message board 'attacking' you or acting 'immature' would not stop you from defending your project. At this point a random person who reads a few threads here might conclude that it's just another 'scamcoin', but I think if it was a scam the PPCoin people would be doing a much better job at least trying to convince people that it is legit. So at this point I don't even know what to think.

And if so why do you think that is? What causes demand to go up? Supply stays more or less consistent from mining until the reward is halved. So I'm a little unclear on this.

Just how crazy is it going to get? Anyone starting early on the Litecoin switch over?
Anyone just throwing in the towel and selling off all the gear?
I'm really curious as to what everyone plans. This last part of 2012 is going to be really interesting.

Now that LTC is blowing up and the difficulty is growing like crazy(and if history is a good indicator, the price as well), I'd like to know where people are putting their money. And what the alternatives are in our post-GLBSE world in terms of exchanges.
Also, since it looks like all the GPU farms are going to be slowly switching over to LTC mining to continue profitability, if any one can make some recommendations of productive ex-BTC miners moving over to LTC who offer shares/bonds that would be great.
Thanks

Most the complaints about PPC are from smoothie, and dice/greedi. All well known LTC speculators.

The thing is, at this point Litecoin actually looks like a credible alternative currency to use along side Bitcoin. It's similar enough that people don't really have to think about it too much, and it has the added benefit of faster confirmations.
And I say this currently owning 0 Litecoins. But I think there is a demand, and probably a growing demand, for a reasonable alternative/complimentary currency to Bitcoin.
The onus is on PPCoin supporters to demonstrate why they think it is a superior choice. Because at this point Litecoin doesn't look like it's going anywhere. And all the criticism towards PPCoin does not seem too out of line from an outside perspective.

Interessante.
