2901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 04, 2021, 08:19:37 AM

Just not enough for SMB although they have a huge run in the 4th quarter. Anyway, it's just one game, regardless of the total points the TNT won, they are happy now but SMB will not allow them to win easily, so expect a good game 2 game for the SMB,  and hopefully the refs will come to play as well.
Only point away not bad for both teams, they show fans how competition really is when facing the same level of competitor. I like the idea of using the old squad the blend really there. The veteran stars get to play longer time and only Romeo and Perez shared some minutes, a battle of good coaching strategy and the system that will engage each player inside the court.

This series is more interesting as it's a just like playing the finals and you are really fighting hard to win the title.

Game 2 will be another hard time for both squad, as one will want to have a good edge while the other team will try to tie the series up and make sure that they won't be left with a huge gap..
Romeo has still not exploded, maybe not 100% yet but I have a feeling once he starts finding his rhythm, he will lead the SMB to win.

There's no schedule yet for the next game, good for them as they can relax as this is probably a long series that both teams will adjust in order to win.
Next game is a win for SMB and probably Meralco on the other match up, that would make the series both tide at 1-1.
2902  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin have any real value? on: October 03, 2021, 10:54:26 PM
Bitcoin is not backed by any physical asset like Gold nor by any fiat currency. It makes me wonder if I should invest/trade in Bitcoin or not?

Although Bitcoin has no fixed value like Gold but even then I think bitcoin is an asset. Because, Bitcoin is used all over the world. Bitcoin has value and it has demand. It also has supply. So i think Bitcoin is an asset. I am using it as an asset.
It's very interesting, we have some long talks about this, but it's not going to end in near future because most of the peoples never try to study and understand what is this. If someone uses mind then surely first he needed to have all knowledge about this and then post because it's very clearly thing bitcoin is cryptographic electronic currency which is backed by world community, and it's not needed any other back up.
Well, I can't blame them for why they ask as they wanted to have the knowledge and to clear their doubts as well but this can't just eliminate until trust has been gained. That for sure OP wanted to know why Bitcoin as a digital currency gains such impressing price improvement unlike real asset (gold).

Quote
Just like any other fiat currency or metal asset it's also in use and now big community is behind this all adoption is happening around the world because now those understanding are trying to have this in use case.
The use of Bitcoin is just optional, the majority are still not convinced to use this as it was because establishments are not yet accepting this as a form of payment. That makes them wonder why it goes like that since the application wasn't so high as they see. Yes, they couldn't until such time that they will try.
2903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Zimbabwe minister urges citizens to embrace Bitcoin on: October 03, 2021, 12:41:07 PM
Many countries struggle with poverty, a quickly devaluing national currency & crime. Bitcoin will save them & make them prosperous, thriving countries. So many of the bad things in the world will be saved by adopting bitcoin. Bitcoin = No War.
I haven't thought Bitcoin to be the world's deliverance of all conditions affecting the world like a chronic disease, if so zimbabwe or anything under developed countries government adopts Bitcoin/crypto-currency I don't think their economy/poverty level will change if the government don't end corrupt practices/embezzlement, Bitcoin won't end that, I have adopted crypto-currency personally, but I don't think I will be better financially if I don't work, digital asset isn't going to make the world prosperous if all the decadence of the world continues.
That is also what I've thought. May this create an opportunity for them but I don't know if this could attract interest knowing that they are facing an economic crisis. What I think is for their minister to address corruption first and then change the system this seems it build strong adoption but if they don't, this will never works. In fact, develop countries has been in the hard time urging their people to adoption, how much more for this country.
2904  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 03, 2021, 11:51:27 AM
Game 2 for TNT vs SMB, I'm going hard for SMB, no brainer, they have to win.
Easy, they can't afford to go down 0-2 as next to that is 0-3 and they'll likely not gonna come back anymore, I think no team has ever come back from that deficit in the PBA. I'm wondering now what would be the odds for game 2 between SMB and TNT now that SMB is in a must-win situation, probably they'll be the favorites in game 2? what do you think?

I'm willing to risk at least 0.003 BTC for the series game, and my bet is SMB to win the series.

Just send me a PM or post it here.
Is this still open? Grin
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: October 03, 2021, 11:04:23 AM
Triller must have paid a substantial amount to Lopez and  Kambosos to move this fight, might not profit from this promotion I think.

Quote
Triller Fight Club wants to move the event from Oct. 4 to Oct. 16, but Kambosos believes the promoter should be removed from the bout

That's the result of bad promotion and since this fight was previously cancelled, then probably people lose interest to this fight and instead book a ticket on the other fight for their budget, that's the mistake Lopez made because he wasn't careful and he got infected with covid-19, not sure if it's true or just an excuse though.
2906  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: feel like never wanting to use crypto again on: October 03, 2021, 10:26:54 AM
You not ready faced what happen in cryptocurrency and I think the same happening when you invested with real project or invested on real estate, when you loss not any words again to wake up and give up is your only option. I don't remember how many time I loss in cryptocurrency and how much money gone when trading spot or future but keep trade and learn which one mistake I made for the future is better and get profit more than I lost.

Investing in crypto is indeed a very high risk, so it is natural that if we do not have enough knowledge and experience,  we will experience losses
several times. If someone experiences a loss when investing in crypto and then gives up and doesn't want to try again, means that the person
does not understand crypto. Because people who already know how to work in the crypto world, will always learn from the losses experienced
and correct any mistakes made, until success is achieved. Sometimes it takes a lot of effort to be successful in the crypto world.
Some people easily get mad when experiencing difficulties and losses, they simply don't understand how crypto works because in their perceptions is that they can make money quickly. I don't think it is wrong with the market but it was clearly our fault for entering the market without knowing anything.
Obviously, it is really risky and that is why having a deep knowledge about crypto is highly important otherwise, losses are certainly what we get.
2907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Gas Fee is too High? on: October 02, 2021, 10:38:20 PM
First, is the short-term crypto market crash as the price falls causing investors to make a lot of transactions on decentralized trading platforms causing GAS to increase in price. and If high gas fees still shock you then you are probably a crypto newbie this always happens when prices go up, if you see the market is all green then you may also encounter high fees , the number of users can also affect gas fees, the higher the user, the higher the transaction. I have been trading in crypto platform for many years so I feel this is very normal.
Honestly, we've been in this situation for quite a long time and there are no changes happen as we expecting to lower the gas fee after the fork but unfortunately, it remains high which is not really acceptable. I feel the sentiment of the people, for bounty hunters, and for the investors as well. And to move their coins to their controlled wallet or even converted to their preferred coins is not easy and they need to pay a few bucks.
May the increase of the number of transactions affecting the fees but supposedly this won't happen all the time, however, the fees become consistently high which feels no good at all.
2908  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 02, 2021, 08:45:05 PM

This is why I believe Luka needs another person to help him, a true star, a star that we could basically consider if Luka should take a back seat, which is very few. In that case Dallas could win something, they need to build a roster around Luka that is good enough, if not then they will just spend Lukas career for nothing.

That would only be realized if they will trade KP, his value will get Mavericks a good player in return, and that could help Luka with a mentality to win, stats doesn't win a championship although KP has it he doesn't have a mentality of a real star. With KP remains in the lineup, I don't expect the Mavericks will be a championship contender.
2909  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [ BOXING POLL ADDED ]: Fury vs Wilder III - THE TRILOGY IS BACK ON !!! on: October 02, 2021, 08:18:55 PM

Do you think Wilder will have a new costume during walkout or will have a robe only?

Lets imagine Wilder looses - will he retire after two straight losses or no?

On same event, Efe Ajagba   vs. Cuba Frank Sánchez ( WBO-NABO champion) fight is going to take a place. Strange that no one discuss that (maybe because  WBO-NABO is a crap? huh). If a Wilder vs Fury winner will be fresh enough, he could fight Ajagba vs Sanches winner and take a belt as they are also heavyweights Cheesy
I think they get paid to wear silly costumes and Wilder was making excuses last fight and I  do not expect him to be the type of person to reject money for wearing a costume for entering the ring. I  do not think he will retire he will go back to beating bums in America and avoid the other bigger fighters in the division. A Joshua v Wilder fight could be entertaining I just think Wilder will not want to fight him after losing to Fury 2 times because he will start doubting his ability unless he continues to be delusional but I think another loss should humble him.
If he lost again on Fury then i dont see that he would really make out some excuses again and also if he loses against AJ then for sure that will really make out some impact when it comes to psychological aspect.

You would really have doubts about your capability in this boxing world whenever you do commit or experience out consecutive losses. When it comes to those getting paid kind of set up

then i wont really be that surprised neither they would done it or not because each person does have their dignity on various things.

This trilogy is not supposed to happen because fans were already convinced that Fury clearly won the fight, even on the controversial draw in their first fight. But due to the contract, they should follow and it should not be a problem for Fury to prove that he is the better fighter again as he is sure the better fight and could still get the some outcome in their last fight, that is provided he doesn't stop training and maintains his fitness.
2910  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn Merits? on: October 02, 2021, 02:54:52 PM
You don't need to ask this in the first place and instead of asking about how to earn merits? I believe you should also explore the forum and besides, this has been asked multiple times and the answer is can be found in the forum as well. But I think this has become important to us now, maybe to rank up but the most important is we are learning here which we can share with others to those who have misunderstood crypto and those who think negatively.
Merits will come momentarily even without asking it.
2911  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Looking to buy 100k worth of btc. on: October 02, 2021, 02:22:00 PM
Hi, looking to buy BTC.
100k worth of BTC and a 15% above market rate premium because I need it ASAP.
I think you need a friend to deal you with that amount or try to use P2P. Because you can never find it ASAP in here, honestly. And as you can read that most of the replies are something in doubt with you, trust is hard to get especially when dealing online that is why I suggesting to call your friend first before bringing it here. Maybe they have some interest or I'm afraid if they will decline your offer the same thing you've heard from us.
I'm not thinking of a scam scenario but I was thinking of the risk. Yeah, that certainly it looks like. Well, I hope someone could get it and won't regret it.
2912  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't miss this opportunity to buy and hold BNB on: October 01, 2021, 11:46:27 PM
I started to buy and accumulate BNB since last year, but I really miss the chance when it was at around $10. The growth of BNB seems remarkable and really unexpected, and a lot of people underestimate this project before. Now, that it gains such market value, people get started to increase their funds into BNB and many ETH users are also switching to this platform.
With this impressive performance of BNB, I doubted if we have to decline such an opportunity but rather to invest more for long-term.
2913  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The risks of using Bitcoin on: October 01, 2021, 11:18:27 PM
The risk of money laundering is what makes me cringe at how damaging it can be.

Money laundering has already existed before Bitcoin, which comes with fiat? Maybe you will say that it has become rampant to such illegal activities since we can easily transfer BTC to the other without a trace from the authorities, I have to agree with that. And this is why some country leaders think that Bitcoin gives way to illegalities than helping the community. But the fact that there are several ways to make this money laundering, definitely we don't have the reason to totally put blame on Bitcoin.
2914  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 01, 2021, 01:45:54 PM
So it's offical, we are now in the Semi Finals round.

Anjo Caram delivers big blows as Meralco sends NLEX packing

It will be;

Talk and Text vs San Miguel Beerman (best of 7)
Magnolia Hotspts vs Meralco Bolts (best of )

To make it short, it's Cojuangco vs Pangilinan.

So if we like to see real competition in the finals, one team from Cojuagco and Pangilinan should advance.
2915  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: October 01, 2021, 01:24:45 PM
i believe theyd regret not pushing for their match. its not casimero thats interested.

Donaire will regret it because he was the one who cool off the fight, it was supposed to happen this year but suddenly Donaire cancelled the fight because he doesn't like the trash talk of Casimero, that was below the belt and even his wife (which is his manager as well) was disrespected.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cheapest Way To Withdraw From Binance Account? on: September 30, 2021, 11:43:30 PM
You've got beaten actually with fees but that is how it works this time and the fees will also increase once the demand is high.
What I did was just save a few bucks, I converted it XRP as my receiving wallet (third-party) support XRP, and I just only pay below $1. But I'm not sure if this will work on you. If this is not applicable in your country, I think you should have to accumulate more, having $1000 worth of Bitcoin for withdrawal and just pay for $10 or less, I guess it was not hurt anymore.
2917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 30, 2021, 11:39:23 AM
Nice win, SMB managed to cover that handicap. CJ Perez lead SMB in scoring. He got 21 points and really help the team to take that edge.

While everyone really plays their roles and they win the game as a team, fair shared with all the stats a very nice effort
as a team.

SMB swept NP and now moving to the semis, are they going to face TNT?

Yup, they are going to face the number one team in the elimination round which is the TNT Katropa.

Congrats also to NorthPort for playing a very good game, it was not a walk in the park for the Beermen and they give SMB one hell of a fight. If their roster remains the same and they got a quality import next conference then NorthPort is a team to beat soon.

IMO, this series between SMB and TNT is the championship series of the conference as whoever wins this one will be the eventual AFC champion  Smiley.

The winner of that series is hard to predict, but I would go with the SMB as they have proven many times that they can win and had a lot of championships playing together, I mean, the most important players are still here although they are getting older a bit.

By the way, is this series a best of 7 or 5 only?
2918  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 30, 2021, 10:55:39 AM
Houston has Jalen Green though, been watching the kid's clips on YouTube ever since, if he stays healthy and consistent, he has the potential to bring Houston in a better position (not sure in the playoffs though, he's still a rookie),
A rookie that would lead a team, that's unlikely but if they don't have any option, then probably we will see him getting more minutes and though the Rockets would not be in the playoffs (I presume), I think the kid will have an impressive rookie season which is enough for him to build a good stats for a better contract in the future.

He needs to be something special to lead a team, but we have seen it in recent years wherein a rookie carried a team, Ja Morant is a prime example.

So hopefully, (I'm a fan of Jalen btw), we can see his talent in Houston and win the rookie of the year. And who knows, maybe someone can Houston can complement his style of basketball an at least improve their standing post-Harden.

I'm a fan of Jalen also because he represents our country, so I will support him although I did not follow his NCAA journey. This is his time to shine as the rockets does not have enough superstar talents, now, so I'm rooting for him to have the best season of his career, and counting to win the ROY as well.
2919  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: No late commer in cryptocurrency on: September 30, 2021, 09:52:03 AM
We all tend to get shortsighted when we get into the crypto bubble and fail to look at the big picture sometimes. The fact of the matter is that we all are not čate, we are actuaččystill super early in all of this. Late to getting rich by investing just 100$?

Yep, if they see the trend of the prediction line, those who say it's too late because the price is already expensive are wrong. Currently crypto is developing, the opportunity to improve the welfare of life through crypto is still open. They only learn enough by taking advantage of the moment, because it is this volatility of values that we use to make a profit. Crypto will always be open to the public, as long as there are no rules and laws that prohibit it from being used.
It has been common to think like that as they come late but that is not the fact who comes first or who comes late as this matters on the individual strategies. Maybe we could think that they have the chance to get Bitcoin at a cheaper price 10 years ago but are they hold them until today? It could be a big question but I don't think they still have them, it probably the sell them 10 years ago as well.
It is definitely doesn't matter on the time but it all matters on your strategies.
2920  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Crypto dip today on: September 29, 2021, 03:02:47 PM
Great news for fiat holders right now. It's his time to enter the market at a price that already has a discount. Usually within a week we've seen prices go up. Always monitor the movement of bitcoin. Because the candle with altcoins is almost the same.
Unless if they have the courage to risk their money for a volatile market, then they got the chance but are not sure if they will be able to hold it when prices keep moving down or they be in panic selling. That seems it brings worse on the market rather than saving it from getting into the dip.
This will be great news for those who were waiting for the market to drop but this is bad news for those who bought crypto during the surge.

May we think this is not new to the market but still there are a lot of people been asking and worried. And this will simply mean that not all are prepared, they lack trust and so they think negatively once there is a price fall.
