Houston has Jalen Green though, been watching the kid's clips on YouTube ever since, if he stays healthy and consistent, he has the potential to bring Houston in a better position (not sure in the playoffs though, he's still a rookie),

A rookie that would lead a team, that's unlikely but if they don't have any option, then probably we will see him getting more minutes and though the Rockets would not be in the playoffs (I presume), I think the kid will have an impressive rookie season which is enough for him to build a good stats for a better contract in the future.

He needs to be something special to lead a team, but we have seen it in recent years wherein a rookie carried a team, Ja Morant is a prime example.

So hopefully, (I'm a fan of Jalen btw), we can see his talent in Houston and win the rookie of the year. And who knows, maybe someone can Houston can complement his style of basketball an at least improve their standing post-Harden.

I'm a fan of Jalen also because he represents our country, so I will support him although I did not follow his NCAA journey. This is his time to shine as the rockets does not have enough superstar talents, now, so I'm rooting for him to have the best season of his career, and counting to win the ROY as well.

In my opinion, I believe they could change Ariza, put Melo (SF) maybe.

Nah, Carmelo isn't a good starter for this Laker first five. I'd rather like to see Dwight starting at the Center than Davis. I mean Davis is injury prone and he'll beat himself battling under the basket with the rebounds against the opponent's backboard. The Lakers should take good care of AD maybe put him at the PF position.
Another, notable line up for the Lakers is the 2nd unit. They have a very good depth If everyone is healthy.
Nunn, Melo, DeAndre, Rondo, THT, and Ellington.
This will be a challenge for Frank Vogel on how he's going to handle with a team of superstars.

I checked the roster of the Lakers, Lebron is listed as an SG (Shooting Guard), so for now, let's stick to that but I hope the Lakers will understand that Westbrook will be more effective if he plays the same role when he was with the OKC.

They won't use Davis as usual because they already got enough big men to rest him whenever he is exhausted. The point here is, they will preserve AD up to the playoffs without getting injured. we already fast the time when players don't really need to take some good rest just to avoid injury because in today's NBA, they paid a lot to be able to get to the championship and in that case, they won't hesitate to do the necessary action to take care of their high-value players.

His position can change though, he is not a PG per definition, but he can bring the ball and distribute it.

But as SF, he can do more damage as far as scoring goes, but when he is a PG, he goes after the assists obviously and makes his team mates more comfortable. That's what he did with Javale, Kuzma and Caruso, but those players are no longer in LA uniform. So there could be someone that will replace and received a lot of pass from Lebron in the current roster.

Ah no worries about his summer league injury, it was just a sore hamstring injury but he was immediately pulled out for the rest of the summer league since the summer league isn't quite a big of a deal to players like him, the summer league is quite intended more for those players who were undrafted.

LiAngelo Ball is a potential player who may be recruited, I don't know what team though but he has the skill and potential to just like his brothers.

It's on the Sixers management to wrap this up quickly but they haven't done that early. They will have more difficulty finding suitable trades since the season is about to open. Other teams are probably low balling them now that Simmons is showing a child like attitude. He should play this smart too as this will affect his future teams.

Any predictions on what team will come in last place? I think Houston might be a good selection as they deal with the James Harden fallout and now trying to find a new home for John Wall… The Cavaliers seem stuck in the LeBron James hangover still. Kevin Love won’t let them buy him out and I don’t think his heart is in it anymore. That team is a mess and probably will be for another 2-3 years.

I think with their size they will win some bottom games.  I think Houston has a good shot.  And my dark horse to bring up the bottom is San Antonio.   After years on top and then mediocrity, I think they are rip for a meh season.  West is pretty strong and think San Antonio is in the bottom 3-4 of the west. THe teams that missed the playoffs last year in the west look to improve, New Orleans, obviously GS, Sacramento, all teams that will improve either with age or with injuries coming back (Klay).  East is pretty mediocre so a lot of the bottom teams will all split with each other propping up their win total.  San Antonio there.

I don't think the 76ers would do that too, though Simmons said it but the 76ers as an organization would not do that to their player. It will ruin their reputation, I guess this drama will be over soon, and it should be the 76ers management who should make the action the soonest to find someone to trade for Simmons, or else this problem will continue to exist and will hurt the team more.

As far as I know, the 76ers will pay Simmons half of his salary ($16.1 million) on October 1. That must be the reason why he does not worry about the upcoming fines. I think the situation is absurd because this kid has a great opportunity to play in the strongest basketball league in the world, and he already signed a huge guaranteed contract. However, now he is doing everything to ruin his future career in NBA.

I don't think the 76ers would do that too, though Simmons said it but the 76ers as an organization would not do that to their player. In today's league status, a Center position is not really taken as a big deal now where everything is making shots on the rainbow area. While Anthony Davis is more of a Power Forward, he can switch gears to a Center position while maintaining plays for his usual Power Forward position. About the supposed injury he might get, regardless of what position he will play, an injury can happen any time.

If Lebron won't dictate the play, Lakers is nothing. It proves that the Lakers play making is at worst when James is out of the game. Lebron James is one of the best point guards in the league and he can play at any position. That's how versatile he is. Now with the change of roster, Lebron can now put the load of making plays to Russell Westbrook. Their backcourt duo will be a threat to any team. They are even more athletic compare to Harden-Durant, Durant-Irving, Irving-Harden tandem which is focused more on draining jump shots and 3s.
