2901  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING] Logan Paul vs Mike Tyson on: November 05, 2021, 12:46:09 PM
You guys believe too much in Mike. All your predictions are based on his past achievements. His last real fight was 16 years ago and only one exhibition fight last year. I dont think that Mike trains daily all these 16 years. While Logan Paul as much younger, was into sports at least 1-4 years. I think he spends way more time in gym than Mike in last years. I am not trying to say that he will win, but he wont look pathetic or like a total newbie in the ring. Mike Tysons chances to win are not 99%.

You have a point there. Although Mike is more skilled and experienced than Logan but he is getting older too.
We never know how the young blood could turn against him. Although I think Mike will win this fight for sure I still think Logan will give a good fight against him.
Boxing is more of a mind game and Mike has all that experienced mind it needs to win a match against the not so professional Logan.
2902  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What game do you prefer in gambling? on: November 05, 2021, 12:36:39 PM
I've done gambling using Dice, Sportsbetting, Poker.

But haven't placed many bets in Sportsbetting and Poker but mostly Dice on a well-known gambling website in past but not now.

Anyways what do you prefer most!

Sports - Live casino or Dice

Same like you even I prefer to play dice games the most for the ease of convenience and the rewards it offer.
I have tried sportsbetting as well and it give me a thrill of its own. I haven't tried poker yet but may be some time in future I will.
From all the games I have played till date dice is my favorite of all time.
2903  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Gambling increase due to the pandemic, stats, UK on: November 05, 2021, 12:04:34 PM
Increase of people in gambling was quite expected because there is more likeliness for one towards gambling.
People who used to gamble frequently in Casinos had no other option than to gamble online.
People who had a great inflow of money chose gambling as a medium of fun and entertainment.
People who had nothing to do in the Pandemic and were restricted in their home chose to gamble too.
People who wanted to earn a quick buck tried gambling and obviously many ended up losing instead.
There are many other reasons why a person would choose to gamble which is why I don't think the number of people gambling will decrease any time soon.
2904  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 05, 2021, 07:12:44 AM

It's obvious, just to make money. They don't care if their token has a utility or not because all they want is to grab some cash.
This is why they say, always DYOR before you invest your money in anything.

The recent rug pull of Squidcoin is another big warning that we should always believe in the hype, always check the project what's bringing to the community and whoa re the people running it and are they capable of doing or following what's on their roadmap, many of these hype coins have anonymous developers and this is a big warning to all of us.

We should not always believe in the hype because the hype can be manipulated but we should believe in the project and it's potential.
Anonymous developers are not a problem but are they capable to fulfill their commitment is the key to potential of the project.
We should keep monitoring the project and it's statistics. Only then we can find out if it is worth investing in the project.
2905  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: November 04, 2021, 06:23:42 PM
If I have some spare amount and wanted to place bets of unknown matches? First thing I will do is to make a simple search on the internet about those two teams and probably watch a few games or highlights or previous data for both teams. It's free and well I don't want to place bets randomly even though it shows on the odds who has an advantage but it was an underdog and we are not sure what they are capable of.
But Instead of risking all $10 on either the underdog nor the favorite athlete if I can't get quality statistics of both fighters I would rather split the $10 unevenly then bet on each fighter this way no matter the outcome I wouldn't be in total loss. Risking all $10 means the statistics of either fighter portrays strength for a sure win otherwise the sharing method is what I adopt

There are times when we play for fun and there are times when we play to win and both of them have their own specifications.
I use the same strategy whenever I play to win and divide my amount such that whatever range I put in gets me total profit.
The rest of the times when I play for fun I go all in and risk it all in a single bet.
So it actually depends on what our priorities are.
2906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be careful with the hype on: November 04, 2021, 12:27:50 PM
We have had several hyped coins and token lately and many have been a victim of hyped projects that ended up crashing in not long after attaining a very little profit margin. Been extremely careful with how we go about our analysis will help save a lot.

I think you are talking about the recent SQUID token which was a solid rug pull. The developers created this token with statistics such that users could not sell it at the right time.
Most of the people lost all their money buying this token. It feels bad when people lose all their money in such scams.

Quote
Just wondering why developers would come up with nice projects only to crash after a short while keeping investors in losses.

It's obvious, just to make money. They don't care if their token has a utility or not because all they want is to grab some cash.
This is why they say, always DYOR before you invest your money in anything.
2907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins with a potential like the Ethereum. on: November 04, 2021, 12:18:06 PM
You mean smart contract based projects? I got you

1. Avalanche
2. Solana
3. Polkadot

The fact is these coins are going to moon so hard this end of the year and if you even want more insane profits find metaverse projects running under these three smart contract projects like polkacity or polkabridge, good luck

That's a solid list. Even I am keeping an eye on these projects and I think they have great potential.
All the above 3 coins are soaring high and I don't think it's a good time to buy them now.
Unfortunately I have just got in one of these coins at the right time and the other 2 are still out of my bag.
Still keeping an eye on them and I think I might get some of those in my bag soon.
2908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Solana made it to top 5 on: November 04, 2021, 12:09:55 PM
I would not lie but I knew this was gonna happen. When Solana was at rank #15 I read its whitepaper and I found it very fascinating.
I knew that this coin has a very good potential and it will soon rise in marketcap and claim it's position in the top 5.
Currently it's at rank #4 and on it's way to claim the #3 position. Yet many people think it's a shitcoin and I don't know why.
It's at least better than many of the other coins and I personally think it does deserve a spot in the top 5.
Although I think Solana would face a correction very soon and decline in price and marketcap, in the long term I still see it in the top #5.
2909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 'Squid Game' cryptocurrency scams $2 million on: November 04, 2021, 12:00:35 PM
I read about it somewhere on the internet and got to know that this was a classic rug pull.
I read that the scam was not worth $2 million but actually $11 million which is a pretty huge amount.
Many people watched their portfolio decrease to zero in front of their eyes because they were not able to sell this token.
Seems like many people would have felt what Wojak feels in their videos.

This is exactly why I keep advising everyone to stay away from meme coins and shit coins.
Stay invested but only in coins which have a good potential.
2910  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not your vault, not your money. Why some nation-states will HODL Bitcoin. on: November 03, 2021, 04:32:49 PM
I get the idea, but that putting Bitcoin as something that helps the Taliban doesn't look good to me. Maybe they will learn their lesson and buy Bitcoion for what is good for them but they have a mentality of the Middle Ages. They don't seem to be very open-minded about decentralized systems.

They are not open minded with their own citizens. How can they be open minded with a decentralized system ?

To be honest, I am happy that those Taliban people are suffering these things but at the same time I feel bad for the Afghan people since they have to go through the same thigns.
Mass starvation and migration crisis problems are still huge problems in Afghanistan without any proper solution.

^ If I learned anything in this world, it is the fact that having a lot of stress doesn't solve anything. You could be stressed as hell, you could be upset and you could be angry, none of those emotions will change anything.

When gambling, if you lose then you lose, get over it and move on. If you keep focusing and fixating on it then you are going to be stressed about the lost money, you will be angry for losing that bet, and you will be upset that you do not have that money in your pocket. Will that help you? If you are upset, angry or stressed about it, does it really mean that you could recoup that money? It doesn't at all, so there is no point on feeling those emotions when you are gambling at all.

That's the reality which many fail to realize because they are so involved in their emotions that it blinds them of this truth.
What they don't understand is that these emotions are temporary and with time everything gets changed.
So there is no point of taking all that stress at first place which is why we should try to stay calm in every situation and think wisely before doing anything.
Losses are common in gambling and we all know that before we start the game yet we take stress on losing.
We should train our mind not to get stressed upon losing and play within our limits to do a healthy gambling.

You can still win the watch/Amazon gift card/iphone and it is not counted as BTC. It will be noted as a separate line and you will get a notification if you win one of these prizes.
@iv4n, are you still saving up your WOF spins? How many do you already have?

How come you are so sure about that ? Is it drafter somewhere on the site or what ?
One thing I can confirm is that we do get the same opportunity to win the big prize as we get in one thing.
But I am really not sure if those winnings are displayed in separate line but yeah we do get a mail for it though.
2913  Local / India / Re: Bitbns fixed income plan - quite similar to ponzi! on: November 01, 2021, 04:34:11 PM
You guys are talking about fixed term deposits and regulations on it and it's true that people will panic if they don't get the interests on time regularly but you are forgetting one thing.
It's not really about the term deposits at all. It's about cryptocurrency as a whole. People will panic and defame cryptocurrencies because of these websites.
Many people already defame cryptocurrencies because of their own mistakes which lead to scam, hack and theft.
While there are such kind of people it will be really easy for people who have invested in such websites which can't pay their users back.

P.S : Thank god bitconnect is not operating currently.
2914  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling items for 0.004 Bitcoin. on: November 01, 2021, 04:19:56 PM
The title says 0.004 BTC whereas the post says 0.0004 BTC so which one of them is the correct one ?

Assuming that the amount is 0.0004 BTC I guess it would be inconvenient for a new buyer to purchase BTC and then transfer it to you because of the fees.
Existing bitcoin users though can use their wallets and set a low fees for transaction since you mentioned you don't mind waiting.
You can setup a LN but even that would benefit more the existing users only and new comers would still feel uncomfortable.
Another option would be that you accept cheaper altcoins and then convert it to bitcoin as per your need.
2915  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto influencers be like on: October 31, 2021, 02:15:49 PM
The truth is influencers have a big part to play in this cryptoverse, even if a project have good team and utility they need to get the words out there one way or the other, pay for advertisements too and also partnerships, I don't see how this is bad it's left for the investors to do their own part and that's strict research on the project before investing

That's a good point in my opinion and I think if it were not for influencers then projects would not get the reach to their audience that they normally get these days.
Although there are many influencers who promote shit projects and also promote scam sites there are some who do promote potential projects as well.
Some do work for the money and some do it voluntarily. The best advice I would give to beginners is to do the necessary research before you invest in anything.
Although you follow influencers you should definitely look twice where you put your money at.
2916  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: My first Crypto Meeting on: October 31, 2021, 01:52:00 PM
This is the best post I have read today. I am feeling very happy for you. Firstly, it's a great decision that you joined the crypto conference.
Congratulations on winning the $200 and I think you deserve that reward because it's the curiosity you have that made you ask those questions.
It's your willingness to learn more and communicate that got you that reward. Yes, even I think that this forum provides abundant knowledge of crypto.
If we go on the right path then this forum can give us all the info we need and also provide us a lot of opportunities to make new friends, to learn, to earn and to develop ourself.
2917  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tommy Fury vs Jake Paul on: October 31, 2021, 01:07:05 PM
Jake Paul must be kidding to put up such a challenge against Tommy Fury. One wouldn't let his family name get changed because of losing a fight.
It's more of a dignity for Tommy and since he is a more professional boxer than Jake I think Tommy will win this match.
Since the match is of 8 rounds I think Tommy will end this fight in 4 - 6 rounds and will make Jake look like a fool.

The website went down for a couple of second? I was doing auto rolls and lost near 0.00130 becouse the rolls stopped rolling and the page auto refreshed as server error  Angry if i saw right was the cloudfire error page 52X something

It is impossible that you lost anything because the rolls stopped. That's a contradiction. If the rolls stopped you can't have placed a bet so you couldn't lose a bet. It is also completely false to say that the page auto refreshed as a server error. Only your browser can refresh the page.

Thsts the point the auto roll stopped, i set up auto roll to add % everytime i lose, and stop at the first win, so i can profit on loses strike, but if the server stop responding, i lose the bet becouse i do not reach the first win after the lose strike, example, this is a single auto roll run.
~snip
P.s. auto roll in multiply if was not clear.

It's not possible to lose because of a server error. The most that can happen is that the bet would stop.
In this case your auto bet would stop and if you would lose the bet if you didn't hit the number.
But that doesn't mean you can't continue the bet. Just start the bet with the same amount and same % increase.
Hence you would be able to continue your bet and thus you will reach your first win at some point.
2919  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Instant BTC,ETH & LTC withdraws | $100k+/week contest | VIP | on: October 31, 2021, 12:44:09 PM
<snip>
Then I probably think you should be adding stress to yourself every once in a while because we generally keep losing.
Out of 10 how many times do you win your bets ? You know nothing matters as long as you are in profits.
If you are making money then you should be good to go but if you are losing then you should stop adding more stress to yourself.
Gamble only for fun with minor amounts.
I don't count how many bets I am winning, specially on slots, it's hard to tho. Stress is "added" to me, only if I lost my initial balance before playing. But just like what I said, I accept it eventually since I always try to get myself ready on the possible outcome after I use my money in gambling.
There are good times and there are times that I'm out of luck.
I enjoy playing, but not the losing part. I think we all do not enjoy that Smiley Just be true to yourself.

So it basically means you are aware of your balance and have a strategy in mind to control your losses. That's great.
Obviously nobody likes to lose but having consecutive losses and losing all your money in gambling is what we all should try to avoid.
2920  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Dust payments to my wallet what is he trying to do? on: October 30, 2021, 02:34:37 PM
1 of my wallets storaging some coins for years back in 2018

somebody has constantly been sending 0.33 cents to me what is he trying to do?
can somebody explain if i were to move coins out will those cents he sent me affect anything or is this all tracking purposes by someone
If you thought that he is tracking you or watching you, why not use a new wallet and transfer your fund to a new one. This kind of technique dusting is usually used for monitoring of potential victim. Yes this is possibly trying to hack you or follow your assets on your wallet.

the problem is how did he know my wallet in the first place?
it seems like if i send my coins to another wallet i would also just get few cents sent over to there aswell.

It's not so hard to get the bitcoin address since your coins are stored on the blockchain and anybody with a full node can see how many coins you are holding.
Most probably you are not the only one to whom these dust coins are being sent. The sender would have sent these dust coins to hundreds of others as well.
The sender is generally making these transactions to track accounts with coins in them. As the others said, there are few workarounds to not use those coins at all.
