2901  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Crime is getting Worse, what do we do? on: April 30, 2019, 11:44:16 PM
Thanks to the technology in place you can easily keep your funds safely in your private wallets. The exchanges are becoming unsafe as the day goes by. It is really disturbing to hear the huge number of attacks on the exchanges. You must always remember that in crypto, the best security lies in your own hands.

As everyone is already saying, we don't need to trust the exchanges nowadays, even the reputable ones. Who knows, they might be the next victim? And inside job is very much plausible to happen as the human nature of greed for money is always in play.
2902  Economy / Gambling / Re: flashcrash.io | an upcoming bitcoin gambling site with instant deposits on: April 30, 2019, 10:53:51 PM

I doubt that he wont make any updates yet his been off for already 2 weeks checking out his profile: Last Active:   April 15, 2019, 07:36:25 AM
but he's active on discord which it would be good if we do ask him there.

If he is still active in discord, so there is a chance that this is still pushing through. However, the OP should be faster in terms of development. More and more sites are now integrating the lightning network to catch the attention of those small time players.
2903  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] RhomBit [RHOM] Great APR% *FREE* Bitcointalk Member Initial Distribution on: April 30, 2019, 10:04:25 PM
It will be nice to get some info about this project

this thread is pretty quiet... wondering what is the dev's cooking here?

Look like same on discord too , nothing new at the moment , but it would nice to get some more info somewhere!

Is the dev going to continue developing this coin? Still staking my coins though...

I hope the dev will give us insights on what's going on with his project.
2904  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Jewelpay - Fake Team / Plagiarism on: April 30, 2019, 09:28:26 AM
Seems that their project is still active : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5057721.0. If they have fake team, high probability that their registration and license documents are all fake?

Their exchange is to be launched soon. So be careful guys!

2906  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is IEO Profitable than ICO's? on: April 28, 2019, 11:04:55 PM
Now IEO on the hype so it more profitable than ICO. But that is only for the reason of hype. I dont see any another reasona. But idea is very good.

They are capitalizing with this new hype. And if you get in at the wrong time, you will lose a lot of money also. As everyone observed, the price also declines once they start their trading. There's still no guarantee that the token price will continuously increase after listing. The scenario is the opposite, decline of the price is demonstrated.
2907  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] LiteGoldCoinMN(LGCMN) POW/POS + [MN] 2019 on: April 25, 2019, 11:22:22 PM
Hi,

Upon checking your website, I saw that there are no WhitePapers and team members of the project. Can you please update your website and supplement the essential details to verify the authenticity of this project? Thank you.

It doesn't take a genius to know what going on here. I mean if he can't even get creative with the coin's name lol. Litegoldcoin in 2019. SMFH in disappointment

if it's restart why change the name, after I remembered this coin, I'm surprised she's still breathing)

Changing the name to longer one??? What is so special with this coin? I don't see any edge from this project. The website is poorly done and we are expecting that he will release a whitepaper?  Roll Eyes
2908  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴🔴🔴[ANN]📀 Ferrum Network 📀 Interoperability Network & DAG Blockchain🔴🔴🔴 on: April 24, 2019, 09:25:57 PM
As far as I'm told, this thread will have no paid bots/puppets unlike most threads these days, a good first step in the right direction for a starting project.

Great move from them. If they are confident with their project, no need to hire noobs or bots to bump the thread with sh*t posts, right? If they can truly implement this platform with the mentioned advantages over their competitors, then they will gain users in no time.
2909  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Hekaton -=* The NEW Bitcoin *=- Wallets releasing tonight on: April 23, 2019, 10:42:33 PM
Time will tell how serious this platform will be. Such accusation has some valid reasoning why it came out. But if something is really serious here, we will know in time.
2910  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW XBY ANN] XTRABYTES - A NEW ERA BEGINS on: April 23, 2019, 01:45:51 AM
Wow, that's a long read about the history of XBY! Is this the reason why they created a new ANN? But someone can always dig the dirt. Is the trademark logo authentic?
2911  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] 🔥 Maya Preferred 223 (MAPR) 🔥 Gold & Silver backed on: April 23, 2019, 12:59:57 AM
Looks very consistent to what they are doing even after getting caught of the plagiarized whitepaper.  Once a project is tainted with red in bitcointalk and had been proven, a project may never really be trusted with all the PRs done. You just can't clean the slate with new whitepaper.

Never trade on fatbtc, might try after checking it.

I'm pretty amused with this project. The price in the exchange is quite expensive. It seems they have big whales behind this project. Though, plagiarizing is common nowadays but they should have been more careful because users will look for things that might ruin your hard work. Sometimes basic things are being neglected but those are the vital parts of the project.

Will be watching this project if they can sustain such value in the long run.

2912  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Sparks Imminent Crypto Bull Stampede with 44% Gains in 2019 on: April 22, 2019, 11:46:47 PM
You created a topic called 44% gains, than you have written on your initial post how it went up in 44% then you listed it as 39%, why is that ?  Has the price changed while you were writing or something ?

I mean bitcoin is not based on something like some of the other ones you mentioned, oil for example literally helps world go around because without oil we would have to rely on alternative energy and we are not there yet, we are trying to be but not yet.

Gold and all that is also valuable for the past 3000+ years. Bitcoin however out-profiting nasdaq and nyse really makes me happy because after all that is what we should be going against, stock markets are shady and doing business in the most illegal way ever while still getting away with it whereas bitcoin is the most pure form of money and it should be of course out
performing them.

Yes, the OP should be consistent with the title and the content of his post. But saw at the very beginning of his post where 44% is coming from. Bitcoin is gaining traction even for ordinary users because of the benefits that it brings to them (i.e. convenience, tx fees in remittance, etc.). So it is not surprising that there will be such increase of price in the crypto market.

Year-to-date, the bitcoin price has increased by 44 percent against the U.S. dollar from $3,700 to $5,320, becoming one of the best-performing assets in the global market alongside oil.

2019 Returns...

Please add links related to this project. But anyway, I checked the Kudi Exchange - https://kudi.exchange and as of now to access the exchange itself is by invite-only. When will you fully release the exchange to be used by public users?

Are those your competitors in your region of operations? It seems that you have great advantage to all of them. But you need to expose those features to potential users so they know these benefits that they can get from your platform.
2914  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][IEO][ICO] LEAF token - The branded currency for the hospitality industry on: April 22, 2019, 01:06:07 PM
Your token sale dates mentioned ITO and ICO but title thread says IEO and ICO. So which one is currently happening - ICO, ITO, IEO? And is Leondrino Exchange part of your company? Never heard such exchange. Seems that you want to get as much money as you can here, running all the crowdfunding schemes.

Needs minor editing here :

2915  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Stegos - Completely Private, Confidential, and Scalable Cryptocurrency on: April 22, 2019, 12:51:49 PM
Your point of comparison is Zcash, Monero and MimbleWimble. Let us see how far you will achieve in terms of popularity of usage with respect to Zcash & Monero. What are your programs to convince crypto users that you are much much better than those 3 mentioned altcoins combined? Zcash & Monero have been in this community for so long already. They already cemented their position in this crypto industry and most of the projects that tried to imitate their features are not anywhere near their popularity.
2916  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] KIBIS : CREATING OPPORTUNITIES on: April 22, 2019, 05:55:07 AM
$40M for its softcap! hoho.  Grin

You wrote. "Local and international mobile recharge
KIBIS collaborates with more than 500 mobile operators, such as AT & T, Virgin, China Telecom, Vodafone and O2, covering 140 different countries. "So your project is very cool. But then what are you doing on this forum? I doubt that you can find rich investors here.

the forum still is necessary for exposure on search engine but ye this team must have huge connection. if they have done collaborating with this 500 mobile operators, it must be easy for them to set up meetings for the funding of the project.

Just curious here. Why there are no linkedin links for other team members? Only the 2 individuals under management?

Also, where can we see the long list of these 500 mobile operators claimed to be partners of this project? Such claim should be supported by valid proofs.
2917  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Buy Mithril (MITH) on Binance, and make twice your money this week. on: April 22, 2019, 05:17:26 AM
Buy Mithril (MITH) on Binance, and make twice your money this week. Mithril may go up this week.

https://www.binance.com/en/trade/MITH_BTC

Now its down to 11 percent since this post start, after experiencing an increase due to euphoria at binance and maybe because pump by dev, I think the price will go down again

The price of mithril has increased only because they are migrating from ETH blockchain to Binance blockchain which helps the coin to increase its price but again the price of mithril dropped again. Instead of losing money it is better to hold them when the price starts increasing again.

Aside from the hype that they want to create around this project, what would be the main selling point of this platform? Is it just mere talk, how about the technology? Can the OP provide much logical reason why someone needs to buy this?
2918  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO] VIMee | The First Blockchain Based Islamic Social Network on: April 22, 2019, 04:30:31 AM
I see your airdrop time is too short for the first time, and your trading volume is still 0 on waves platform, rent a good bounty manager in this forum and build as many communities in Indonesia so this project is can be fast developing, good luck..

This is the major struggle in waves platform. This is what I am implying in my earlier post. A waves asset will find a hard time in selling their coins in the dex platform, unless, it has very strong backing with investors. Very few are familiar with waves dex even if it has very simple, fast and cheap transactions. I don't think hiring a good bounty manager will do the trick here. Maybe, create an eth token instead.
2919  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GXChain Intercollegiate Cryptocurrency Trading Competition on: April 22, 2019, 04:21:00 AM
well,,, a trading competitions is one from many strategy to promote this GXchain
this activity will increase the trading volume,, but is this trading competitions only for College ?
because as the first post said "GXChain Intercollegiate Cryptocurrency Trading Competition"
thank you

As the details are presented on the OP, this crypto trading competition is exclusively for University Students (bachelor, MS, PhD) in top US universities.

To the Dev, is there a way we can see from your website regarding the updated participant Universities in this competition? How do they know that a particular university is not being represented twice? You should have some sort of dashboard for this contest that can be viewed publicly.

What Did You Expect?

This is Still Not Clear Enough?

The comparison of your platform versus PayPal is very outstanding. Yes, it is clear but what is the guarantee that you will fulfil all those features and execute those services? PayPal has been an established institution already, and you are just starting the business. And if you try to ask ordinary consumers what will they use, definitely, they will answer PayPal. How are you going to attract those consumers to use your never-heard platform?
