2921  Other / Meta / Re: what benefits can I get if giving s merit to others? on: February 24, 2018, 11:11:10 PM
Actually, you will get nothing aside for having the feeling of joy and fulfillment.

This only means that you are only able to help others to rank up and not experience the same way in return. But here's a good thing, you may have a chance to also get merits from the receiver of your sMerits because technically speaking that person owes gratitude from you. (this not happens all the time because the quality of your posts is the basis whether you deserve one or not)
2922  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the most influential factor that triggers bitcoin prices to fall down? on: February 24, 2018, 12:18:53 PM
Bitcoin is very volatile. It goes up and down at no time. But I started to think what causes its values to go down. These past few days, its prices are notably lower that last year's values. Last year, I believe, during the first few months, its prices are likewise low. Do bitcoin prices go down every January to February? Does it have a logical association?
Well, I think the greatest factor which could affect bitcoin's price are the big whales in the market, they are the one who can potentially cause fluctuations in btc's price since they have a large number of coins to withdraw.

A single whale can be ignored but if there is something (maybe a FUD or whatsoever) who will trigger many whales to sell their coins then that will be a problem for all of us.
2923  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 15,000usd at the end of Feb for Bitcoin?? on: February 24, 2018, 09:24:21 AM
I think it is possible for bitcoin to reach $15000 at the end of this month because bitcoin price rapidly change with out our notice. If many people are keep on buying untill now there is a possibility that the bitcoin demand will continue to increase that also push the bitcoin price up to our expectation.
I respect your opinion sir but I barely disagree with you. We only have 4 days left before the end of February yet bitcoin is still in $10k+ mark and I think if btc is active enough, it will only reach $12k+ by the end of this month.

Though bitcoin is not on a sky rocket today, we are still blessed because its price are now recovering and already survived its blood bath.  So better for us to remain HODLING. Smiley

2930  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Media is negative about Bitcoin? on: February 11, 2018, 10:30:01 PM
I don't see any reason for them to do such thing, I believe in media's credibility when it comes to delivering current affairs. Many of us think that medias destructs the image of bitcoin or cryptocurrency in general, but it's not. It only seems that they pay attention more on discussing the disadvantages and hazards of using btc while its benefits and advantages are only stated. I hope this kind of mentality will change. Sad
2931  Economy / Economics / Re: Positive thinking brings positive things. on: February 10, 2018, 01:05:16 PM
Forums are being filled with speculation, almost all topics that appear lead to falling bitcoin prices, whether this will continue, this is the right time to buy, blah blah blah. Come on, the storm must pass, let us focus on the positive topics instead of continuing to discuss this 50% decline. Start talking about the positive news from Singapore deputy, bitcoin that has gone up 20% today and others. Think positive and positive things will come.
You can't blame them (including me), maybe they are really not comfortable with bitcoin's current situation that's why they always tend to ask and to worry about it up to the extent that they are conquered with bad vibes.

But you know what, I'll agree with you. We should not focus to the bad side and try to look on its good side instead, because being pessimistic will make your point of view even worse. Let's relax and stay calm every time there's a fluctuation in btc's price, that's normal and expect that everything is gonna be alright. Smiley
2932  Other / Meta / Re: Account banned on: February 10, 2018, 05:50:36 AM
Since we are all talking about ban, I want to ask something. My girlfriend got an account coming from my classmate, she's doing well in he first week here in the forum 'til she told me that something bad happened. According to her, her session got timed out while she's posting (due to interruption on internet connection) then she didn't try to refresh the page maybe because she's pissed off already. After few hours, she log in again and was shocked because the forum tells that she is banned.

I visited her profile and look for her posts and I can say that she posted so bad, no doubt about it. My question is, do she still have a chance to recover her account knowing that it was an accident?
2933  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Australian Banks Now Allowing People to Buy Bitcoin on: February 10, 2018, 01:37:10 AM
“To reduce the risk for our customers, and to help protect their money, some card transactions may not be processed,” commented NAB. “We take the protection of our customers’ information and accounts extremely seriously.”

I love their reason for allowing their countrymen to buy cryptocurrency from them, they want to give a trustworthy service, a service which makes them feel secured. The relationship between those banks and its customers is like a mutualism — both of them are benefited by each other, customers are worry-free knowing that their money is secured and the banks are able to earn in return. What a great news for all the Australian's, Congrats! Smiley
2934  Other / Meta / Re: Why is account selling allowed? on: February 09, 2018, 12:19:04 AM
Let me ask one question in connection to this thread, if selling account is not allowed, (though many do it), is it okay to pass an account to any other relative/s?

No payment  exchange had been done, is there a process wherein you will inform the admin about this thing?Huh??!?

As what Mr. SaltySpitoon said, there's no big deal whether you sell or intentionally gave your account to someone, but here's a reminder, make sure first that your prospective buyer or the one who will inherit your account already have knowledge in cryptoworld or at least orient him/her about the do's and don'ts here in the forum because there's a tendency that he/she will mess up here which results to getting neg trust rates or ban at worst case. If it happens then the account will be wasted for nothing.
2935  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price is recovering! on: February 08, 2018, 01:02:41 PM
Yup! I was shocked also yesterday after I checked my digital wallet and I'm very glad that at last, Bitcoin is now recovering! Smiley  This is a great news for all of us, at least we are now relieved somehow and able to lessen the stress we feel right now.

But honestly, I'm not yet confident that btc will continue to rise because the Chinese New Year is not yet to come, it still remains a threat for btc. Don't celebrate too much, still keep an eye on the market.
2936  Other / Meta / Re: Merit system working? Really! on: February 07, 2018, 12:14:30 PM
# I do post a lot coz I believe contributing to any community build up the community strong. But look at my account I don't have much appreciation from the  higher ranked people who has a lot of merits to help me. I am not blaming them not to give me. May be they are not seeing my post. Do you think most of them have all the day to look for good post to merit other?
This thing is what I really concern of. I'm not bragging or uplifting my self esteem but I can say that I am a good quality poster here in the forum. I always do my very best in conveying my ideas and never ever tried to do shitposts at all. But in return, I only got 1 merit and take note it took so long to have it. It seems that my effort is not appreciated by others but I'm not blaming them because I understand that maybe they don't have a merit to give, they conserve their merits or they are choosy etc., I just feel sad about it.

Just an advice for those good posters who have this same situation, continue your good deeds and stop complaining because it will help nothing. Blessings will come to us at the right time, be patient. Smiley

2938  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can bitcoins be converted into cash? on: February 06, 2018, 11:51:20 PM
Absolutely yes! Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies will not remain numbers in your computer screen forever because you have the power to convert it into real cash. If you are only having btc then you can withdraw it using your Bitcoin wallet, that's all what you need but if you have altcoins, you can withdraw it using an exchange (e.g. Kraken, Buttoned, Cryptopia) or use wallets that supports altcoins such as Coinomi, MEW etc.
2939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Beware of scammers on: February 06, 2018, 11:30:45 PM
Actually, I already encounter those kind of persons in FB, they will ask for your btc address to become one of the lucky persons who will receive their giveaways and it's alarming to know that many people get hook into it. How come that a stranger will give you some coins? Weird right?  Huh

But I wonder, what is the significance of those addresses for doing their evil stuffs?
2940  Economy / Speculation / Re: We are now down 70% and still dropping on: February 06, 2018, 10:52:35 PM
We are very close to the bottom, very close.

So dont jump overboard yet.

If you do, go open a bank account and wait for your 0.1% per year.
Sir crazyivan is right, we don't have any choice right now but to trust bitcoin, keep believing to it even though it shows no improvementa at all. But it's still your choice in the end whether you will quit now or "surf with the tides" – continue buying and make the situation favorable to you. Choose the decision what makes you comfortable the most.
