2921  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Silver Wallets - A New Kind of Physical Storage [MEGA SUMMER SALE!] on: June 11, 2015, 05:24:41 PM
Prices have been slashed quite a bit! I may try my luck in some auctions... When is the new coin set to be released? I assume it'll be silver too? Smiley

Soon™ - The next coins are pure silver and pure silver with gilt.

We will never release anything that is a worthless cheap metal (like brass/aluminum/copper/etc...). We have kicked around the ideas of some gold or platinum though  Cool

Sold 4 of these so far...only a few left!
2923  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ===►Maidak scammed me 400$ BTC,this time is for sure===► on: June 11, 2015, 12:37:09 AM
He is alright...I will let him explain whatever details he wants. I was just trying to get OP an answer about when he gets what is owed.

Xestr - all I have is a few texts with little more info than I posted. I was asked just to pass on when he will be back to settle up his debts. If what I was told is the truth then I understand the delay. I agree though stuff like this is not good when trading.
2924  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: ===►Maidak scammed me 400$ BTC,this time is for sure===► on: June 10, 2015, 11:50:31 PM
I just spoke with Maidak and I can not disclose his situation, but I do have some info. Maidak will be back on the 24th of this month (2 weeks) and pay OP back.
2925  Other / Meta / Re: Any rules on ratings ? on: June 10, 2015, 10:58:29 PM
Pretty sad people will accept pay for an obvious ponzi like that. I was half temped to start dropping negatives on those people myself, but decided against it.

You're doing the right thing, or, at least, what I'd do in your (default trust) shoes. And I'd be even more tempted Cheesy

Exactly...being in the trust network makes me think more about my ratings. Part of me says if people are dumb enough to invest they deserve what they end up with. So I think it is best I just not do anything with no proof.

My guess is that something came up and he will pay you back. I really doubt he will scam, but no matter what he has tarnished his reputation. Maidak is too well known to just scam and make a run for it. I have his personal info and cell number so I can shoot him a text and help clear this up. I will let you know if he responds to me and what is going on.
2931  Other / Meta / Re: How to gain trust here? on: June 09, 2015, 12:26:17 PM
Well trading and offering services is the best way. Having green trust versus black does not really matter for most people. The only time trust helps is when you gain a good enough rep to have people send first to you. I have a pretty decent trust score and when I trade the only thing I look for is no negative. I have also traded with negative people - just research why they are red.

Why do you want rep/green trust here?
2932  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] YOUR MINING GEAR! Spondoolies bitmain etc on: June 09, 2015, 04:10:05 AM

You can complain all you like about me being a treasurer "with a wife" as I guess you'd prefer all treasurers should have no wife (maybe @theymos should have stated that you are not allowed to be married to be a "treasurer" for this forum).

Call it what you want, but you're not a treasurer if you keep trusted money where someone else can seize them on a whim-- only to defend their action and support their demands on the forum.

I am also married with kids and my wife would never go off the deep end like that. Not going to say anything bad about your wife, but that behavior is not normal. You seem pretty unhappy with these boards so probably best if you return the funds and find a new forum. Really not trying to be negative, but this entire thread is beyond ridiculous.

Users can earn a lot with CloudThink Signature Campaign. Try it here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1074144.0

Use my signature to view other campaigns we manage.

Looks like you guys are the highest paying campaign...congrats!
2935  Economy / Services / Re: Amazon Purchasing Service: 65% ; FULL ESCROW ($75-$569) Via Cryptothrift on: June 08, 2015, 04:57:54 AM
It does not work like that here. You can not show up here and expect us to trust some random website for escrow. I have never heard of that website either and would not trust my coins on it. If you will not escrow via Bitcointalk people then do not waste your time replying as you will just get trolled.
2936  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: June 08, 2015, 03:10:56 AM
Yobit Is better than all signature campaign
fast payment no need 1 week or month Smiley
i don't think so..
what parameters do you use that yobit is the best signature campaign?
except for daily payment

What good is a daily or weekly payment anyways? Dust payments are pretty useless imo.
2937  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: June 07, 2015, 11:26:39 PM
So I just came back to see what's going on after about a year...
It seems that all AsicMiner shares are now worthless and this turned into a scam?

Yes. AM is dead.

So if AM is dead, who has the IP rights for the BE300?

Re-vitalizing that development effort would be something we'd be interested in.

I know more than one board designer that would get a serious woody given a couple of prototypes.

It was probably a flop like the last few generations. AM has never created a killer chip since it started...just made a killing selling over priced hardware with no competition. I would guess that the BE300 is not even worth making at this point.

Has anyone been paid for this yet? I have been asked to send them back the escrow funds, but not seeing anyone paid?

No, people aren't paid yet.

If they are asking you to return back escrow funds it means campaign is over? I hope this isn't the case with signature campaign, if it is, then would be really weird that campaign didn't even last a week Tongue

Nah I got this thread mixed up with another - I am not the escrow for this. I have no clue the status of this one...sorry if I confused anyone.

That pretty much sums it up. AM failed on a couple gens of chips then FriedCat decided to run off.
