He for sure purchased the coin and has/had it. I know Bitmarket fairly well and he will ship it eventually. Not saying this is not a shitty situation, but he will not scam.

I hope you're right Undecided.

Last couple deals I escrowed for him took 30-40 days  Embarrassed

Note last message on 4-11-15:

"But I promise you it is sent. Should be there any day now. I wouldn't risk my rep screwing someone out of $100 bucks". Roll Eyes

Unfortunately this is not looking very good for bitmarket.

Can Mitchell or blazed even confirm that the coin that is supposedly being sold was actually sold to bitmarket?

2018  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAMMED BY JAKEZ SOLVED! on: November 16, 2015, 02:57:49 PM
I tried to tell everyone not to jump the gun about calling Jakez a scammer, because I knew that the only thing that could keep him from resolving an issue around here, especially for such a small amount would have to be something serious.

Thanks for clearing things up Jakez, and you should never rush to make a scam report because I'm sure this could've been handled smoother Tongue

The gun was not jumped at all here and OP did the right thing. MITM trades are always bad and Jake should have had the funds to cover it rather than making OP wait. This was poor trading on Jakez part...

I will bid $10 with the condition of: You take that thing out of the jar and bury it in your backyard (with a pic proving it).
2020  Economy / Auctions / Re: Auction of MoneyPot.com the bitcoin gambling wallet on: November 16, 2015, 01:14:48 PM
I also assume something like this would not be good for a US resident to own?

Absolutely not. Someone actually got charged with a crime for developing poker software for someone in Europe. Even though he wasn't hosting the poker site himself, the U.S. government decided that by nature of him developing it, he was aiding someone else in a criminal activity.

Pretty much what I had thought. That is why I just sit and hodl my coins rather than invest them into anything lol. I even attach a spreadsheet with links to every forum sale I make when claiming the income on my taxes! I know better than to mess with the govt when it comes to something like BTC...sadly. I hope he finds a legit buyer to keep things going.
