2941  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, not your coins" on: June 17, 2022, 08:55:25 AM
Some people may also be confused bitcoin for altcoins. I am not certain about this, but bitcoin pegged coins like wrappedBTC and renBTC which are altcoins are still PoS coins and people should be able to stake such coins which are on PoS coin network.
If using centralized exchange such as Binance. They have producy of earn savings which your btc can be stake/unstake flexibly with 5% apy, (just checked now) before its only 1% or 2%.

But obviously this isnt an on chain btc since we all knew that btc doesnt have staking but only a program initiated by binance for their users.
2942  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Investing all in the name of AUDIT on: June 17, 2022, 06:55:03 AM
Its not that certik failed but it doesnt mean that all projects that will be audited by them are legit. Their not perfect and of course still open for vulnerabilities on the smart contract especially exploitation is always a loophole on crypto. They just help in the determination of risk, hence anything that further proceed with the platform down time is likely yours to watch after that.
2943  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: About Library Of Trader on: June 17, 2022, 05:38:51 AM
I doubt that this well sell like pancakes. There are so many doing online courses for free. Why would some purchase a non established website? As I see the social media, only few on their audience, means they are not doing well when it comes to marketing.

There is non progressive approach on these books which probably a revision or copy cat of famous books out there. Plus theres no trust on lying to the people.
2944  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Enter the market with a loss mindset~what you can afford to lose on: June 17, 2022, 04:48:58 AM
The hardest part there is when you bought at semi top and the value of your token/coin are going down so big. Some investors mind set are to cut loss or just typically hold it. If you are confident enough, then youll definitely hold and wait for the price to go back or surpass your buying price. So what will you do when this happened?

If you are gonna hold, try to look for staking platform or their own and put it there, so while holding you also been given some tokens from that alone, making your negative value could decrease partially. At least your shares are being increase slowly.
2945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Not your keys, not your coins" on: June 17, 2022, 04:25:18 AM
but it has been repeatedly mentioned in cryptocurrency communities
Thats actually a good thing to remind everybody what is the real truth out there. Its not a redundancy but a thing we must reiterate to the public for their awareness.

I think 3arrow capital is a VC group and not a lending platform but surely they are a big guy on crypto investment. Their downfall could lead to another messy chaos on crypto.

Advice isn't enough for them, until they will learn a lesson where their coins can't be withdraw anymore due to bankrupt.
This is actually true. Experience lead you to a more sensitive type of guy once its happened to you. The realization is real when you are one of those that the funds had been held or restricted.
2946  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quick Defi Learnings on: June 16, 2022, 03:33:32 PM
You arent wrong but we cant assume a perfect defi product amongst those are in the line of centralized. Even on decentralized, those projects are still at risk but a good defi product can be achieved if all those you mentioned can be supplied by a perfect team and has capability to produce a good and reliable ecosystem.
2947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: AI text prediction in our Smartphone, guesses Bitcoin holders seed phrase. on: June 16, 2022, 12:51:46 PM
Seed phrase comprises of a lot of words, though AI predictive can catch some words still its hard to get all words, especially those AI predictive program can only rrcognize those words continously being used unless the hacker can see the history of written words in your phone. Probably someone might try it but its not an easy as you think mate.
2948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meta Mask Potential Airdrop on: June 16, 2022, 12:18:13 PM
If you are a regular metamask user for sure you will not miss those airdrop to be given to their community but also make sure to have some trades on their platform so that you will not miss certain requirements that might required in future.
Im using metamask but not actually their fee swap. But already did some transactions. But mostly I just used some dapps inside the metamask app. Do you think they would consider that options as criteria? But technically it is not really a metamask usage right but the dapp itself like the uniswap and 1inch platform.
2949  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meta Mask Potential Airdrop on: June 16, 2022, 10:16:08 AM
I think metamask airdrop will be the biggest airdrop of 2022. It has not been introduced yet but I have a feeling it will be this year. A lot of speculations on how its gonna be but no one really knew the process or selection they are going to do. Metamask is known to be a big wallet project and surely everyone uses it.

A free airdrop tokens of metamask could be a game changer like uni, dydx and many more.
2950  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is alternative cryptocurrency meeting up to it expectations on: June 16, 2022, 05:35:45 AM
What future can we see from the alternative cryptocurrency industry?
Theres a lot of potential actually, its just that some investors find it shady when a certain project suddenly appear out of from airdrops and some hype theme. Most projects now wanted to inline with such nft thing but that isnt the only power of altcoins cause they can be a really good altetnative to handling finances and some of the traditonal industry out there like banks. The rates on crypto tend to be higher compared to them making other investors shift from traditional to defi products.
2951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Celsius in trouble ?!? on: June 16, 2022, 03:27:23 AM
Stop withdrawals can postpone the panic wave but if the crisis is not handled well, when withdrawal enabled that will causes a new panic wave. Terra Luna is an example on how a bad crisis handle results in very negative reaction from communities.
Actually this is what I mean. For sure those who got their fund locked and once it resume, some of them or majority of them will likely withdraw to fiat or sell their holding due to fear that it would happened again or worse they never get back their funds. So technically this will happened sooner or later, so better be the price of bitcoin increase or else those who are in celcius may create another chaos panic selling once cecius open their services.

The withdrawal suspensions on some platforms recent weeks remind people that Not your keys, not your coins.
Now they will understand the risk of centralized platform.
2952  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is the crash in bitcoin price a threat to forum existence? on: June 16, 2022, 03:09:45 AM
Bitcoins and its related discussions is the subject matter and major objective why this forum was first created after bitcoins from my observation, but considering the current dump in bitcoin, assuming that the prices never goes up and bitcoin ceases to exist or looses value completely, will this forum continue to function?
I dont think it will be affected. Forum existed and lively here even the bitcoin price is way too low than this current market. The only difference is the more people come here asking why price is going down then thats the beauty of forum since we can speculate and discuss whats possible happening in the bitcoin and crypto space. Even forum ads werent gonna be affected for sure as I believe the payment here is bitcoin.

Im thinking OP is worried of it as possible closure or something right? But its not possible to be affected by this crash.
2953  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Very important to do our research: Avalanche [AVAX] is a capped asset on: June 15, 2022, 08:51:30 AM
Thats what the fud circulating around. But I helped in my own way how to counter those fud. Cause from the beginning avax already set a capped token supply of 720m which will never change forever. This was clarify by professor Emin by those who misguided about the tokenomics of it. Ive been an early investors of avax, and knowing this details should been pass to a lot of new investors.
2954  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Celsius in trouble ?!? on: June 15, 2022, 06:33:18 AM
Stopping withdrawals means really bad and panic for some of the investors who put theit funds there. This is typically example of chaos where a platform are probably nervous already on hows the market respond due to fed reports.

Some are probably complaining regarding the issue and msot likely its bad since whether when they will resume the operations.
2955  Other / Off-topic / Re: Irony of Life on: June 15, 2022, 05:47:53 AM
The next month he needs the money for bills? So it does mean that the one he god sold off last March for bitcoin are something that they need on their expenses. This is so wrong, money use to purchase a very volatile asset such as bitcoin should be segregate from the one been used for consumptions. Like invest onlny what you can afford to lose or money that you dont need for a very long time.
2956  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can you predict the caption on: June 14, 2022, 07:57:35 AM
Firstly suggest to move it on bitcoin discussion or speculation thread.

Headline could be massively comprises of "bitcoin dead in the water"

As far as the market concern, I believe this is an old linguistic tricks to stir up weak investors and only whales can benefit in the end. Besides, 1btc is 1btc, crash or fomo it will be the same. So nothing can stop from holding those true bitcoiners.
2957  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to know if your bank card is crypto friendly on: June 14, 2022, 05:47:28 AM
Ive type my first digits according to procedure but it said not enough data on the bank card. Does it support international card considering its visa affiliated card? Ive used it to cash out some of my crypto on binance but didnt read any data.

I think only few cards are yet being reviewed by this website. But thanks for the heads up.
2958  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: If you do this, stop it! on: June 14, 2022, 05:02:16 AM
This is really happened on real life. Maybe his drawn too much into crypto and forgot to spend his earning and money to some most valuable thing and stuff in life. Its hard not to have friends, but maybe he really just wanted to focus on whats he is doing now. Its also good but its always better to have a balance life, and enjoying the perks of what he did earned.

People might forgot it due to money and unfortunately, few really changed when they already earned money they cang imagine to have.
2959  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stake most of my USDT, it is better to leave it as USDT or change it to USDC ? on: June 14, 2022, 04:23:35 AM
Both of these are good stablecoin especially usdt as iy widely used on the cryptomarket and exchanges. But you should be ready on the risk of any kind such as depegging and freeze of account as it happened on ust luna already or some issue before that usdt got some freeze accounts. Thats really dangerous and quite sfary to know that they can do that anytime.
2960  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Newbies: Don't panic and learn to hold on: June 13, 2022, 12:05:31 PM
I think this was the time to open up our mind and think about what we can help the market as panic selling never contribute positively but rather seeing negative results. We don't just ask but to encourage everyone to become strong and let this bear season pass worrying about nothing.
People cant ease their mind with the market selling. Some of my friends too are instead of staying strong are cutting losses. This is a heavy heart to hear at selling at a loss. But we cant blame them. We can only encourage them to hold for their money that they dont need. People tend to sell cause of fear that they will lose it all, yeah its possible unless you sold it right?
