2941  Other / Meta / Re: Ban on: March 11, 2019, 09:20:46 AM
The ban is permanent. There is already a proof of your actions so sorry say that but you cannot post anymore in this forum. Keep in mind that this ban is personal not only account-related. In other words, creating new account is not allowed.
2942  Other / Meta / Re: Is it a forum bug? A copper member and stood at member rank wears avatar! on: March 11, 2019, 08:36:50 AM
I remember this case.
He requested the admins to remove the avatar but seems like he never got the chance.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2954878.msg30413511#msg30413511

What i think is maybe he was a full member and got some posts deleted and went to member but still wearing his avatar. It was a forum clean up at that time.  Then the Merit came and he never made it to Full Member again.
Just a logical assumption.
He is registers in September, I was registered in November and I needed just 2 weeks to rank up to Full member before the merit came. So technically it's possible.

There is another misery, how those accounts got avatars since they were created after the merit system.
2943  Other / Meta / Re: Recovering hacked accounts on: March 10, 2019, 06:49:06 PM
Let me know when you get your account back l'll remove the negative tag.
I'm very happy that I could stop those fu*ckers from abusing your account.

2944  Other / Meta / Re: [Updated March 9] LoyceV's Saturday morning newspaper (I mean Trust list viewer) on: March 09, 2019, 10:59:22 AM
Damn, reading the subject line I thought that I'm gonna read the latest news /hottest topics in the forum.. it was a bit disappointing but could be a good idea for someone to make a weekly overview of what is happening in the forum.

Two useful threads :

2946  Other / Meta / Re: How much spam is needed before we ban someone? on: March 07, 2019, 07:18:08 PM
This not the first time this question is posted and left without an answer.
What I'm guessing is that every case is checked separately and there is no specific rule.

Here is one example from the last year.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050269.0

Still spamming but no change....
107 deleted posts already....

2948  Economy / Reputation / Re: Positive/Neutral Trust on: March 06, 2019, 06:42:31 PM
Just my point of view.
If the guy didn't show any shady behaviour, then should be no problem to leave a positive feedback.
But you can make your own policy depending of the risked amount from the other side, like positive for risking over 100$ for example.
If I take 20$ loan or 500$ one, there should be difference in my trust rating. It's almost the same in the Collectables.

Anyway we have examples like TF and MagicalTux which from very trustworthy members turned to a large scale scammers.

Nowadays feedback are used in many different occasions, not only trust related so green is not always money related.

Another thing to consider can be the value of the accounts and the risked amount. Green trust accounts are more valuable and have a less chance to be scammed for small amounts under the "price" of the accounts.
2949  Other / Meta / Re: Wall of fame / shame. Shit posts so bad that they are actually funny on: March 06, 2019, 02:46:27 PM
~
Actually, this is a bit fishy...
A lot of newbies with 3-5 posts and obviously using a cracked version of google translate Tongue

I think those are more like spambuster material than wall of shame.

Don't worry, if they are not on the CLUB thread it doesn't mean that they are not monitored ... often when they appear there, it's too late for them and they cannot react.
SO not everything that is going on is reflected there.

2952  Other / Meta / Re: It is extremely hard to gain merits on: March 05, 2019, 10:16:14 AM
Many sources try to avoid the Altcoin section coz of the turbulent sig. spam there, that's why people like you posting only there are difficult to spot.
I read some random posts form your post history and what I can say you are faaar better then the rest of the crowd posting there.
I don't consider this post as a merit begging so.. Smiley

2954  Other / Meta / Re: Why is META not a SIG SPAM FREE ZONE? surely you want real Enthusiasts opinions? on: March 05, 2019, 08:29:47 AM
NO it is not correct you imbecile.

Please read the OP correctly again.

Are you completely stupid ? Yutucoin didnt even happen as far as I know. You think i chose that project to make money?

that was to support bruno (who I nominated for bct best personality and he won beating out even that weasel suchmoron) that is his project.

I think I wore it for many many months and it never even took place. Well as far as I know perhaps it did. I was not booted off, It would still be there now because I likely could not have been bothered to change it. I removed it to place the truth links that are there now.

So spread those lies elsewhere noob sig spamming trash. Probably a DT and Merit source if I dug into it.

This is what I mean. You just got some bozo to pay your spamming ass to proliferate MORE negative and incorrect garbage on this forum.

Using all those epithets against people you don't know, shows who the real MORON is.

Tell me what have you done for the forum before you start to accuse the other of being noob sig spamming trash?

For this 1 year ( and a few months) I've been here,I have put more effort to make this place better than you can imagine.
Thanks to people like me, LoyceV, Welsh, etc., the spam wave in the Altcoin Section was stopped with the 24 hours rule, the bumping bots almost disappeared, the homograph attacks went to 0, people started reporting more and thanks to the club I started more than 10000 shtposters were reviewed and big part of them were banned/nuked. I stated different initiatives to make this place better: Here, here here, here ...

So tell me again how a noob sig spamming trash I am.

I like working with facts. Those above are just a part of the solid facts I have. What are yours then?

PolicyPal Network was a paid signature.. so who is completely stupid now?
2955  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Tattooed Bearded Baby on: March 04, 2019, 10:18:03 PM
BTW, I've received a few PMs with requests to change my avatar coz people didn't like it. That was some months ago... But c'mon, I don't see them offensive, and the simple explanation is that I'm a newbie (baby) in the crypto world and I love my beard. That's all.

I use another avatar in the other forum where I'm active...
Shall I use this one here too??

2956  Other / Off-topic / Re: The Tattooed Bearded Baby on: March 04, 2019, 08:09:27 PM
OMG guys. ROFL . I've changed my avatar every time I ranked up. So the last avatar was there for a quite long time. I'm gonna make a gallery with all my old beard baby avatars.

The last two are from Born to Fish campaign Wink

You should have seen meta, when merit was introduced. It was a mess back then....
Just a simple question. Why you didn't proposed that when you were wearing a signature, but now?
http://archive.fo/jdLEA
http://archive.fo/euD4x

I think you are just mad because of the red tag you got kicked out of YuTuCoIn campaign and seems like now you cannot wear signature anymore and raging against everyone else with signatures. Is this correct?

Back to your OP. It would be nice actually to have Meta sig. free, but It's up to theymos to decide.
2959  Other / New forum software / Re: Cryptos-Currencies.Com : First forum using Epochtalk on: March 04, 2019, 12:19:03 PM
I found out that I can't leave my Trust Settings empty and remove DefaultTrust. Steps to reproduce:
1. Go to Trust Settings (https://www.cryptos-currencies.com/settings/trust)
2. Choose "DefaultTrustList" and click "Remove Selected"
3. Click on "Save Trust Settings"
4. I see "DefaultTrustList" again.

I think it's the same here in bitcointalk, If you leave your trust list empty, DT is added by default.
If you try to put someone in the list and remove the DT it will work.

2960  Other / Meta / Re: [CLUB] The SpamBuster! Over 7000+ accounts reviewed : [23.11] on: March 04, 2019, 07:47:22 AM
User : Bitcoindigger02

If this guy seems to be legit, I would point him to the merit sources topic.
I can't find plagiarism, but it doesn't feel right. Why would someone with good posts waste them on spam megathreads?

This post looks like a spin bot:
~

I'll give him a chance, people can be very disoriented at the beginning, the forum is very different from every other forum I've ever visit/used. I gave him 1 merit, easy way to follow the account and check it from time to time.
If he joins a sig. campaign then will put  more effort for research. For now I see nothing bothering. Hope it turns out to be a good user after all.
