2941  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS]Lealana .25 BTC Silver+Gold MS-67 #9999 Funded on: June 06, 2015, 04:32:46 AM
TheAnalogKid has been buying up lots of coins lately. We might have the next otoh on our hands!
2942  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 2011 Error 1BTC Series 1 on: June 06, 2015, 04:28:00 AM
I have seen the honey comb in some coins, but not that bad. It could be legit or maybe messed with - I can not say for sure. I am not really after any more 2011 coins so not really pushing hard to get it. I do hope someone with a good amount of experience gets it and tells us more.
2943  Economy / Goods / Re: What watches do people want? on: June 06, 2015, 04:09:21 AM
I think if you guys offered lower end items they would sell. I like nice watches, but would never drop that sorta cash on one personally. I wear a Citizen Eco Drive watch (cost under $400) and to me that is a nice enough watch. Not sure if you guys bother to stock watches under $500 or not though. Bitcointalk is not really a good place for this type of stuff unfortunately.
2944  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 2011 Error 1BTC Series 1 on: June 06, 2015, 03:41:56 AM
I have no reason to believe this coin has been tampered with. I have 99% confidence that the hologram has never been peeled, even slightly. In fact the opposite; the honeycomb pattern is slightly visible because pressure has been put unto the sticker, compressing it slightly I have observed this effect 1st hand, although it is very pronounced here.

Dont redeem it. I'ts totally legit and funded.

Source: am expert.

lol what makes you an expert? Not sure how many of these coins you have dealt with, but I have had a lot in hand. I can not say either way if it has been tampered without seeing it in person. Honestly no one can tell from those pictures.
2945  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Some Coins: Check the thread. on: June 05, 2015, 03:59:39 AM
He never bought mine after asking me to reserve one. This guy is flaky don't bother.
2946  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTB] Casascius error MS66 series 1 AND/OR Casascius funded 5BTC nickel on: June 04, 2015, 12:37:27 PM
I would be interested in one of those 5BTC coins also...if it is priced well.
2947  Other / Meta / Re: Nominate (insert name here) to the default trust list on: June 04, 2015, 12:22:12 PM
I have been slowly adding more people into my trust network and recommend someone from DT1 consider adding some of these guys into DT2.

guitarplinker - tons of trades + he does escrows
monkeynuts - Mr reliable when trading - trusted this guy with plenty multiple times as have others
master-P - multiple trades + escrows
devthedev - trades + escrows
djjacket - traded tons of times and is very reliable

I think any of the those guys would be good additions to DT2. Rather than trying to get new people into DT1 (pointless to ask imo) maybe we should focus on good users that should be in DT2? I think DT2 does need a few more people added - only ones that have proven multiple times that they are reliable of course.

As I add more people into my network I will update here for the DT1 guys to consider.

2948  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD] 2013 Casascius Silver Single MS-67 on: June 04, 2015, 12:07:40 PM
^^ That is a nice brass half indeed.
I assume that MS67 is very rare for this type of coin, even if grading fresh out of a roll.

It is pretty rare from what I have seen. I would love to find a 2013 brass single graded that high to match my other.
2949  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [SOLD] 2013 Casascius Silver Single MS-67 on: June 04, 2015, 02:34:13 AM
Well buying it ungraded + sending it to ANACS is .9BTC alone. I would expect a small premium due to the grade so how about 1.15BTC? If you want I can take a picture of it for you?

A pic would be great.... definitely interested.

Here you go...

Well my starting offer is 2BTC  Cool

Added Deadley to the poll not only because of his awesome trade streak but also because he deserves a spot.

What is this trade streak I keep hearing about exactly?

If anyone is desperate then I can find their nodes on each of the graphs and I'll give you directions. Yes it won't show special characters properly and thankfully they're quite rare. I could manually replace them but I don't think its worth it. Your best off downloading the larger graphs as most likely they'll fill your browser cache or just refuse to display (right click -> save link as).
Well I was just curious about my position on Depth 3 since there were quite a number of people there.

Hey, this wasn't a honk if you like graphs incitation to poke, there was meant to be a reason Cheesy.
Maybe I just wanted to poke him all long.  Wink

IDK, level 3 may be a little too much.
I'd rather include some more people into DefaultTrust.
Maybe you could just take the person with the highest trustrating by DefaultTrust-Level1 once a week and include him/her into DefaultTrust?
Or, even more fun:
Every week, include the two people with highest score and remove the one with lowest Grin
That would grow DefaultTrust over time, and also keep it clean of inactive or "fallen to darkness" members.
The suggestions are horrible. We would have an additional ~50 (excluding people that will potentially get removed) members in Depth 1 in a year. This is exponentially more as to what would be considered enough.
We currently have 12 people in Depth 1. Maybe this isn't enough and it would be wise to move 1-5 additional members from Depth 2 to 1. This would enable more people to come to Depth 2 as well.

However we should not be doing anything to the default trust for the sake of fun.

I agree that adding a few members to default would be a good move. I do not think that enabling depth 3 by default would be a good idea as it adds a lot of people into the mix. So my suggestion is pretty simple...

1) add a couple new people into default 1 (maybe 1-2)
2) users who are in default 1 should be willing to look around and add some people into their lists (obviously careful consideration when adding + keep an eye on them)
The added people would have to be pretty trusted - People like devthedev who are clearly legit users, but not in the default lvl 2.
3) keep the public disputes in meta since things seem to work out pretty well

I know that if I were added I would be willing to expand my trust list and keep track of who I added  Tongue
2954  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 2011 Error 1BTC Series 1 on: June 03, 2015, 12:36:51 PM
Yeah no sort of deal as he wants the funds before I would get the coin...
2955  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Poll] Escrow - Do we need more escrow providers or do we have enough? on: June 03, 2015, 12:28:48 PM
I think they need to have both lots of trades and be an very active forum member as that rep goes a long way. Some of these new escrows that pop up its the first time I've ever seen their name. Senior and Hero accounts are very easy to buy but active / respected members usually don't sell their accounts or it is very uncommon (though not impossible) so I think actual forum rep goes along way (in addition to lots if previous trades too).

I agree with you it should be users who are obviously active and solid traders.
2956  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 2011 Error 1BTC Series 1 on: June 03, 2015, 12:20:13 PM
No escrow needed...just send me the coin and I will pay after I check it out.
2957  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: [Poll] Escrow - Do we need more escrow providers or do we have enough? on: June 03, 2015, 12:03:07 PM
Well it seems more escrows are wanted so long as they have a ton of trade history then. I will leave this up for 1 more day then let it die off.
2958  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [WTS] Casascius 2011 Error 1BTC Series 1 on: June 03, 2015, 11:56:45 AM
I would offer the 2.5, but I would need to see this coin in person to decide for myself if it has been messed with.
2959  Economy / Collectibles / Re: CASASCIUS PHYSICAL BITCOIN - In Stock Now! (pic) on: June 03, 2015, 11:55:25 AM
What is actual market price for a 2011 brass coin serie 2 (no error) funded by Mike early 2012 ?

Depends on condition (mint and stored in an airtite since purchase or handled ?), if graded or not (and if so what grade they got).

Give a bit more info, and should be able to give you a price range

Whilst 2011 s2 coins are fewer in number than the 2011 s1's, they dont command the same premium

It is mint, unhandled, uncirculated, stored in a thing like that since I bought it (never opened)

Post a picture of it and we can give you a pretty good idea of what it would sell for.

Nice work on these graphs Dogie. Do not bother with the trust ranking system as it really does not matter. I am not sure moving us to depth 3 by default will really help anything around here, but it is up to Theymos.
