2941  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambler avoiding friends after a big win. on: October 11, 2023, 08:02:32 PM
At one of the local gambling shop I visited during the weekend I happened to listen to a conversation between two bald looking gamblers at the shop talking about one of their gambling colleague who had won a big amount of money amounting to a million in the local currency and due to that win this colleague of theirs' has been avoiding them since e won that money. From their conversation it was obvious that they were a circle of close three friends that gamble together.

After all I finished with my bet headed home and was asking myself what could the colleague act that way avoiding his close friends they all gambling together and just because luck shines on him first he decides to create a distance and class. I couldn't actually annex a good reason why anyone should do that.

Those friends will go ahead saying all sort of crap about him now, Man would be going low key for his own privacy and security purposes.

Earlier this year, A Young Man in his early thirties got mad the following week after winning 18 Million naira what would be said about this? Since he didn't borrow the money from his friends to bet they have no right. Rather they should look out for them own.
If he feels like stretching his hands out for them he will.
This story I just shared happened real life. It should be in the month of march.

It could also be that this friends look down on him too before he won that money and never believed he could have won that. I don't know enough to say though.

The point is that Messi has countless of fans around the world and also among journalists and football officials from the large associations. It is quite normal that at some point his reputation and recognition is set in stone and people love him for how he still played and how he has played in the past. Psychologically I understand when is hardcore fans feel that he should become it again and honestly, I think Messi is still the best player in the world who now lacks speed. But his skills as a player on the pitch are unmatched in my opinion.

Regardless of FIFA playing a role here to help Messi or not, another factor that determines the Ballon D'Or is the voting of selected players, coaches, legends and sports journalists from around the world. If we talk about fans, maybe Ronaldo is number one because he has the most followers in the world on Instagram. However, it could be that more people who voted supported Messi than Ronaldo. Yes, whatever it is, I think Messi deserves the Ballon D'Or even though there is a bit of controversy there.

I do feel like it has to come from the number of goals scored and work rate in a single season but everything has changed to voting. If voting be the case then, Lionel Messi would have the upper hand in the case of voting. He won the FIFA World Cup Competition, won La Liga and had the best contribution in the World Cup.

Erling Haaland has scored too many goals, won all three Competitions broke so many records in his first season in the Premier League, it would be great to see someone finally meeting up with Cristiano Ronaldo being the only Ballon d'or award winner in the Premier League.
Anyways, Lionel Messi for me, he deserves it.
2943  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: October 11, 2023, 04:33:32 PM
Actually in terms of tactics, I think this is not too big a difference when Spalletti and Rudi Garcia especially if you look at the formations and schemes carried out, Rudi Garcia actually only tried to adapt Spalletti's strategy last season, it's just that in this case there is a difference where the execution of the strategy carried out due to the shortcomings of Garcia himself.
Tactic is only one component and there are many things in a club. Napoli won Scudetto in the last season when they were an underdog but do you think they are still an underdog in this season?

They are not and clubs in Serie A no longer consider Napoli like this. Even if Spaletti is still in their club, Kim Min Jae did not move to Bayern Munich, Napoli will have bigger difficulties in this season. It's hard for them and any champion to defend their trophy.

Quote
It is difficult to equalize performance when coaches are different because even though the players and schemes are the same, the execution is clearly different and this makes the results different.
Rudi Garcia has a bigger task than Spaletti and he is carrying more pressure than Spaletti too. He is a good coach but left Europe a few seasons to work in Saudi Arabia and with this return to Europe, participate in Serie A, he is facing with a big mission. First he must adopt to Serie A a second time and second he must help Napoli to win Scudetto again. In history, Napoli has never won two Scudetto titles in two consecutive seasons. So requiring them to achieve it in this season is somewhat too much.

I've just read from Fabrizio Romano about Napoli in contact to give Antonio Conte a job, this got me asking how is Rudi Garcia a good coach, drooping off important players that would help him win games. I'm still worried about the club and it's policies, with how they behave almost like Tottenham Hotspur. It takes from now till they kingdom comes before they get to seal a deal.
Antonio should let them know his policies since he will be abiding to theirs.
Antonio Conte will make sure they turn the tides around, he hasn't been successful with these Italian clubs in the Champions League.

All two clubs, Juventus crumbled against Barcelona during that finals. Inter Milan also. Will he be successful with Napoli? Having a good coach like Antonio Conte will tie Osimhen down to the club.

There's a new story at Man United. Casemiro is now seen as the team's weakest link. However, being the weakest link doesn't mean he's out of position. Casemiro is a good player, but age is catching up. He's giving his best, but he's slowing down, struggling to cover ground quickly or make swift decisions. Consequently, he's committing more fouls.
Every player has their ups and downs. Currently, he's not in top form, but it's hope that he'll bounce back.

I've read same shit from different handles and twitter football analysis, but I'm yet to see a concrete video clip explaining how he's got to be the problem with Manchester United midfielder's.
So say he is too slow and many more. He will be replaced by a Manchester United younger player introduced to the squad but how well can these player go. But since this is the right way Casemiro should be dropped.

Manchester United have seen most of them important players leaving, I won't be perplexed to see more happening. Ronaldo, David De and whoever that left left. Manchester United sacrificing for what especially. They should get ride of the glazerz esle it's war.

Its amazing achievement with Girona as second season in La Liga after promoting last two season and finish on 10th standings placed, have quit well performance in this season with second placed on current La Liga standings with 7 won, 1 draw and 1 loss with two points gap from Real Madrid on current standings placed. Current of 9 matches in La Liga Girona have faced Real Madrid, Sociedad and Sevilla as top La Liga teams with success achievement except have defeated by Real Madrid. For several upcoming matches later seems not bigger opponent teams for Girona and they will comfortable for securing second position standings behind 1 point left from Barcelona who have crucial match against Real Madrid few weeks later.
I believe with Girona consistency in this season and will finish on top fourth standings position of half season.
As I said before, Girona are still quite good statistically but they are not fully believed to be able to compete in the top four throughout this season. The consistency of a team's performance will be greatly disrupted when one or several important players are injured, and usually their performance will decline and it will be difficult to return to normal.

I wouldn't be surprised if Girona could experience consecutive defeats before the first half of this season is over, but so far their performance is still very good with only 1 defeat and 1 draw. Girona could be in the top four for a long time, but they will have to fight hard to continue to maintain their form. This is the most difficult challenge even for Barcelona and Real Madrid, not only Girona.

Game nine and they're currently second place holders sitted on the La Liga table that's incredible for one of the underdogs in La Liga. Like it or not it's got to be a massive feet reached and they would go softly with it.
Staying so long is not something I can predict for Gironaa, bit I would love to see a change. I want to see something else totally mind blowing.

I really do hope Girona survives and stays at the top. They will definitely hunt Almeria down when they meet again.
Real Madrid and Barcelona are most likely to win the Spanish League. I'm rooting for Barcelona though today.

Soon Wayne Rooney's future as a coach will be answered and the club that is very close to being able to get his services is Birmingham City. Previously, the former Manchester United legend had managed DC United in MLS and he had indeed left the MLS team some time ago. We also know that he was the manager for Derby County when he was still part of the team in the 20/21 EPL season but not long ago he was fired because he was unable to produce the best results. After MLS we will see him return to managing one of the teams in the championship division and I think if he is successful in bringing Birmingham to promotion in the EPL next season it will certainly be interesting to see him back in the EPL.

Source: https://twitter.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1711752631348035666

Wazza ( Wayne Rooney ) was a true leader, striker father , brother and friends to both opposing players and all that comes to your mind.
Wayne Rooney has been exploring clubs moving from one club to another. In this journey, he has seen more losses that wins.
I'm not certain he'll get it right this time around too, but, aftwr failure comes success.
I don't know what would be the project of Birmingham City, but he should make sure he gets to complete the task. Also, a good attacking player during his days should see his side scoring more goals.

I can't remember the last English Coach that won something huge. Southgate has been the greatest disappoinment of them all. He shouldn't nhave been given that job.

Jude gives a truly amazing performance. He plays more mature and calm than a 19-year-old player. In addition, as he plays better every week, he is put under more pressure and marking by the opponent. If Bellingham gets injured, I'm sure Ancelotti will think hard about it. There is almost no player in the same position, even in La Liga, who can perform like him.
In his first season, Bellingham was extraordinary in being able to play with Madrid and knew very well how Madrid wanted to provide a place in the midfielder position. Not many young and new players brought to Madrid can be this good and able to score goals in every match. Bellingham will be an important asset for Madrid's future, we can see the great hopes that Ancelotti is trying to inherit because next season he will leave. But after that, I hope that Madrid's new coach will also have the same vision and views towards Bellingham.
Jude Bellingham is the best signing real madrid had for the season,  thanks to Ancelotti , it seems he already knew how important jude Bellingham will be to Real Madrid and no doubt since he started playing for Real Madrid he shows great performance in every game. Jude Bellingham performance in real madrid can prove that real madrid will perform better this season in laliga and in Champions league. But where Real Madrid will have problem is if Bellingham eventually develope injury,  it will set the performance of the team backwards, this can be the problem of Real Madrid this season.

Important player indeed but then what happens when you don't have a complete striker? The importance of one would be seen then. Madrid would need to make quick improvisation if they really want to scale though truly.
Not just Jude Bellingham, yes he as been supportive whenever you want him too, but you'll have to give credit to the entire squad of players.

Real Madrid don't complain for that, they have every possible player ready to play for the badge. Just as Camavinga can play for too many positions. Real Madrid will go far but they need replacement for Benzema immediately.

How do you see Monaco's journey so far? Wouldn't it be quite surprising if they were able to occupy the top of the standings in week 8. Moreover, since the start of the season they have only experienced 1 defeat and at that time the team that managed to beat them was Nice, who are currently just below Monaco. Could Monaco be PSG's toughest competitor this season? considering that it is no longer possible for Lens to compete with PSG again like last season. However, we know that PSG is currently trying to take their place from Monaco and therefore they cannot waste any match and must be more consistent to win.

Pretty Impressive innit? Since they won't be playing Champions League football nor Europa League not even Conference League Competition they should go all out on Metz when they meet them. Luck that they'll be supported by the home fans to make sure getting the win at home is a must.

They did not go bad against Reims, scoring three goals against a defense that looked challengingly. Balogun former player of Reims scored and same to Ben Yedder, I got to see the goals they scored but they conceded a penalty. There was some reckless tackle from a defender Chrislain Matsima which lead to that penalty.

Both Paris Saint Germans and Bayern Munich have dominated them league for so long, I want to see another club beating and competing with em.

Good one! Zidane strength can only be seen when he handles and manages a side with players of high quality. He can't really coach a club with players like that in the Paris League 1 Champions.
Last coaching job with Real Madrid and he fumbled at some points. I would love to see how how he handles younger talents. Just same way Xabi Alonso is doing.
If this is true, then in the current conditions, working as a sports director may well be a good option for Zinedine Zidane to feel the atmosphere of work at the club again, because there was still some break in professional activity with a further prospect of returning to coaching in the future. And in the future, Zidane, if he still has the desire and ambitions as a coach, and I think these ambitions have remained, could already return to full-fledged activity as the head coach of the football team.

During the last Champions League won with Real Madrid, He had it difficult with winning the Spanish La Liga. Even with all the high quality players. All attention was switched towards winning the Champions League.
He is a great and elite player but I'm not sure he's ready to be the next Pep Guardiola. Too many people defend him, I want to see him handling a club with younger talents and help share the knowledge he's acquired all these years.

Immediately after the Champions League triumph, Zidane resigned immediately to save his career profile since then he has rebuffed all ideas and talks related to handling a coaching job.

Galatasaray has good capital when they host Bayern Munich after winning at home to Manchester United and in the domestic league Galatasaray has also performed well so far. Bayern Munich must be aware of their front line if they don't want to lose in this match, playing in front of their own supporters makes things more convincing, where Galatasaray will definitely appear to press to get a quick goal.

The defense line is quite crucial in a match like this, especially since Bayern Munich is playing at home to Galatasaray as an away game. If Tuchel doesn't provide a solid defense then it is feared that they will concede more quickly and if that happens then Galatasaray will have greater enthusiasm to secure victory.
Yeah Bayern Munich will play with a bad defense since Neuer, Upamecano, De Ligt, and Guerreiro are injured, this will make Galatasaray able to score against Bayern Munich. It also depend on Bayern Munich striker, will they score more goals than Galatasaray or not.

Honestly I doubt Galatasaray can beat Bayern Munich, I think the biggest possibility would be draw.

Honestly, I do love your prediction. Both Galatasaray and Bayern Munich are having same home and away records this season, they both have won four game and ended up drawing one
Imagine what the next possible outcome would be?  I'm in this with you, you get me?

I don't have a good idea of the players in and those absent but these statistics tells me it'll end as a full draw or both of them sides scoring themselves that to be safe.

Arsenal would be hosted when they travel to Spain for the clash between Sevilla and Gunners. I expect gunners winning but Sevilla recently dumped the Europa League winning coach for a new, there'll be improvement. But less positivity until it's done.

I don't know should we pay so much attention to Manchester City. The Premier League has other teams. Grin
I came across an analysis about why Tottenham is capable of achieving something big in this season of the Premier League.
1.The new manager Postecoglou really motivated the players and Tottenham demonstrates attacking football with lots of aggression.
2.The transfer of James Madison from Leicester is a success. Madison has two goals and five assists so far.
3.Son Heung-Min is doing just fine without Harry Kane and keeps showing top performance.
4.Tottenham has great wing-backs, who help a lot in the attacking phase. Destiny Udogie, Pedro Porro and Emerson Royal are in pretty good shape.
I really hope spurs to become the big surprise in the Premier League.

I saw a different Tottenham Hotspur for the first time in a long while, though I haven't seen much of the games they have played this season. They looked good and had depth in almost every position to a player. Still want Richarlison to do more than he is currently doing. He will need it, Tottenham Hotspur would also do so eventually Son geys Injured, that's a role he can fill up easily.

They seat on the table doesn't make them tittle condenters yet, lest see how they go after January. They have no big European games so they can do this, win or draw a game and prepare for the next week. They should jave less loses if they stick together truly.
All of your analysis are correct, Pedro Porto is a beast and same goes with sarr and the goalkeeper.

They'll be part on my bets henceforth. They're in a fine form.

PSG's job looks really difficult this season surely. That embarrassing loss against Newcastle in the Champions League made me think that it will be even more challenging for PSG to qualify for last 16 stage. Milan should be even tougher to defeat for PSG on paper. Seeing PSG in the Europa League would be devastating for the fans.

I even doubt their chance to win the Ligue 1 title for now. Because they aren't so different here either. They play their league matches really inconsistently. They win 4-0 against Marseille but can't even score against Clermont for example. Monaco and Nice are taking advantage of the situation for now. Maybe we can see a new champion this season.

Rest assured, Luis Enrique will gets things done in the next few games and even if they don't get to qualify for thee Champions League round of sixteen they will be demoted back to play  Europa League and that I'm sure they will no longer than the Champions League.
They won't be the first to get mad. They will need for improvements and consistency so they don't go looking for trouble and three points when not necessarily needed.

They still have chances of making it to the top four. The top four won't be hard, youz should see the way the did so.Top four is our number one priority to save.

Currently, there are two pieces of information that I am very interested in. 2 football legends will return to Europe. Messi can reunite with his old hometown after many years of separation. This will be decided after Inter Miami's ability to participate in the MLS play-offs is clear. The second news is that the French press confirmed that coach Zidane will return to top football in a completely new role, that of sports director of Marseille Club. The only condition for this deal to succeed is that the Arabs take over the team. In addition, Zidane also requested a budget of up to 300 million Euros to rebuild the team. It is worth looking forward to these two events happening.
It is rumored that he will be loaned to Barcelona because he failed to bring Inter Miami to the play offs in MLS Grin does it have to be like this for Messi to return to Barcelona?

As for Zidane, I was quite surprised because the initial rumor was that he was rumored to be the coach of Marseille when Arab investors entered Marseille and I actually expected that Zidane could return to coaching regardless of where he would eventually coach. But the best thing about this is that when Marseille is acquired now Ligue 1 will be dominated by 2 rich clubs (middle eastern money) and I think the competition will be better.

Believe Lionel Messi would be accepted immediately into Barcelona, but no so sure if he is considering playing along with Cristiano Ronaldo.

Wayne Rooney has literally moved from one club to another as a manager and have failed, I really do hope he's focused on his new job and not get worried over countries that are not his.

Manchester City without Kelvin De Bruyne and Rodri is an overhyped team. The absence of both players have had a negative impact on the team’s performance in the last three games including defeat to Arsenal this weekend which is the most recent lose they have conceded. Gabriel Martinelli’s goal was enough to give Arsenal a win. Arsenal will treasure this win, the team have worked hard to come this far, good work to Mikel Arteta, trusting the process is finally paying off.
I think every player in that Manchester city team is important but they’re key players that makes the team better like Rodrigo and Kevin Debruyne. But Manchester city is a team with a many experienced players that can make things work in the absence of these key figures. It’s still surprising that they’ve lost all 3 games without Rodrigo and I don’t think their absence is the determining factor but their performance is declining and it’s not the same as of last season. Something isn’t right with the Manchester city team.

Some players didn't do so well, Pep Guardiola has hand in the lose due to his tactics in the game. This could be as a result of Injured players and players no fit well enough after returning from Injury.
This might not be the ending, they should play Brighton in the next fixtures, they may likely lose again if they don't find balance fast.

I didn't see the gge against Wolves but I do know, Neto was responsible for breaking Cities wing backs with his pace. But Gunners? Every single player showed character.

When the match week arrives, I think there will be one match that everyone will be looking forward to as much as I am, and that is the result of Milan vs Juventus. Milan has started really well this year and there is an important obstacle for them to continue this good start. This obstacle is not an easy one. Milan, which continues to lead the league with 7 wins in 8 matches, will want to win this match and continue its leadership. We can say that it won't be an easy match for both teams, but I think Juventus is the more advantageous team, even if we think that they don't have the advantage. The reason is that Milan will travel to PSG 3 days after this match. We can think that Juventus will focus more on the match because it is not a European Cup match. Considering that Milan has 2 draws in the champions league group, they will have to focus more on the PSG match if they want to get out of the group.

This match will be an interesting match and I can't say which club will win the match, because none of these clubs should be underestimated with their performance. As we all know Milan is topping the table and they have shown how strong that they are this season by losing only to Inter. This makes it difficult for Juventus to win them even though, Milan will play in the Champions league before clashing with Juventus.

On the other hand Juventus is also strong and will do everything possible to take advantage of the match, if Milan performance is been affected in the champions league. I just hope to see who wins on that day.

Not so sure of AC Milan winning against Juventus, they have a Champions League game in the next few days after this match, so they should drop some of them best players for that game so they won't be compromised for the bigger picture ( Champions League )
Juventus without any European Competition will do everything to remain in the top four, I'm standing by them in this game honestly.
The management and heads of Juventus football club have backed Allegri completely for the job, they have faith in him.

Napoli Rudi Garcia would need to make improvements, they have tough away games, do hope he wins them.

Bellingham J. is on 8 and isnt a striker.. very good.

Jude Bellingham remains a Special player for Real Madrid he is not a striker Real Madrid fans are grateful they had him during such a time they need a striker badly.

Leave Robert Lewandoski out of this, besides the season is not over Robert Lewandoski when fit can lead that standing easily.

I'm also impressed with the player Oyazarbal of Real Sociedad, you should see his beautiful touch against Atletico Madrid which he ended up setting the equalizer only for Griezmann to help Atletico Madrid win with his kate penalty.

The latest rumors report that Arsenal have offered Gabriel Jesus in a swap deal for Victor Osimhen and I think if this is true then the profits will all be Arsenal's. The reason is, which European team wouldn't want the services of Victor Osimhen, who has also been Napoli's key player since last season in winning the Scudetto and if this transfer is successful then Arsenal will have a great striker when it comes to scoring goals.

But of course the cost for Victor Osimhen is not cheap and the latest news says that Victor Osimhen's price is still around 100 million pounds and that is not a small amount of money, but if Napoli agree to the exchange of Gabriel Jesus of course the price could be slightly reduced. What do you think, will this be a successful transfer and will Osimhen agree to join Arsenal? we know Osimhen has a dream to play in the EPL.

Source: https://www.livescore.com/en/news/transfer-talk-october-9-2023-arsenal-gabriel-jesus-victor-osimhen-latest-news-2023100908300768215/

These are all rumoured c'mon, Victor Oshime won't want to be part of Arsenal, I read they're in for Ivan Toney. Chelsea is the best way for Victor Oshime to end he will leave at the end of the season and that sure. Moving to Arsenal that doesn't suits him is not wise. I really do hope he makes a good decision ahead.

Fifteen Trophies for Eden Hazard and that's a good achievement even though not enough to some critics. He achieved the Premier League in a remarkable season with Antonio Conte as head manager.
Gabriel Jesus for exchange thats not happening he will not move to Napoli. The Premier League suits him well though.
2958  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a strategy to lose on: October 10, 2023, 08:24:22 PM
Gambling is based on luck for real but that doesn't mean you should be dividing your attention into poker, soccer, horse racing, or roulette all at once, you need to choose a side and learn everything you can about the game. This is the mistake that many gamblers are making, they believe since it's all about luck they should expand the possibility to get lucky and it always end up badly for them.

It's no doubt that Poker for example is all about been cunning, logical and deception to gain power over your opponent, it's called upper advantage, this is way different from games like Blackjack, roulette or Slots.

So imagine doing all these together, most gambling games needs your understanding of the odds and taking them into account, especially when wagering, so how can a gambler get involved in all games at once just to increase their chances of getting lucky? Stop this as it's not a strategy to win, it's a strategy to lose.

Personally, I get lucky with games that would end as FT DRAW results. I won't say that I'm all knowing, I'll call that luck.

Some are due to luck, some are good at what they do it has nothing to do with that.
But I agree with your opinion, it would be perfect if you master a sport and begin betting on it. Football is a good example, if you want to win hear, you have to know clubs that are very good in form before taking picking them for your betslip.

It's a wrong strategy, but lose has got to be one of the best teachers if those it decides to teach wants to learn. Betting is toxic, if you can't cope let it go.

Yes indeed, although Galatasaray managed to beat Manchester United but of course, it does not mean that Galatasaray will be able to beat Bayern Munich too. Because after all, Bayern Munich is basically the team that can certainly win Group A, considering the previously predicted competitor team is Manchester United . But in fact, Manchester United have had poor results in the group stage so far and therefore, Galatasaray will surely look to maximize this situation to become the runner up of group A.
Bayern should not be compared with Manchester United now, the Red Devils have many internal problems, this affects their results. Galatasaray will not be able to beat Bayern, but it may well score 1-2 goals, because Bayern's defense is not in the best condition right now and they still do not have a reliable goalkeeper in whom they can be confident, but the same goes for Galatasaray, they concede a lot of goals and I think Bayern will be able to score two or more goals.

Bayern Munich is the favorite in the group. There's no comparison with M.United. The old M.United is gone.
Galatasaray will definitely not beat Bayern Munich in Germany. (I hope I am wrong. Cheesy)
Maybe we can beat them in Istanbul but it is a very low chance.
My prediction is that we will get 1 point in Istanbul.

They remain favorites so far I have come to also agree with you. Bayern Munich are not gon be removed from the top of that table easily, and even if such would happen, can someone tell me the club and what are his or her chances of staying at the top for so long.

Manchester United had struggles and injures from the start of the season and that has still been a huge disappoinment.
Erik Ten Hag has managed to gather points but the both lose has caused a drop in form among other set of players. I'm still not sure Manchester United will qualify if the do not win all of the next four fixtures.

The international break is enough time to see them regroup and start winning games.

In the next match week, three matches catch my eye. These are City vs Brighton, Chelsea vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs West Ham. I think these matches are more important than the other matches and I think they can be more quality matches in terms of viewing pleasure. Although Chelsea is out of form and trying to recover, I expect that they will show resistance against a championship candidate team. On the other hand, I hope that we will see plenty of goals in the other 2 matches I mentioned except the Chelsea-Arsenal match.

Every Club will have to prepare very well since they'll have some players present not called for international duties.

I'm more concerned about the London derby game between Chelsea and Arsenal. Chelsea football club have been seen thriving of late, with three successful wins across the last five games they have played, they have taken a bold step forward finding a good form. Same winnings, draw ans lose for Arsenal too. It's obvious that they would get to share the points together.
Arsenal will not get the better of this game when they eventually meet.

Manchester City would be at home but I would love a positive response after three lose in the last four games, it's been a rough one for Pep Guardiola. Manchester United away facing Sheffield United tough but United wins.
There will also be another derby, ( Liverpool against Everton ) Liverpool has always had more wins, bet would be on Toffees to win!
