2941  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you guys think about Augur? on: October 17, 2016, 12:55:12 PM
Hey guy what's up?

I rencently started to use Augur, and it kinda looks like the same process than sports trading. I enjoying it a lot!
What do you guys think about it?

i have got the feeling that this coin will soon be the new hype that will also challenge ethereum for the second place.
in other words it has the potential of a big pump in it, lets see how it lives up to the expectations.
2942  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Petition for sites to accept Bitcoin? on: October 17, 2016, 12:50:11 PM
Hey guys, if we were to come up with a huge petition and invite everyone you know to sign it, we could potentially get thousands of signatures. If we could get this, we could show it to any major company and hopefully sway them towards accepting bitcoin.

Any ideas? Will it work? Will it not? Improvements?

i like anything that is remotely related to increasing the public awareness of bitcoin and helps shops to add bitcoin payment.

but i think this is not the best way of doing it as others have said, there are better ways like directly contacting these sites and maybe introducing bitcoin and its benefits to them so they accept it.
2943  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoin would you buy to invest a small amount of money? on: October 16, 2016, 01:40:07 PM
no matter if i want to invest a small amount or a very large amount, my answer is always the same and i will always look for a good altcoin with he smallest amount of risk and invest in it while the price is low so i minimize the amount of risk i am about to take.

and the list changes every time but coins like litecoin always have a spot in my list.
2944  Economy / Economics / Re: Why are Venezuelan not switching to Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2016, 01:35:14 PM
the answer is pretty simple in my opinion:
they don't switch to bitcoin for the same reason why they don't switch to USD or any other fiat! simply because if they switch to another currency, while they keep their money's worth at the same time they can not do anything with that money since there is nowhere to spend it.
2945  Economy / Speculation / Re: It took only 11 days to go from 639 to 1148 last time on: October 16, 2016, 01:31:11 PM
instead of counting the days to a pump and hoping for it, you should start hoping this never happens because it never lasts and unless you are watching the price 24/7 you will surely miss out on selling your coins because price in a bubble will drop faster than rising.
2946  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are you buying bitcoins? Why? on: October 16, 2016, 01:25:41 PM
For me price is high now, so I have kept buying on hold and not buying at current price and I am waiting for the price drop and if that happens then I will definitely buy some bitcoins.

we are all waiting for a price drop always. but while you wait you should also make some assessment on your own of the situation and see if this drop going to happen or not!

in the current market i am doubtful about any drop at all. i am not buying anything because i have already bough so many bitcoins when price was stable and low and when everybody was depressed over it Cheesy
2947  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 16, 2016, 01:20:55 PM
I had thinked to open a company but after my last experience at it i will invest into something i do wanna, maybe a house, maybe a car, sure my bitcoins wont be enought but will help a lot to pay those things.

take it from me, it is always a lot better if you start your own business/company rather than working for others. and this is true no matter where you live and how much money you have.

because even if you have a small amount of money you can still become partners with some other people who invest in you.
2948  Economy / Economics / Re: Invest your bitcoins. on: October 15, 2016, 01:33:10 PM
As many hoped and wished, the price started to peep up. So investing now, would bring more hoping the price will still be higher as it was in May 2016. Many started buying bitcoins again now though the price is not too low. Many have joined this forum and started with their job. Many have registered accounts and started earning from signature campaigns.  A good idea would be to invest and buy more bitcoins now.

Yes if you can manage to hold them for a long term then this is the best time to buy bitcoins as it is predicted that price will rise in long run so if we don't buy now then we may regret in future.

well that is true but meanwhile many of us are not satisfied with this little amounts of profit even in the long term and a huge rise while we can have more bitcoin and have multiple of that amount instead.

so for this reason i always prefer investing what i already have and try to make some profit on it so that in the future when price went up i have more than i am supposed to have.
2949  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin without Altcoin ? on: October 15, 2016, 01:21:23 PM
Well, i think Altcoin is made because it give us short way to make bitcoins, you can say that altcoin is a way to reach the bitcoin. Although bitcoin is original crypto currency and altcoin is a copy of bitcoin. But both are important in its own ways and also both give us profit.

sadly these is true these days mostly.
altcoins are not supposed to be like this. altcoins were created because bitcoin is an open source project under and open source flexible license. so everybody was thinking about making new things and new ways of doing stuff with crypto in the beginning like what litecoin did.
but eventually things became all about the money instead.
2950  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading issues. on: October 15, 2016, 01:02:30 PM
The issues you mention are mostly the trading platform dependent. When you are choosing a reputed trading platform, you will not face any issues.

Not in bitcoin trading, but in my Forex trading I have faced the many issues like order is not getting executed and not connecting to live market are some of major issues, I have faced in my trading.

Well said and thanks for clearing that out. I think I forgot to tell the thing is altcoin to bitcoin and vice versa.

How about the live markets with different prices? How do you deal with it? Are you picking a website that sells it way cheaper even if it is not that reputable?

you should only choose the reputable and popular exchanges to do your business on. and if you take a look at the prices in these types of sites you can see that they all have same rates.

actually one of the ways to see if an exchange site is good or not is to see if the price is always having delays and also checking the spread. these two can show you how much volume they actually have.
2951  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where should i invest my 285$ on: October 15, 2016, 12:57:26 PM
I would like to invest 0.45 BTC in ETH but i don't know if it is the best investment.
I want a good investment for 1-2 years.

you will be more successful if you keep $258 in bitcoin. if you don't believe me just check the price. if you have kept your money in bitcoin you could have $288 now because of the price rise.

and if you are looking for a trustworthy altcoin which is not on the verge of getting dumped then forget about ethereum and think more about other coins like litecoin.
2952  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price will be fail to bottom line ? on: October 15, 2016, 12:53:23 PM
growing pain is part of growing, so in future bitcoin price will be fail to super bottom price then rise again ?
what do you think about it ?
Nope this isn't happen for sure increase and decreasing price is a part of bitcoin but i know in the future bitcoin price will not be fail into bottom price then it will rise again, As i see on the graph and the prices of the past year's bitcoin now has a big differences not like other before and the past years.

the problem with most people like OP is that they don't know there is this thing in existence called "a Chart". and if they take a look at the history and see how price has been changing over the course of 7-8 years and then find out why each of these price changes has happened. if they do these they will never say again that price will fail!
2953  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Name me some sites where I can spend my bitcoins on: October 15, 2016, 12:47:41 PM
almost 90% of the VPN providers are accepting bitcoin, and VPN is something that is used a lot these days so you may be interested in that .

also there are many different goods that you can find on this forum in the goods board (digital or physical) and you can pay for with bitcoin.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=51.0
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=93.0

also if you are a gamer (sine you mentioned steam in your post) there are many sites that offer games and game related stuff like skins and in game items with huge discounts and they accept bitcoin. you can fin them on google.
2954  Other / Off-topic / Re: how bitcoin is popular in your country ? on: October 15, 2016, 12:42:54 PM
in my country i could have said there is absolutely nobody who even knows about bitcoin or at least how i though it is like a while back.

but these days i have been seeing many people talking about bitcoin, especially when the price started to go up again. i think many people around here are thinking about investing in bitcoin and this is a very new thing to me.
2955  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 Things All traders should Do on: October 14, 2016, 03:36:16 PM
the number 4 Always be logical is one of the worst thing that happened to me because i was not following this important rule. i have always heard it and knew about this rule but for a while in the beginning despite knowing this, i kept making bad decisions because of getting emotional and getting caught up in the hypes.
2956  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Vitalik Buterin confirms another ETH hard fork on: October 14, 2016, 03:32:06 PM
every day that i open altcoin board i see another drama with ethereum, it is either being pumped and dumped or it is being forked. nothing else except these two (technically 3) things happen with this coin.

p.s. since we are talking about names i vote we call this one etherum 2 - return of ether!
2957  Other / Off-topic / Re: Currently, what's your way of generating Bitcoins? on: October 14, 2016, 03:25:00 PM
the main way that i am making bitcoin is from trading. although i am not really doing it always because it needs a lot of time and i don't always have the time to spend. so i can say the only consistent way for me to make bitcoin has been signature campaigns.
2958  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Has anyone ever lost bitcoins before? on: October 13, 2016, 01:18:08 PM
Seems that most people here are not doing well in gambling,I've lost only a few when playing dice but I won much more with trading  Grin
Fortunately, I never lost or got stolen any Bitcoins from my wallet cause I am always very careful with my money I use cold storage to keep them safe,I never deal with people who I don't trust,I never visit shady sites and I am always double checking before I send money.

this is not surprising at all.

gambling sites have to earn money somehow, and if you really think about it you see that these sites earn only when the players lose so in other words the players have to lose in order for the site (house) to win.

besides most people here who are gambling enthusiastically think gambling is an investment which can make them rich if they try real hard!!
2959  Economy / Economics / Re: How to make 17 BTC out of 7 BTC ? on: October 13, 2016, 01:11:23 PM
You can try to gamble with them because you never know maybe you are going to win the rest of the Bitcoin that you need.
I suggest you try it out but only for a bit if you see that it is going to wrong way then you should stop right away.

That is the worst way to multiply your coins as gambling never promises you profits and if  you put that high amount in gambling there is sure chance that you will  loose all of them in a single day.

I wouldnt sugest as well gambling, i would try to make such with betting sports, as i do believe you can make it without exposing a lot your bitcoins, betting at odds of 1.2 usually are the best, if not able to catch those you can bet at 1.05 and secure your bitcoins.

betting on sports is still gambling and you will still have a high chance of losing and it really doesn't matter what odds you are choosing as your gambling odds.

we have seen so many unexpected changes in the results of the matches that we really can't say sports betting is any different than any other form of gambling.
2960  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Skills vs Luck *poll* on: October 13, 2016, 12:57:33 PM
when it comes to trading all you need is skills to be successful. and when i say successful it means  in the long term not only in one or two random trades. when you have skills you can make a consistent profit forever but instead when you rely on luck, your luck can only make you profit one or two times and the rest of the times without skills you will be losing money,
