I got the new unit, so my old unit is up for sale. This unit was $1799 new before the ram and HD upgrade. The unit is loaded with 6gb ram, a 750gb hard drive (brand new), a 1 year old battery that stores 85% of new capacity. It comes with the original box with foam inserts, a brand new third party power cord. A clean install of 10.7 Lion is on the hard drive. The lowest one of this model with these specs on ebay sold for $760 (that one had a 200gb, not the new 750gb mine had) I am looking to get $700 in BTC so price is dependent on the price of BTC. Example ebay competed listing, not mine: http://cgi.ebay.com/MacBook-Pro-15-inch-2-4-GHz-C2D-6GB-DDR2-Mac-OS-X-Lion-/280717578225?pt=Apple_Laptops&hash=item415c124ff1Price includes US shipping. Canada add 3 BTC, Europe add 8 BTC. If you have a smartphone, Tradehills two factor authentication is quite easy once it is set up. I use it.
It should prevent 95% of the hacks that are out there.

I'm pretty sure his motivation for bitcoin was H-bombed out of the water.
Check his activity. I would say he remains quite motivated and active.

Phew, I'm starving. I think I'll wait 3 days for an order from Bitmunchies! I'm in the mood for some fresh vegetables and meat. Uh oh...
Please.
Go to the Meze grill then! They will serve you up quick. Look, I do not care if you do not like all of the services and products out there that can be bought for bitcoin. But to say they don't exist is a lie.

With the value of Bitcoin being derived almost exclusively on optimism of increased value via speculation, Bitcoin's value is precisely what its exchange value is. There is nothing else you can effectively do with Bitcoin. No goods/service economy to speak of. No widespread adoption. Bitcoin = exchange value, and its drop is because (1) people are pulling their money out of the game and (2) Bitcoin's are suffering tremendous inflation as Bitcoin's continue to be mined and dumped onto the market. All the defationary glory comes after mining ends, not now. Lol. Dead? Rofl! Bitcoin != exchange rate
You can eat though bitmunchies.com. You can be clothed with many people's shirts and you can go online for a year with bitcoin via my clear USB sticks. There is plenty of economy.

Me too though the heat is not free. If you have natural gas heat or heat pump, mining heat is near 4x the price. So it adds to profit in the winter but if coins are $1 it won't make them profitable.

I don't see it. Just because the price is changing, does not mean it is dying. I just packed up more orders last night for my stuff and spent more coins in the community as well.

So, went ahead and signed the pledge because I'll do my best to spend 10btc whenever I have 10btc. Though, the part the confuses me is the "only if 1000 people do the same." Eff that. I'm going to do it anyways. I'm not going to help the community only if everyone else is.
I agree. I have already spent more then 10 btc in august. I will continue to spend.

+1, please upgrade this damn slow system.
mtgox.com did fine with higher volume in the past. It is the bots throwing many requests in per second. Charge for the requests or rate limit them.
|
|
|
Or even remove the move feature for everyone for the time being.
|
|
|
I am sure I am pretty low on the list for free videos.

I is time to reduce the load from the bots. This could be done with a fee, or with rate limits.

Wow. 75000 BTC loss times about $8 each = about $600000

In other official postings they said they had 'the majority' of their BTC offline. If that is true, then they should have more then 50% of users funds. Somehow I doubt any serious amount will be returned.

I like them too, even if I don't like your views on fluoride. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) The BTC on tilt is my favorite, not listed in the OP but in his other youtube videos. Pretty well done.

Going. I will have a table as well. All paid and registered.

Hmmm. And I made an offer of over 80% of your asking price.
