I have a better idea that even guards your privacy, make some thermite in some kind of wooden box attached to the back ( so it's still flammable ) and set it up so that you can set it off with some kind of signal, then if it ever get stolen you can simply set the thing off and if someone has been a dick and stolen your phone it will burn up and either ruin their pocket making it obvious who the culprit is or burn their hand off depending on how much you've put in.
Tracking devices are pretty pointless and are easily messed with if the person knows how to mess with it, I'm not looking forward to the technology they're trying to push onto drivers in Britain.

Very philosophical, much dogespam!
Wow! ^_^

What we need are things like mesh networks and some nice speed to go with it so it's practical to use, the technology seems pretty far off right now though but I would love to play games and use a totally decentralised internet without the need for an ISP.

If satoshi nakamoto was still around anyone thinks he would agree with this? Bitcoin was supossed to be some cool crypto anarchy shit, and im sure as hell satoshi doesn't want it to end up as just another boring legislated regulated currency.
There's actually recorded post of him speaking out against things like Wikileaks but I don't know whether that was because he was necessarily against the idea of using Bitcoin to fight the government or not, he was definitely against the negative attention it inevitably gained for circumventing the law but that's what happens when you create something so disruptive. He was against wikileaks accepting bitcoin because of the attention that it would attract to bitcoin (the added attention would potentially cause attacks on the network when the network was relatively insecure). I don't think it had anything to do with the principle of wikileaks I wonder lol that's the only problem with him going dark like he has we can't get him to clarify but I totally understand why he did it in the first place.

I don't understand why gamblers think they're always going to win and it will be different from them ( Yes, yes I'm aware of the irony of having a gambling sig so sue me I'm earning coins from it ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) ) but just look at the numbers even if you were to win once after investing hundreds of Bitcoins you'd still have an incredibly low chance of getting the money back that you put in regardless of the house edge percentage that was listed. You'd honestly be better off if you threw you're money at altcoins if you're just in it to have some excitement but if you think for a second you can make money in gambling you're a moron, it should be done purely for entertainment hence why it's often called 'gaming'.

Hmm, problem is there are very few places to trade rubles for Bitcoins that is openly viewable a bit like with the pound, but I guess that's the whole point. Does make it a bit difficult to have an idea of what's going on in the markets does anyone know where this data is coming from. I realise there's BTC-E which lets you trade for rubles and I think bleutrade does it as well but aside from localbitcoins they're the only ones I can think of, meanwhile there's several more exchanges trading in the U.S dollar.

Self-promotion stunt from Cody?
Doubt he'll get a single vote. Voting is done by members. To become a member, you need to pay annual fee ranging $1,000 - $100,000. Don't think anyone who paid will be voting to disband TBF.
The foundation has two main classes of memberships: industry and individual. The individual member dues are roughly $30/yr. That said, if you want to join an organization with the intent to destroy it, you might find you are not allowed to join. Duh. Such a childish, immature stunt. He has proven he is capable of doing useful work; I hope he continues to focus his energies on something useful, not total BS like this. I looked at your post, then your avatar, then I immediately burst out laughing.

Yeah that would just make bitcoin like all the other fiat currencies that are already around, bitcoin would be just an online currency. This would be more then a step back. It sounds to me like they don't understand fundamentals behind bitcoin.
It's not like they don't understand it, they're attacking it, it's like these people who come onto the forum demanding the developers change Bitcoins fundamentals rather than just go out and make an altcoin themselves, people on this forum may bitch and whine about altcoins but I highly respect someone who just wants to try out their idea for a currency rather than hijack someone else's idea.

The thing is Bitcoin was clearly made with a vastly economic theory in mind and because it's making the damned neo-keynesians look bad they want to change to so it's 'better' when in reality they want to ruin it so it's just as bad as their currencies.

IBC [IBC = "improved bitcoin"] uses the currency board model as inspiration, effectively pegging bitcoin to the US dollar, euro or another currency. The system would include a supply rule that would address demand and price fluctuations. Thus, when the IBC value increases, the system would issue more coins until the value returns to the benchmark level. Yeah... No, that's not gonna happen. That one line alone sounds an awful lot like a fixed exchange rate which has worked soooooo well for currencies, their plan of making the coin low volatile is to simply get rid of the free market economy when they fail to realise that rising and falling prices is what happens in a capitalist society and that hyperinflation is the main cause of market volatility but good job explaining that to morons who only study one economic theory.

Yeah, might be that I live in an uncommonly friendly area, idk. ![Tongue](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/tongue.gif) Probably. Do the people there make eye contact while walking past, speaking, or having sex? We don't do that shit here. I'd get stabbed if I walked around my neighbourhood randomly so we don't even have people not making eye contact here actually, now I think about it there are barely any girls around LOL.

Riiiiiiiiiiiiiight ![Roll Eyes](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/rolleyes.gif) I was going to leave the guy negative feedback, but they just changed the system so you can only do that if he scammed you personally, not if he only tried to. ![Sad](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/sad.gif) The system is a joke. It doesn't stop them from trying to scam us. If they get banned/negrepped, they would just make new accounts and try again. Education is the best weapon against them. Educate stupid people not to fall for scams. If you leave evidence of what they've done other people will know what to look for, a scammer I dealt with came back after several months to try it again thinking that we had all forgotten about him a trust system definitely isn't useless.

Sorry Bruno, but your raciest rants will keep you from ever being taken seriously.
![Shocked](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/shocked.gif) I must have missed those haha.... One of those classic cases of overreaction and over-sensitivity from a bunch of morons who can't read and as it turns out don't spell very well either.

you could easily get a low end - mid range graphics card on that quite cheaply from what I could see but honestly if you want to play modern games comfortably and not rage at them constantly you should get an i5 quad core CPU or higher. I went and upgrade my graphics card without thinking and now I have a super powered graphics card but my CPU can barely run at the high settings because it takes too much processing power to do so. What I would do is save up for $600 - $1000 ( This will pay for a nice graphics card too ) and then that should be more than enough to get at least a pretty nice gaming computer and not have to deal with the stuttering or FPS drops that come with a underpowered CPU.
Loads of games now are dumping lots and lots of resources either through bad optimisation or are pushing the boundaries really hard so if you think you're going to be able to play games on a cheap computer these days you've got another thing coming, simple 2D and 3D games yes, but none of the big titles that are coming out now. I just recently had a fit against Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare because when I tried to start it up to check if it would even work on my PC it blocked me because of how old my CPU was and I suspect it's only going to get worse from now on.

That's easy, we re-write the bylaws with a majority vote like the patriot act re-wrote the constitution of the united states ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
