2961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 18, 2021, 11:18:22 AM
In my mind, I'm rooting for the Bolts -14.5 but have pushed the opposite button instead  Sad. So Blackwater +14.5 @1.88 for me in the first game.

Bolts -14.5? Bookies really looked down at the Blackwater right now lol.

That team is really at their worst. I agree that Blackwater +14.5 @1.88 is a good bet but on the other hand, can't resist to bet on -14.5 Bolts too as I think they can handle it. But either of these bet, still better compare risking money on Blackwater @7.5. I don't see this team making a single win. They are not good even their opponent is struggling.

I also have the same opinion, I don't see anything with Blackwater as I stated the game before this team already messing up and that odd from the bookies express it all, the pressure from people who loves to gamble indicates that they are not buying any alluring offered last time it's a +13.5 and now they add up since Bolts is more offensive than NLEX.

Good luck to all of you, going to pass for this first game.

It's a lucky mistake for me since I betted for the Blackwater Bossing lol. Yeah, chances are they might not win any ballgame this conference and they are the record holder as of now for consecutive losses. They are now locked to get the number one pick next rookie draft, hope they can find someone to help them win games and not sell to MVP companies.

That was nice, I saw you last time that you bet on the team that is playing against the Blackwater and you cover the spread. Though they lose in this game, it was still nice because they only lost by a single digit, and maybe those who bet on the Blackwater ML had a little excitement as they were able to make it a close game.
2962  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: With all your assets, Investing in Bitcoin is really a madness or beneficial ? on: September 17, 2021, 11:34:03 PM
We usually think about risk when it comes to investment and think about selling all the assets for this sake, I can't really imagine that thing but to wonder why some actually doing this. That it looks madness but somehow, they get what they want and know that investing in Bitcoin is profiting and these people had taken the high risk more than the others can do.
This is just like committing a loan, it is all the same and I don't stop them if that only the purpose unless if they use it for gambling. But as they wanted to grow their money more through investing, that seems a good idea IMO.
2963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Solana still bullish now? on: September 17, 2021, 11:02:23 PM
Some people want to invest Solana now because of the huge rise few days ago. However, some people think that today is the end of the bull market of Solana. What do you think?

We can't be sure if that's the end, or it's going to be the start of another waves that solana will be having next week or next month. Everything is unexpected, and everytime there's a hype that depends on every feedback came from group of communities; also will follow accordingly. Hopefully, solana's bullish trend will provide sustainable profit for desired holders who deligently keep their asset tightly.

source: https://coincodex.com/crypto/solana/

As we can see on the chart, a declining trend has been happening for SOL. Might say this was common as fluctuation will come and with the Bitcoin had a drop also but the question has come into our mind of this project could able to recover after this? It is totally unpredictable and I just say maybe, I can't be too negative as this project shows such potential and in fact, its price is not bad as we think about a dying project.
2964  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Hafthor Bjornsson vs Devon Larratt on: September 17, 2021, 12:39:56 PM
I am just confused when the OP said this is not an exhibition match. I think it is since both are not professional boxers and also this is their first time fighting inside the boxing ring. their experience will not bring them close to victory if they get tired so fast.

I am as well, so I made a research and I find out that the fight is an exhibition match.
The original fight was Hafthor Bjornsson vs Eddie Hall and Hall was replace by Devon Larratt.

This is the content of the article.

Quote
The Game of Thrones actor and strongman Hafthor ‘The Mountain’ Bjornsson was set to face British strongman Eddie Hall in an exhibition boxing match that was scheduled to take place on Saturday, September 18, but with the Brit unfortunately suffering a detached bicep, the fight is set to be rescheduled for around March 2022.

2965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 17, 2021, 12:16:30 PM
Another bad game by the BGSM. I can't believe they were dominated by the Alaska Aces.

This isn't the Ginebra that we used to see, they lost by a huge margin, 75-89 was the final score and I think it's very uncharacteristic for the BGSM to lose by a double-digit. You guys really know what is happening inside, and that is the chemistry problem.

Chemistry problem and Japeth did not play in that game.
No Japeth, that's really a problem as the Alaska Aces love to attack the paint, and C. Stand does not have an outstanding game also which only tally 9 points.

How about the rigged news, is this match also is rigged? Does any player give a tip?
Not rigged IMO, Alaska was the better team, they played hard and they win big time. PERIOD!
2966  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SHIB the new tough competitor to DOGE on: September 16, 2021, 10:03:43 PM
Well, at least we are seeing meme coin did its best, unlike the others. I appreciate the hard works that this developer works on to be listed in the leading exchanges and so it caught some attention to the investors. But I'm not sure if this could gain interest as this project is a meme coin, probably most of us here thinking bad about them and we can't blame them either as they had a bad experience on Doge. If EM did this, I don't know if this could help but instead, this could be the reason why investors will ignore SHIB.
Just like the post above, not all have the courage to take risks any amount to a hyped project.
2967  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El salvador a trail blazer for other developing countries on: September 16, 2021, 09:17:08 PM
Totally agree, El Salvador's action is actually a big catalyst for more countries to eventually adopt and use bitcoin and when that time comes, we will probably see bitcoin getting much bigger than ever because with more adoption comes more demand and with more demand in a limited supply meant higher prices for bitcoin.
We just have to hope for the best, we don't know if things are going to go that way since international financial institutions are going to be resisting the progress even if Ep Salvador is successful with what they're doing.
Until it was still out of their control, they keep resisting it and this will include fiat banks. Even it was legalized in El Salvador these developing countries will never take a look that hard and consider this for a profit venue but rather ignore it. Because if that they foresee that this could give them additional revenue, I think they are in the rush to get in and legalize crypto but they don't.
This will give hope for the small countries but not for the developing countries (maybe in the future).
2968  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Lopez vs Kambosos - October 5 on: September 16, 2021, 01:02:47 PM

Teofimo Lopez only had 16 fights, Kambasos is more experience than him and IMO, though he beat Loma, I still don't see that's it's already automatic that he can beat any fighter which has less popular than Loma. This match up should be an entertaining one.

Well, you have a point mate, but despite Lopez has fewer fights compared to his opponent now, I think people look more on the quality over quantity, and Lopez was able to beat Loma at his prime that we thought is almost unbeatable. We just have to wait for the outcome as this fight will be in less than 3 weeks from now, hopefully, no postponement or interruption of this fight schedule.
2969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 16, 2021, 12:14:15 PM
Nice to see that Kyrie Irving is still his same toxic self.  After a myriad of wild antics last year it seems the Nets have decided that they might want to move on from the diva guard.  In response to the Nets showing an interest in trading Kyrie, his agent has come out and said publicly that Kyrie will retire before playing with another team, seeming to tank his trade value and force the Nets to keep him on the roster.  Today Kyrie tweeted, My mask is off. Now take yours off. No fear.  He then clarified that this had nothing to do with Covid.  Assumingly, this is his response to the team's trade desire and him playing his "retirement" card.
Wow. He is really full of himself. I understand why he doesn't want the Nets to let him go, he want to prove himself first putting the Nets to a championship game so that his value will go up again. Because right now, if they let him go, his value will surely go down due to injuries and that bad playoffs event against the Bucks.
His agent is wise also saving his ass from losing a lot of money, use the retirement card because this means like a buyout, right? Correct me if I am wrong.
Smart move by Irving, but not too smart to help the team win a championship, with his attitude, there's no way he will win a championship again, and with this news, I think the NBA championship betting odds will change and will make the LA Lakers be the favorites to win the championships. I'm convince now that the Nets really has a problem and that is Irving, he just want to showcase his personal ability, not really a way to jive with the team to build a chemistry.
2970  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Walmart Confirms Litecoin Partnership Is Fake on: September 15, 2021, 11:37:27 PM
Obviously fake.  Can't believe litecoin actually pumped over that.  All ypu had to do was look for a Walmart announcememt and there was none. Crappy part is some people lost some sizable money on that fake news pump.  If it sounds too good to be true it probably is.  Why would they choose litecoin over bitcoin anyway?
Walmart, Amazon, and I expect more known companies to be used for personal interest and to scam people. It was too sad that many people just trust news like this but neglected to visit the official site for the said announcement. Nowadays, it was easy for the scammers and create such unreliable sources of information to get some attention and use that tool for their evil plan.
2971  Economy / Speculation / Re: More Investment to Bitcoin? on: September 15, 2021, 11:01:34 PM
Some country are now accepting bitcoin as currency and the billionaires is now hoarding thousands of Bitcoin. Should I wait for the success of El Salvador's implemetation of bitcoin before investing?
Some people just wait for the outcomes before making a try, this is very usual to doubters.

Quote
I think if they become a more successful country by accepting bitcoin, others will implement too. There will be more investors and the bitcoin will be pump again?
I just hope I'm not wrong this time.  Huh
Even if they will succeed it never guarantee that the other country will consider and take action like them. It was their choice, not all see it as good and productive, they will also do the same.

if you have some trust in Bitcoin and believing that it gives you the profit and benefits in the future, I don't think you need to wait that others will tell you nor you've seen it from them but rather to take action just like them.
2972  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 15, 2021, 12:54:34 PM
I'm hearing rumors that a team is close to making a deal for Ben Simmons.  I think it may be the Sacramento Kings, but that's just a guess based on the description of it being a small market team and Ben Simmons saying he wanted to play in California.  It would be terrible if the Kings had to give up Fox to get him, but it seems like Fox might want out and if that's the case then it would be good to get a guy in return who wants to be there.  I think in the next 2 weeks we'll be hearing an announcement of a trade.
If I am the 76ers management I'll take that deal with Fox. Damn, that kid has some skills already and a lot of room for improvement.
One more team on that rumors is Washington Wizards for Bradley Beal. Wait, Is Washington a small market team?
Cavaliers are also pursuing the deal and won't keep their eyes shut until the end of it.

It seems like there's a lot of offers already but Daryl Morey cannot find that sweet deal that will be rewarding for the 76ers short-term and long-term.

Fox is good addition to them knowing that he's might be a game changer on the line up of 76ers and they can invest for him for more longer times since as you stated he is so young and he can bring championship to his team if he may have a good support. For sure he will get that with Embiid and other great guys in 76ers. Lets see the upcoming news if this trade drama will end up on sacramento since many people are more curious on which team Simmons will land.

Based on his stats, you can tell that he is really good. https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/f/foxde01.html
However, he will play with the 76ers that are full of talents, and he has to show up to be one of the stars and I don't know if he will become more valuable compared to Ben Simmons.

as for the contract, https://www.nba.com/news/report-deaaron-fox-to-sign-maximum-contract-extension-with-sacramento-kings/. I think it's a win-win for both teams if they are looking for the right fit, it's their decision.
2973  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How does the scammer companies earn through bitcoin ? on: September 14, 2021, 11:47:00 PM
I am new to bitcoin and come from a third world country. One of my friend told me a company came telling all to invest 150 USD in an scheme and then they can earn daily about 6-7 USD regularly by watching ads for the rest of their life. My friend earned 6-7 USD everyday by watching an ad of 8 minutes. He got paid instantly and also told me about the Binance mobile app. This worked for almost 1.5 months. Then the company disappeared. Those who invested lately couldnt get their money. I want to know how this process works. How is this related to bitcoin and how can one earn just by watching ads ?
It has to understand that these people are just making your friend and his friends a fool.
You might get paid during your 1st, 2nd, or 3rd day but don't wonder that they will disappear and banned you from contacting them in the following days. They are good at first but later on, you will know their true intentions. In fact, if you would analyze it carefully, you will surely be doubtful about how it be going to happen.
Quick returns, receiving a huge amount without doing anything, that obviously as Ponzi scheme.
2974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 13, 2021, 09:47:29 PM
Quite an uneventful event the last few days for NBA transfers don't you agree? I'm tired of Ben Simmons saga so who else are you expecting to be traded or waived other than Marc Gasol? Anything on the free agents or returning former NBA players? I checked on at least three sites but nothing new came up.

It normally quiets down around now.  Teams have been solidified for the next year.  Camp starts up soon.  You won't see much trades until mid season before the trade deadline.  A couple moves here and there but nothing big.  Ben Simmons is going to be playing game 1 with the sixers book it.

He has no choice but to play if the coach will tell him to play, but my question of concern here is, can he still produce the same numbers in the past, and can we still see the hunger inside of him that he wants to win? I mean, he was badly criticized, so it could possibly affect him and it will result in his performance of the game.
2975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jamel Herring vs Shakur Stevenson on: September 13, 2021, 09:08:49 PM
I think this will definitely be a good fight to watch... Herring has a little bit more experience and a bit of a weight advantage ...but Shakur has never lost a fight.  Huh  I also think Shakur is more hungry for a good win to pave the way for his future fights.

My money is going to be on Shakur Stevenson and it is going to be the battle of the Southpaws (If I am correct, both are Southpaws)  Grin

There will be a lot of pressure on Herring to defend his WBO super featherweight title and Shakur to prove a point... So I cannot wait for this one.  Wink

Plenty of time for them to prepare, and of course we bettors have to prepare for this as we should put a bet on this good fight. I was searching for the betting odds but could not find it, probably at this early it's not available yet, I'll wait for next month, 1 day before the fight, for sure the odds will be available. For betting purposes, I have to study these two, and personally, I have not watched any of their respective fight on live TV, so I need to make more research so I'll be able to make a confident bet, whether it's on the favorite or the underdog.
2976  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 13, 2021, 08:27:20 PM
And Howard, Rondo, Melo all of these players are very good and experienced in their respected positions.

These veterans won't contribute much or only used most in a few season games. Most of them will be like advisors. Back in 2019-20 season, Howard and Rondo only average around 20MPG with 69 and 48 games respectively. Their stats are also poor but can consider good because of being veteran.

Aside from Lebron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers will surely utilized Russell Westbrook and Kendrick Nunn. Ariza might received a good playing coming from the bench as he used to play on Lakers system already but this guy is now prone to injury. During his prime, he is known for his good defense but that's a part of history now.

Also possible to see Melo as we saw how he played way back from Blazers, Lakers can put more minutes of him.
He's still deadly from the perimeter so for sure dropping some pass from LeBron or Westbrook will give them some nice and easy basket.

I also agree with Nunn as he still young and like how Lakers utilize carusso, he can do the same or someone like KCP who always
ready when coach needs his service inside.

Lakers need to work giving both James and Davis decent rest to avoid from any injuries, else, they'll suffer again without
these two key players.

Nah, let's not expect an injury again because even if the coaching staff will manage their time effectively but the injury cannot be predicted. As long as they'll play physically and competing with other teams, there's a chance that they'll be injured, so all we do is just to hope that no injury will happen until the regular and postseason will be over.
2977  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [WARNING!] For gamblers using coins.ph on: September 13, 2021, 12:33:59 PM
Also, we all know that gambling money isn't allowed in the first place, so I'm curious why people are still transferring money from a gambling platform to coins.ph, putting themselves in danger.

Withdrawing money from a gambling site to exchange seems less risky.

The alarming one is sending money from the exchange to gambling sites. It's easy for exchanges to monitor and detect the output of the outgoing transaction compare to when receiving funds.

But either way, let's make a regular habit now, especially for those who are just gambling casually, not involved gambling activity in exchange transactions.
Centralized exchange have their own ways to detect this one, better to learn from no on not to use any of them because they can track you and of course they can freeze your account anytime they want. There's a lot of other options to withdraw and deposit to you crypto gambling account, choose the less risk option even if its too slow or even it pays you more fees, its better to be safe than to cry later on.

I believe they have the capacity to trace the transactions, for an exchange, I guess it's easy to know if the wallet belongs to the exchange or to a gambling site. So if both are registered, then there's no problem with tracing, and the problem only is on the users who violated the rules of using the platform.

Direct withdrawal from point A to point B is already risky, that's why mixers exists because they will help to hide the real origin of transactions.
2978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 13, 2021, 11:51:55 AM
The best thing Westbrook can do is to continue being an explosive point guard. Drive the lane and draw defenders and dish out to the spot up shooters.
If he can perfectly compliment LeBron and AD's style of play, they'll be a tough team to beat in the playoffs.

You are right. He is not showing any signs of slowing down and still fast and quick. He also becomes bulky that instead can result for him not to be quick, he can still forced his way to the near basket crashing defense.

That kind of PG is what the Lakers need, Westbrook is also an all-around player, he can defend and he can grab the rebounds, so the Lakers now had the best chance in winning the championship, and even the current Nets team will not be able to beat the Lakers if this team plays on the same page.
2979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Casimero Bantamweight Unification Fight on: September 13, 2021, 09:25:41 AM

Casimero's weaknesses are exposed in his previous losses while Inoue's weakness is not yet established because he is still undefeated.

I don't see it's a weakness as even Inoue admitted himself that if he fought Rigo that time and Rigo will just run, that would probably be the same result of the fight. Casimero loves to fight a higher that is willing to beat him, not a fighter that would fight him and just survive to make easy money.

Rigo did that and the judges were convince that the more aggressive should win although Casimero did not hit Rigo with some clean shots.
2980  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: September 13, 2021, 08:58:33 AM
There are still 4-5 games remaining for Ginebra to secure a spot in the next round after eliminations. I doubt they will end up not winning at those 5. Alaska seems not that ready and competitive enough to enter the quarterfinals.

The same goes for BlackWater that I also think will not have any winning record.

No worries for Ginebra fans out there. Low chance for them to be eliminated based on the current standings.

I agree with that, but since they are the champion last bubble, we are expecting them to play better this conference, but it's not what we are seeing, so as a fan, I am a bit worried that they might not be able to defend their title and they will be eliminated in the quarter-finals or the semis.

We can't also say that they will not reach the PBA Finals because elimination games and best of 5 or 7 series are quite different compared to regular games. Coach Tim Cone is good on adjustments and he could still make this team the never say die team win against any team they will face.

The top performers now when the conference resume are the TNT, North Port and SMB, so let's see if they'll do the same during the playoffs.

Ginebra fans will always be loyal, they have proven that they are a good team, and adding C. Stand should make them better, maybe their struggle will be over soon, and maybe as long as they win in the elimination, Coach Tim Cone will use another strategy to beat their opponent. I trust them, so I don't want to judge them now as they are still in the ranking and they still have a chance.
