456$ on bitstamp, it will probably go lower Wink Or we will all be surprise and it will spike up
2982  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES FOR APRIL ★★★ on: April 01, 2014, 05:37:25 AM
I can confirm that I just got paid as agreed

in for another month at the new terms

I just got paid myself, thank you RGC!!

0.23, it feels pretty good; I don't argue your decision to count starting at 1476 instead of 1436; thanks again for the payment!
2983  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 0.01 BTC Giveaway on: April 01, 2014, 05:07:12 AM
I thought about something, if the number has been guessed but the guess was cancelled : for exemple it could have been guessed with a post edited or it was the second post or more of that player that day; we don't know that so the players that looked at what numbers have been tried don't guess the winning number and it could be a while before we have a winner Grin

Maybe OP could tell us that the number has never been guessed, even by a "cancelled" guess; we are getting to the last 100 numbers, we should have a winner very soon

Maybe, but when we will have "all" on one list, we can check for false positives on the list.
Right now I am betting on just bad luck and a lot of people doublechecking, because they are lazy.

854
854

Nothing personal you two, but two guesses just next to eachother with the same number?  Roll Eyes

Yes it is part of the game and when we have guessed every number it will come down to the false positive number

So much time and so much energy for 5$ @ current rate Wink

@killa : your guess is not valid, OP said he doesn't count if you edit your post
You can post again
2984  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: 0.06 BTC giveaway on: April 01, 2014, 04:29:55 AM
98,000bets to go that could take a while

Good idea of give away

I will try with addy 1NREg8CaEME3WKC8Bcd2zzrBMWyUCyzSta

There is one thing that I don't understand let's say there is 1000posts made when the 200,000th roll is done and the number after the decimal is higher than 1000, what do we do? We wait until someone posts the number!!!?
2985  Local / India / Re: Best time to sell on: March 31, 2014, 11:55:33 PM
This is definitely the best time to buy and yes I agree with pandher, there are predictions been made by the market experts that btc might touch to 266$ lowest. We can't expect a stable 1000$ this year  !!

I have heard people talk about a stable 1000$ for 2014 but I think most people knew it was going to be a bumby ride!

At the moment, bitcoin's price depends a lot of the regulation it gets in big countries, it has been ok in Europe so far, bad in China and complicated in the states but once everyone knows where we stand in terms of regulation the price should rise because it will be more stable and safer to invest and innovate in Bitcoin

I am very optimistic about Bitcoin and I don't doubt the price will recover sooner than later and that we will resume the bull market to new highs!
2986  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Eternal BTC Ponzi ¤ 121% ¤ Min/Max ¤ Payouts fast ¤ 1%fee ¤ Still rolling ! on: March 31, 2014, 08:37:39 PM
Yea I was playing that one before.  It is legit but with the X2 payout the line has gotten very long.  Yours should run longer with the lower payout and keep a shorter line.  I got in early on that one and got a few payouts but now its too long to get in.

I like yours keep up the good work  Smiley

The image is from bitdoubler? The website is off and the game disapeared, it was deceiving because it was not written that it was a ponzi

http://juggerponz.com/ is an other ponzi that is paying, 150%, it started tonight, I don't know if I should deposit or not, there has been a few deposits and a few payments

The key is to deposit low so you don't risk too much
2987  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do we post here on: March 31, 2014, 08:32:13 PM
Why? What are you expecting wealth will bring you?

I think you already know the answer to this, everyone wants to be able to have the finer things in life. Wink

But mainly financial freedom. With enough money I won't have to slave away my life for an income, I'll get to spend a lot more time with my family and won't be forced to live far away or skip out on vacations.

Wealth bring you security, confort and freedom and wealth allows you to avoid a lot of things that make you unhappy : not being able to see your family because they are far away, not being able to pay the proper care for a sick children, having your kids in a bad school because you can't afford to live in a good school district or pay for a private school...

I think that ecology and the money/happiness discussion are mostly a problem of rich people because when you are poor you are busy suffering

When you are wealthy enough you are less annoyed by losing a small amount of money because of a traffic ticket or a problem and you can eat/live healthier
I remember reading a study that calculated that your well being increase significantly until 80,000$ then it doesn't increase that much more, I think the 80k$ figure was for a couple and the study is at least 5years old..
2988  Economy / Gambling / Re: JuggerPonz ★ 120% Returns ★ Round #2 TONIGHT ★ 200% End of Round Payouts on: March 31, 2014, 08:25:11 PM
The game of Juggerponz seems to be picking up again with a few deposits and payments, let's see if it goes crazy, you never which one is going to have tons of deposits and which one is going to have only a few deposits

At least it is paying honestly and for the second round in a row

It is gambling; it is even very dangerous gambling and that may be why it is appreciated Wink
2989  Other / Off-topic / Re: POST COUNT 100 !!! on: March 31, 2014, 08:09:38 PM
Hard to beat someone who's been here for years without being here for years yourself. Smiley

It is not hard if the guy didn't post a lot Grin

Look at here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=mlist;sort=registered;start=0 half the members (5/10) that registered in 2009 are still newbies

hilariousandco registered November 20 2013 and posted 7357 so far!! 56posts/day in average!! I posted 18posts/day in average and I feel I am posting all the time
2990  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why do we post here on: March 31, 2014, 07:42:28 PM
its funny people actually writes in this section of bitcointalk. Totally of topic , in a way its fun  Grin .

ok today i lost $200 bucks playing online poker, game of skill they say Roll Eyes . I had a fight with my girlfriend, later made up with her. bitcoin price still in the dumps, my beloved red devils totally getting shafted my that idiot moyes.

My girl is now making kebabs ( yummy) its a warm sunset outside my garden. life is sweet what more can I ask for really. Smiley

Never tell your GF how much you are betting so when you lose you avoid having an unnecessary argument with her; tell her you bet 20$ when you bet 200$ so you can live your gambling with her but she is not too stressed out by your losses; do the same when you win so it equals out

It has been working for me Smiley And the final result is the same, she knows how much I am up or down for a month or a year
I am not gambling too much anymore though

As for my life I have cashed out too early in stocks because I needed the money to invest in myself, I have lost in Gold so far (thanks to the FED and the banksters lying) and I am a small loser in BTC because of ponzis (or because of the fact that I play ponzis); I am trying to get a good stash of BTC and I am currently waiting to know if I will get the job of my dreams for this summer Smiley
2991  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Bitcoin Passphrase lost on: March 31, 2014, 07:33:27 PM
Thanks for you advice Smiley
I guess I'll just wait till the value of the wallet is worth investing many hours Cheesy

I would advise you to write down everything you remember about the passphrase so you can have better odds of cracking it when you will try in a few months or in a few years

Maybe it will be easier to crack it in a few years and it may be worth it if the price spikes up

Try DaveBitcoin, you never know, a lot of members have successfully recover their funds through him, I doubt he will only charge 0.05 though Wink
2992  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin-Ponzi - 115% - 290% - bitcoin-ponzi.com on: March 31, 2014, 07:18:42 PM
i have to tell you, you're smart.

4BTC for the long run, whoau....
you will be a millionaire by the year of 2356, that with the percentage you take...
i'm sure that you're thinking of your family, what a philanthropist....................

uau, put whatever you like.

THIS IS A SURE SCAM GUYS

A ponzi by a newbie, pretty shady and not professional enough  : beware!

I like the idea of advertising the ponzi before it start, it is smart, you made a website and you tried to innovate : good points
But :

Plan 4

290% AFTER 7 DAYS

Minimum investment: 4 BTC
Maximum investment: 10 BTC

4-10BTC : really? You think we are in 2011? There will not be more than one deposit; 290% is way too much as well

Lower the deposits requirements and the % of return and it would seem more faisable, right now I won't deposit and I have been depositing in a lot of ponzis that looked very sc.ammy so I doubt many players will deposit
2993  Economy / Gambling / Re: Listing Betting Sites Total # Of Bets on: March 31, 2014, 06:54:26 PM
when will JD break 1B rolls?

looking at my daily stats i predict they will break 1 billion bets in 6-8(days)

lets see if im correct.

they will also be in the exclusive 1 billion bet club. which i hand out cigars to everyone Wink

What about a promotion like the 10bets closer to 1B bet receive 1BTC SmileySmileySmiley or 100 closer get 0.1 or 1000 closer get 0.01 and the lucky player that roll the 1billion st get a cool 1BTC bonus
There should be a min bet of 0.0001 or 0.001 to get the bonus

Poke.rstars does that when they reach a milestone hand and it works pretty well for everyone
2994  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: March 31, 2014, 06:48:01 PM
You probably make around 100BTC/month net from your fees so may not "need" to run away and create more troubles to yourself..

Where did you get 100BTC/month from?  Which fees?  From what I understand, Dooglus makes money from commision the bank (the people invested) makes.  If the website makes a profit over a week, Dooglus gets 10% commission on net investment profits if and when investments are divested.  If the website doesn't make a profit and people divest, he makes nothing (which has happened a lot).

Am I understanding this incorrectly?

He was taking about expected profit.

For 100.000 BTC wagered he receives an expected 100 BTC.
There are 5000000BTC wagered and the site is opend since June or so, thus leading to more than 100.000BTC wagered per month...

5,000,000 wagered

Profit is written at 15,000BTC so 10% of that is 1500BTC-costs, by the way the website has been that unlucky?? Only getting 0.15% of the total wagered?

It is 0.3%...

Also 1500 BTC is the absolute minimum. He earned much more, because people were daytrading nakowa like crazy. Doge-dice also rakes in some money.

"Commission is charged when profits are divested, or at midnight (UTC) on Sunday each week, whichever happens sooner." and if the house loses, there is no commission until it is back where it was but if people were daytrading nakowa play and were divesting after profit he made a few hundreds addtional btc at that time
Doge-dice rakes him some profit as well but he has unknown costs : servers, mistakes, cheating (probably took out of the bankroll), security (?)
We can speculate that some of the costs were paid by selling btc when it was at a lower rate

He is doing ok though Wink and the site could be sold for tens of thousands
2995  Other / Off-topic / Re: Your time machine is here...what year would you like? on: March 31, 2014, 06:00:25 PM
Do you know when you go back in the past with your time machine you will see your younger self there?

That would be crazy, I wonder how I would find myself

But personally I would go in the past before I was born or I would go in the future
2996  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : Invest in 1% House Edge Dice Game on: March 31, 2014, 05:57:35 PM
So I understand that the website has not recovered since nakowa wins, 15,000btc instead of 50,000btc seems like a huge difference on 5,000,000wagered

Ok it makes sense, it is crazy to think profit could be x3 or 4; it must be frustrating for an early investor; I would think there has been some cheating
Statistically a "recovery" like that is impossible highly unlikely. It will approach 1% eventually - once there is 5,000,000,000 wagered then the 35,000 shortfall will be a lot less significant. Might take some time though Smiley
2997  Economy / Gambling / Re: Win free Bitcoins every hour! on: March 31, 2014, 05:55:56 PM
Can you calculate how much he get from publicity per roll compared to how much he gives away?
Too many unknowns, do you want to start a similar faucet? Smiley I can tell you probabilities of payouts, and therefore average payout from one roll (without referrals):

[0 - 9885]: ~ 1/20000 + 9885/10000 = 0.98855
[9886 - 9985] ~ (9985-9886+1)/10000 = 0.01 (~ once per 100 rolls)
[9986 - 9993] ~ (9993-9986+1)/10000 = 0.0008 (~ once per 1250 rolls)
[9994 - 9997] ~ (9997-9994+1)/10000 = 0.0004 (~ once per 2500 rolls)
[9998 - 9999] ~ (9999-9998+1)/10000 = 0.0002 (~ once per 5000 rolls)
[10000] ~ 1/20000 = 0.00005 (~ once per 20 000 rolls)

sanity check: 0.98855+0.01+0.0008+0.0004+0.0002+0.00005 = 1

average payout (using values right now): (0.98855*0.00000438)+(0.01*0.00004376)+(0.0008*0.00043764)+(0.0004*0.00437637)+(0.0002*0.04376368)+(0.00005*0.43763676) =  0.00003750 BTC

Whoa, that's much bigger than I thought, but math checks out, it seems.

Thanks for the calculation! Average return of 3750 per roll and people may do 10 banner impressions in average because of the multiply game and 1000impressions need to earn him 0.00375 not counting what he gets back with the multiply game, what he gives to refs and costs, that's a lot to get from 1000impressions

1.5millions impressions get them 5.5BTC on bitcointalk atm : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526958.0

Nice to see this one going so well.  Its been a great ponzi game.  Tell your friends and advertise the site where you can.  Lets keep it rolling  Smiley

It has definitely been going nicely : 1.8BTC is not nothing; when players decide to keep going and when it is advertised it usually go pretty far; what is funny is it can stop at 0.2BTC 1BTC 5BTC or 20BTC or more, you never know for sure
