301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BitConnect X BCCX on: January 23, 2018, 02:44:02 PM
BitConnect had ended up being a scam. They have an on going ICO which offer the sales of one bitCoinnectX  BCCX to  $50 .Would you invest  in their coin BitConnect X?

No, I'd never invest in anything 'connect' they're all ponzi schemes and you're destined to lose your money the same as people did with bitconnect. Stay away from them, I would've hoped that after bitconnect people would wise up and the others would quickly follow out of the market but it doesn't seem that's the case just yet.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much potential for Altcoins this year? on: January 23, 2018, 02:42:38 PM
Hello All!

New to the forums here but about a full month into the Cryptocurrency market, so definitely still green from both perspectives. I'm hoping I didn't miss the boat but I sincerely believe in the technology behind it.

I wanted to get your guys thoughts on the potential for altcoins this year. We've seen some take off anywhere from 20-40x in just a matter of a year. For those that have gotten to ride the wave in the past 1-2 years, do you see the same type of growth for the altcoins or are there diminishing returns now?

i think growth across the whole crypto market will be diminishing, some alts will still perform as you described but not nearly as many. Investors will have to be more selective in their holdings to get the best returns
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How To Make Money While You Sleep on: January 22, 2018, 07:59:56 PM
Thanks for sharing. I will look into and do some deep search you are saying if making money while sleeping is true or not.

Of course it is true, almost all investments are passive and that way you can earn money without being present. Investing in crypto is no different in that sense, as long as you pick good investments you are effectively earning all of the 24 hours of each day. It's one major advantage over more traditional ways of earning money, such as working.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitconnect performed exit scam with $2.5 bln and investors are suicidal on: January 22, 2018, 07:58:25 PM
They all are dumbasses, that is the only answer my friend. They have been warned a lot of times, even before the exit scam. They just did it because they wanted to do it.

And i saw that one guy invested all his life savings in there.
So many warnings, so many signs. What were these investors thinking?
Many of us saw it coming, still feels bad for them though.

They acted out of greed and in life when you do that you will often end up getting burned. It was never as if bitconnect were simply going to give up the money that they'd so effectively fleeced. You could be sure the owners would be leaving with a big slice of the pie. I hope that authorities can track them down and bring the justice that should be served but if they have any sense or know how they'll have put already a large chunk of that money towards new identities and now be off the grid somewhere.

in cryptoeconomics there is almost everything greed driven, but communal / communist "authorities" dont really care about cryptoeconomis, they are actually not friendly about it. because many judges and lawyers earn their bread from long term established stock systems. regulated financial systems, now crypto shows up taking a bow around them, the judges, the parliaments, and the police, basically was bribed by the banksters, and run by them, the banksters abused the police and judges as the registration and licensing system, and they paid the others in reward handsomely,

now lets see the reaction.

nevermind we might still see the us state social system mutate into a neocommunist one

While you're probably right right now, the thing to realise is that there's so much money within crypto that all of the 'elite' are going to want a slice of the pie, suddenly they can regulate things etc and that gives them control over the money within crypto. There is no big industry that they will not be interested in, wherever there is money to be earned they will follow.

306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: INS ECOSYSTEM SPECULATION THREAD on: January 20, 2018, 05:53:18 PM
So, the ICO has ended and its hitting markets soon. Let's see where it starts.

I expect to get a big profit with that! Hardcap with ETH constant pump... not for every ICO.... Maybe for the end of 2018 10/15$ per token

Well it pretty much started trading around those levels before falling like everything with the crash/correction/whatever you want to call it that happened. I suspect this one is going much higher than $10/$15 by the end of 2018, I think 3 figures is highly likely.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: DOGE is starting to climb!!! on: January 20, 2018, 05:50:50 PM
DOGE has been steadily climbing since yesterday and might blow up any second. If the trend continues this will be the next TRON/XRP in terms of growth potential.

Get your buys in now before it’s too late!

doge to be $ 2 takes a long time maybe next 2 years doge value can reach $ 2, must be patient to reach the expected value for doge holder
If by chance, doge will reach 2usd then we will see a lot of multi-millionaire. It's almost impossible for a meme coin but who knows because crypto space is unpredictable Roll Eyes

It doesn't matter about it being a meme coin, it won't ever reach $2 a coin because the supply is so huge and demand could never be so large as to increase the price to that level. It will slowly fade away again after this pump is fully ended. There's no real reason to hold it other than because you like it. No development is going on.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MONERO in 5 years on: January 18, 2018, 08:42:44 PM
What would be your price target for 2023?. This coin has UNLIMITED BLOCKSIZE, it cannot be hacked nor traced, it is faster than most top coins, and its supply is smaller that Bitcoin (around 15million). Besides its price is VERY LOW

2023 is such a long way out and it's difficult to predict how the whole crypto market will be doing by then, let alone one specific coin. If the crypto market really continues to grow I wouldn't be surprised if one day Monero could reach a similar price to bitcoins right now. But that is so reliant on new money coming in and blockchain technology being adopted, as well as the environment staying friendly in terms of regulations etc.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BitConnect a good investment? on: January 18, 2018, 08:40:23 PM
See thread. It seems too good to be true but so many people praised it to the heavens and back in the past.

So now that it dropped more than 97% and BCC closed operations, is it a good time to buy discounted BCC tokens? Roll Eyes

No, it's not like there's some product that can be resurrected, it was a ponzi scheme and everyone knows that. Even now those people who somehow didn't know that and invested are now aware it's a ponzi scheme, it will never resurface and thankfully so.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free Fall!! on: January 16, 2018, 08:16:47 PM

If they're free falling then it's not really a correction. A correction would imply they're correcting to a reasonable level where the price is more accurately reflected by the support in the market. (This is what I believe is happening). Free fall would imply something more synonymous to a bursting of a bubble where they are falling without there being any real support in the market and no clearly identifiable bottom.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coins to get in now everything is low? on: January 16, 2018, 08:15:03 PM
Hey hodlers Tongue Which one do u think is good to buy now that everything is in red!!
I was thinking about DENT,XLM,ADA.What do you think?

I think now is the time to invest in Cardano, NEO and Ethereum. But most important is Bitcoin. Now is the time to buy Bitcoin.

Other than some lesser known alts bitcoin is in my expectation going to be the coin that has the sharpest and quickest recovery. Eth while struggling now is still hugely up compared to say 1 month ago. Bitcoin on the other hand is down nearly 50%, that means if it can recover there's near 100% profits to be made for anyone investing right now.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: uncapped ICOs on: January 13, 2018, 08:42:10 PM
What do you think about uncapped ICOs? Although I've seen loads of people claiming they're a scam, uncapped ICOs still gather a lot: https://www.coinist.io/top-10-icos-of-2017/

And the ensuing question is as follows: do you think there's an explanation good enough for you to invest? For example, I quite like these guys -  realisto.io - but they have no hard cap set, though the reason looks quite plausible.

The thing I'd always worry with uncapped ICOs is why is that the case, they should be able to say we need x amount and this is what for. At some point the money they earn will not be needed and so it seems like uncapped ICOs may be a money grab more than anything else.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: KFC releases Bitcoin Bucket on: January 12, 2018, 03:11:17 PM
KFC releases Bitcoin Bucket

Not yet a day has passed since the company KFC announced the release of Bitcoin Bucket in Canada.

As they say on the official website, the batch will preserve the classic recipe, and delivery will be made only within Canada.

Also on your page in Facebook KFC report: "KFC Canada is representing Bitcoin Bucket. Of course, we do not fully understand what Bitcoin is and how it works, but it can not become an obstacle between you and the delicious chicken. "

More

I hope the name is misleading and it isn't a 1 BTC bucket of chicken or else that's one hell of a big bucket. Things like this are great though, it starts to bring an acceptance to those people who do not understand bitcoin, when they see major corporations accepting it it can in time start to change their mindsets to be more favourable toward bitcoin.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your number one struggle in making money with Cryptocurrencies? on: January 12, 2018, 03:05:52 PM
What are you struggling with? What are the painpoints or what makes you fail at making money with cryptocurrencies?  Huh

It's a bit of a misleading question because it implies losing money and I feel that most will be making money in cryptocurrencies, so I'll answer more as to how I don't make as much as I feel I could. The biggest difficulty I have in that is in always trying to do one more trade even when I can sense the market is starting to move away from where I want it to be. It often leaves me having to wait for things to recover longer than I'd like to.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lets speculate! Which is the next coin to boom ? on: January 11, 2018, 11:03:21 PM
So what alternate coins do you guys think will boom short(ish) term?
Im looking at Neo (formerly known as Antshares) - was introduced on the exchanges a couple of months ago, its hovering around 35-40$ right now.
That being said there are only 3-4 projects running on the platform so mass adaptation is to come!!

Looking back at ETH earlier this year, once it went above 50$ it started its moon ride to 400!!

Anyway, what do you guys think?

If I was seeing $35-$40 NEO then I would be thinking it was going to boom too but the price of NEO is actually over $100. I'm not sure where you got your information from but you might want to stop using that source.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Korea is getting ready to ban cryptocurrency trading. ruh roh on: January 11, 2018, 11:01:14 PM
The South Korean Justice Minister got ahead of himself. The Finance Minister has contradicted him saying there won't be a ban, just some regulation. There's a lot of panic selling going on, which is daft. A little regulation won't hurt, and it is HIGHLY doubtful that a ban will be enforced.

The panic selling is for exactly that reason though, he said they will effectively ban cryptocurrency trading but by the sounds of reading it myself it does not sound like that at all. Of course that's what the market will pick up on so well done Mr. Justice Minister. I hope he enjoys the cheap bitcoin he's about to buy!
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: All-in LindaCoin on: January 10, 2018, 09:08:56 PM
Hi guys. What do you think about this coin? Should I go all-in? The plots are very amazing. Going to wait for the lows and then buy as much as possible.

You shouldn't go all in on a coin, I was a bit skeptical of Linda coin, it doesn't seem like the sort of thing that has really established itself on the blockchain yet. Many financial type ICOs etc have success but education as of yet is unproven.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When do you think the Altcoin hype will end? on: January 10, 2018, 09:05:48 PM
When do you guys think this euphoria regarding Altcoins will end? Now, basically everywhere I go people are talking about crypto currencies, altcoins, ico's.. It's really a big hype now! New ICO's coming very often, when will it end? I think in like a year, 2 or 3 there won't be times like this anymore and only the giants will stay. Which ones in your oppinion? Do you even think this will end anytime soon?
Long live the Altcoins! Smiley

To me it seems like it's about to, a lot of red out there today. Many of the early and biggest pumpers like ripple, verge and cardano took a big hit yesterday/today. It would make sense for those to be first and the others to follow that pumped later.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: KNC is the future of cryptocurrency exchanges on: January 09, 2018, 05:13:03 PM
And so friends, we waited for the 1Q of 2018 and that means that soon Kyber Network will launch mainnet, that is will be officially announced about the launch of the exchange! What are your predictions? What do you think will happen to the price of the token KNC?

The price is already pumping in anticipation and I wouldn't be surprised to see $10 before the mainnet release. After that it can go one of two ways, if it's as great as people expect then the price will surely increase further, if the exchange doesn't deliver so well then I'm sure the price is probably due for a little correction but not too much. Let's not forget that the current DEX situation isn't great with etherdeltas issues.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: UTRUST (UTK) -- Hidden Gem? on: January 09, 2018, 05:08:26 PM
Hey Guys,

I found an amazing looking coin, UTRUST (UTK), that i wanted to share with you.

Their goal is to establish a de-facto payment platform in the cryptocurrency world and becoming a leading Fintech startup in digital payments.

It is currently traded on KuCoin only, but there will be other exchanges soon (OKEx already confirmed, coming in the near future). It has a circulating supply of 173,256,993 UTK (total supply 500.000.000 UTK) and current prince is around 1,02 $. Thats a 34,50% rise today and a rise of 85% in the last 7 days, but thats just the beginning.

In my opinion this coin can get easily to 5$, based on the quality of the project and the big community. But as always DYOR before putting your money in it.

I'm not getting paid or profit in any way with this post. Just wanted to give something back to the community, that helped me alot. (Of course i hold some UTRUST myself, but i'm not posting this to get the price to higher levels, but to bring this amazing project to your attention.)

Here are some links for your research:

Whitepaper: https://utrust.io/whitepaper

Twitter: https://twitter.com/utrust_official?lang=de

Website: https://utrust.io

CMC Page: https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/utrust/#markets

Utrust can be huge, they aim to compete with paypal and if they get even remotely close they will be a top 10 coin. The returns have already been huge for ICO participants but I feel this is still the beginning. This is easily a $10 coin and long term can reach $100.
