301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty talkies on: October 15, 2019, 06:25:19 PM
I lost fasith in bounties these days. In 2018, Credits gave me wonderful profits. Rest all are scammers or project team ditched their own projects by making strange marketing tricks.
Right, Credits is the most big successful project since 2018. Even it was top 5 ranking project in the last year. I was part of signature campaign and i got 6k$+ within only 5 weeks worked. Even it was my biggest payment ever. CS is the most promising project that's why still survived in the bearish market. I think a lot of projects success in this year. Why you didn’t get penny, unfortunately you worked in worthless projects.

$6k+ in just a 5 weeks of work is a very good amount of earnings in bounty these days, given the fact that it was during the bearish market when all new projects was so affected because investors are very skeptical on investing due to their bad experience after the bullish market and with some scam projects.

I was stuck on a shitty bounties since last year and 4 out of 7 campaign that I joined gave me a token with no value until now so I start joining on new campaigns now with assurance on payment just like the signature I wear right now because I got tired working on those project that promise a rewards but the chances of getting paid is 50/50 or even if you got paid the token has no value at all.
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No other currency on: October 15, 2019, 05:48:21 PM
in my opinion if there is no other cryptocurrency maybe bitcoin will not be able to develop as fast as it is now. because bitcoin has no competitors and developers will not update the system. so maybe bitcoin will stagnate. although the bitcoin market now controls the crypto market but in my opinion we still need altcoin to enliven the crypto market. and with altcoin makes investors more interested in investing because of the many choices.

You are right because of the altcoin hypes, people become more aware about Bitcoin and help the price grow due to the investors who bought Bitcoin first before investing it to other altcoin. Nevertheless, Bitcoin can still achieve what it has until now even without these altcoin but in a slower progress. Bitcoin already have a strong community even before the altcoin created but because of it's creation the community become more lively and Bitcoin supporters increased.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many ICO / altcoin scams? on: October 15, 2019, 04:38:50 PM
I think before jumping in cryptocurrency we must know the risk, the biggest risk is losing money.
So before invest we must have strong mentally, there is still a chance to get scammed, especially in ico.
ICO is free, cheap, everyone can open it,
that is different with IEO, it need verify from exchanges, also to listing it need bunch money. But there is still have any probability to be scam.
So never complain, keep move on!

Not just in cryptocurrency but any kind of investments involve risks and there is no other way around to avoid it but the idea of reducing the risk is possible by using some strategies, proper research and good decision making.

ICO's was hyped before the bullish market that happen in beetwen of late 2017 and early 2018 when a lot of new investors keep throwing their money on different ICO's and most of them dind't even analyze the projects concept or the team behind  it. They probably don't have any idea that there are lot of scammers lurking on this space due to it's nature of decentralization.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Prices of Bitcoin and Altcoin are down now ...? on: October 15, 2019, 04:09:32 PM
In my opinion the price of altcoin or bitcoin this year has experienced a pretty good increase, especially bitcoin has experienced a 3x increase in price. but the disappointment of people still talking about altcoin which until now still does not provide much benefit for investors and holders. all are still patient for profit . I still hold some altcoins that have the potential to sell when they are on target

I totally agree with you because if we compare the market of 2019 to 2018 (after the bull run) then most of us could still appreciate the current market. Bitcoin falls down around $3200 last year then it pulls back at the start of May 2019.

Some says that it's still good to buy now because something big might happen on March 2020 due to Bitcoin halving. I start holding Ether for now because I believe that the major upgrade will be the spark for the rise of Ethereum.
305  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't spend bitcoin. Not now. on: October 15, 2019, 05:36:14 AM

99% of the world's population still does not understand, do not know and do not trust Bitcoin. And everything is fine. Bitcoin adoption is a lengthy process that may take decades or centuries to happen.

I'm just wondering if at least 50% of the world population knows about Bitcoin or using it now then it will add traffic to Bitcoin network due to the increase of users, confirmation for every transcation will take long so my question is do we have solution for this?

Do not spend your Bitcoins. Not now.

Is there any perfect time to spend my Bitcoin? if there it is please enlighten me with your words..

I think OP's point is only applicable for holders who have a large amount of Bitcoin on their wallets because they are the one who benefit most when the price skyrocket. For me, I can't stop spending it because Bitcoin is one of the main payment method I used these days for paying anything online as long as Bitcoin is accepted which is one of the reason why it was created, right?
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What is the best coin buy now? on: October 15, 2019, 03:54:50 AM
It is better not to rely on someone to give you ideas on which cryptocurrencies to buy. It is better you research and do a thorough analysis based on both fundamental and technical before you venture to purchase any coin

I'm kinda agree with you though taking an advise from experts or friends will help you to choose a right coin but the final decision still lies on you because it is your responsibility to make a proper research before investing on a new coin and if things go sideways then there is no one to blame but yourself because you didn't ask someone to buy the coin for you.

Bitcoin is still good to buy as it was showing a signs for bullish run though adding other cryptocurrency on your portfolio is not a bad choice either because there is possibility that their price will go up too in the future.
307  Economy / Economics / Re: BEEN IN THIS GAME FOR 6 YEARS on: October 15, 2019, 03:27:46 AM
Well we can't please everyone to buy Bitcoin instead we can educate them to learn how this system works so they will knew about the benefits they could get from getting involve, I've been exposed to this super volatile market for almost 3 years and I have experience the ups and down during those years.

Having patience and trust in the system will be the key to become successful on your journey in crypto industry, we still have a long way to go for the mass adoption and we will see a lot of changes during the process but be proud of yourself since you are amongst the early adopters of this future technology.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: telegram is coming to blockchain too on: October 15, 2019, 02:32:29 AM
Guys! How to get some GRM tokens as cryptoworld is mad about GRAM, I wanna buy some for sure in my portfolio

You may think twice on buying Gram tokens after reading this news:

https://www.coindesk.com/sec-draws-on-investor-communications-to-halt-telegram-token-launch
https://www.coindesk.com/telegram-could-postpone-crypto-issuance-after-us-halts-token-sale

If this things continue then we can expect that Telegram token launch will not happen this year and some investors might pull back their investment just to be safe and stay away from SEC lawsuit.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Ethereum 2.0 Pulls Up Ether? on: October 15, 2019, 12:21:46 AM

Do you think this can be the answer we are looking especially on the question/concern of scalability?

This is one of the main issue that they are trying to solve with the major updates for Ethereum blockchain, many research have made and it seems they have found the solution by integrating a combination of sharding, plasma chain and state channels.

We have seen that Vitalik is continously coordinating with a lot of investors and once we got a confirmation that they made some investment for this up coming Ethereum upgrade then it means they see it as profitable that could pull up the price of Ether.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people are excited everytime we see a new coin without knowing it first on: October 14, 2019, 08:06:46 PM
Everytime there are coins that are being advertise we get excited
we make rumors and lots of noise without knowing it forst hand
we are just excited about the bounty , and sharing links to others
to make lots of refferal and bonus
but at the end of the campaign after we found out its a bust we then release are sentiments toward it, how it fails and the campaign
I think we should understand that everything are not perfect and we should be willing to move on after it , instead of wasting time and hate over the project this should be what we should do

In a bounty hunters point of view it's only natural to get excited every time there is a new project with bounties is introduced on this forum because they have given the chance to participate and earn their coins by simply doing some tasks. Most of the hunters do the job as quickly as they can due to the bounty staking calculation because the earlier you work with the project the more coin you could get at the end of campaign, they do researching during the campaign or sometimes they don't which lead for scam projects to get advertisement for free.
311  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting too emotional while trading crypto on: October 14, 2019, 07:29:40 PM
Emotion sometimes are out of our control, to much of it could break your momentum in trading. Maybe we can also consider young investors and inexperienced traders who has weaker decisions can also contribute to markets volatility.

Good point you have there lad! getting emotional on trading is natural because were not a robot but just a human being. Most of the traders could not avoid this trading emotions but became successful in the end because they have learn how to manage them.

Frustration is one of your enemy whenever you lose in trading and if you want to overcome this then you must start accepting the fact that not all of your trades will become succesful and take this as a lesson, you may also start analyzing where it went wrong and for sure it will helpful you on your future trades.
312  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin: Stress and Happiness on: October 14, 2019, 11:49:17 AM

How do you manage any possible stress coming from Bitcoin's volatility?

It could be really stressful for someone who holds a large amount of Bitcoin but that is the sacrifice you have to endure in order to gain from your investment, if you truly believe that Bitcoin will make a new ATH then don't monitor the price daily and just use some available tracker Apps that alerts you whenever Bitcoin price surge to be updated since the value of Bitcoin can change in just few hours.

Don't let the bad news ruin your belief and trust about Bitcoin but think that it is only a hindrance to Bitcoin's success.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Teams showing real faces to public can still scam you on: October 14, 2019, 10:53:42 AM
I am here to confuse people who still think that any new projects that entered crypto space with teams that are able to show their faces on videos and even attend good crypto seminars anywhere around the world have nothing to hide, and they think its real project and far from scam, well the biggest scams in crypto space are able to cater away with that huge money because many believes they are real, The ceo and teams coming out in publics to discuss about the projects doesn't erase the fact that they can scam you.
Bitconnect did the same thing and miracle tele joined too

I agree with what you've said because I've had some experience with the project named "Atlantico-network" which I believe that the CEO itself is just a guy who got paid by those scammers to show his face for their promotional videos and making some live AMA. I also found that they fake the amount they are raising during the token sale to attract their participants to invest  before the token runs out.

There is a good thing though for a team showing their faces to public because investors can use those videos as evidence when they file a case against them if ever the project turns out to be a scam.
314  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC- When it back to 20k on: October 14, 2019, 10:36:16 AM
Dear all,

I bought 2 BTC when it were 18k USD/1BTC and lost all my other assets with BCC 400usd.
I still have been keeping them with the belief that it will recover and over 20k.
it is too long time and that makes me so tired, i need money to invest a plan, but there is no money
Do you have any idea?

thanks

You bought BTC during the bullish market and still holding until now so I would suggest you to keep holding it until we reach the new ATH which might happen before or after the Bitcoin halving and I bet you can do that since you already endured the bearish market over the past year.

Don't lose hope in Bitcoin and it's technology because it will be fruitful in the long run, just remember that you're not the only one who suffer losses on Bitcoin investment but still most of them believes that everything will be worth it that is why they keep holding Bitcoin.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph main facebook page was closed or deleted? on: October 12, 2019, 06:34:12 PM
Two things they made it private or they have reported and Facebook take it down, Cointelegraph should make a formal announcement on what happen to their account, you can place 2 or more admins on a page I don't think all of them agreed to take down the page, it's either Facebook or they agreed to make it private for now while they are updating the page, they need Facebook page it's a good source of traffic for any online company.

Changing it into a private page could be the case since they didn't make any announcement from their end, aside from Cointelegraph facebook the other social media handle are very active so it's a bit weird that they didn't notice  the issue on their own facebook page. I'm reading a lot news regarding crypto via facebook which is why I'm aware when Cointelegraph disappear on my news feed.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph main facebook page was closed or deleted? on: October 12, 2019, 02:17:49 PM

It does happen when a fact checker sees a news site is spreading fake news and I guess the competitor reported them. This could just be a suspension as facebook will just warn those facebook page for several times before they will really close down for good it continues to violate.

Now I'm not sure if cointelegraph is really speeading fake news but what I'm saying is what probably had happen or it could be the cointelegraph deleted it.

Are you referring about this THREAD just found this on the forum and one of the user here accuse that Cointelegraph is spreading fake news then now their facebook page is not accessible so maybe the OP of that thread reported Cointelegraph though Coindesk facebook page is up, what do you think?
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What did you know about Bitcoin before becoming a bitcoiner? on: October 12, 2019, 11:59:16 AM
The first time I heard about Bitcoin is way back 2014, that is the time when I'm so addicted in spending cash on different online games and then one day a merchant of an online games item that I knew told me that he also accept Bitcoin as payment for the items that I was buying but I told him that I don't know about Bitcoin, the price of BTC is around $500 that time.

I do regret that I didn't make a proper research when the merchant told me about it because I just got involve in Bitcoin 2 years ago before the bull run started.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Cointelegraph main facebook page was closed or deleted? on: October 12, 2019, 11:23:23 AM
I am also unable to access the Cointelegraph Facebook page for me It is not important. One social media that is often used is Twitter, so Twitter can still be accessed and I can still see information from Cointelegraph.

Well I usually read news on Cointelegraph through my mobile and I rarely open my Twitter account but anyway thanks for your suggestion.

I doubt the facebook page blocked you. The page is not working at my end too but the Twitter page works fine.
I guess you have to go through their tweets. Maybe they already Twitted went wrong with their Facebook page.

I think they didn't blocked me on their page since other can't access it too and upon checking on their recent Tweets, I didn't see any news regarding their facebook page that went down.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Cointelegraph main facebook page was closed or deleted? on: October 12, 2019, 09:25:30 AM
It is on my end or did Cointelegraph-[EN] facebook page actually got closed or deleted? I've been reading a lot of news from this page for a long time and recently I discover that it was not showing any post on my newsfeed and when I tried to search the page, the only thing I can see is the other language version of the page. Not so sure if I was blocked though I've never comment on any of their posts.

Can anyone access the Cointelegraph facebook page? here is their official facebook link: https://www.facebook.com/cointelegraph which I got from their Twitter page https://twitter.com/cointelegraph

Edit: I just want to update you that Cointelegraph Facebook page [EN] https://www.facebook.com/pg/cointelegraph/ is now back and accessible (October 25,2019) so I'm locking this thread to avoid spam in the future.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto really go to zero? on: October 12, 2019, 08:47:18 AM
Which is why, I'm starting to wonder if crypto will really go to zero in the future? If this happens, then most of us will lose our hard-earned money as crypto becomes worthless. What are your thoughts? Huh

There are some circumstances that might stop the crypto for example a total banned of cryptocurrency from the government all over the world, losing internet connection forever and a World War between those big nations. So I think that the possibility of crypto going to zero or worthless is low since we have already a big community and supporters who will not let this happen, also day by day there are new comers who are getting involve in crypto industry after seeing it on different news portal.
