Imo this is very, very exaggerated that all altcoins are scam. I agree that there is too much fraud in crypto, but not every alt.
There are some great projects that are developing now, and they will be shown in the world only a few years later.
Thay trades already, but people dont notice them because they are buying Ripple or some other overrated shit

I dont like whan people says that maintaining the node is passive income or easy money.
No! First of all you should find a really good project with a really good team which can realize what they were talking about in their roadmap.
And then you should buy it low, as low as you can. It takes very, very long time. So I dont think it is passive

It hapenned as usual as I can draw conclusions - many newbies watch video on youtube made by "crypto-experts" and doing exactly what they are saying.
But the point is - all these experts are experts only on raising market. And then they keep silent.
No one wants to get to know how to trade, everyone wants fast results, fast money, easy gains

For beginning I should mention that Bitcoin and blockchain are different things(because I think you thought they are synonyms from your words).
Bitcoin is one of many manifestations of technology on which it is based. And maybe Bitcoin itself cant change the whole world(I think he can instead, but this is imho, so) but technology of logically-structured, determined, decentralized database - this is the treasure. And this can change many things

Maybe developer team focuses on other things that just money. Maybe there is something to fix or update.
If they change the date of coin destribution after ICO ending - yes, it can be serious cause to assume that project can become something near fraud.
But if they are changing dates when they had not collected any amount of money - it is ok, nothing to worry about

I think that there will be no airdrops soon. Too many scam coins/tokens. Just for e-mail and telegram base collection.
There were some great projects that were destributed by airdrop, but that is really small quantity among all.
All good things cant be destributed for free, you need to pay for them

As the saying goes - two sides of one medal. Young generation is open for new technologies and everything new.

The poin is - there are already if not new bitcoins but new ethereums that will make you rich in a distance. Just search for something meaningful, and you will be highly rewarded for holding

Its all about currency and team, Crypterium in case of topic starter. If the team have great project and every day of their life they are doing something to reach their goals - it is just matter of time when it can make xxx. But if not - it is real lost, and its better to sell it on nearest pump.
Just look on Litecoin. These people who bought high - they had the chance to have their money back, even if it was a few years later. So I recomment to hold if the coin is worth it

I dont think that ripple is the best choice between Etherium, Ripple and Litecoin.
And in my opinion ripple is not even cryptocurrency as it is. Eth and ltc - yes, but not xrp.
Choosing from these three coins, I will better have litecoin. Because I dont see any perspective for eth(if developer team will not work on chain, but if they do, the will need to make another fork, so this will be not eth anymore), I dont consider ripple to be crypto, so Litecoin is my chioce, I like it.

As you said you use Binance and Bittrex, I prefer Binance now because it is the most attractive(from many points) centralized exchange for me at this moment. I also have accounts on Poloniex, Bittrex and Bitfinex, but Binance is much more better, maybe because I'm used to it

Airdrop requires maybe much more free time than bounty. Why?
Because you can spend 1 month - on bounty or airdrop. From airdrop you can receive 1/10 and it will be something near 5 bucks. From bounty - if you choose the right project, you can make a good profit for your time, what I cant say about airdrops.

Everyone thinks that product is important thing before ICO landing.
I got another point of view. I think idea is the most important. When project with idea enters the market - they show who they are, they show what they want to do and how it can change the world, and they need to realize it.
When project with completed product enters ICO - I dont know WHY They already made it, why they need extra money? They can find it in other places.
And I really dont know which position I like more.
