301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO bitcointalk bounty campaign for Newbies on: January 10, 2018, 11:01:17 AM
Not that I know of, but you should not worry as you're very close to becoming a Jr. member. You merely need 6 more posts (don't spam of course), and you will rank up. Once doing so, there will be so many bounties that will be open to you, like the one I'm participating in, Envion.
302  Other / Off-topic / Re: what will you do when you are in a bad mood? on: January 10, 2018, 10:57:10 AM
I usually take a nap, or I will do an exercise such as going for a run or pull ups. Sometimes, I will watch a comedy to cheer me up, such as Family Guy or the Simpsons.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Ether Wallet is not Compromised - What the FUD? on: January 10, 2018, 10:50:43 AM
Ethereum Blue was just spreading FUD, and MyEtherWallet has since come out with a statement that their wallet is safe to use. Since then, Ethereum Blue has deleted a few of their tweets, likely to fix the mess they made out of it.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hottest ICOs January - February on: January 10, 2018, 10:49:27 AM
I would suggest BeeToken, sort of like Airbnb but a decentralized version. Their pre-sale sold out within 3 minutes, so yeah it is pretty popular. Also would recommend Envion, they are raising funds to build mobile mining units which will be placed in locations with a surplus of electricity. You should research both of them, I feel that they are pretty interesting and have a use in this world.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is KuCoin scalping us??? on: January 10, 2018, 10:45:18 AM
Thanks for the post, I use Kucoin and will keep an eye on their fees. Have you tried recalculating to ensure there are no errors in your calculations?
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anyone from icorating/icoranker in this forum? on: January 10, 2018, 10:43:12 AM
Have you tried to contact the manager of the website through the website itself? Anyway, it is very unlikely they will remove HOQU from their website just because of one complaint. Has anyone else participating the HOQU ICO faced a situation such as yours?
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Swap bitcoin to alts on: January 10, 2018, 06:48:08 AM
Now that the Bitcoin value has dipped in 2018, I think the other way round should be done. Alts should be switched for Bitcoin especially since the altcoin run seems to be at its end. Hopefully this is the right decision though haha.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: good time to take a rest from crypto on: January 10, 2018, 06:43:24 AM
I think it is good to sell some off and convert it to fiat, one can only stay focused on this bull market for such a long time. However, I personally am selling part of my alts for Bitcoin, and planning on holding it for the long term.
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How good is the ZRX team? on: January 10, 2018, 06:41:03 AM
ZRX seems to be made up of a very capable team, and I believe in them. They communicate well with their community and this has proven its worth when the coin has been breaking resistance levels for the past few weeks.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How can we know that the market will go down like these days? on: January 10, 2018, 06:39:20 AM
You can't determine for sure, as no one has a crystal ball which can predict the future. However, it would be useful to watch the market and keep updated with the news. If lots of bad news is coming out of it, you could likely say that the market will be dipping, and then you may sell to secure yourself. However, that is not always the case.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 10, 2018, 06:37:38 AM
I still believe in ICO's but I'm very selective when it comes to choosing one to invest in. In the fourth quarter of 2017, I participated in the dragonchain ICO and by far it was one of the best even though it was an uncapped one. Returns have been extremely great thus far. In 2018, I'm sure there will be good ICO's too, and I believe Envion is a good pick, though my opinion may be bias since I'm wearing their signature. Anyhow, you should do your own research before investing in any ICO.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What encourages you to invest in any altcoin? on: January 10, 2018, 06:32:43 AM
I usually look out for the project and the use cases it has in everyday lives. Also, I look at the team and see how experience they are. Community also plays a role, so I look at their social media channels to determine whether the team converses with their supporters, if they do then I believe the team is serious about their project.
313  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Do you think ISIS uses Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2018, 06:30:41 AM
I'm sure ISIS uses Bitcoin. Some people even the fund the organization by providing them with Bitcoin and other altcoins. Like every technology, Blockchain will be used for bad causes and also good causes.
314  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think bitcoin redistributes wealth or just makes the wealthy richer? on: January 10, 2018, 06:23:31 AM
It is definitely not redistributing wealth, it is merely making the rich people richer, though it also does make other regular people rich too. So I guess in a way it helps create rich people, while also helping the rich make more money.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Dogecoin is the new Bitcoin on: January 10, 2018, 06:22:02 AM
Haha this must be a joke, if it is, good one. Really can't believe that some people still keep dogecoin in their portfolios, and the worst part is that it takes up a large percentage of it. Development of the coin is essentially dead, so there is no reason for people to keep believing in it.
316  Economy / Economics / Re: What happens when there is NO electricity? How does one trade with BTC? on: January 10, 2018, 06:20:33 AM
Transactions on the blockchain simply won't be possible in such dire situations where there is no electricity, also means no Internet. Therefore, I think fiat currency will always be around in case such situations where the blockchain can't be accessed arises.
317  Economy / Economics / Re: DON'T DO PANIC SELLING !!! on: January 10, 2018, 06:16:38 AM
People who panic sell, are the ones who lose the most amount of money. Money always shift from the ones with weak hands to the ones with strong hands, especially in the crypto market. Best to just hodl our Bitcoin holdings.
318  Economy / Economics / Re: What are the effects of Korean prices being removed from coinmarketcap.com? on: January 10, 2018, 06:12:55 AM
It was merely a short term effect. As coinmarketcap didn't do any prior announcement, lots of people thought that the price was dropping and sold their holding due to fear. Once that happened, the price actually dipped, though it has since regained some of the losses of yesterday.
319  Other / Off-topic / Re: What do you think about an inter-racial relationship? on: January 10, 2018, 05:30:36 AM
No qualms about it. If it is love, then great for them. On top of that, they get to experience the culture of their significant other, so that is also a plus. Also, inter-racial babies are pretty cute haha.
320  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcointalk Job Market?! on: January 10, 2018, 05:23:58 AM
Yeah it would be great, but many on this forum wish to remain anonymous, so I don't think it will work to great effect. But if a thread is started, I will definitely support your cause! Great idea.
