621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to Hold these on: January 03, 2018, 11:37:39 PM
These tokens/ coins may start pumping, unless the whole market in general begins to crash, then all coins will lose significant value.
622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Money on: January 03, 2018, 11:35:52 PM
However, some just dump their payouts on an exchange to make a quick buck, crashing the price occasionally. I joined a few bounties and so far the tokens I've received have rose pretty steep in price.
623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help with masternode decision) on: January 03, 2018, 11:33:26 PM
of course. My budget is around 10k. Also possible to buy 1 bigger and 1 or 2 smaller (cheaper) mn.

Hmm, maybe you could try Syndicate (SYNX). Their masternode costs about $3.7k at the moment and the project seems interesting.
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BINANCE....Can you buy altcoins by using other altcoins???? on: January 03, 2018, 11:25:08 PM
thanks for the replies!

i transferred ETH from Gdax, but it's been over 4 hours and it still hasn't shown up. anybody seen this before?

The network could be clogged with transactions at the moment, which is why it's taking a long time. Check whether your transaction has been successful on Etherscan. However, if it takes any longer, you should contact Binance about your funds as they are on the receiving end.
625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy and Hold 100 Cryptocurrencies for 5 Years – Official Thread on: January 03, 2018, 10:57:15 PM
Wow seems like a really interesting idea, but also really tedious to update it everyday. Did you buy the top 100 coins or others?

Yes I got the top 100 coins at the time I started the experiment

Will you sell any of your holdings if lets say one of companies behind one of the coins closes? Or will you just continue holding.
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very good message about Ripple (XRP) on: January 03, 2018, 10:54:35 PM
While I think Ripple isn't good for crypto, I think it is here to stay especially since it has the backing of a number of banks. Maybe even more banks will jump in the coming months.

That's my doubt too. but people keep investing in it for profits. one of my friends also invested , I warned him. he doesn't listen. but he is planing to sell once price hit $10. but I don't know whether it hits @10.

Yeah, a lot of people are into crypto for the profit gains, and not for the tech behind it, which is sad as our community will not progress if it continues to be like this.
627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Bee Token Pre-sale Sold Out In 3 Minutes on: January 03, 2018, 10:52:18 PM
I honestly didn't expect this ICO to get that amount of attention from investors. Since the pre-sale is sold out, will they proceed with the main sale?

Honestly a great project. Even before the presale happened they had to close their presale signup to participate. They will be having their public sale on January 31st. I would join their telegram group because they announce everything on there. The whitelist and KYC will be the middle of this month. https://t.me/beetoken

Thanks for the heads up man. Seems like a novel idea, it's a pity they had to cease their bounty campaign though haha.
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the worst ICO of 2017? on: January 03, 2018, 10:48:18 PM
I think the Monetha ICO was pretty bad. Not because their product is bad, it's the way they handled the ICO. There were no individual cap so it was sold out within minutes and mostly whales bought into it.

I didn't watch their ICO honestly but I can count you couple of more tge that sold out in minutes. For this we can't blame their official teams. They do their best to sell their project, that's it.

I have no problem with it being sold out within minutes, it was just the way the team managed the whole ICO. Wasn't really professional of them. Also the price of the token crashed once it hit the exchanges.
629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: help with masternode decision) on: January 03, 2018, 04:33:33 PM
It depends on what your budget is. Would you mind sharing your budget then maybe people will have a better idea of what masternode to suggest to you.

631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOT ICO OF 2017-2018 IF U STILL NOT PARTICIPATED JOIN NOW on: January 03, 2018, 04:28:54 PM
Just to let you know, the DragonChain token sale concluded in early November. It has since been listed and the price has gone up like 12X if I'm not mistaken.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your experience with Binance? on: January 03, 2018, 04:14:13 PM
I recently started using Binance, and I really like the interface. It is fluid and easy to use, making trading easy. Also, their volume for coins is very high, which is a plus. There are many altcoins listed on it too.
633  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Direct Messages from ICO on: January 03, 2018, 04:08:41 PM
Yeah, I've been getting a number of these over the past few weeks, but I usually just ignore them. I think they do qualify as spam though since they're unsolicited messages.
634  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: DO THIS IF YOU WANT TO BENEFIT THE COMMUNITY on: January 03, 2018, 04:06:11 PM
While your idea is noble, I doubt companies like Google will create their own crypto anytime soon. Spamming these people will likely just get yourself blocked or maybe they might even change their e-mail address haha.
635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I hold my altcoin for years in my wallet? on: January 03, 2018, 03:47:47 PM
Depends on whether the company survives or not, and if it delivers its goals. If the company fails, the value of the altcoin will plummet, but it will remain in your wallet. So you may keep an altcoin for years, but it depends whether it is worth keeping or not.
636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will alts crash again ? on: January 03, 2018, 03:45:00 PM
I'm sure altcoins, or at least some will crash in the future, especially if Bitcoin has a bull run, or someone decides to fork Bitcoin once more, then a crash is a possibility.
637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think alts will be anonymous for long? on: January 03, 2018, 03:21:31 PM
Yes, I believe alt coins will remain as anonymous, as governments have no way of controlling them at the moment.
