481  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's your opinion of gun control? on: January 06, 2018, 09:29:15 AM
I believe that some sort of gun control should be placed, where stricter background checks are carried out and such. However, a total ban on guns would just cause a rebellion to occur.
482  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Will ever there be World Peace? on: January 06, 2018, 09:27:18 AM
Don't think it will be possible anytime soon to achieve such a feat. Some people are just born to create violence and havoc in this world. Maybe in the next few hundred years, that might happen but who knows.
483  Other / Politics & Society / Re: How to be contented on what you have? on: January 06, 2018, 09:25:59 AM
I guess to contented with what you have, you'll need to live a very simplistic life. Also, observe others who are in dire need and help them, and maybe you'll feel lucky to have whatever you have.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: What's the reason behind this mass price rise? on: January 06, 2018, 09:20:55 AM
I think it is because a lot of institutional money is being pumped into the crypto market, which in turn is giving the public some sense of confidence to invest in the crypto market. Therefore, big rise in prices.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: January 06, 2018, 09:05:53 AM
So, the big crash of 2016 didn't come? I feel like the economy is no longer THAT dependant on oil anymore, compared to last time. Price of oil does affect some countries though, and I guess the big crash did affect Venezuela though.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE A NASTY DIVORCE AND A FAT BTC WALLET? on: January 06, 2018, 09:02:51 AM
Depends on whether your wife was good to you in your marriage or not and deserves to have some of it. I would probably not reveal it though, or maybe reveal a smaller wallet lol.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: good effect and bad effects of robots in replacing human Jobs on: January 06, 2018, 09:00:41 AM
Good effects would be that things will be done more efficiently and can be done for a longer period of time as they wouldn't need to rest. As for the bad, humans will be at a lack of jobs, though new job sectors will open where it deals with robots and such.
488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing Entire Portfolio in Altcoins on: January 06, 2018, 08:55:00 AM
It is great to invest in altcoins, but I definitely do not recommend you to invest your ENTIRE portfolio into them. Bitcoin will continue to rise and it is good to keep it.
489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 06, 2018, 08:53:41 AM
Definitely not, BTC is considered as the father of all cryptos, and I believe it will stay on top for many years to come. Ethereum on the other hand, may see its market cap surpassed if other platforms better than it are able to market themselves out there.
490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have I missed the XRP, XLM train? on: January 06, 2018, 08:50:43 AM
Don't think so, if they prove their worth, the price may keep rising. However, price can't rise forever and I'm sure there is a dip incoming where you can buy in.
491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Retrieved 5000 Stellar Lumens. What do I do now? on: January 06, 2018, 07:18:40 AM
I would hodl it. Maybe sell a little if you feel like it, but I would definitely hodl the majority of it since you didn't spend any money buying it.
492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance "upgrading"? Can't get back into web site... on: January 06, 2018, 07:12:28 AM
No, don't worry about it mate. Binance was just doing some upgrading works as there has been a massive influx of new sign ups over the past few weeks. The exchange is back to normal now, you should be able to login.
493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO help on: January 06, 2018, 07:11:08 AM
It stands for Initial Coin Offering, and is similar to an IPO, whereby instead of company shares, the company offers tokens to investors in the hope that these tokens will rise in value. However, there are many ICO's taking place nowadays and it is best to buy in to one with caution.
494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple Co-Founder becomes the worlds richest person on: January 06, 2018, 07:08:35 AM
Wow that's a lot of money. His networth is probably gonna plummet in the coming weeks though once Ripple dips after that massive bull run.
495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is verge (XVG) a safe investment? on: January 06, 2018, 07:06:28 AM
It seems pretty good as a privacy coin and I think the price will dip soon. Best time to buy some up then. Definitely a long term hodl.
496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Lowcap tip: 3 million coins. Price: $0,20. Virtual Reality DAO owned by all on: January 06, 2018, 07:05:05 AM
Try checking out other low cap coins such as AEON, CAG, MSP. They all have different use cases and I think they have pretty solid teams and a defined roadmap.
497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoin bounty, is it a form of money laundering? on: January 06, 2018, 05:00:54 AM
I don't think it's considered money laundering. It's basically a marketing campaign where they pay us to participate by promoting their project on social media platforms.
498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to Crypto on: January 06, 2018, 04:55:11 AM
I would recommend you check out their social media channels too, as it is an indicator of how committed they are to their community. Size of their channels are also a good sign of whether or not they have the backing of the people.
499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now Is The Time To Invest Your Life Savings In Cryptocurrency. $150,000 invested on: January 06, 2018, 04:53:48 AM
Wow, if I was you, I really wouldn't put my life savings into crypto. While profits may be good, the market is unpredictable and may just cause you to lose everything. Also, where do you get all these analysis from?
500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hello BitcoinTalk!! Want to ask some serious stuff. on: January 06, 2018, 04:51:41 AM
Follow news website which are related to crypto. One good one is Cointelegraph. Also, you may follow some crypto enthusiasts groups on Telegram where they talk about the latest trends and such. On a side note, I would drop that Doge bag, the development team is inactive. As for selling and hodling. I sell part of my stakes to cover my initial investment when I've made a 40- 50% profit on a coin. Welcome to the world of crypto btw.
