sooooo, i have a S9 with one broken board (nothing to see, just wond come up anymore). Suppose when i do this, i'll upgrade it to its almost original with 12Th instead of 13.5 Now, since i miss one board, can i say the power draw is 1600 watts then? (2/3rd of 23000 That would be great, as the bitmain is 1600W...

it IS great!!
Can someone explain me how a block gets fat or not? I hear transactions etc. but isnt it just a list of all transactions that every block carries with it? (so all should be approximately equal?)
thanks.

After february bearish months everyone was talking about how green the market will be in march March passed, They started talkin about how april is going to be awesome for the market. April passed, may passed, we had small bull traps, I am not even sure if this year going to be green again.I am in the disbelief cycle
+1 Nobody really gives a good analisys other that "i hope" "i think" and "i believe" great... I do the same every month with the lottery...

Hello there, it's looking great what you have there. i also want to mine soon but i have a question for you. how to get somuch power u needed for. i live in a simple house i think i got 3x25a coming in the house. need some for dryer/washer tv etc so how many s9 can attached to powernetwork at home u think. is it profitable if i buy lets say 2 of them i see they are around 600 euro each. what should be the earnings at yearly bases i have. i have also 20ct kwh.
Hi, at 20 cents/kwh, you should at least make what you use, so 1,1kw/h makes 22cents an hour. At 24 hours it has to make roughly 5,5 euro's a day to break even, and thats the point we're at right now. Its up to your belief if the coins rise, and if you can pre-pay the used electricity yourself, in order to cash in at the new ATH and make a bigger profit over your mining-time. Remember: the only thing that counts for mining, is the point you choose to transfer your coins into fiat. Then, and only then, you can determine if your mining was profitable. All the other theories are just what they say: theories... About the power: if you have 3x25A, wich is very common, you can at least use 3 miners, maybe 6 if you plan well. You can upgrade to at least 3x35, and if you are really serious, you can ask for even more. So yes, it is doable. dont forget heat, ventilation, sound, and neighbors!

Genious or crazy? The fridge could be a good idea for temperatures, however cold/hot would create some humidity problems
WHO says im using the fridge to cool it? I use the 4 inches thick laminated walls and sealed 4 inches thick door as a perfect insulated box with cold (environment) air blow in compartment, and hot (back side of miners) suck out compartment with a rooftop fan, used in restaurants and industry...

solar power is useless if it comes to mining....(unless you have a big barn/shed where you can put 100's on...) electricity i dont know exactly, as we pay for a year. itavearges on 20cents/kwh (eur's) Profitable? Not at the moment.... But i have big claws that stick deep into the tree the're shaking right now, so i don't intend to fall out. At the end is profability a no brainer. If you just keep your coins (read: are able to pay your electric from your income), its just a matter of time. Profitability can only be calculated at the point you exchange your coins... So, if you need to exchange them every moth to pay your bills, its not profitable. If you can pey all your bills, hold your coins, and exchange them when they reach a new ATH, you're doing great... And the last is myintention.

Ja. One odd thing about the Moose - what kind of power connector is that using? I've been designing industrial power equipment (lasers) for decades and have never seen a 5-pin power connector like that. Is it 3-phase w/neutral and ground? The ad copy says nothing about 3-phase, just that it takes 380-418VAC in.
Yes, it's 3 phase. We call it CEEform connectors. Waterproof for outside, used on machinery etcetera. 3 phase neutral and earth. They also exist in 4 pin, 3 phase and earth, no neutral. Red is 400 volts, blue is 230 volts. they come is 16A and 32A as shown, 63A has a screw to secure the plug, as the same 125A has as well.

gee... We had a real quick block, but right now it seems we have a hard as a diamond again... Is it me, or are we having bad luck lately? last week only 3 blocks... This game required patience, look at the horizon, not your feet. maybe true, but every now and then its very hard to do so... I just hope you're all right...

Hello,
I have some s9's, and the connction of the front and rear fan are different on some. Now, previously someone told me that it doesnt matter where front and rear fan are connected to, but i think it actually does. The fans have different amount of blades, and current is different as well. So, can anyone tell me which connector is for the frontfan, and which one is for the rear? Awesome miner gives on some different speeds also, and some are equal.
Most logic to me, is that the more blades, the lower speed should be correct?
Anyone?

hey, guys, if anyone needs S9 for parts-see my ad in marketplace-mighty cheap. one board might be even functional since it's the plugs on that one that got roasted, not the board itself. Cheers.
Hey, do you need a tool to repair boards? yes i do. can you PM me?

For trading platforms you can only use the buy or sell option and withdraw after you have successfully bought your cryptocurrency.
Okay... What platforms do you just buy or sell a coin then, like litebit andcoinbase..? i want to know and subscribe before btc reaches its new ath... (loooooong way to go... )

but why? i dont see why private miners cant buy a few asics, instead uf gpu? if enough miners place some asics next to their gpu miners, it would be just as de-centralised... with current asic prices this shouldnt be an issue as well...

is the S9 and/or S9i compatible with asicboost? cant find positive news anywhere.
Existing equipment will continue to work the same after Kano works out the problems with asicboost in the pool code. It will be an added feature to allow those asicboost-only machines to work...not a restriction on existing equipment. Hi, thanks for expanation. I didnt ask out of fear of restrictions, but more curious if it would improve performance of the S9 / S9i as well. Anyone knows if a firmware upgrade would do the trick? Or is asicboosted equipment just that; asicboost only, specially manufactured?

How's the weather and what are the temperatures of your S9?
What part of the world R U in?
Europe. Today its about 25-27 centigrade. Awesomeminer gives average of 80 degrees. some 77, some 82. All s9. A3 runs quite hot. About 93 deg. In evening and night it drops to 20 degrees. Miners are around 70 centigrade then.
