301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you ready to use cryptocurrency in everyday life? on: November 12, 2018, 08:08:04 PM
Cryptocurrency is not yet 100% legalized in many countries, but are you psychologically ready to use it every day? Are you ready to get paid in the crypto? In your opinion, when will the dollar era end, and we will be able to fully use the cryptocurrency on a daily basis?

Thanks for the replies.
Ever since i have been in the crypto space, i have always found it interesting and it has been part of my everyday life. So it won't be strange if i find myself in a situation where i am to use it everyday.
Dollar era might nit end, but cryptocurrency has come to stay.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs in 2018 not same as 2017. on: November 12, 2018, 07:56:31 PM
this is my own opinion but it may help others.

I have found that all the ICOs i have invested in have launched at almost the ICO price but in a few days dipped below the ICO prices by half or 5X for some.

With this i have discovered its better not to invest in an ICO but wait for the launch and the DIP to buy it at the corrected prices made by market forces.
Its just too hard to tell the real or recommended value of a token in an ICO these days.

Hope this helps to the new investors thinking of ICOs
Cryptocurrency is not ponzi, where everything is fixed and then an eventual total crash. It is an investment that involves supply and demand, which i would also call a form of market place. Whereas, a normal  market does not also have fixed or continuous increase in price, you should expect the same with crypto.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most trusted altcoins? on: November 12, 2018, 06:40:54 PM
Hi there are too many coins in crypto
It makes difficult to find out which one is trusted which is not
So please suggest me the name of altcoins which you will find most trusted and profitable
It helps me a lot
Thanks
Before you can be sure a coin suggested to you will "help you a lot," you would need to also make findings on anyone that is suggested to you. You can give a trial to XYO and OMX, i believe you will be glad you did.
304  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fear of ethereum on: November 11, 2018, 02:57:36 PM
Looking at the forum for a while now, there have been so much thread about ethereum, fear of what will become of ethereum, some have even lost confidence in ethereum, the founder himself is not helping situation with what he said about the future of ethereum. A newbie will surely have is doubt about eth after reading all this.Do you think all these will have negative effect on Eth when bull run finally come for crypto market?
Are you sure that the founder of ethereum truly said something against ethereum. I think we should always confirm every information before believing them.
Then to to issue of people being scared that ethereum might fall totally, i am sure you are also scared, but i would say with confidence that if ethereum would crash, it would have happened long time ago. I still believe it will rise.
305  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to invest long term aside from Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2018, 02:53:12 PM
Hi, good day guys! Newbie here so I'm asking you to help me with my long term investment. Aside from bitcoin, where should I invest my money and Why?
You can search through coinmarketcap an invest in any of the top 100 coins. Then even if you have found what to invest in , you should consider investing that which you can afford to loose, which is normal for all forms of investment and not only cryptocurrency.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy altcoins or not? on: November 11, 2018, 02:48:55 PM
Should we invest in altcoins?and why?which is better altcoins or equity shares?
It depends on your choice. If you truly have enthusiasm for crypto or you belong to the crypto world, you would invest in crypto, most especially altcoins. There is nothing wrong in investing on altcoins. Just ensure you have done proper research before investing.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China lifts ban on cryptocurrency on: November 11, 2018, 02:45:41 PM
A good news is back from the most populated and powerful country in the world. China lifts ban on cryptocurrency, individuals and businesses can own crypto now legally. I believe this change will impact on the market value and it may go up now.
Kindly include a source.
I am asking for your own source, because there is a counter report that was published two days ago that China has not lifted ban on cryptocurency.

Always make proper findings or research before bringing up any report.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: most promising coin of crypto world. on: November 07, 2018, 08:33:25 PM
I am sure that the coin that will become the most promising in the world has not yet been created. In the current period of 2018, I am giving away the title of the most promising coin for EOS. In my portfolio 15% EOS.
This is more like an adage - the beautiful ones are not yet born. Well do not wait until you see an angelic coin fall from above. The ones presently at your disposal, make use of them. There are so many of them that can bring you great fortune.
309  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise again in 2019 on: November 07, 2018, 08:27:33 PM
bitcoin will rise again in 2019.

seeing the development of bitcoin at the end of the year is indeed very worrying for investors to remain strong for now because bitcoib in early 2019 will rise again ...

What do you think??
There is every tendency for it to rise to an appreciable price before this year ends and i can also see that 2019 is promising. Bitcoin will surely surge. Some people are truly discouraged, but only the strong and those who are patient will enjoy it most.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects are abusing blockchain technology. on: November 06, 2018, 10:28:38 PM
I have been just in the crypto world for 5 months. I have tried to learn about blockchain, bitcoin, altcoins,... and I realize that blockchain is being abused.

Many projects are launched with the ideas of using blockchain. But actually, blockchain is not necessary to implement their projects. It just seems to follow the trend of tokenization. And their tokens are utility tokens, real "utility", which are utilized to raise their funds. There is no reality application of blockchain. I think everything will be good if it is enough. Will blockchain become worst if they continuely abuse it?

What do you think about this problem?
G
For the project that do not have correlation with blockchain, it is now left for investors to always do their research before investing into any of such project. There are definitely lots of them out there now.
311  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BOUNTY, how it works? on: November 06, 2018, 10:22:51 PM

Hello, friends.
I think one of you was involved in the Bounty, so I have a small question for you.
What do you think, how to properly conduct bounty, with which platforms and social networks it is better to work?
Should I connect bloggers?
Well, i think there are some bloggers with lots of subscribers, but you have to be careful when it comes to that. The reason being that, there are some who have fake and inactive subscribers. Meanwhile, they may tell you that they have thousands of subscribers, while you might not get anything of of it.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I stopped trading. 3 reasons why. on: November 06, 2018, 10:15:17 PM
I started playing blockchain games (not gambling).

It could be called another addiction but I don’t care. I do like it much more. It interesting and funny. It seems like blockchain games take too much time and money. However, it’s not! Trading and bounty take waaaayyyyyy more!
Crypto gambling projects are now gradually coming up. These crypto gaming sites very soon will gain more relevance and we will continue to see some developers making or lunching their works in line with this, because it will be profitable in the long run.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The fall of cryptocurrency on: November 06, 2018, 10:00:31 PM
What about the crypt? tell me when it will unfold? Or give a sign at least some, because I'm already beginning to think about quitting the game.
Cryptocurrency is for strong minds and not just strong hands. This is a time you need to make a firm decision, whether to stay or leave. My advise for you is if you truly want the best for yourself, try to endure whatever difficulty you might be facing and wait to get the best.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum be more stable in the future? on: November 05, 2018, 11:03:47 PM
Ethereum is young in relation to bitcoin, its market capitalization continues to grow every day. Ethereum became very popular when many tokens started using their smart contracts. Many ICOS are based on the Ethereum platform. Will it be more stable in the future? What do You think about this?
I believe work is ongoing to ensure its steady and good growth. Ethreum has been in the limelight for quite some time now and with the advent of new development on it, just as anounced by co-developer of ethereum and other developments coming up, ethereum will definitely surge more.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Red market held back New ICOs getting in now? on: November 05, 2018, 10:46:59 PM
Recently we had many ICOs getting in with best projects getting listed on exchanges successfully but their value did not even cross the ICO price. I predict that this trend stopped new ICOs getting in with their innovative projects assuming they might loose their values if they pitch in during this crisis moment. What do you think?
A good coin that is listed at this time of bear now, can only loose it's price, i.e, the ICO price, but not its value. Such coin should be allowed to face the challenges at this time and when the market get better, they will be able to sail through easily.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: November 05, 2018, 10:42:46 PM
Cryptocurrency is not meant for weak hands and i am not surprised seeing some people, most especially the weak hands recording losses. The reason is not far fetched from the fact that they are not meant for crypto or that crypto is not meant for them.
Learn to be courageous and avoid spreading FUD.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My thoughts on bounty rewards on: November 04, 2018, 11:31:05 PM
I still don't get the main reason why people picks on the bounty hunter that they dump their coin whenever they received them.
My question is why do you have to complain on me selling or holding, do you have to decide what a worker should do with his or her earned money as if you both share same bills.

And if possible that their are a lot of dumper which partake in a particular bounty maybe just 60% of them in a 1% share of the total supply, so someone should explain affect the market price.

You guys just have to let we hunters be and sell at our convenient time.
Well, you can choose and decide on what to do with your tokens, but it will be to your own advantage, if you use it well, instead of just dumping at any useless price.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: REBELLIOUS Discussion Thread on: November 04, 2018, 11:29:14 PM
Can any one give information why the REBL price dropped that much and volume is almost zero? I am banned from their telegram so i don't know what happened. Did they scam? Wish i had sell these 4k REBLs at $700 Sad
Are you still on this coin? Rebellious coin is just one of the shit coins we have around. I participated in it too, but i dumped it long time ago, since there are better coins out there.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: HODLing will get you nowhere on: November 04, 2018, 11:26:35 PM
The past week, as I've been looking to invest in recently finished ICOs since most of their prices are way below ICO price, I noticed the same thing mentioned over and over in their telegram channels.

People screaming: HODL!!!  It will moon someday!!!!

Another one that is common: When BINANCE!?!?! If only we were on Binance!!!

This makes me laugh inside.  Crypto is not a magical place where all coins will eventually rise in value if you just hold on to them.

Most ICOs did very poorly the last 3 months.  The ones that did the worst were the ones that started in January
Now, a lot of these startups are underfunded and could only list in low volume exchanges and seeing their prices crash to ridiculously low prices.
And everyone is crying on their Telegram.

Listen very closely yo: The price will never rise if everyone HODls!

Prices are boosted through supply and demand and if a vast majority of people who own the coin are not trading it, than you are severely cutting in to that chain.

Instead of Hodling, you should be buying and making strategic trade choices.

Well, holding is a common phenomenon in the crypto space, but that does not mean it doesn't work. It has worked for me and it is still working. There were times i even blamed myself for not holding. Just know what to hold.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do traders pay income taxes? on: November 04, 2018, 11:24:09 PM
I'd like to start trading, but what happens when you get profit from a new coin? you pay taxes as individual (like capital gain) or you must open a registered company?
Since cryptocurrency is decentralized, traders can't be pinned down directly by any government agencies, to get taxes from them. Except the exchange they are using decides to charge them indirectly, because exchanges can still be charged the government agencies.
