So the big walls are gone. Didn't someone get tired of that shit and beat them at their own game? Someone just bought it all up, even if at a loss, to stop the nonsense. Kinda like when your kid is being loud/annoying with their favorite toy, and you snap and take it away from them.

Why worry about the minute to minute price? Just put your sell order in at whatever you want to sell at and let it ride. It'll sell when it hits it. This way if you're lucky it'll hit on a spike and you won't have to rush to get an order in.
I have 100k, put 75,000 on a sell for 1100sat., will keep 25k long term.

So being listed on cryptsy, which first you said you didn't want, then you did want. And now you don't care anymore, was "a few days away" for weeks now. Won't be for "months" now?
Why the lag? I think pretty much everyone wants it on a major exchange.
And everyone who's been harping on "we opened at 250, being at 220 now isn't so bad". Um start and end numbers don't mean shit without looking what's inbetween. Yes. 250 to 8-900, then back to 300. The problem is that it's been in a steady decline for the past week. No blips, no real signs of turning around. Pretty linear decrease. It looks bad to investors and miners. It makes it look like people are losing faith in the currency, and if you don't turn that around, it will be a downward spiral and end up being worth peanuts like DOGE and MOON and it won't have a chance to come back. Everyone will just say "yeah it sounded cool, but isn't worth anything anymore so why bother?"
That's the problem.
Btw, even at 220 like right now, with 4,200khahs you make 600.000 EAC per months, which is 1,32BTC If you mine LTC with 4,200khash is 30LTC month, which is 0,87BTC. If you mine DOGE (top1 on multipool right now) with 4,200khash you make 3.000.000DOGE which is 1,22BTC Very short sighted. If you follow the trend. EAC will be worth less in a month. So you can't base your estimates a month from now on what the prices are now. Plus difficulty increases will further reduce the coins earned. And few people (compared to the majority) have 4200 MH to throw around. Most people are under 2. My 1.7MH rig made 100,000 coins in 2 weeks. Started at about 9,000/day and slowly decreased to 5000/day in that time. Miners do it to make money, that's the bottom line. If your coin doesn't make the miners profits, then they will stop mining. If they stop mining your infrastructure fails and your coin is a bust. Like I said. Downward spiral. Sure devs can't set market prices, but excuses and pipe dreams aren't helping anything either... |

I mean Christ, that's ridiculous. And the hash power has been increasing over the last week. Is this a botnet or something? How else would it be possible to have that much power, AND a steady increase?
It's a chinese "mining plant". They're using super-powerful chips which can mine BTC and LTC at same time. One chip can perfrom 84 KH/s peak performance and price is 65 USD. If all 700 MH/s is coming from these computer chips it means this group of people has over 10 000+ and slowly increasing. so, making some calculations, these people paid probably around 650,000.00 USD for 10,000 units "Gridseed GC3355" (plus PCB engineering and assembling costs ) for having 600 Mh/s for LTC mining, and 22.5 Th/s for mining BTC ... the famous chip --> Gridseed GC3355 -Hybrid Scrypt/SHA256 ASIC https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=355268.0data sheets --> https://github.com/gridseed65 USD ist the price for evaluation samples. They probably got them a lot cheaper in bulk. Then again, they might not be a customer but Gridseed themselves "testing". Gridseed = sfire?FUD for thought. I could have sworn that sfire said their mining farm was actually GPUs and not the Gridseed chips. They were just posting about Gridseed and the debut of the chip in China. Gotta look back in the thread and search... He mentioned they actually have over 2000 Mhs and he argued with his partner over using Middlecoin so only moved 500 Mhs at the time and slowly switched over more (which is why you see them still growing at over 700 now). So they're not really adding that much more new miners daily, just switching mining rigs from whatever they were mining before (maybe solo LTC) to Middlecoin. Maybe sfire can post again and clarify. Just a fun thought ... what if there is a Chinese multipool site where the multipool owner forwards their traffic to middlecoin? That would also be consistent with the growth pattern, also it would make sense given the general lack of English skills in China. Gradually moving over hashing is also consistent with that almost linear pattern ... but ... well  . Expanding a farm would be more chunk wise no? I wouldn't know anything though since I do not have a farm, nor do I have any idea of how it looks like . But perhaps someone can do a quick search for "dragonpool" "tigerpool" "maopool" or something ^^. This is what I said before, I said it was a pool diverting all the haspower to middlecoin and then shairng thr profit.... I think that should be banned if its found out somehow. If it's a pool on a pool. Why ban it? I don't see how it's a disadvantage to anyone else. The pool would split up the profits proportionally, pretty much the same as if the individuals were on middlecoin themselves. |

trying to decide if i should try to solo this thing. i do like the concept though.
