301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 10:18:11 PM
There's no need to go on ganging up on the guy forever, really.

Appreciated.
302  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 10:13:28 PM

Don't direct statements or questions towards me. I'm going to ignore them. I've had enough of this nonsense.

Says the guy whos said he was leaving how many times already?  Just go bud.

You keep directly addressing me I'm going to answer. You're an idiot. At least some of the others are actually worth the argument.
303  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 10:07:40 PM
Gee, I'm sorry for taking it seriously, disagreeing on your point about the validity of technical analysis in higher volume crypto markets, and for making my living from trading and saying so.

So... so sorry.
Whale's are not gonna buy/sell within your TA resistance and support levels just so you can make your living. Get over it.

I never fucking said that. It's clear this person has no idea what they are doing and so, if you people can stop being hypocrites for two minutes, I berated him, as did others. This also serves the purpose of letting inexperienced traders know what's going on so they can help foil his plan (CrowdWhale isn't an arbitrary name I pulled out of my ass). It's also clear they're trying to manipulate the market. Isn't that illegal in regulated markets? I don't like the environment it creates and said so plainly. You guys want to make it out to be something it isn't. STOP. MOVE THE FUCK ON. This thread isn't about me.

Don't direct statements or questions towards me. I'm going to ignore them. I've had enough of this nonsense.

Gee, I'm sorry for taking it seriously, disagreeing on your point about the validity of technical analysis in higher volume crypto markets, knowing the difference between (poor) manipulation and responsible market making, and for making my living from trading and saying so.

So... so sorry.

Still trying to connect a previous loss with my complaint about the whale to support this weird narrative you have going, I see. Kindly move on.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 09:16:53 PM
I think I found a video of CrowdWhale trading DarkFlarb: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Lx90gU_KBc  Grin

Inaccurate and uncalled for.

(Pretty funny, though.)
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 07:54:06 PM
I'm here to make money by trading the coins I feel are worthy and have a future.

Changing topic; I find this interesting:

What do you mean by coins with a future being worth trading? Is it for the peace of mind you can trade long enough and it won't crash to zero suddenly? It is because you trade one part of your holding and keep the rest like an investor/believer would do?
Just curious why this matters for traders (or at least you) who I thought only care about price variance so they can scoop profits on the ups and downs and have no consideration for long term "future", ie, fundamentals.

Partially because I give out advice on Twitter, which serves also as promotion, and I'm not going to promote shitcoins. Partially because of the next to no risk of it crashing to zero.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 07:31:54 PM
I didn't demand the price do anything. I mocked the whale's ineptitude and encouraged people to defend the trend line. If people want to conflate that with a previous bad trade I made that was no longer even an issue, I guess I can't stop you. If people want to be offended because I jokingly told the whale to go beach himself, I can't stop you. As I said, just drop it and carry on. A couple morons (the two I was directing that at) on BCT aren't a factor I weigh into my trading. I'll be holding it when I think it's going up, and I won't be holding it when I think it's going down. I'm here to make money by trading the coins I feel are worthy and have a future. Sorry if that's offensive to fanboy hobbyists. Can I leave now?
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 07:04:49 PM
This is great, he is gone (hopefully) yet we are still at ~ 0.0034.  I have never seen so much whining in this thread.

I didn't say I was selling. This conversation is 90% about what trolls have read into or conflated with what I've actually said. It's become a completely inappropriate topic for this thread and I asked a couple times to drop it. Then when I leave you mock that action too? You guys must be reeeaaally bored. Carry on.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 04:57:32 PM
Ok, you guys are morons. You read bullshit into something and miss the point because you're too busy trolling. Too many kids and not enough professionalism. I'm happy to take my leave. Enjoy.
311  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 04:24:07 PM
Are you now talking against a DarkFlarb wall? I thought I had seen it all  Cheesy

Apparently your greed is still bigger than your fear of losing money. Don't blame the tiny DarkFlarb market (makers) for your potentially future losses.

HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY MY TRADE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH IT? My trade went bad for entirely unrelated reasons. I'm talking about the apparent ineptitude of the whale.

I'm not interested in talking about this anymore. If you're bored and need to troll, have at it. I'll be making money.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] DarkFlarb Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 07:00:34 AM

By my standards for illiquid crypto markets, I'd say the channel is still intact.
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 02:27:11 AM
I encourage you goobers to censor yourselves before thread moderator has to go on a deleting spree.

Yes, I tried to tell him, but he's a wrecking ball. Oops, was that a name? Wink

In other news, XMR seem to be a coin flip to me at the moment, even though I am still perpetually long (never sell XMR spot once acquired! - pegasus #1 rule).  We probably needed a consolidation period, and this 330 area formed support before - it was healthy to return here and shake out some margin longs who jumped on the azure news.  Next major support would be 270, but I'm not sure if the price will be able to sink that low before moving to new levels.

Selling dropped off to minimums recently, and I do think we will break out of our 4-hr downtrend at this rate and possibly begin a new bull channel for 4-hr candles.  Let's see what magic April brings for our little crypto.

The lack of liquidity in these markets allows for a little painting outside the lines. This one barely nudged out and has done so before. I don't think the present channel is invalidated. It basically hit the bottom of the channel and then went sideways long enough to drift slightly under. Totally permissible in this environment. TA (usually just the most basic) is still useful in higher volume crypto markets, as long as you allow for some wiggle room.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 12:08:55 AM
Just like i said ur to weak

Since I'm nice I'll be the one to tell you you're making a fool of yourself and should probably just shut your hole.
315  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: April 01, 2016, 12:03:03 AM
you can suddenly change the total margin value of other margin traders, and potentially cause forced liquidation on some of them.

I hadn't thought of that. I'm getting to the point where it's difficult for me to enter and exit fully, but I'm not to the size where I'd need a huge wall to avoid a margin call. I also find it difficult to imagine people using margin when they have hundreds of BTC. I'll have to think about that and watch to see if there are sudden market orders when the walls disappear. I don't remember any, but I wasn't looking for them.

There's also a chance he's a big part of the support at 335k and is buying small batches while pushing down. I would expect him to split his orders more effectively to conceal them, though.

Anyway, whatever. I had no idea so many people were going to respond to me bitching about the bear whale. I'd prefer to just drop the subject.
316  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 31, 2016, 11:40:31 PM
Anyway, a market maker needs to paint the tape in such a way that traders can receive his (or her) signals and do his work for him. Why fight to break a clear support line when you can send out the right signals and let traders do the work for you?
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 31, 2016, 11:28:50 PM
ur to weak for crypto trading u should sell asap im pretty sure u have dreams about xmr while sleeping

do ur self a favour and sell now ur obviously not for the long run

Coming from a guy who just posted FUD and said he was out, I find this hypocritical at best.

Absolutely. I can get nastier too.
With what aim?

I assumed he was joking saying "go beach yourself" was getting nasty. Like if I called him a big old meanie or something. I have no intention of getting nasty.

If that means you are no longer trading on margin that is probably a good thing. Small price swings seem to really stress you out.

You're absolutely correct. I didn't want to make an excuse for my bad trade, but I do have one and it involves emotions and substances not related to crypto or trading. In any case, I don't normally use margin and lost the panic mechanism years ago. My trade went bad BEFORE he started doing the things I feel are harmful. I'm not concerned about the dump to 321, which I would normally have predicted. I'm concerned about the clumsy shifting of walls and the obvious attempts to break or buy below the trend line, which I think would destroy confidence in the market for a good while.

None of this matters, because I sincerely doubt he will succeed. 335, 320, or 300 will hold.
318  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 31, 2016, 09:10:26 PM
Oh look, you moved your wall from 430 to 400. Hold on while I go panic dump. :p

What's next, 380 again? You're an idiot.

Now you're getting nasty.

Absolutely. I can get nastier too.
319  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 31, 2016, 08:44:59 PM
Frankly, because of the illiquidity of many cryptocurrencies, i.e., they can easily be broken by one "entity"/trader, one shouldn't put too much weight on trendlines in my opinion.

All the more reason for me to go somewhere that matches my trading style better. Any market maker worth his salt should be defending that trend line.

Whoever you are, and I know you're in here, you SUCK at being a whale. Go beach yourself.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XMR] Monero Speculation on: March 31, 2016, 08:32:58 PM
Please come down a little my dear Monero! I wanna buy some of you.  Grin

I really don't understand this thinking. If it breaks the trend line convincingly you don't WANT to buy. It makes no sense to me to not buy at the trendline, but to buy just below it. There's a REASON 335k is holding time and time again. It's the bottom of the ascending channel. If people want it to go up they should be defending it aggressively, not trying to break it for a cheaper price.
