Well, from what I can tell, the "big announcement" turned out to be good for the developers, but it is unclear how that benefits the coin. Earlier today, I asked anyone to explain to me how the "good" news was actually good and so far no one has. Plus, this is exactly what happened to MRC (Micro Coin). The developers of that coin decided to start an exchange and, over time, the coin itself just went to near zero. I have some FAC, but I can't say that I am hopeful as I have seen this movie already. Now, I could be wrong, but so far, no one has explained to me how the "big announcement" from yesterday is going to help holders of FAC. So far the biggest benefit of this is the rumored poker website that will utilize FAC as the base currency. If users (particularly in the USA) could buy their FAC using $USD, they could then move their FAC to the poker site and play. Now if the dev could fold the exchange into the deposit page of the poker site, this would really be great - 1 stop shopping. The poker site isn't the big part. The big part is going to be being able to go directly into and out of fiat with FAC. If they can swing that then it's huge. |

There are currently 3578 QBC outstanding from mining as of block 217 (daily production is 14976). 24 x 0 QBC + 24 x 1 QBC+ 24 x 4 QBC + 24 x 13 QBC + 121 x 26 QBC You can't have it both ways, Hirocoin gave away free blocks at the beginning with a ninja launch at easy difficulty but that creates whales amongst the holders. You can't be confident in buying a coin like that if someone holds a huge part of it (Zetacoin comes to mind). If it's easy for everyone, it's a lot easier for some, if it's hard for everyone, at least there's no surge of coins diluting the market. I'd love to see a perfect solution but there are only imperfect ones right now. Some better than others. See, thats where your logic fails. It's not hard for people with large farms. They will take the lions share. Always. It doesnt matter to them one bit if you pass out shit to start and crank the diff to stupid levels. They can cope. What shit rewards+kgw mean is small miners will never be able to solo. At all. They're forced into their 214532th pool (moreso when you delay for 24 hours and STILL fail at a wallet) |

WHO would even continue to mine something that started without a windows qt?? battle cruiser server farms always use linux too... so double destruction on this one. Oh man 15 minutes without windows QT! This sure is a failed launch. Amongst the better launches I've seen in these forums to be honest, the coin is adjusting nicely to all the miners, it's clearly well built. OP had some problems, so what, it was fixed within 15 fucking minutes. Go back to mining H20 coin with three failed launches after an IPO. Being less terrible than others does not make you good. |

Thank you so much, I'm having trouble coping with the hate right now. People were nicer to the edgecoin and stackcoin devs it seems. Difficulty is increasing very fast, DGW kicked in, no one will get a ton of QBC... Thats what happens when you accept money from people. They have expectatons of you. |

no you dont. Go to the console and type: walletpassphrase YOURPASSPHRASEHERE 99999 true which will unlock the wallet for staking only for 99999 seconds (or you can change that to whatever length you want) |
