What's the point anymore? Key is being vetted by Bittrex and receiving a 7/7 trust score.

I was kidding.  My bad if that was not obvious lol

When a coin has such a dedicated Fudder like this guy, you know it's a good coin.

Agree. Still a lame disguised attempt at FUDding.

This could be a feature.  Could be marketed as:  "Not only do we have a highly dedicated dev team, we also have our own dedicated Fudder to help weed out the weak hands"  Or: "We have our very own dedicated Fudder to help keep this rocket under control before blast off".

I am out sold all my Key´s Angry

Well, I hope you didn't sell at a lost due to this FUD. If you did, I honestly feel bad for you man.

Awesome!  Keycoin team is a beast. From technical abilities to artistry and marketing. You guys got it all.  Impressive work.

Actually, I guess I'm glad he tried so hard and kept on posting nonsense.   Gotta admit, he actually sounded pretty convincing with his first FUD attempt.  But now he just looks idiotic and has zero credibility.  Everyone will see that.  He's been kinda shooting himself in the foot there.  lol

On a brighter note, looking forward to the video

As much as I want to ignore his posts, I want more to know when he posts just to let the innocent eyes know who he is and what he's trying to do. I really feel bad for people falling for his crap. It's borderline scamming with how persistent he is.

There's gotta be a forum rule to address this kind of stuff.  Anyone know?
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | Daily Updates | 8/2 Vetted, KeyOS Info on: August 03, 2014, 02:03:46 AM
I believe it's 20% only for wallets that are actively staking. Not everyone who owns a wallet leave theirs on to stake. In fact, probably only a small percentage do right now.

Again you're trying so hard. It's getting pretty pathetic man.

Blah blah blah. Blah blah blah blah.

That's really all I hear. Looks like pbremen01 brought in another fellow Fudder to help him out lol. This is so sad, it's not even funny.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [COINO] The Coin(O) Community Discussion thread on: August 02, 2014, 10:08:35 PM
More importantly, we all have a better understanding of what makes this coin and others work, or fail.  There is no one magic thing that makes one coin better - hard work and a group is all it takes.  I've done work with other coins since I became involved here with Coino.  Some have done well, others have disappeared.  No single technical aspect really makes that happen - its more about the people.
According to you, what is Coino missing ?

Thank you.

Well, isn't the obvious? "The people" is what coino is missing.  Both current devs and community are not nearly dedicated enough or in this case, physically able enough. I'm afraid pretty much everyone who cared enough (supporters, investors, etc) left coino after the original dev disappeared months ago. Only some of us hopefuls were left.

Smcardle was a major force behind the revival of coino, but he unfortunately suffered an accident and was out for several weeks.  My guess about what happened is he came back and saw that the rest of the dev team and community did not stand up to move coino forward while he was gone, so he gave up. This is very understandable and it's definitely not his fault.

Basically, it's really too little too late for coino at this point IMO.  Even if another person like smcardle steps up, without a community to back that person up, not too much will happen in terms of progress.

yeah accept cloak is actually annonymous, not some half assed mixer bullshit

Oh boy, here we go again. For those newcomers who are wondering if/when they should buy, here are a few simple steps.

1. Wait for Fudders like these to join the discussion
2. Watch an exchange for weak hands selling their coins cheap
3. Buy in at a lower price
4. Repeat upon next FUD event

Disclaimer: similar FUDs have been done in the past, so no guarantee there will be a price decrease this time or any subsequent times.

Edit: the key point here is to buy up those cheap coins before the Fudder does.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | #1 Volume | Anon | Daily Dev Updates - 7/31 on: August 01, 2014, 12:29:58 PM
The problem is that it is really hard to prove to the third parties that someone doesn't own some addresses. But people can easily prove this to themselves because they have list of all their addresses (if they show this list to the third party it can't be proved easily that the list is (or isn't) complete).

So after all that, you're basically saying that in order for this to work, people need to know their own wallet addresses to prove that the coins came from their wallet? Well no shit.  Isn't that the whole point of anon? Only the person sending should know which address the coins came from.

Can't believe we keep feeding this troll (I'm guilty of this as well).  He's definitely persistent.

Oh boy when will people learn to not listen to FUD and allowing fudders to profit.  It's amazing how many people panic sell without even doing a bit a research.
314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KEY] KeyCoin | Fair Launch | #1 Volume | Anon Peer Review+ | 7/30 Recap on: July 31, 2014, 05:06:23 AM
Guys, this pbremen01 guy is a known long term Fudder in this thread. This isn't the first time he posted a reddit article claiming the insecurity behind keycoin. He also keeps saying that it is on Keycoin to prove that the system works, but it is actually on him to prove that it doesn't work since he's the one making the negative claims in the first place. Also, every single time, his excuse is always something along the lines of "I'm too busy to test things myself" or "I don't have access to ______ so I can't test it"

I predict he's gonna soon disappear for a little while, and then reappear again with the same tactics after the price makes another jump.

The anonymous system is indeed based on XC....

"While the anonymous system is indeed based on XC, it is a highly modified and unique version."  - XC developer (Dan Metcalf).

Let's not forget that little tidbit at the end there.

how does the node selection work?

Does this system use:

- private nodes that the developers maintain?
-master nodes like Darkcoin?
-every wallet is a node?

Lastly, is this system 100% trustless? the reviewer doesn't mention that in his assessment of Keycoin, or I might have just missed it.

thanks.

qouting my question because its going to get lost in a sea of hype-tards pumping KeyCoin.

Based on the website, this is currently a masternode anonymous system.  However, they are working on a decentralized system.  From what I remember reading, every wallet will become a node.

But then again, this is only just what I can gather so far with my limited knowledge.  I would wait for the devs to explain it better.

What's real price of this coin?

If you mean potential price, look at the number of coins and the current market cap.  That should give you an idea of where this is headed.

so is this shit coin still using cloned, outdated anon tech? Or is it something new?

Go ahead and do your own research.  The first post is a good start.

Coin looks cool but an OS based on a coin makes me laugh...

Now what, new coins are going to start coming with their own OS's? LOL!

pcmerc~

Think of it not merely as a coin, but as a product.  I find that these days, it's becoming more and more about the technology behind a coin rather than the coin itself

why key price up again Wink

People finally realizing how legit this is.

Also, we just surpassed vertcoin in market cap.  Anybody remember that coin? lol
