Congrats on the current price. However I suspect it's you and your cadre that are doing most of the price raising.
1. Hoard mass amounts of solidcoins in hopes that you can cash out big time. 2. Raise price so people will think that solidcoins are worth something. 3. Speculators put in large buy orders because they think sodlicoins will be worth something in the future. 4. Hoarders profit. 5. Speculators are screwed.
From what I see in the solidcoin market the 3rd point hasn't happened and it will not happen.
You're better off selling a portion of your coins every once and a while.

I'm going to suggest again to use the cumulative compounding fee structure I suggested on IRC.
This may affect pools negatively? Or they could just charge the transaction fees to the users. I think most pools do that already?
Again a .1 fee to transfer 6 LTC kinda sucks.

Pay outs seem to be broken at the moment.

Was this part of the "power block" discussion I missed? When I asked last night the power block was 5 extra SC on top of the 5 already and it was every 50 blocks. Pretty sure a consistant bonus reward doesn't count as a lottery.

Hiya. Long time lurker first time poster.
I sit in the BTCGuild IRC channel every day for at least 12 hours a day and no-one has said they dis-like large pools or Deepbit. In fact some of us Deepbit as our pool. Myself included. The only poeple I have seen that "hate" large pools is RS and his crew.
What I have seen is Eleuthria is very fast at banning botnets from using his pool and making it so they can't DDOS his pool. And from what I've seen his pool is always the last large pool standing when the other 2-3 large ones go down.

In my opinion mining will go CPU for a while now until someone gets the new algorithms working on GPUs. CPU mining is cheaper and uses less power.

How long did the speed stay low? Slush has been under attack several times within the last few weeks.

I wouldn't trust any online wallet web site. All you need to do is put your old wallet in the bitcoin "roaming" directory and once the block chain downloads all your funds will show up.

The bitcoin client lets you transfer funds to other users via the long address. And you can also receive funds from exchanges and store them in your wallet. And if you want to mine you'll need another program that connects with a "pool". You also need to create a user and worker at pool to mine with your mining program.
