digital ocean servers are just big ass computers. If it's running on their computer, you have no reason to keep your computer on if you don't want to. |

What am I doing wrong? try restarting your computer and wallet. You're the first one to have this issue so if you can, come chat with us in our slack so we someone can help you a little bit easier. Other things to check include, make sure the time on your computer is set to update using the internet automatically and click the wifi logo on the Desktop wallet and click the IP address next to Peer until it stops and delay status bar turns green |

CONGRATULATIONS! I know how hard the team has been working on this and it's great to see such good progress!
The mac client looks A1! I'm wondering if I have to withdrawal the whole amount from the TEK? It's still a new wallet and it's "cold" I wanted to see if I can do a micro transaction to confirm my wallet works before I take the leap to pull my ark from the TEK, is there any way to do that?

Thanks dude. Being a cold wallet is ok, It's actually good. It means that the address has never been seen on the blockchain yet. All of our addresses are generated off the blockchain for more privacy. Things like paper wallets are more secure when they are generated offline without ever being "tagged" by the blockchain. Once you send any transaction to that address it will become "hot" don't worry about messing up too bad. not many have had issues. |

no, once you register, that account is always a delegate in the blockchain. Your wallet does not have to be online like in PoS. Another question, can you have 2? or is it better just to have 1? you can do whatever you want buddy. think of it as naming your account, you don't even have to forge if you don't want to. |

Hi everyone, I'm new for signing up to these forums but I've been following ARK for a week or two now. How do I invest? Do I have to buy from an exchange (eg. Bittrex) or can I buy another way? I see people mentioning things like "ICO", "signature", and certain wallets to download and set up? Does doing that make my funds go directly to the ARK team rather than an exchange and for that I get a better rate or something? I don't understand...I'm tech savy with regards to PC hardware but have no idea about software and all this stuff...Can someone help? 719btc on ttrex seems good for poloniex  just overtook ETH volume at bittrex if Ark sustain this volume I think it is Poloniex bound. I don't think Poloniex can overlook this kind of daily volume for long. I see this with Steemit, Lbry.io and Stratis And it is not just volume, ark = quality  Awaiting volume reached on 1000btc, and I expect the team and the developer will add ark in the stock exchanges Polo, might be more balanced .. 100 more and we pass Dash |
