Well did you read the thread at all? Next payment is in few days, I don't remember the exact date.
Clipse posted some important information and locked the thread so that miners will see the announcement even if they don't read this forum daily.

why did you sell them ?? honesty, i must say, that ztex quads, are much better in hot enviroment. BFL throtles a lot, and quads just crunch ot mode on Any1 can help me with running sinles on W7 ? I`m happy xubuntu user now, running them fine with cgminer. I`d like to move them into windows, and use Easy tuner(or smth like that) Main problem is, system sees sommethink connected to the USB, but cant use it ot mode off I don't remember where it was said and where the link is but you have to download and install some usb drivers. The link might be found from easyminer or from bfl website.

BFL doesn't have bitcoins and that's why they will refund 30k$. That happens to be exactly what he paid.
|
|
|
I'm not asking to return the same amount of BTC I sent them.
You should ask for the same BTC back, you paid in BTC not USD, so 1BTC=1BTC kind regards You are not serious? The price of ASIC minirig is 30 000 DOLLARS not 4xxxBTC. We just used BTC to pay for it. BFL can convert BTC to USD or speculate and keep the BTC. If someone wants a refund and BFL is nice enough to give it, they will refund 30 000 USD. BFL takes the risk if they hold on to BTC and that's why they get the reward if and when BTC price goes up.

|
|
Would you agree on a cash refund based on $30000 original value while BFL keeps the money that the coins have raised over time, or do you want Bitcoins refund, so you can benefit from the rise ?
Asking for a BTC refund is outrageous. I'm pretty sure he wants 30k$ back. I don't think personal matters can be solved with bitcoins OP deserves his refund because BFL promised it but I don't want BFL spending time refunding everyone. I want them working on ASIC!

This is for everyone making these threads
INVEST ONLY THE AMOUNT YOU CAN AFFORD TO LOSE!!!
I'm sick of these threads where people are crying about their orders. There are plenty of buyers out there. Shipping ready products and developing ASIC is more important to BFL than processing refunds.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I've had few (~5) PMs. Looks like these will be sold in the next few days. Not sure yet though.

Hello I bought 8 BFL Singles from a fellow forum member. I can sell one or two units to someone in EU. So if you are thinking about ASIC upgrade, here is your chance. Asking price is 660€ (685€ includes shipping)
|
|
|
Singles arrived very fast. It took only a week and that includes 4th of July. They were packed well and everything was fine. All the singles are working with the fastest bitstream!!! Thank you for that.
So +100 to yjacket. We need more sellers like him.
|
|
|
Now I know what eldentyrell does everyday instead of making his bitstream to work on enterpoint boards. He is being a smartass

Is there a good guide for using an ATX PSU with singles. Cablez is selling ready wires but I think they are too expensive.
|
|
|
Why are you selling these so cheap? There is absolutely no reason to do so, people would pay at least 200BTC for them.
Can we do a wire transfer? Are you willing to give me a copy of your ID? Where are the cards located?

as an experienced paypal & ebay member having several restricted accounts I'm thinking about this:
paypal limits the account if suddenly a lot of transactions flow in (like it did on bitpay when they announced pre-order). even higher chance for a restricted account, if they try to withdraw some of or all the received funds.
when paypal limits their account, they request for a tracking number, since the payment was for "goods", which need to be shipped.
BFL won't be able to provide the tracking numbers for the transactions, so their money would sit for 6 months at least.
If I were BFL I wouldn't use PayPal for preorders either.
PayPal is also known for closing customer accounts with no explanation. I personally don't want to keep several thousand dollars in PP if they can close my account whenever they decide to do so. Bitcoin stuff sold for bitcoins.

Why is everyone so concerned about the option for a refund? I can't think of any possible situation where a refund would be possible (or a wise thing to ask).
We are buying a product which is planned to ship in 6 months. You can ask for a refund if they don't ship in 2012. Does paypal offer refund after 6 months? No. How about dwolla? No. Same applies to banks.
Let's say you want a refund in october. That's before the scheduled shipment date so your on your own. Same thing as ordering a pizza and telling that you don't want it anymore.
Cliffs: STOP WORRYING ABOUT REFUNDS!!!

Even if as much as 100 TH of new hardware is delivered all at once on release day, anyone able to immediately use the new hardware will recover about 25% of their investment in the first 2 days (if starting right after a difficulty adjustment).
If software isn't ready and tested in advance, it will be a mad scramble to figure it out as the first units arrive, and minutes will be significant. Please arrange for at least one mining program to be tested in advance and ready to be used the moment deliveries occur.
You might want to check your math. BFL website says that block mining software is included.

Dreamwatcher's points are valid! They should follow ESD protocol. Fact is that right now they are market leader and there are no competition in ASIC area. They can do what they want. I don't like it either but are there any other (good) options? Buy nothing, stop mining?
|
|
|
The fact they are only take non-refundable payments makes me worry.
How many times this need to be answered? It doesn't matter what payment method you use. Paypal won't refund your payment in October if you pay now. If you order in October the waitlist is so long that you won't get your unit in 2012. Paypal offers refund only 30 days from the payment. BFL has said that if you really want a refund they can do that for you. I just don't understand why anyone would want a refund if they bought ASIC.

I will post here what we have done:
I wired the money to yjackets bank account and now we are waiting for the money to arrive. Yjacket will then ship me the singles.

Dear BFL,
If you find the time in the next few weeks, think about this. Let us know how many different customers have ordered SC Singles and how many SC Jalapenos. Order number doesn't tell much at this point since Singles and Jalapenos are coming from different production lines.
This would give everyone a clear estimate how many orders there are before theirs.
