I've resynced multiple times, updated wallet etc etc, could it be that the coins are somehow corrupted or wtf is up? I cannot send them out, 7.5k RBC
Maybe you can dump the privkeys associated to your wallet, make another wallet and import there the keys... Only thinking out loud here.

I dont like how 52 MILL coins are already in circulation. This sounds like a P&D. I will be watching and research more however.

This maybe help you

http://www.presstab.pw/phpexplorer/PIVX/richlist.php

About 10 whales (hi, boys, you deserve it) with more than 1%, about 100 big stakeholders with more than 0.1% and the remaining 68% of the supply distributed among smaller wallets and MN's. IMHO, quite fair distribution.

Thanks, DRPD (yours is easier). And yes, your scrypt works really nice, thanks.

And now, old noob question, the easiest way to avoid the small change transactions is not to use always a personal change address in send with coin control enabled??? If true, I feel a bit idiot now...

so this are statistics on coinmarketcap for PIVX

Volume (24h)
$477,958
460.07 BTC

can somebody explain why poloniex won't add PIVX on its exchange?

It'll come.  Be patient.

And when it does, PIVX can really start to stretch its legs Cheesy

Edit: SWEAR I wrote that before I saw your username.  Dying laughing rn.
They need to accumulate more to made a quite good bussiness in the initial pump. Seems that they were not very sure about DNET in the past and now they don't have enough PIVx to try to manipulate the market. If the pump stops, maybe in some days, if this going crazy insiders already have the info, if it's an undefined situation, wait more...

btw if anyone can help me with MN hosting pls let me know thanks

Paul's service is also worth considering and has been around since the early DarkNet days. $1.80/mo. plus $1 setup. Granted, there is an argument for looking elsewhere to ensure MNs are spread around, but aside from that it's a good deal.

http://mp-hosting.co.uk/

At time of writing, he has 23 nodes available and usually gets more up as needed.

ok thanks, i will check
btw do u know anyone who can help me setting them up? i dont have time to handle them.
Two good and quite cheap options, Paul's, 1.5$/month, and Vultr, 5$ month, but if you want to setup multiple masternodes there you could use the Masxmanch (sorry, man, alwayl unable to write your nick correctly) and divide the cost till 1$/month (5 MN's with 1 IPv4 and 5 IPv6 over it)

I just bought some PIVX beginning of this week for an average price of 0.000585 BTC each and thinking now that this was still a quite high price. The price didn't move much since then. I'm thinking that most the forum members here bought PIVX for a much lower price, or am I'm wrong? What was your average price?
First of all, any inversion have risks, so make your own investigation about the coin and decide yourself. Don't let anyone decide for you what to make with your money (<- Ding, a key in crypto here  Cool )

And now, let the old man rant begin  Grin

Well, this project has more than a year of life and you can explore the first pages of the thread to see the people who was here for the beginning. Easy, no tricks, if you now a bit about crypto you know that there are some of the biggest wallets of this coin.

If you explore a bit more, you will find a kind community, with old users and few concerns about FUD and so on.

And if you explore more, in... maybe page 170 or near, you will find the POS switch. During more than two weeks, devs and community works hard to get the first POS over Core 0.10.x (correct me here if I'm wrong) working. With lots of problems, wiht forks, and more forks... oh, shit, my 2 MN's have forked again...  Cry

Devs and community made its best to get the solution and the wallet and the chain running again. And it finally worked nice, very nice  Shocked

And during that time, fortunately wallets were frozen in the market avoiding disasters, and some people sold. And I buy, a good bunch, cheap, really cheap, about 500-700 sat.

And I hold, It was clear that devs know what they want and how to get there, and community was inteligent and responsible. Yes, in the last days I have sold a bit at 4k, 10k & 50k, about 1 MN but I continue holding. Maybe it will surpass some of the big ones or maybe it fails, but I know that a lot of work will be done.

So I will continue to run my MN's, holding and stacking, and who knows, maybe one day I could carry a very comfort life with a fantastic pension fund in PIVx  Grin

But remember, decision is yours.

And now, let's go to dump some shit...  Cheesy

What should I do? Just start from scratch?

Hmm. The first error, 'not capable', generally just means you haven't started the MN in your controller wallet. It's strange that doing so doesn't work for you. Have you tried using start-alias MASTERNODENAME rather than start-many? In the past, start-many used to cause issues sometimes so I only use start-alias now.
Yes, good advice. And instead of using masternode tab, go to the console and type it. Masternode tab starts have been making me crazy for days  Wink

Where's all the PIVX haters (scared Dash holders) today?

You guys not work weekends?

Keep things civilised, please. Some people trust in PIVx, some in DASH, and some in both. Respect all opinions and try constructive discussion, please.

And yessss, PIVx is better... (joking here, or maybe not)

No, you are clearly wrong... lol
313  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IMX] IMPACT | NO PREMINE/NO ICO | POW/POS | X11 ALGO | on: March 25, 2017, 10:22:06 AM
Cool IMX is ready in our pool!  Cool

CoinMiners.Net

1% Fee
Rapid Payments
Server located at Europe
Thank you. Pool added to OP!

(Last 3600 POW blocks until block 30 000. After that IMX will be pure POS)

So you have basically mined all those blocks, making it nearly impossible from the beginning for anyone to find a pool with appropriate difficulty settings.

Effectively, you mined nearly all the blocks on PoW, so you have a hefty advantage, saying no ICO / Premine does not mean you are not playing your silly game to accrue control of he network.

Your explorer is offline, so I am unable to check txs.

I am sure you started with saying you are a group of devs, tired of the ICO /  Premine / Scams.

Yet, it appears to me (my reading of your posts) that you planned to appear witless and clueless, but given you are barely a margin above "witless" you fucked it up anyway.

Now to Yobit .. with a bag of shite.

Your logic is wrong. Everyone could mine IMX without any barriers IMX was launched fair from 1st block. First Pool kicked in  in first 200 blocks. (with optional diif. port)
I have mined a fucking bunch of blocks with my baikal, being sometimes the only miner in the net (ultralov diff the times I quit). So, in the first days you can have get a good bunch of IMX with your GPU if you want. Fair launch, fair mining, sirs. Ah, and the ASIC dominated X11 algo has a clear advantage, any marginal miner with a baikal or a good gpu could mantain a chain alive, and there is a bunch of bored baikals out there...

Okay where do I find the backup file for the wallet on win10?
I assume I can jsut save the file it should be pass encrypted based of my passphrase yes?

Quote
C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\pivx\backups

Of course. But erase any copy done before encryptation.
317  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: March 23, 2017, 05:55:25 PM
PIVX will enter 2018 over $15

Stupid pump...really. But it is good to make money.

I understand how it sounds and your perspective, but I still disagree.  I think it's setup as a far superior DASH alternative and quite frankly, no one has or can argue otherwise.  Apply their market cap to PIVX and it's $15.

Not accounting for growth and block reward deflation.

TBH, I think a $15 target is conservative.
And in my opinion, the number of MN's owners has been enough to have a quite fair distribution. Will not be easy to pump and dump it. And, well, then there is that thing called Polo...

Dev Any Update ?
Working on the new wallet version 1.0.2.2:

1)Support qt5
2)Add masternode
3)New logo
Don't play with that or I will kill you. Are you really going to try to include MN's and darksend in this??? I really, really love MN's. Ah, if you have MN's logo is the same.

how to get Proof Of stake?
Unlock the wallet only for anonymate (small tick in the left down corner) and let it run.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][PIVX] - PRIVATE INSTANT VERIFIED TRANSACTION - POS 2.0 - ZEROCOIN PROTOCOL on: March 14, 2017, 05:51:22 PM
I'm starting to regret selling at 5000-6000 sats.
Yes, I was thinking about selling a little stake and I have started to have the same feeling. But I suppose you, as me, have those from when they were valuated in 550 sat, weren't they?

It's good to make some cash at some point. I have sold at 7200 the little stake some minutes ago, and I have paid with that current, servers and gpu power and time for all the proyect. Let's distribute the coin a bit and help in get more users and attention.  Cheesy

Edit: With this level of FOMO you are never going to be sure about been near of this movement roof in any case, so make some ROI numbers and spread the PIVx...
