301  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Inside Elrond Gold (Elrond.com) on: October 14, 2020, 05:32:05 PM
High speed is a great thing but if they allow the development of DAAPs on Elrond's blockchain, even better. I appreciate how Elrond encourages people to invest in them. They also have many programming languages but I find them not for everyone because Rust, Solidity, C, C ++ are difficult languages to use and the DAAPs on it can only be used for businesses and projects. big judgment.
If Elrond could integrate an easy-to-use language like Python, people would love it and use it more often.
I wonder if the cost of creating a smart contract on Elrond is high?
302  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government can seize company reserve Bitcoin? on: October 14, 2020, 02:58:29 PM
The government does not have the right to confiscate Bitcoin from a business if it is clearly declared and not involved in criminal activity.
Of course, their hosting must be permitted by law.
The regulations regarding bitcoin are not the same in every country and we need to respect the government's regulations.
303  Economy / Economics / Re: State influence for cryptocurrency on: October 14, 2020, 02:47:56 PM
When an economic downturn occurs, cash flow is stopped circulating in the market and related manufacturing and services industries are affected depending on specific circumstances.
Cryptocurrencies in a pandemic are a solution for people to limit their cash, helping to prevent a pandemic.
Cryptocurrencies are just a payment solution and they cannot help rebuild the economy. We can only track money movements more easily and gauge movements through cryptocurrencies.

If a country collapsed, then cryptocurrency would be a good solution for the people of that country. A concrete example is that Venezuelans use Bitcoin better than Bolivars.
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin legit or not on: October 14, 2020, 01:25:52 PM
Bitcoins are legal to own, nobody forbids us to own them. In legal bitcoin payments in some countries, some are not. If you're talking about legality, consider gold and any other rare metals. They are not regulated on a currency list and no one can guarantee their value but they are still valuable.
Do we only consider them legal for payment?
305  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the cause of economy rise and fall. on: October 12, 2020, 01:38:40 PM
The most basic cause of the economic slowdown is still the cash flow being blocked and everything becomes sluggish.
A healthy economy will have a lot of money flowing through it.
Central banks of countries lower lending rates, stimulate loans and money, or pump money into the economy.
Business owners put money into their businesses and hire a lot of people to create jobs.
Consumers spend a lot of money on products and services.
The Central Bank pumps and stimulates the market with large cash flows.
But when the money is obscured, or there is little money in the market, it will lead to a recession.
The last pandemic indirectly obscured the cash flow and prevented them from flowing into the market, causing everything to stall.
306  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can new crypto beat Eth in the market? on: October 11, 2020, 02:39:13 PM
The second capitalization position in the market may belong to tether in the future as they continuously print money. Right now it's $ 15 billion, and maybe they'll print more.
In terms of technology, many cryptocurrencies are racing to find a way to beat Ethereum but I am not sure they will. Currently, TRON and Binance chain is growing rapidly, they have many advantages and potentials.
307  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH 2.0 And High Transaction Fees.. on: October 11, 2020, 02:34:35 PM
As long as the transaction costs are not fixed, there is still a dispute over the transaction via auction to be sent out faster.
ETH 2.0 cannot fundamentally change the nature of ETH in transaction processing. They just make transactions faster. The ICO, DEFI projects will continue to take place and costs will continue to increase.

I don't agree here. Fixed costs will kill the competition for miners, make it another POS coin. Allow people to compete for fees, that's the way Bitcoin shows can keep miners in the game and incentivizes them to keep making the network more popular. Defi and ICO will become use cases but the hype we see now isn't lasting. Just wait.
When ETH completely moves to ETH 2.0, it also means that they will completely remove the miner from their system. So fixed costs are essential to maintaining network stability, and auction mechanisms are absent and potentially congestion, but no longer for static costs.
Miners will have to switch to other cryptocurrency mining. We need to accept the change and it is Vitalik's choice.
308  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avalanche Dedicated thread for news, discussion and update. on: October 10, 2020, 11:41:14 AM
The project has been launching the main net for about 20 days and do they have any DAPP? I know there is a project that recently launched Mainnet 4 days earlier than AVAX which is LAMDEN and they already have about 4 DAPPs, they will launch AMM / DEX soon.
Does AVAX have any plans to compete with other projects?
309  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the Faith of cryptocurrency after this pandemic period. on: October 10, 2020, 11:36:08 AM
After a pandemic, people will make money and they won't forget to buy themselves a cryptocurrency like bitcoin in case of pandemic-like events once again. We need to be optimistic as Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are currently doing quite well during the pandemic.
Some would argue that the cryptocurrency will fall in price and people will get rid of it but I am skeptical of that as there have been so many rich people and companies trying to buy more bitcoin lately.
310  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Was 2017 the "Golden Year of Crypto"? on: October 10, 2020, 11:25:19 AM
2017 marked a new start when projects started to emerge with a new form of crowdfunding, the ICO. I think the market has been overrated and as a result, a series of projects have been devalued hundreds of times. I see that in 2020 onwards, the market will see more progress with old projects that have introduced products, DEFI grows stronger, and projects that are more transparent than before.
311  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin and exchngers and others on: October 09, 2020, 12:44:38 AM
We can buy cryptocurrencies that are listed on reputable exchanges such as Coinbase, Gemini, Binance, Houbi, Okex ...
or other exchanges with a large enough volume.
We cannot tell if the funds are buying cryptocurrencies but we can track the flow of money on the bitcoin blockchain.
A company that buys real cryptocurrency they can tell us by making their address public.
312  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What the hell are Crypto kitties? on: October 09, 2020, 12:38:12 AM
It's a game on the ethereum platform. The cats are bred and have a unique value, they are ERC721 NFT.
This movement of collecting and raising cats has been around for a long time and brings a lot of value to players. Some cats are worth thousands of ETH.
Currently, the trend of collecting NFTs is emerging, and possibly in the future, NFTs will be more popular.

Looks like this popularity will continue to grow in the future, I wonder what will happen to this. Can't wait to see what will happen.
NFTs have become a trend in the future. Blockchain will be closer to the real world, the future of real-world artworks, items, and utensils that can be encrypted on the blockchain using NFT.
There will be many NFT game apps in their program. SAND has now held a sale of in-game real estate. I think NFTs make blockchain more unique, we can create unlimited. There will be more blockchains involved in NFT creation than just Ethereum right now.

314  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What You Think About UNI coin Is It good to Hold It For Longterm perspective on: October 08, 2020, 11:48:35 AM
UNI is a token of DEFI UNISWAP and is currently being generated over time. Their total supply will increase by 10 times when they are fully exploited. It is difficult for the UNI to raise prices over time if the project does not plan to vote or burn them over time.
Creative efforts will take place for UNI to increase value.

I don't understand why do people think that if a token is generated over time, it's price can't go up. Could you explain why does the price of some mineable coins increase over time even though new coins are mined all the time? It's simple - if there is more buyer then sellers, the price will go up; if there is more sellers than buyers, the price will go down. True, it does matter if new coins or tokens are generated all the time, but it's not the only reason for the price to go down.

Currently the entire market is in red and so is UNI. I don't understand why is everyone surprised that it's price is going down after that big pump to $8.
Growth requires different organic interactions. The current UNI is the reward of liquidity groups. UNI is also used to vote for UNISWAP activities as daily rewards for groups. I don't know what it will use in the future but look at the Curves, they have a deflator pattern that increases over time and it's 10 times more valuable than ATH. Yearn.finance has reduced the price for maximizing YFI. I am just speculating that the UNI will be similar to the tokens mentioned above. The value of UNI also depends on how UNISWAP was invented to add value to the token.

316  Economy / Economics / Re: I lost my job, how about you guys? on: October 07, 2020, 01:31:59 PM
The COVID 19 pandemic and US government policies kept my friend from work. The unemployment rate in the US has continuously increased over time. Businesses are dying over time. I think this situation will last until the next stimulus package comes out.
My condolences for your work have been taken away but that is the reality and we need to accept that. I believe the world will return to normal soon after there is a vaccine.
317  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People Say btc is Not ponzi but its look like ponzi on: October 07, 2020, 01:25:30 PM
Bitcoin is transparent and it is decentralized through blockchain.
Miner and bitcoin mining transactions are confirmed. Blocks are only created once in the mining system.
People buy and sell Bitcoin continuously, every transaction is recorded on the blockchain. Currently, the number of wallet addresses that own bitcoins is in the millions. How Bitcoin is fraudulent when all information is transparent. Bitcoin has a limited supply and has difficulty mining.
I think the new monetary system is a scam because the money is printed out from paper and used to pay off debt. Cash flow to pay debts is always compensated by printing money and collecting taxes from people. Beneficiaries are banks and governments. If they really use the borrowed money for proper use and economic development it is an investment strategy but they spoil them, it is really Ponzi.
318  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Enough is enough! Good bye Bitcoin! on: October 06, 2020, 03:42:04 AM
There are many people with losses greater than you experience. People who bought bitcoins were at $ 17,000- $ 20,000 in 2017.
Every market has a point of recovery and bitcoin is on its way to a new ATH. We need to be patient with the decision. I suggest you keep your bitcoin and forget about it. Wait until the rules are clear and we can easily exchange our bitcoins for cash.
You can buy a set of KYC yourself and use them. I know there are several OTC channels that people offer this service.
319  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin transaction fees be too high in the future? on: October 06, 2020, 03:33:30 AM
Bitcoin transaction costs are not fixed and it increases if too many people use bitcoin to transfer money in a while.
I think if bitcoin uses regular payments, it has no advantages over other forms such as bank cards, payment applications. If you use remittances as large as $ 50,000 or more then the cost of $ 2-10 is not a big drawback because bitcoin has global liquidity and is fast compared to any form of interbank money transfer.
Of course in the future, we will have many solutions to help reduce the cost of bitcoin transactions.
320  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: October 05, 2020, 02:50:13 PM
This morning I saw a tweet from Vitalik about the ethereum network's upgrade to 25000-100,000 TPS.
https://twitter.com/VitalikButerin/status/1312905882330521600
How can they do that when the ethereum network is on?
Now that they're stagnant, they'll probably rewrite the entire code. They will then migrate each of the other projects' DAPPs to the new platform.
I wonder if they can ditch the auction mechanism after removing POW completely?

we just need to reach phase 1 of ETH2.0 before competition get a part of community, due to high fees
nevertheless, i do not think that DeFi will be out, since there is a lot of value, that can sustain these high fees, but gaming will be out from Ethereum network, if the fees stay this high, and NFT will find more suitable places as well, since the value locked in these token are considerably lower than in DeFi
Of course, projects cannot be scrapped by ethereum. Projects have their own choice and they will do everything to continue the project.
I don't have any opinion on DAPP on ethereum because Vitalik's point is to build a foundation for the community. He did not foresee so many developers building on Ethereum and as we have seen they are planning to improve Ethereum.
