I did a reverse image search and it appears she was involved with some Bitcoin Kickboxing Event a few years ago.

You can Google "Bitcoin Kickboxing Event Muay Thai Nights 6 Sponsored By Havelock Investments" and you will be able to find more pictures.

This one! A 2014 event in Panama
304  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin overcome Paypal? on: June 17, 2017, 08:24:21 AM
If Bitcoin keeps on like this, it will never overcome paypal. But if scaling problems will be solved, fees go down and transaction will be instant, well, it has all the features to be the most used payment method in the whole world.

306  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We need to rethink the way we look at 1 BTC value... on: June 11, 2017, 08:36:37 PM
A solution could be to change unit of measure to 1 Satoshi. If the price keeps on rising I think it could be necessary.
307  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin IS basically DESTROYED on: June 10, 2017, 06:01:51 PM
I don't think that, I'm completely disagreed on this issue, if China would grip the Bitcoin then what would have happened for Bitcoin, why they are going to destroy this platform?  Now many countries are going to allow Bitcoin as a payment tools, also Japan has approved it as a legal currency..so there are no chance to be destroyed within soon.

I agree with your opinion, that's not necessarily a bad fact that most of miners are Chinese. Anyway, the fact that still remains is that the whole mining thing is very undemocratic because only few people can afford to mine Bitcoin. Definitely not for the masses, as many still claim it is.

310  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: WALLET.DAT or SEEDS - What is the safest on: June 10, 2017, 01:01:02 PM
both at the same time!

I'd also say both.
With Electrum ,for example, you can have the seed and the default_wallet (you can rename this, of course). Just save the default_wallet and write the seed on a piece of paper and you'll have high safety.

Tor can slow down your connection speed very much. I suggest you to avoid it, unless you need to go to deep web-

Looking at the IQ tests, the difference is very clear.
African countries have the lowest average IQ in the world. Just take a look at this map: https://iq-research.info/en/page/average-iq-by-country
313  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which is the safest wallet to use for long term offline storage? on: June 10, 2017, 08:46:14 AM
Which is the safest wallet to use?

I'm buying a laptop that will always be offline and used just to store my bitcoins. I'm wondering which would be the safest wallet to use to store the coins.

Yes, an offline laptop is a good choice. Then you can put Electrum on it to store your coins.
For a better security you should write your seed on a piece of paper and store it in a safe place (even better if you remember it in your brain). Also, you may consider to save a copy of your wallet and export your private keys. It's very easy to do it with Electrum.
314  Other / Politics & Society / Re: When will Religions die? on: June 06, 2017, 07:24:22 AM
The religions are already dying a natural death. Look at the western nations. A majority of the population is either atheist, agnostic or non-religious. Even in the oriental nations such as China and Japan, the situation is the same.

This one.
Religions now are mainly followed in third-world countries. In most advanced countries, just the poor ones and the people with low cultural level are religious.

If you look at wealthy people, in general, they are not religious. They just think about their business and their health.

Of course, there are exceptions.
For example, in the U.S. born-again Christians are quite common, even among celebrities like Chcuk Norris, Mr T and Bob Dylan.
315  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it easier to buy drugs, guns, and child pornography with Bitcoin than USD? on: June 06, 2017, 07:13:01 AM
Absolutely no!

That's just an old prejudice about Bitcoin and we, as a bitcointalk community, should not try to reinforce.
Also, it is far easier to buy such stuff using dollars (or euros) simply because there are more dealers who accept "traditional" money than the ones who accept Bitcoin.
316  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The impact of micro-transaction on Bitcoin on: June 06, 2017, 07:00:07 AM
My feedback is that unfortunately it is currently better to use "traditional" online payment systems like paypal, neteller or skrill to buy small items online.

For several reasons:
  • They are widely accepted among merchants
  • They are instant
  • they are far cheaper to use than Bitcoin

I don't think switching to another cryptocoin will solve the problem, because soon as this altcoin will be more used, there will be the same problems that Bitcoin has now: high fees and long confirmation time.

So, currently, Bitcoin is absolutely not convenient to buy small items.

A different thing would be if you buy high price items, like 10k $ or even more. Well, in this case, Bitcoin is better than any other method.
But the fact is that many people here cannot afford to buy expensive stuff and would prefer to buy small items using bitcoin.

A solution is needed!
