WDC has a block time of 15s and a reward of 32. So in 24 hours, 184,320 coins are added.
DGC has a block time of 20s and a reward of 20. So in 24 hours, 86,400 coins are added.
Now DGC had a fair launch. (Block rewards start off lower and slowly rise to the value they are now)
While WDC had a normal launch. (Initial miners get huge rewards)
WDC had a lot more coins when it was at the block that DGC is now.
WDC has a lot more coins right now compared to DGC and it's supply growing much faster than DGC.
Just looking at supply (and future supply) , DGC clearly has the upper advantage.
Only a matter of time until demand catches up.
The best part though is WDC still has a higher hash rate, secondly given the fact that it has about 8X more coins it's still more valuable than DGC lol. Whereas given to supply and demand DGC should be about 8X more in price. Do you see LTC at 1/4 BTC? I guess LTC is also shit then, right? |

I'd like instructions on how to do the following
1) reset blockchain difficulty
2) change reward system
3) change time between blocks
4) change number of confirmations.
5) making regular checkpoints
6) implementing variable difficulty based on net hashrate
Coders with time to spare, please indulge.

Hey I can reply now Been keeping up with the thread any news yet on when cryptsy is going to show are coins. Ps what price is everyone selling them for when we get there? I was hoping to get 1 btc for 500. They're not worth that yet. What are they worth mate? don't follow anybody's else opinion, if you are not sure, wait and see where the market will move and sell when you are satisfied expect quick miners to sell at .001 and below |

nearmiss and MarKusRomanus could you please confirm that you have looked at todays and yesterdays payouts and you reckon they are spot on?
I am not talking about coins/day I am talking about coins/block.
For example, nearmiss, I had ~.48 as expected per block but I received only ~.38.

look, if you are paying less than what you should, your hot wallet should have increased over time not just by 2%.
it's not that difficult to check
It could be that some people are getting paid too much, and some people too little. So it could be possible that the hot wallet contents seem to check out fine, but the payouts are bugged nevertheless. after 2 days dealing with this garbage I am off until the situation gets resolved, I will join again when there are some reputable pushpools. please don't advertise you p2pool after my post, it's irritating. |

How come digitalcoin is not in Cryptsy yet?
big miners are still on wdc until it's not profitable re: http://dgc.scryptmining.com keep in mind, as the site says, the coins/day calc is not accurate atm. The fact it says X but you get Y is not the sign of short-changing. However, a couple people have pm'd me with some questions and details, and I will take a look. Not running a scam here, if there are issues with payouts I'll make it right. I can only fix what I know about, and only now have some details work work on. Thanks for the hashrate support, I'll work to get any protential problems sorted out, and keep people updated here. thanks |

On 2 pools I get 1/2 of coins I should. Both http://dgc.scryptmining.com/index and http://digi.cryptcoins.net/index . With LTC/WDC I dont have that kind of problem, so my hardware is ok. Mining on arround 6500khs for many hours I get 600 coins per day, and both pools says 1200 coins per day. So I shall stick to WDC/LTC, since all other scrypt based coins work fine for me. Pool admins, you can look under username "linkaleksinac" and see if this is true. 430 coins I have in my wallet and was mining for 17 hours now. They appreciated your 50 percent donation. (I also noticed this discrepancy and went elsewhere). Pool admin I'd suggest this gets a little attention ASAP or all the goodwill will evaporate as fast at it appeared. I do sense this is just a miss configuration and in good faith I'm keeping my 2 miners pointed at the pool. I am missing a good 300-400 coins of payout from scryptmining too  I hopw he will fix this as he did yesterday.. |
