3001  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 18, 2022, 12:20:36 PM
I'm sure they will land power punches against each other since they are both skilled boxers but who has the tougher chin though? We already know from his past boxing matches that that is Khan's real weakness so I am siding with the bookies and going for Brooks.
That's a pretty niche factor to decide who's going to win, I am pretty sure that Khan is aware of that and he is probably preparing to do a counter if not defense. Brooks is a good fighter too but I don't have the confidence that he will be the winner in this one although I am still indecisive with Khan too.

It's because we have seen Khan fight before and his first lost was a knockout in the first round.

And then we have seen Canelo blasted him in just one punch because his chin can't hold against powerful puncher. And so Brook has a decent to quality power that once it hit Khan square in the face, there is a big possibility that he will have a lanky legs and will go down from the power. Of course he can hide and play defense but it won't win fights.

Exactly, he cannot win by just hiding, he can follow what Rigo did in his last fight and you see how the judges scored the fight. He is fighting in their home town, he cannot play safe, he need to gain the respect of the fans by bringing an entertaining fight and that means he has to take the risk.
3002  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 18, 2022, 11:56:45 AM

I dont know how i feel about this Casimero and Butlers' fight. I just know that im excited to see it. I firmly believe that Casimero will gonna win this fight.

I guess everyone is on the side of Casimero, well, I have the same feeling but I always love to see a good fight so hopefully, it will not be a boring fight like Casimero's last fight, that's the only thing I hope aside from him winning the fight of course.
3003  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 18, 2022, 11:25:03 AM
76ers are doing great and they won another game against a really tough opponent like Bucks this time. Embiid was the star of the game like he is nearly all the time. I hope that they can maintain this effort in the playoff round too. Because there have been many teams that were very good in the regular season but were terrible in the playoffs. 76ers deserve to be successful this season and I hope they wouldn't be eliminated earlier in the playoffs. But after Harden's joining, it doesn't seem very likely. The most important thing is his adapting to the team quickly.
That's a good win by the 76ers, though Harden is still not playing, they still manage to beat the Bucks. Embiid had 42 points, which was a huge one, he beat Giannis here and he take his team to success. Looks like 76ers is still a strong team despite of the trade happened recently.
3004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why pancake performance is so terrible? on: February 18, 2022, 10:40:05 AM
Ok first of all l thought maybe i should give it some time to recover and it will show its power but damn this coin literally angers me. When bitcoin coin crashed it was like -22% and one of the worst affected cryptocurrency, I was like ok I will give it some time and it will recover with same speed bit no when bitcoin start recovering the other coins move up to double digit but this guy hardly moving at all.

Pancakeswap is the direct replica of Uniswap so there is no way the other will be performing poorly and you expect the other to be doing well. Pancakeswap does not even have more usability than uniswap so it is meant to be performing far worse but yet holding a good price be grateful instead if complaining.
We have other projects that have lost very significant amount of values, that will be very difficult to recover from. The market has very high level of uncertainty so coins would not be so positive with every bullish candle of Bitcoin.
After the hype, people won't look it back nor have a plan of investing these coins. If we can see how pancakeswap token suffered in great losses of its value and this is because people don't ever see its market potential. That is not to wonder how it goes like this as this already happens to others. It has to think that no shitcoins will ever to survive in the market, they gonna dies slowly. That is too important to invest potential coins, not these hypess made as surely it will recover after the storm but these shitcoin like Pancake had no chance for this.
3005  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price stay above $40000? on: February 18, 2022, 10:06:10 AM
I am been having doubt recently that the price of bitcoin may not stay long above $40000, it is like the market is full of bears than bulls or maybe the bulls have become bears for this time until the next bull phase. Bitcoin increase some days ago above $45000, it decreased back to $41500, then increase again yesterday to $44500. I have predicted that if the price do not touch $45000 and above for now, that it is possible the bears will dominate and which is happening. Since yesterday, the price of bitcoin has slightly been on the decreasing side.

Everyone is expecting bitcoin to get to $50000 again, but I am thinking this is not possible for now, I know the price will increase above $50000 but I think it is not now. But what I am mostly thinking about right now is that will $40000 be a support for bitcoin or will the price still decrease further again making it to touch $30000.
yeah, you are right...It can't be now, even tomorrow but think about that it can be possible in the coming days. I'm not just positive with the market but that can be in reality as we know that Bitcoin had reached $50k in the past before the huge price deduction, and it rise back again just like the old times.

I have no feeling of doubts, Bitcoin will surge back high again only we need to trust and be optimistic. There is no instant recover ever happen in the market, so it is the same scenario to see.
3006  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I forgot the password to my wallet on: February 17, 2022, 11:10:05 PM
I also wanted to know when someone forget his password or key for his wallet, what will the person do to retrieve it back.

Or if the person lost his device which has automatically same is password or key..and buy new device to login..but the passcode is rejected. What will he do?
In that case, you need someone to help you, and I think this person @Babo can do that.

if you want, i can help you..
of course we need more info about password, about  configuration of it
is only characters? digits? special chars? number of element of password?
random? i mean need more informations
That for sure it will take long but being grateful for what possibly happens once it was done, I think we can wait.
This person has made an offer and just like OP asked also, I think we have to give him some try in fact, that seemed we want to happen and to get back of control to our wallet rather than to lose everything inside of it.
3007  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to detect scam token on Binance Smart Chain on: February 17, 2022, 10:39:06 PM
I suppose to believe that there is no such thing found in Binance as they are strict enough to regulate projects that have questionable developers and fake amounts.

But anyway, aside from those you have mentioned OP, seeing the name of the project will sometimes give us a hint if that is legit or not. And to make proof of it we need thorough research in order to have a final say. That is why if we have the doubts inside our mind, we better to follow it as sometimes our instinct save us.
3008  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 17, 2022, 12:53:36 PM
Brooklyn Nets finally put an end to their incredibly bad losing streak of eleven games. They defeated Sacramento Kings first and New York Knicks later on. This was really critical for them because they were going to be out of the playoff area if they went on like that for a longer time. Seth Curry had two nice games and I'm curious about his performance after Kevin Durant comes back also. Nets can get better and better in time and be prepared for the playoffs much more decently.

Seth Curry is a decent player, he is a good shooter as well ilke his brother, I hope this is his final place and he will be given a good contract. Nets needs a shooter like him who can also defend at the same time, with the absence of Durant, they need to stick together and win some games so they'll not slide down from the ranking.
3009  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Amir Khan vs Kell Brook - Feb 19, 2022 on: February 17, 2022, 12:26:48 PM
I guess, this will gonna be an exciting fight! Amir Khan and Kell Brook are both good fighters and im sure its going to be a competitive fight for both of them.Brook is looking strong and confident. And obviously he is planning to take the fight against Khan. Although Khan has a weaker chin but he has a strong and speedy hands which Brook dont have. And maybe he has also a high chance to win against Brook. But anyway whoever wins the fight, goodluck for the both warriors. May the best man win..
I'm expecting the same,  both are veteran and they have nothing to lose because they are not anymore on their prime. All they have to do here is to give the fans the best entertainment and they'll certainly make a lot of money, and the winner will surely get good contract in the future.
3010  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Better than accumulating altcoins? on: February 17, 2022, 11:14:25 AM
Since everyone are saying BTC is more reliable for long term hold than altcoins do you think it's a good idea to start accumulating bitcoin right now? Can 5$ per day on BTC makes any changes in few years later?
$5 per day wasn't a good idea for me. It is rather to keep your $5 every day and then just buy when there is a correction rather than to buy it every day as from what I see this strategy will help us to save some fees.

We know that Bitcoin is really profitable investment in crypto and that is why we usually rejected the potentials of altcoins which I think it should not. Many altcoins are still to believe that has a huge potentials and to have them aside from Bitcoin is advisable. We have to keep this saying "don't put your eggs in a single basket". I think it was safe if we spread our investment to 2-3 coins or even more.
3011  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why people keep "investing" money in shit/memecoins? Genuine question. on: February 17, 2022, 08:13:48 AM
It is something that bugs me till today. Are they mostly newbies trying to find a path to enter cryptouniverse or experienced people who are just gambling to score a moonshot on luck?

Both, we have experienced users trying to get on the next Dogecoin or Shiba Inu while newbies hearing that memecoin have given so much profits are just trying thier luck to be a part on the nex, I made thousands from investing in memecoin. Nevertheless, people are still making money from this jokes and it will be continuing for sometime.

They have been influenced by other people who always keep saying that meme coins give fortune. They came up with the basis that many people had made a huge profit (likely being rich instantly) and that is the reason why they will try also. However, they didn't know the risk that they are facing now upon investing these coins, they are in higher chances to lose especially when they are holding long-term. I suggest that if they have them now, selling is the best thing to do than to wait for hopeless bounce of price.
3012  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The most reliable coin to invest in is Bitcoin. on: February 16, 2022, 11:51:37 PM
Reliable?  Bitcoin dropped 50% after hitting its all time high twice last year.  The Whales and Institutional investors can wreck havoc on the price whenever they like. The entire crypto market is coupled with Bitcoins rise and fall for now which is not healthy.
You seem right, the market isn't healthy to see but this is just for now. The recovery is not instant that we can see it right away. The market has a huge correction and we know this gonna happen but people, the majority are still believing that it will turn back high again that is why they hold their Bitcoin. I think you did the same?

With this current situation, well, I don't just blame whales but this is just to come normally whether we like it or not. Correction is part of the market journey that we can't avoid.
3013  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it Better to Hodl or Stake your Tokens? on: February 16, 2022, 11:07:37 PM
staking is a good option if you have a lot of assets and you want to earn passive income but i personally don't have too many assets so i prefer hold because i can sell anytime and how much profit from my assets and i still have full power on my assets.
It's not about the quantity of each coin that you have. But it's about the count on how many coins you have per asset or specific coin.

That's more passive income if you're like focused on that token that you're going to stake. As you make money from staking, the bigger capital you have.

The bigger profit you'll get even if the APY isn't that much.

If you choose the right asset to stake, passive benefits are really awesome though due to heavy volatility inside this market,

it's hard to pick the right one to stake. It's beyond your proper understanding and your projections within the project itself. If you see good

future, it's still best to buy and hold. While waiting for the coin to pump, you are also gaining interest whatever the APY it's a growth from

your initial investment.
Staking is another option while holding as this could add more gains but yes, that also depends on what coins we are staking. I made a try but the return isn't sweet enough that will encourage me to stake again. I'd rather just hold to make peace of my mind as staking is to found risky as well as we are handling over our coins to the exchanges. It was good if you are in full control of it rather than the exchanges as whatever happens like hacking, we can't make it fully recovered.
3014  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 16, 2022, 01:10:55 PM
And then we see them lost big against the resurging Celtics, makes you wonder if Harden has jinx the team already even if he is not yet playing, lol.
LOL.  Grin
Kind of sad for the guy. He had been working hard on his career to achieve a championship but it had always been just close to it but can never reach out.
I wish he finds his new home in the 76ers. Maybe he has not found it yet with OKC, Rockets, and even with the Nets. This time if he gets along with Embiid then maybe they will become one of the formidable pairs of the league.

Phoenix Suns got another win from a close game against the Clippers. CP3 is getting better and better whenever his team is cornered and he showed it once again. Clippers on the other hand are making progress, trading Bledsoe may have affected positively for them.

Yeah, individually, Harden has accomplished a lot in his career, but as far as teaming up with other superstar it seems it has not work for him. They are close to the finals and beating the GSW if not for the injury of Chris Paul and I think that is the closest that he can get. After that they traded Paul and it's all on him. And yet he still failed, lose his enthusiasm to play with the Rockets asking to be traded and then he goes to the Nets. And now he is again on his new team. Not a hater of Harden, but I remember the late Kobe Bryant in an interview saying that kind of play will not bring him a ring and that is so true.

Harden style of play is quite boring IMO, his strategy is just to fish foul, and if the refs are not calling on his favor, his team will struggle. We've seen what Harden can do in a team and he cannot carry the team alone, so with a superstar like Embiid, then most probably his chance to be in the NBA Finasl will increase.

His style now is not effective anymore, he was the number 1 in terms of free throw but with the new rule of the PBA, his style become obsolete. It was his style to create contact so he will go to the free-throw line, and now that refs won't call that anymore, his production has also dropped and worst is he also got injured that he has to miss some games.
3015  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: February 16, 2022, 12:51:48 PM
I'm saddened with the news about Alaska Aces retiring in PBA.  Cry
Have you seen the news about their retirement announcement just today?
It's been so long, when I was still young, I've been watching them. Now that I'm old they're still there but this news has surprised me.
After this incident what's next? independent team is slowly departing on the league and this is a huge loss for the league knowing that Alaska franchise is huge in PBA for sure other teams will think about quitting to since its undeniable that there's an in balance things happening in the league and this is a huge wake up call on PBA authorities since if they keep doing what they do these days maybe the only team will be left on that league is the MVP and SMB group.
I also read the story, if no one will buy the franchise then I'm afraid some of the players will not be able to find a home. Calvin, Manuel and some Alaska Aces players who already left the team are lucky to still find a home to play with, maybe when they are trading their main players, that's already a sign that they will soon sign off.

This is not good for PBA, it simply tells that the league is not profitable anymore.
3016  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What Altcoins will Rock in 2022. on: February 15, 2022, 10:53:59 PM
What type of coins you think will perform in 2022 ?
One seems to be getting a lot of attention from Reddit. I do not know why and I do not know what people see in it but seems like that could be the next thing that goes up. I know that there are tons of projects like SOL, ADA, MATIC, DOT, and so forth that creates the same type of idea. But, ONE seems to be getting attention for a chance to become the next place where dapps could happen.

I am not sure if it will ever happen but there are tons of people on reddit that believes it could be the next one that goes up. Considering they were very heavy on NANO during the 2017-2018 period and that one crashed down a lot, I would say reddit is not the place to trust, but they are not horrible neither in most cases as well, so I do not know what to feel about it.
Well, social media can be influenced by the readers and that is something we can't deny is that hypes might occur if they see like this. But I don't think it is really a need for us to believe this because we know that investing in hyped projects is too risky. But it is still our choice and we can't also deny that following the hyped and making a ride of it seems to be more profitable. Well, of course, we need to be careful and we have to consistently check the market from to time for not to miss the chance to sell once it hits the peak.
3017  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not a safe haven for criminals on: February 15, 2022, 10:30:03 PM
Was it possible for them to have avoided getting caught? I think so. The reason why they're caught is more of their own faults rather than the capabilities of the FBI to track them down. Of course it is very hard to be extremely careful every step of the way. It might even be next to impossible to avoid committing an act of negligence or carelessness forever. It is hard not to commit a mistake and leave a trace. But it could be done.
If they are not been suspected of suspicious activities leading to the exchanges reports, they are still free till now. But yes, they leave such traces that could help the FBI to detect the couple's fraud activities. Honestly, they are not too smart to hide their doings but they are too bold enough to leave such a trace.

Even we think it was a success story for the FBI in hunting criminals like them, keeping anonymous won't easily give them the idea of who are they. But with their simple mistake could somewhat give a hint to the authorities and that is the reason why they end up getting caught.
3018  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Casimero vs Butler ordered by WBO on: February 15, 2022, 04:10:24 PM
It's bound to happen though, even if Casimero makes a lot of noise against any opponents, the WBO has the duty to match him against their rank fighter, hence the mandatory defense. That's why the Inoue fight or Donaire is just pure hype because the fight is not going to happen yet. But I believed that Casimero will still call Inoue if ever he wins his fight against Butler to reignite our interest on the said fight.
It will happen if Inoue or Donaire is willing to accept the challenge, but if they will not, then we will not see an exciting fight, shame on them, they are just playing safe, why not give Casimero a chance to prove that he is better than them, it should not all be about the money, it should also be about fighting the best no matter how big or small the purse.
3019  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 15, 2022, 03:47:22 PM
We all got destroyed by the Bucks bets, lol, no Giannis so it's a automatic lost for us.

I do think though that they have a good chance even with Holiday and Middleton, but the Blazers can't be denied on this road win.

I'm impressed too on the overall performance of Blazers today. They badly beat bucks on the first half of the game while they didn't gave them a chance to close the all thtough out the 2nd half. Bucks is heavily dependent on Giannis overwhelming power under basket since there's no one can replace his role whenever he is out. This is a bad sign for Bucks because they can be easily counter when playoff started. I lose multiple bets before when betting to Bucks witout Giannis. Bookmaker keeps the odds in favor to Bucks despite the absence of Giannis that's why many bettors being trap on betting with Bucks for low odds.

In their lost without Giannis, it's evident that the offense centers around him. So with Giannis out again, I wouldn't be surprised if they have been upset by the Blazers in this game.

Not sure what is the status of Giannis against their next opponents, the Pacers, might be good to bet +11.5 for the Pacers as the odds is above 2.x currently.

Bucks would struggle without their superstar, the same thing with other teams missing their main man. So it's always good to take chances and bet against the Bucks with that high handicap, maybe another upset would happen, just take the risk.
3020  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a way to actually get to know the real price of Bitcoin? on: February 15, 2022, 02:36:08 PM

Is there a way to actually predict the price of Bitcoin?

consider using Data from the Blockchain itself, for eg. the Timestamp of the block, mining revenue, cost of the electricity consumed to mine the blocks, Difficulty in the hash rate, etc.
Well, people had to wish that they would know the real price of Bitcoin years from now. But unfortunately, the market hasn't been designed like that, and even using all of these tools that you have mentioned, that still it gives no way to point out the real price of Bitcoin instead, we are still predicting it.

We can't change the volatile nature of the market as that was supposed to be. Whether we like it or not, that remains unpredictable, or else, we, therefore, say that manipulation wins over it.
