The Boston Celtics have finally found their rhythms and finally beat the 76ers for the first time this season and they demolished them throughout the quarters. They are now number 6 in the Playoff spot, if they continue such a high level of plays, they have a chance to climb up to the top 3 and secure their playoff spot after the all-star week. After having a shaky start, the Celtics managed to win 9 straight games and they really demolished the 76ers without Harden. Many are seeing 76ers as one of the contenders right now and you lost by 48 points :|. I mean that is a huge margin but maybe it wasn't their night though. It seems like the new players that Celtics got really is helping the team and its good to see Tatum and Brown at their best performance again. Until now though at the time I'm posting this, I can't move on on the step back three attempt of Embiid . Yeah, it seems that the Celtics has found their rhythm as they beat a solid team in Sixers. That's why it's an easy bet on them in the next game against the Detroit Piston. Low team and obviously struggling and I think the Celtics are going to win again on their floor. Although it is a back to back games for them, they are hot and will play on their homecourt tomorrow night.

Phoenix Suns are still like an unstoppable team and they are literally running to a new record in a regular season. But it is going to be a personal record because Golden State Warriors have done slightly better than this if we consider that Suns ended the season by 71 wins and 10 losses at the end of this season. Their previous record last season was 51 wins and 21 losses but there were less games played. Anyway, the most important thing here is whether they will reflect this performance on the playoffs too. They nearly missed the title the last time and maybe they can make it this time.

Somehow we can say that its a good trade on their side since they got Seth and Drummond which we know that they can contribute on both defense, ofense and perfectly fit on the play they set so parting ways of harden will not totally a huge lose for them. And we can say that Nets is totally a strong team now. I'm just wandering if Sixers will be lucky for the addition of harden since they don't know yet if he will be the same on his rocket days also if he will sign again on his current team.
That's what they need, a defensive power. Seth and Drummond are the best definition of defense. While Drummond defend the players who are attacking the paint, Seth could give a hand at defending point guards which he is good at and we witnessed it while he was defending his own brother Steph. 76ers just lost two of their best players in exchange for 1 offensive that we don't know if he could really provide what the 76ers need. I guess we will just need to see it at hand first before we could justify the decision. Yes they gamble to much on this trade and they throw away there best asset for unsure future, this will be a huge mess on their side if Harden will not sign again on Sixers also his chemistry is questionable for now so lets just see on what will happen to Sixers if they totally win this trade or they lose since if we look deeply how this trade goes we can say that Nets really win this trade.

76ers got a really embarrassing defeat against Celtics last night by 87-135 home. As these two teams were really close in the standings, I had zero expectation about this kind of a result but here we are. Even if Embiid scored double the points he scored in this game, it still wouldn't be enough for getting close to Celtics. I'm looking forward to watching James Harden soon. By his arrival, I believe that this team are going to be much better in the playoffs.

And then we see them lost big against the resurging Celtics, makes you wonder if Harden has jinx the team already even if he is not yet playing, lol.

LOL. Kind of sad for the guy. He had been working hard on his career to achieve a championship but it had always been just close to it but can never reach out. I wish he finds his new home in the 76ers. Maybe he has not found it yet with OKC, Rockets, and even with the Nets. This time if he gets along with Embiid then maybe they will become one of the formidable pairs of the league. Phoenix Suns got another win from a close game against the Clippers. CP3 is getting better and better whenever his team is cornered and he showed it once again. Clippers on the other hand are making progress, trading Bledsoe may have affected positively for them.

Yeah, individually, Harden has accomplished a lot in his career, but as far as teaming up with other superstar it seems it has not work for him. They are close to the finals and beating the GSW if not for the injury of Chris Paul and I think that is the closest that he can get. After that they traded Paul and it's all on him. And yet he still failed, lose his enthusiasm to play with the Rockets asking to be traded and then he goes to the Nets. And now he is again on his new team. Not a hater of Harden, but I remember the late Kobe Bryant in an interview saying that kind of play will not bring him a ring and that is so true.

Harden style of play is quite boring IMO, his strategy is just to fish foul, and if the refs are not calling on his favor, his team will struggle. We've seen what Harden can do in a team and he cannot carry the team alone, so with a superstar like Embiid, then most probably his chance to be in the NBA Finasl will increase.

His style now is not effective anymore, he was the number 1 in terms of free throw but with the new rule of the PBA, his style become obsolete. It was his style to create contact so he will go to the free-throw line, and now that refs won't call that anymore, his production has also dropped and worst is he also got injured that he has to miss some games.

Well I think that might be a bit unfair because if the Nets were actually able to stay healthy throughout the whole season and in to the playoffs I have little doubt that they would have been able to win the championship. The Bucs had the easiest road to the championship I’ve ever seen.

^^ But the risk is there for any of them to get injured? Durant is coming from an injury when he move to the Nets, Kyrie doesn't have a good season with the Celtics and same with Harden who's physical is not ready for an NBA reason. And yet the Nets take the risk of signing the 3 of them to get a championship ring last season. But it was a disaster for them and the woes still continue up to this season. That they decided to shift Harden and start a fresh left with Simmons.

Although I think Nets won the trade, Sixers able to let go of a problematic player to the club in exchange of someone who should be better at scoring isn't a bad deal.
Oh that! Yes, I guess that's also a win for them. Since Simmons is not even playing one of their games I guess it's also a win for them now that someone has filled the spot and the money they are paying for. Sorry, I forgot that fact. I am not in doubt with Embiid's capability but Harden is whom I am more worried about with the history of not playing at his best whenever the playoffs is happening. But who knows, maybe Embiid will the one to push him in the edge to bring his A game every time they play. It was definitely profitable for both sides. I mean Harden is better than Simmons by far if you ask me, so getting Simmons is not a "win" for Nets, but they got a player that would be willing to play for Nets and be super happy and would give everything because they saved him from the team he didn't want to play. So, Simmons is great compared to an unwilling Harden. Whereas Sixers literally got SOMETHING for Simmons, doesn't matter who it is but it is Harden that they got which is awesome. I am expecting Harden to contribute a lot but even if he does a little bit, that is better than getting zero from Simmons just sitting at home instead of playing. So both teams won if you ask me. Logically right, much better than a sitting Simmons, and beside that's Harden, an MVP caliber that will bring his game to Philly. Even they already have Embiid but contributions from Harden is also a good plus factor to them, he can attract defense and he can give good offensive scores. We will see the aftereffect of this trade after this season, either they will end up facing each other to the next round or better to compete for the ECF, we never know but looking forward to that. And much better than an unwilling Harden, certainly both teams benefited from those trade and both players have much to prove. As I said before, there's no doubt that Harden will have no problem adjusting to his new team as he is flexible in any role, he will be a good additional asset to 76ers and a mega duo is likely to be born with Embiid beside him. We will see the aftereffect of this trade after this season, either they will end up facing each other to the next round or better to compete for the ECF, we never know but looking forward to that. 76ers and Nets are scheduled to face on March 11, it will be a tough game for sure.

Harden to make Sixers debut Feb 25 So, he will be making his debut on a game against the Minnesota Timberwolves. I'm excited to see the result if Embiid+Harden will be a good tandem.

Thanks for the heads up. I am not that excited but I do want to witness what they can bring out, will it be chaos or will it be a romantic story with a happily ever after at the end. I don't see Embiid as the type of waiting for Harden to finish his 100 dribbles per 24 second so I hope this will be a better duo than any other coupled with him. I thought Capela was the best to highlight the passing skills of him back in Houston but they broke that pair so this should be better with Embiid's length of skill set.

No problem mate! Not a 76ers fan nor a Harden but I'm just thrilled to see what would be the effect of this trade and I also do hope that it will be more of a good romantic story between Hardeen and Embiid tandem and of course with the team with a wonderful season ending. Embiid on the other hand doesn't have to wait Harden for that to accomplish another history or whatever it is.

All teams have those kind of games. It is not really that shocking for Sixers to lose like this just once, they are 5th in the east right now and they are doing fine, and that was without Harden (and without Simmons too) so it is clear to me that they are only going to get better from this point out. Do not imagine that Sixers lost this game this badly so they will stay this bad for a long time, they are going to be doing just fine in the future for sure, they are not going to end up losing to all teams like this.
It is just one game and it happens even to the best teams and there is nothing to worry about. Celtics could be hopeful thanks to this, but east looks too complicated to say any one team is better than the other.

Are you sure though? Personally I never thought that Doc Rivers was a good fit for the 76ers and I think that he is a tremendouly overrated coach. He was never able to win a championship outside of Boston, where he had a huge Big 3. There is way too much drama going on in the Sixers office for this to work out long term in my opinion.

"Complicated" may not be the right word to describe the Eastern Conference this season. I think "competitive" is the better term. It's hard to pick when their roster are complete and healthy to play. The winnner or loser mostly comes down to which team has less injured players.

I don't think that's a gamble for the Sixers. Simmons badly wants to get out, what choice do Sixers have? Just keep Simmons for nothing? There's no way a team will get Simmons only, it needs a package. Now with that trade, at least one Sixers problem has already been resolved. If James Harden is not fit with the team, then no choice but to consider trading him until they find a good role player. That's how it should work from now on.

76ers and Nets are scheduled to face on March 11, it will be a tough game for sure.
This should be epic, considering that Durant will most likely be back by then. By the way, it's also worth noting that this game will be on the home arena of the 76ers. So I wonder how the 76ers fans will react to Simmons' first appearance on their court. Although it seems to me that Simmons will most likely want to miss this match due to his mental issues.
