But you can bet twice for a point, i mean, you lose the spain match but you can choose another "winning team with a spread bet wager from Group B" to get the point, obviously from the round of 16 this will be impossible.

yep, so its a loss for now, until I decide which next game to pick.

I posted a request over on the ecointalk forums asking for pictures of the xmark.x1 account on Ghash's pool.  I requested screen shots of the workers page and history as well as the balances page of cex.io and recent payouts.

David said that to his knowledge, they only used the testnet for testing.  Then a couple of days later, they showed a picture of a X-1 hashing and on the cgminer page, it showed it was mining to Ghash.io.  Another lie or just testing?  You decide.

Doubt it we will get the pictures, but its about all we can do.

I will still be receiving my first batch next week, I have elected to receive the entire batch without the LCD in order to get them ASAP. Screens will be received and distributed after the fact those who want it.

Do you have any idea about whether they will have the plastic case or the metal one?

Metal. I never advertised or stated the X1s would have wifi or anything of the sort, so I am full steam ahead in getting the X1s out to customers ASAP. Most dont care for the LCDs as stated here often enough.

Completely agree, don't care about LCD (possibly want in future if it ever gets fixed for resell purposes) or WiFi (LAN is better anyway), but my concern is stacking of units, which was and still is advertised, but David has said will not be possible with metal case.  Has this been fixed or will we need tons of space to spread them out?

When I visited I was shown the render for the stacker, looked pretty awesome. I dont know the current status of it, I will check.

Appreciate it!

Short update:

X1 arrived earlier today, broken cable included, but luckily I had a spare.
A wire inside the case blocked the fan from spinning.
Have yet to get the unit hashing, but after lots of trial and error, I am at least able to login to the web front-end.

Does it have a pi or a custom controller in it?

I liked the live betting on baseball on the old book, will that soon be an option on the new layout?

Also, is the live casino running yet?  I can load everything and get in, but I am unable to click on a seat at a table and wager, am I perhaps doing something wrong?

Sounds good, keep up the goodwork!  So far really happy with this investment, you are doing a great job of informing the community and keeping people up to date (I understand if a day or two is missed here or there, heck I would be happy with weekly updates, but daily is above and beyond)

Keep it up!

After being flamed at on the ecointalk forums for asking this very question, I contacted MinerSource and they stated that they will not know what cords will come with your unit until it arrives at their facility.  They will then notify people on whether they need to buy cords or not.

Per ecointalk forums, David said they would do their best to ensure everyone has the correct cord, this was also stated previously in updates.  But, the first actual miner, received by MinerSource, did not come with a power cord per Thomas_s, and the first miner, not to a BA employee or reseller, came with the wrong cord (per ecointalk forums).  Obviously we know what BA's best is given our current situation, but I think given proper notice from MinerSource I can still order cables and have them arrive in time with my units so I cam holding out for that.  (although I would be very unhappy to have to lay down another 10 or so dollars per X-1 along with shipping costs)

We may go ahead and purchase sufficient cables for our US customers.

/cheer, once again MinerSource showing why they get the gold amongst all this fail.

Email sent, it can't get any worse...

Seems to be a trolling attempt, replied asking if we could come to some sort of settlement, I replied asking for 3/4ths of my balance, he replied offering 31 hugs.  Just FYI

Why do you feel your entitled to compensation be glad that your getting your btc back and hope the value goes up.

I understand his though process, BA said that all bitcoins would be converted to USD to pay for production costs, and by not doing so, they were effectively gambling, risk free, with customers money.  I understand their position as well, you paid in bitcoin, you get the same amount back.  Its just a shitty situation that could all be solved if they would do the job of a halfway decent company and provide some kind of information, ANYTHING would be helpful at this point.

Does the parlay bets need to be on the spread or can they be money line bets or anything?

It seems to me that there is not enough free capitol on Havelock.  This is something that i have been thinking of for awhile, as there does not seem to be much liquidity there.  I have never really seen an advertising campaign from them either, perhaps they could get a bigger inflow of bitcoins if they were to say advertise on the forums or somewhere else?
