Shareholders only have as much blind faith as you have in spondoolies.
But I agree there will be a shitstorm if there are no dividends in 2 months. But as shareholders you agree to take thay risk knowing it is a gamble.
Also to clarify I think the chances of SP underperforming are as likely as overperforming. However it's impossible to know without a chip in hand.
I'm more skeptical of the shipping date. If they are taping out in may that leaves no room for delays.
Actually first AM shareholders had more blind faith than mine in Spondoolies. At first nobody knew who fc is or his team and had no proof when they invested in the IPO. Me on the other hand i know the team and they released a product first. It's a bit different. Taping out early in May means they will get chips early in July. Plenty of time to sort things up until August delivery. |

That's what I was thinking as well.
How does yours run on 110? Or you have 220 breaker for them?
I'm on 220V, but i think that running them on 110V limits them at 1.35Th/s. |

PS: did you notice the lack of shitstorm(from customers) with AM missing spec/date?
That's because shareholders have blind faith in friedcat. Let's see how gen3.1 goes. You already had one month with no dividends right? If AM doesn't start shipping gen3.1 chips in 1 month i assume people will start asking questions. If they won't ship/pay good dividends in 2 months then the shitstorm is coming. |

Ive got a couple local options here.
Could be building a data closet at a friends place who has power covered

I need to know though what these will run at if the voltage is 100V 50hz???
I can get the 200V breaker / line installed quite cheap / free with my lease agreements I believe
so I guess well see how it goes.
In my opinion you should install the 200V breaker. It is definitely better than 100V, but i'm not a technician. |

Very interesting. Why would one want to contact that law firm and tell their story of being ripped off by VMC? To what end would it serve? To put ken where his place is (behind bars) and so that shareholders could recoup any milibits that then can get from him. And also to teach others to stop playing with customers money and orders. My understanding is that they build to order. They have the capacity to build 1100 SP30s for August delivery, but they will only build the amount ordered. They won't build more than ordered and sell them from stock.
They have the capacity to build only 1000 SP30 for August delivery. The 100 extra was just in case there were people who won't pay in case this got filled up. @Crypto_Cumbrian from what i know not all the details are set up. But the there isn't any additional cost except the installation fee and the monthly fee. Depending on what you choose (free shipping or one month of hosting for free) then you might pay for shipping. As for import duty well i'm not sure, but i think it will either be very low or non-existent. Touch Labor i'm not sure if it's needed. The SP10 reboots itself when it's not mining for more than 5 minutes and there should be a staff 24/7 that can check the connectivity to the miner. Warranty no idea. |

Also, just making sure, the hosting deal for $290 per month is all inclusive, right? I wouldn't need to pay for electricity or anything in addition? And it's available for all customers, not just Americans, right? It would save me a lot because there is a 25% import VAT in my country. The hosting deal is $290 per month all inclusive, but you will need to commit for at least 6 months(monthly payments). But before that you will need to pay $100 as installation fee and also one month deposit is required. At this point i'm not sure if you need to pay $100+$290+$290 or just $100+$290(i think/hope it will be this). It's available for ALL customers. The only defense I ever made was not to get the law involved because that would equal never getting a cent back. Looks like I was right, the MSD will put an end to my investment and ruin my entire fortune. I believe you're misallocating blame. The MSD is pretty much irrelevant to losing your investment. I think there is zero chance that the police will, without further investigation, conclude that KNC have acted fraudulently.
Due to different languages and different legal systems, we may not agree here. However, we could make a bet (since you seem to be British.. :-) If KnC doesn't refund in time and I succeed to file a criminal case against them, you will send me 24 bottles of Belgium beer (Rochefort). If I do not succeed, I'll send you 24 bottles of a beer of your choice. (You can file a criminal case (make a complaint to the police) against anyone for anything, that doesn't mean that any notice will be taken of it or that it will have any effect). If you manage to have a European Arrest Warrant issued for any of KNC's employees [for failing to refund your money within 30 days], I'll send you 100 bottles of Belgium beer. Is the acceptable time for a refund stated in their TOS? If not, you could sue them for fraud but they would likely return your money in the meantime, getting them off the hook.
Ok i can understand the delivery, but you should be able to claim damages by late refund right? I mean since you are entitled to a refund and they drag it for more than 1 month there must be a way to claim damages from that. |
