The latest rumors report that Arsenal have offered Gabriel Jesus in a swap deal for Victor Osimhen and I think if this is true then the profits will all be Arsenal's. In the next match week, three matches catch my eye. These are City vs Brighton, Chelsea vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs West Ham. I think these matches are more important than the other matches and I think they can be more quality matches in terms of viewing pleasure. Although Chelsea is out of form and trying to recover, I expect that they will show resistance against a championship candidate team. On the other hand, I hope that we will see plenty of goals in the other 2 matches I mentioned except the Chelsea-Arsenal match.

In this match, the Barcelona attack was like a bee that can't make honey. They had many goal chances but struggled to score. They conceded 2 early goals and were stressed, they couldn't score 3 goals. In a game like this it might seem good to come back and get 1 point, but Granada are one of the weakest teams in the league, so this is definitely 2 points lost for Barcelona. I think Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid won't lose points against Granada. This means that Barcelona will have to take 3 points from bigger games to make up for this loss. Like winning in El Clasico, they need to win big games without even a draw.
Lamine Yamal's performance is improving day by day. It's important to remember that this boy is still developing, he will score many more goals and assists in the future, this is a start for him. Manchester City is an offensive club, it will not gonna work if they play with defensive strategy. I think Pep is only want to score a goal and hold until the times run out, this is not Manchester City that I know.
Pep Guardiola got his tactics all wrong with the midfielder's. Kovacic shouldn't have been a part of the game. Kovacic importance can only be seen when you lead a game and wants to put that game in control. Pep Guardiola will learn from his mistakes. That cleared, Arsenal did play well, they did not play a boring kind of football. After the international break, they should face another big side ( Chelsea ) blues are pushing to the top but that would be a game for gunners to win. It's a season to see Arsenal winning the Premier League. Tottenham I'm impressed with, the goalkeeper is good both with the legs and hands. After point losses in the Ligue 1 and Champions League for two games PSG finally won a game. Honestly I didn't expect this game against Rennes to be comfortable at all. I even thought Rennes would get some points from them. However getting 2-0 ahead in the first half made things much easier than expectations.
Mbappe didn't make any goal contribution in this game. This has been the same for four games by the way. I'm curious about whether he has lost his concentration from now on. Especially after the Newcastle game he must be really frustrated.

If PSG had been a a much better position and form, this shouldn't be a game we all come back bashing the defending Champions. I just can't accept AS Roma and Bayer Leverkusen, because I think in this season it was clear that Bayer Leverkusen had better quality than AS Roma. Thanks to Martinelli, that goal was much needed. Finally Arsenal beat Manchester City. The more important thing is, they didn't give many positions to City. That means City is not an unbeateble team. When you play with right tactics and give your all, you can beat them.
Spurs and Gunners have same points now. City is 2 points behind. The league will be very long, the team that maintains continuity comes forward. It's important to have a winning streak and win big games like that. Everything looks alright for Arsenal now.
For the first time since 2015 Arsenal were able to beat Manchester City in an English Premier League game thanks to substitute Gabriel Martinelli strike in the closing minutes of their crucial encounter. After over 80 minutes of play, the looked like it was gonna end in stalemate but Mikel Arteta's substitute who has just returned from injury proved to be the difference. The eruption from the stands at the Emirates stadium after that Martinelli's goal was a true testament that Arsenal fans had waited for a moment like that for a very long time. Arsenal are now joint top of the league table with their north London neighbors Tottenham Hotspur. Manchester City off course did great but in this game, I saw they had fewer shorts on target. They created chances but not enough to score or be on target. Pep Guardiola and his midfied was boring, the entire game was also boring not until the second half where we saw more of a lively game. The substitution made by Mikel Arteta locked the midfied up. Thomas Partey, Kai Havertz and Declan Rice made sure to work together to keep the three points. Arsenal deserves the win, they made sure they held Manchester City from opening them up. |

This is as a result if our corrupt practices, they say charity begins at home and most of our home based referees have had some negative pr and it also seems they are easily compromised. Aside from these, I don’t think there are any other reasons why our indigenous referees would be left out entirely for the AFCON games. It’s a question of the integrity of our referees than qualification.
This is beyond corruption as I am seeing this as a total negligence to Nigeria as a country. Although there is still an alarming internal corruption in NFF, if not they should have written to the CAF. Even if it requires the signatory of Nigerian president. If it is about competence, Nigeria can afford to train more than 50 personnel's in Europe about officiating. Do you know that in the last six editions of the AFCON tournament, only three Nigerians have made the list of officiating as the last edition, no single Nigerian made the list. The people in the Nigerian Football Federation are not players that have played the game in the past. They are simply political leaders who have come so whatever that happens goes all round them. We will never see the Nigerian Football Federation progressing forward. All these acts must have lead to poor standards now they have be limited in bringing officials ahead of the African Cup of Nations Competition. Real Madrid are the 3rd favoured team for the Champions League title by bookmakers. However I have started seeing them like they have nearly equal chances with Manchester City for winning it this season. Edit A few minutes ago now the 2:1 by Lamine Yamal, that had to be so that Barca does not lose motivation after halftime. I think there will be at least two more goals and new players will come in. This will be a good 45 minutes. Disappointed if you ask for my opinion about how Barcelona played. This is a game they should have taken all three points but they couldn't. I understand that Manchester City needed almost all the players that they had to actually achieve the success that they did. It wouldn’t have happened by only having HAALAND. but at the same time, he was a big performer for them as well. I would not say that Manchester United actually would have been able to win all the trophies that they did without Haaland. They even used him as a bait. He was performing so well that the opponent actually guarded him all the time and while doing so left holes in the defense which Manchester City was able to exploit.
Anyway, I always think that a player should not move to another club if he does not find anything uncomfortable with his current club. So I don’t think he should move. At least not now.

Tottenham really made a big surprise, the majority of EPL fans didn't think they could be unbeatable in the hands of this new coach, i wonder how long Tottenham will be at the top of the EPL standings, it seems Pep Guardiola has to use a new strategy. 8 games in the Premier League and no one lost, this are 1st place in the league. I think that Harry Kane currently congratulate his ex teammates. He is in 3rd place in the German League. Who would have thought that Manchester loses today. The next two top games are on 04.11. against Chelsea and 02.12. against Manchester City. Heung-Min Son is with 31 years one of the most important players at Tottenham, in 8 games he scored 6 goals. When giving praises, do well to praise who's worthy. Son Heung - Min have been praised why not so same for James Madison? Just like KDB Said, he wants to see him at a top club before he rates him higher.
