3021  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bitburner Fury - Hashrate Protection on: October 16, 2013, 12:27:24 PM
Update on refunds:

We will issue the 100,- Euro refund per board / 600,- Euro for 8 board unit. Refunds will be processed as soon as our PayPal account has been unblocked (currently all funds are held hostage by PayPal, even for refunds).

Why anyone these days dares to use PayPal for any serious trading activity with their propensity for freezing accounts left and right for months on end, escapes me completely. If this is true, you've been huge morons to trust that shithole of a company.

Don't tell me you funneled _all_ your money to PayPal account...

well because you get protection as a consumer, in this case people who got delayed and people who didn't get the described product or it didn't meet their expectation opened a dispute cases on their PayPal accounts to get a refund.

it is the company Fail that they got their PayPal account blocked, If they met the criteria they made their selves less people would be effected and would be happy with their service which would prevent something like that from happening.

a refund option should be available on Bitcoin network as well, it might be a bad thing for big companies that usually fulfill their commitments, but it would add more Protection to consumers, which will encourage the adoption of bitcoin and will prevent scams and douchebag companies from playing around.

Shocking to me.

Have a question? Write them an email. Replied to me within 24 hours (And considering the crazies that are in this thread I'm sure their email bin is just filled with Garbage they have to sift through).

why bother we have Orama, he is not even paid for what he is doing
3023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 14, 2013, 07:15:04 PM

so he will give you the order number next thing you know you guys at KNC fuck him and delay his order even more..... or you can do even worst as a revenge, just simply update these guys with  a real answer, you do not need his order number, allot of people wants some real and clear answers, as clear as the questions are....

I am not a customer of KNC or any other ASIC company , I did the right choice, each time I saw a product I thought twice before ordering and went strait and bought bitcoins instead and you know what, It is really paying off.

but watching your posts disgust me, you are the biggest shill I saw in my life, how can you sleep at night knowing that people trusted your words now they are fucked, i even saw a guy threatening that he has to get a refund or he is going to commit a suicide, maybe it seems stupid but when I saw that post I was shocked, Get your shit toguther it is going to get ugly, and do not forget this is not BFL allot of your customers are based in EU and you know what kind of law we have here......

Really?

Seriously?

I haven't been dishonest at anypoint at all. I've only ever shared my own research, which could be validated. I have never been paid for my time, I haven't asked for anything other than if it all works out to be a part of something bigger. I haven't told anyone other than to be responsible for their own choices and do their own research.

Don't give me any suicide bollocks. If anyone has put themselves in that position (which they haven't) it's certainly got nothing to do with me. Be real. I've always said verify what I share for yourselves. visit KnC for yourselves, and they've delivered more than what the promised at a better power consumption than they claimed. Absolutely no one has any reason to be upset. What's been achieved is nothing short of remarkable.

Grow up. I've shown people how they can make an informed choice and protect themselves with secure payment methods.

This is the most bizarre thing i've ever seen. It has to be the only business where a company's own customers will go to any length to ensure the company does not succeed. The selfishness and greed is absolutely sickening.

grow up you said ? BTW what are you doing there, working for them or showing how a nice guy you with helping out the community, and then you state you haven't been paid !!!  let me break that down for you, you didn't let any one say a bad word about KNC, each time someone  questioned their design/plan/intention you jumped in and started defending them as their lawyer, I can copy each post over here to  prove it, heck 10% if not more posts on this thread are yours.

but if you really didn't get paid for all of this then I will break this down for you, get a life, you are the biggest shill in bitcoin history, what you are doing is called "conflict of interest"

Hi!

So you want to build an app that talks to the bitcoind / litecoind deamon? Very curious what plans you have.  Smiley

If I may make a suggestion: when you want to lead the project from the architecture perspective I recommend a app like Pencil project ( http://pencil.evolus.vn ). It's an open source prototyping tool which let's you create mock ups for interfaces and also let's you draw out process flows.

These two can be shared and edited by the developers and this could aid in a broader understanding among developers on what was meant by certain comments or ideas. This could be important since communicating over the internet has some drawbacks which could result in the loss of some of the necessary context.

You can install Pencil on Linux using your favorite package manager. For Windows and Mac there is a download on their website and also there is a portable Windows version on PortableApps ( http://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/pencil-project-portable ).

Maybe this will help you a bit.

TFK

thanks for your interest, but no it is bigger than an App, though I might need an app if this turns out to be successful.

I am an IT engineer and it has been a long time since I wrote a code ( since college, a decade!!!?), I am working in IT operations in a big company so all what I was doing in my career is administration of the infrastructure.

the bottom line is I have a project that I was trying to do my self and I am failing to accomplish for few reasons, one of the reasons is that it is not a one man Job, the second one is that I have been off for long time that I have no energy to start all over again and I want this project to be done professionally, so I am not going to play and waste my time for something I know that I need help at.

I am looking for developers that Have a full understanding of how bitcoind/litecoind works, and  that can make professional codes and designs. and some good knowledge in programing ( don't care which language) .

I can maintain the infrastructure, but I am a bad programmer as I stated before, I have an Idea that can be really profitable in the long term view, I will pay for the work but I would rather take the developers as partners because the work will need continues improvements.

If you feel that you are capable and wish to do this adventure with me please feel free to contact me.

LTC has been in that API since April or so.

no you are wrong, in this api LTC never appeared, the new thing here is that LTC have many currency pairs beside USD, this was never on their API before
3032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC going on gox on 11 Oct 2013- Confirmed on: October 10, 2013, 01:21:13 PM

3033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LTC in MtGOX in less than 24h ???? on: October 10, 2013, 12:50:24 PM
about the engine I am speculating that this is why they will bring the exchange down tomorrow, to make it possible to implement medas the new engine, I am an IT operation engineer and I can tell you that on hardware level you can do hot swap without a problem, this means when we maintain the hardware there is almost no down time or if it is a major one it takes only few minutes, it is different when there is a software upgrade/maintenance.

so it goes like this we usually we clone the server and do all the necessary work on the clone offline, when the clone is ready we bring it online and take down the original one, but in this case there is trading going on all the time so they cant do it this way, so they have to go offline to prevent writing new entries to the data base, so they will go offline and then just import/export the data base to their new servers, test if everything works fine and again bring it online.

Which leaves only one possibility, I think medas is going online tomorrow, and if they tested medas and it is working they tested LTC  implementation as well, it make no sense taking down the exchange twice, once for medas and the second time for LTC, at least an IT professional would not do that.

yes in Europe that OCZ 1250w cost around 230€ (around  312$) the same for the 950W, well it is sad but true... good luck though
3040  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] Some used PSU's on: October 08, 2013, 04:10:54 PM
I have an OCZ 1250W ZX series used for only a couple of months willing to sell if you are from EU, I would take 1.8BTC for it, I also have a 950W Silencer MKII was used the same like the first one, I would like to get around 1.3BTC for it.

I would sell both for 3 BTC
