3041  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another huge dump happening today, is this it? on: April 18, 2021, 09:45:22 PM
We are again seeing a bloody market, what is happening, do you know what's the reason behind this huge dump?
I saw on reddit that a hacker has sold a lot of bitcoins from the incident in the past but can't find the link of it. But there's another one that has posted about why there's a dip. Here's the link: https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/mtcuwt/if_you_wondered_why_the_dip_heres_why/
With more FUD, it's easy to stop this bull run, probably they (whales) are doing that because they are already satisfied with what they have made so far.
price dip means they'll start from the start to accumulate and wait for another situation like this.

Major coins are in red, the rest will follow, what could be next?
Recovery.

Recovery or more dump.. we never know, as of now, prices are still down, we can't say it has recovered yet, but let's wait and see.
3042  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 18, 2021, 08:55:08 PM
That was embarasing performance from fat version of Ben Askren but I guess he is happy with $500,000 he earned for this shitshow.
Problem is that we are going to see a lot more Jake Paul now and maybe he is going to call other MMA fighters like Connor McGreggor who is much better in boxing, or someone else who is in his category.

That's not a problem if we will not watch his fight, lol...

Well, if it's Conor, I guess that would be a nice fight, but we don't know if Conor is now conditioned after losing his last fight.
Conor already made a huge money from his fight against Mayweather, so it's gonna be lower as expected, but still its easy money.

How about Jake Paul vs Mayweather?
3043  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★BetBTC★ Sportsbook | Bitcoin Sports Betting | Since 2014 | Instant Withdrawals on: April 18, 2021, 08:41:19 PM
@BetBTC, now that the transaction fee for bitcoin is really high, do you plan on adding deposit options like DOGE, TRX, and XRP?

I guess that would help us gamblers save from huge fees on bitcoin network.

We are not planning to accept other currencies but Bitcoin, however you can fund your account with other currencies (but it's always converted to BTC afterwards)

That's nice to hear, at least when depositing we can choose an altcoins for cheaper and  probably more faster to reflect in our account.

Soccer Wizard is Back! 🎉

Nice to see it back again, hopefully we will get more than the minimium.  Smiley
3044  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: April 18, 2021, 12:01:20 PM
With this big disappointments, I'm wondering if we can still bet on these sports in the future.
I mean, like MPBL, it's a popular league next to PBA, and when there's a controversy inside about sports rigging, will sportsbook still list this game?
They might be but if another thing happens, I'm sure that will be the time that they will start to consider removing most of them or those teams that have an ugly history.
And if that time comes for sure many will be disappointed not unless the sportsbooks doesn't care about this kind of anomaly.

Sportsbook are separate, they can do their thing while the management has to discipline teams and players involve in rigging, it's a big job of cleaning the league but once it's clean, people would trust them again. Corruption is rampant in our country but we should act on this, a corrupt sport will never survive because no fans would love to watch them.
3045  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Ben Askren on April 17 on: April 18, 2021, 11:43:04 AM
This lucky guy won.

One user has ~200k EUR worth of BTC on Jake Paul between a few different bets. Big confidence for the youtuber!

I'm also wondering what's the odds for first round KO by Jake Paul, that should high.

Looking at Ben Askren, he look not conditioned in this fight, and his body is not built to fight, looks like he was just drinking beer prior to this fight.  Grin
3046  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamblers - How do you use your signature campaign earnings? on: April 17, 2021, 09:54:23 PM
I do not know if it is such a good idea to try trading right now, you can earn more money with it than with investing but when just holding your bitcoin is so profitable then why risk it? Just keep your coins and enjoy the profits we have had during the last year, this can be difficult to accept because most people have a desire to get more and more profits but the profits that something like bitcoin has given just in this year are so high that many investors never get to enjoy something like this during all their careers as investors.
It's okay to trade it if you're thinking of doing some trades. You don't have to use all that you've got from campaigns but get a little portion or any amount that you think is a good start.
You can do both of it, the other part for trading and the others is for holding.

I guess holding is way better, what we earn in signature campaign is not big enough to start a trading, if we are serious with trading, we need to start with serious funds so we can roll it easy with a decent profit. Holding what we earn like 1 to 2 years would already be a big money in the bull run.

For me, gambling, holding, and spending some, that's what I do, at the moment, I don't care of holding as most campaign are pegged with usd and we are only getting small btc due to the high price.
3047  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 17, 2021, 09:15:15 PM
More than 2 months from this post , any update of what this fight showing in future?
also there is still no sign of Manny fighting anyone this near ..
AFAIK, there's still no update about this fight. All of those locations that were published by some could only be rumors until there's no statement that comes from both parties.
There's a sign that Manny will fight someone but they're only saying that he's about to match with anyone until those boxers that they've offered to fight him would agree and have the final say.

Exactly, but the rumors are getting true now that we are already talking about the dates and venue, for all we know, they just want to hype this fight more since both fighters are wanting big money, of couse, two of the great fighters in sports are giving us entertainment, they deserve huge reward.

Manny will fight this year, that was his announcement, but more talks are coming from Manny's side, we haven't heard a lot of information from the opposite side yet, but still we have to be positive here.
Yes, we need to remain positive and if they've already talked about it, the chances of seeing him fight again are very big. It's just a matter of time and discussion on the other side.
Hopefully they can agree with the right amount of deal as the previously asking money maybe too big for the promoters to produce.

But as for Manny, there's no problem about the fight, he's up with anyone.

Of course he can do that since most boxers who are eligible to fight him always wants to fight him for bigger pay check, but Crawford is different, he is  one of the best so as a fan we like to see the best to fight the legend.
3048  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it Possible Stellar Lumens/XLM Reach $100 on: April 17, 2021, 08:15:58 PM
According to my estimate, from the total supply more than 99.8% XLM will have to be burned to reach $100 mark which is absolutely impossible, the massive total supply of XLM is a big barrier so we can't expect this kind of massive growth in its price nevertheless on the technical and fundamental basis xlm looks a capable altcoin to reach at least $5 mark.
I dont think its really possible plus if they have to burn that much of xlms its impossible to ever reach it
A milestone would be good if it could reach like you said at least 5$. It bearly raised to 0.6$

XLM is less than half of the XRP's circulating supply, we never doubt XRP would reach $4 before and yet we doubt XLM to reach 5$? I don't see the logic here, I think if XLM will get the same success of XRP in the past, XLM would price at $10, but $100 is quite unlikely though.

^ The fight is almost there everyone may place their bets now. It's 4 days more left.
I was able to witness how these peeps fight from some of their matches Odds might favor Jake Paul. But probably, judging on how they fight and the strategy. I am seeing a draw on this fight and I was surprised when I saw the news that these two will have both feet within a ring together. It thrilled me as, before this, I have imagined how good the match would be if they are the fighters. Ben Askren has the very least advantage against Paul but we will never know what will happen. Just for me, it’s a draw. They are a match.

placed a small bet on jake paul here for my motivation to watch this fight.  Grin if paul will win this fight, will he ask for exhibition fight from mayweather? lol btw, at least this fight pushed thru as compared to his bro's fight against mayweather.
You've made a small bet to keep yourself motivated watching this fight. Myself got motivated to watch this match due to a bet thats been placed by an user on Stake. I'm waiting for the day once after seeing the bet Jake Paul vs Ben Askren

That was a huge bet, 81k usd for the youtuber, wow... he really know sometihng or this guy is just playing around with the much btc he has profited during the bull run. It's hard to tell, but I like a real fighter here to win, not a youtuber though his record is 2-0 in profesional boxing.
3051  Economy / Speculation / Re: The price of bitcoin may go bull soon on: April 16, 2021, 10:39:26 PM
Where it will stop it is not sure but if we think about current price of bitcoin in the market, within some days bitcoin may cross the land mark of $100k. Price isn't suitable for us to buy but after some days, it will tough to buy a little amount. So we should enter the market right now.

No clear sign about the bear since even if certain bearish market hit btc easily recover so maybe let's assume that we can see more btc bullish market until the end of this month, but let see what performance could possibly bring up on next month since hopefully we can see it more aggressively pumping the same these days.
Already anticipating for some bearish trend on next months to come, its a bit unusual for this run to be that long or shall we say that it isnt something similar back in the past.

For now im waiting up for that moment but it seems that the market is way too positive for me to wait up for possible dip or hard correction. Bitcoin is playing around 58k and 63k.

We dont know if we would eventually break 65k until goes to 70k which would really be that possible for this year if the said movement would continue in gradual phase.

Well the momentum has put into hold for now as there are Bitcoin Crashes After Accident in Xinjiang, China Halts Mining Operation.

So no $65k-$70k this week, this explosion has affected the hash rate and obviously the price as there could be some investors who panic upon hearing this year. But we are still in the positive for this month, reaching new all time high.

China news again, this effect will only be temporary of course, maybe it's time for people to accumulate now as there's a minor crash, but this news is not huge enough to cause a dump or panic if investors will not only look at the price but on the reason of the dump as well.

Quote
Just another unexpected hiccup because of the news but we are still holding up around the $60k support levels.

This si the good news, we have $60k suppport and bitcoin is still at $62k now with only 2.38% drop per CMC.

3053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 15, 2021, 09:42:01 PM

BREAKING NEWS: LaMarcus Aldridge retires from NBA

I've read it several times, even check the date, to see if this true. And it's real.  I'm surprised because just recently, he's part of the big news when he becomes a part of the most stacked team in the NBA right now, Brooklyn Nets.

Just to save others from clicking that link, Aldridge said he experienced an irregular heartbeat during their last game against the Lakers and worsened later in the evening. He was rushed to the hospital after telling the team what happened.

This was unexpected. Maybe he just didn't share it but looks like his medical condition is something serious to the point that he retires quickly instead of just resting for long or give few weeks before announcing it.
Unexpected and I'm also surprised to read that news, I've first read it on social media and thought of it as a joke because of the recent news that he recently transferred to Nets. Well, health over career and speedy recovery to him. It's good that he has chosen his health first and put that into priority, he can still be part of the league or his team but not as a player.

I'm sad for him, this could be his chance to win an NBA championship but this happened, I hope he is okay, if that's the right thing to do then be it, let's just pray for him. Disease makes their dream stops, just like Chris Bosh when he had a health issue, he never came back to play again.

3054  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who Benefited from AME Token? on: April 15, 2021, 09:27:13 PM
Say has done research on Ame. currently they are doing Staking program with high APY of more than 200%. besides launching the Amekart platform for now. in terms of market now it's pretty good. but unfortunately those in this forum get negative trust. I don't understand what this problem is, but what is clear is that if we invest and it turns out that they are not fundamentally good enough to consider it first

There is nothing surprising. However, it should be understood that the red trust on the forum of the project is not for nothing. They are accused not only of delaying coin payments, this is a common practice, but also of using dishonest methods to attract investors, which is why they received a red trust on the forum. And the bounty manager received it for tokens.

I hope they will realized how it affect their future in the crypto space, bitcointalk is a big community, so seeing a red tide coming from a DT is a big thing IMO. However, it's still not to late, they are just delaying the bounty payment, the solution is to give it, so there will be no scam accusation.
3055  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao offered $10 million to fight Terence Crawford on: April 14, 2021, 10:18:58 PM
Honestly, I prefer the Mickey Garcia fight, Crawford is just too big and dangerous for Manny.
Bradley said that Crawford is in danger if he'll fight Manny.
That's correct, while some people says Manny is in danger with Crawford but that's the same sentiment when Manny fight Thurman which is actually bigger than Crawford IMO, let's not overreact here, expert knows better and Manny himself knows he can beat Crawford that's why he challenge him.
3056  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: April 14, 2021, 09:53:21 PM
Nets and Sixers game is starting in a little while on ESPN. Should be a good one to watch. I believe Harden is still out with an injury and Aldridge has a cold last time I checked, but it should be a good game nonetheless. If the Sixers can’t beat an injured Nets team now while they’re still working players into the lineup, I don’t think they have much of a chance come playoff time.

I'll bet on the Sixers to win in this game, they have a very good home record with 20-5, and I guess Nets are consistently good at home even last season. The betting line is saying that Sixers could win this game as they are the heavy favorites, so I'm following what the bookie says.

Thanks for sharing your experience, it was long story but worth to read.

For me, that was a big debt and it was as wrong decision to gamble to pay your debt, it didn't work on you, so same with others.
Sometimes we are in that kind of situation where we got greedy because we think of all our payabales but shit happened and  instead of that loan will help us, it only makes our problem worst.

May I ask, did you take that loan with collateral or none?
3058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If BNB will reach $500, what's next? on: April 11, 2021, 12:14:54 PM
The only thing that holding it back though, the fact that it's centralized, it could go south like anytime.

Honestly, this is one of the main concern, for centralized coin in a decentralized space to succeed does not make sense, maybe BNB are just overvalued at the moment and ETH would really pump more than BNB can are doing once their ETH 2.0 is successfully launch. People have been talking about it that it will resolve the high fees problem, but until now it's not yet fully implemented, but still good for ETH as its stable and it has also pump in this bull run period.

Cone sees Slaughter flourishing with NorthPort: 'He needs the game to be built around him'

Just to let him feel upset on the trade, lol.. The fact that they let him go, it means they don't need him anymore as they are not satisfied with his performance, I'm not sure if that statement is really serious.
When Greg is still in the league around 2009, there are rumors already spreading regarding the Greg-CStand trade and after that Greg decided to leave Ginebra to practice outside the PH.

Now that he is back, he's just being used as a trading tool and now the Ginebra got Cstand in exchange of him. One thing more is that the Ginebra already won a championship without him and that is a proof that they don't need him in order to win a championship. On Greg's side, he must show his improvements of his practice last year and he must show that the Ginebra really made the wrong choice of trading him. I'm really excited how Greg will play this upcoming season and how he will fit on the NorthPort Smiley. I'm excited to see his improvements.

He can stand out but the fact that the team he's been sent is not the type of a team who can compete with superb teams.

Plus also he's aging and lots of injuries, he can give some good minutes but without any supporting cast to win the game, he'll be forgotten
all along.

He should be thankful to land a team and now will still playing, unlike with other known players who still don't have clear destinations.

He is lucky he has the height, big man are usually a demand in the PBA, especially with the height like of JMF and Slaughter, they are actually rivals during their collage days and I'm happy they are still here in the PBA, thouhgh they don't have the same fate.

Speaking of injuries, that really is a big problem for the success of a player, look JMF, he is still out and with the recent report we read, he may not be able to come back early this season because there's a little problem.
3060  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ancajas vs Rodriguez - April 10th on: April 11, 2021, 09:58:49 AM
Congratulations to Jerwin Ancajas for winning the fight. It was a great fight, I didn't expect that Rodriguez would last but it's good that Ancajas won in UD.
He was kinda tired but he continue to fight and win, I think he need to strengthen his condition and improve his punching power.
